Chapter 1: prologue

Chapter Text

Twelve years ago.

The moon had already been at its zenith for half a minute, the stars were burning brightly with it. The members of a large and happy family who had fallen asleep had their tenth dream, unaware that someone's silhouette, standing on the roof of a neighboring building, was quietly watching them. Sudden blows and knocks in the next room immediately woke up the restlessly sleeping head of the family. He jumped up, quickly woke his wife and asked her to quietly hurry to hide with her daughter, who was lying next to them, in another part of their house.

—Darling, I don't understand, - muttered the surprised and already awakened mother. — I don't understand anything.

—Please, honey, do what I said, - her husband said softly and calmly, kissing her.

The woman nodded and almost silently hurried to hide with her daughter. The man grabbed a katana and went to the next room, where the second child was lying. A one-year-old child was lying in his small crib, his plaintive loud crying terribly irritated a man who looked coldly with his blood-red eyes.

— The Kamado family has brought me too many problems, and in return I will take away from them the most valuable thing they have ... — said the man, holding out his deathly pale but strong hand in front of the baby.
The child's father immediately burst in, opening the paper painted doors.

— Mudzan, you will not dare to touch my son! — he shouted to the uninvited guest who came to their house. But there was no demon in the room, no child, just an alarmed crib and a lot, a lot of blood. The man froze in place, tears involuntarily rolled down his long-haggard face. Overwhelmed emotions forced him to swallow the lump stuck in his throat and scream, realizing that his child was dead.
