"Why did I dream about that?"

Glen quickly put his glasses on. He went downstairs to get the leftover food. After finishing eating, the doorbell rang.

"Good morning, Glen."

At the front door, a boy's head, barely reaching his shoulder, appeared.

"Morning, where's Sam?"

Apparently, he had a student council meeting, so he got up super early. Honestly, I think he's working too hard! " The boy puffed his cheeks. That made Glen want to poke it.

"Stop poking my cheeks."

When Glen arrived at the school gate, He saw a man with a broad shoulder disciplining a bunch of students.

When sneaking in, he suddenly bumps into a hard object.

"Wait, Sam, how did you get here so fast?" A man crossing his arms was in front of Glen.

"Glen, I told you many times that piecing is not allowed in the school."

"It's not piercing, it's magnetic earing."

"Still not allowed." The man slowly reached for his ear and confiscated the earring.

"You're cute enough without it," he mumbled under his breath.

"Wait, what?"

"I told you you were cool enough without it."

"I'm glad that you know that."

"Let's go." I'll escort you to your classroom. " Sam put his hand on Glen's head and started rubbing his head.

"Stop rubbing my hair; don't you have work to do?" Glen slapped Sam's hand away.

"They can handle that by themselves," and "besides, I'm not even a disciplinary committee member."

While walking in the hallway, someone shouted Sam's name.

"There you are, Sam; I've been looking for you for quite some time."

"Hello Caleb, you're almost late again."

"Nu-uh, I still have 30 seconds left." Caleb held out an antique stopwatch. Sam thought it was interesting that for such a cute boy, he always had old and weird stuff.

"And by the way, Glen, why did you leave me back there?"

"Well, I'm not the one who suddenly ran off to play basketball with strangers."

"Still, you should cheer me on."

"Well, I already predicted the outcome." They underestimated you, and you caught them off guard and won."

Caleb was smiling so widely that it was blinding.

Well, thanks to me, I can treat you guys to snacks.

Sam narrows his eyes, looking at Caleb.

Did you place another wager? You know, gambling is bad.

Glen got in-between Caleb and Sam.

"It's not really gambling, Sam; if Caleb was certain to win, no one in this area can beat Caleb except you."

Glen quickly winks at Caleb.

"Yeah, they were mobs anyway."

"Well, I suppose that's true." Sam sighed.

"Caleb, let's stop by that bakery near the school after class."

Sam and Caleb's eyes were sparkling.

Who likes who? the only thing I can say is that they want someone who likes someone else
