- Eddie’s hands are rough, his fingers are calloused from years of playing the guitar and doing his various hobbies and handicrafts
- He has a couple of scars on his hands, and between his fingers
- He doesn't have the biggest hands, but they aren’t small either
- And his fingers are quite long, they just don’t look like it when he is wearing his big metal rings
- There is always something written on his hands and wrists, small reminders or lyric ideas, it's the best place to put them so he won’t forget them later
- But he will also doodle on his hands, especially on the inside of his palms, that trampoline jump thingy? He’s done that
- The rings are obvious, he has a lot of them and picks out new ones depending on the day and what he is feeling up to
- Eddie also always wears something around both wrists
- The watch is usually always on, but he switches between a couple of different bracelets
- If you ever made him a bracelet he would so happily wear it every single day just because it reminded him of you
- At this point he has forgotten where most of them come from
- In reality most of them came from stupid mistakes, and more than one came from when he first tried to learn how to shotgun a can
- Eddie loves his hands, he is so dependent on them for so many of his day to day things that grant him some escape from Hawkins
- Obviously he needs his hands for things like playing the guitar or writing
- But he also uses his hands a lot when he talks, to underline a point or to add to his classic Eddie flair and dramatics
- Eddie also fidgets all the time, his fingers are usually always doing something, drumming against his desk or frantically scribbling into his various notebooks that are filled to the brim with campaign ideas and un sung songs
- Usually you can spot him digesting with his rings, when he is just bored or when he has something on his mind
- It's an easy outlet for him to use
- However Eddie does bite his nails when he is nervous, it is a babbit he can't seem to shake
- If Eddie has a S/O his hands are always on them, any excuse to touch or be holding them
- Hand holding is of course a given
- But he would hold your thigh under the table, letting his finger wander up and down your thigh both with innocent and slight malicious intent
- He also just loves touching you in any way
- Hands on your waist if he is standing behind you, or an arm slung around your shoulder
- His hands is the first point of contact with you, so it will always be special to him
- However he also loves holding hands, it is so innocent but also very intimate for him
- He loves intertwining your fingers with his and rubbing small circles to the back of your hand
- It’s also the perfect way to pull you in for a hug or raise your hand to press a kiss to the back of it
- Eddie is also a child on the inside and loves to swing your hands back and forth when you are walking together
- He would think it is the cutest thing ever
- And do not get him started on comparing hand sizes, it would absolutely make the man melt
