Chapter Text
“Is it done? Is it really finally done?” Jaeyoung asked, stared with disbelief at the ending credits for Veggie Venturer before looking over at Sangwoo, the computer screen was a rectangular image reflected in his eyes.
“I think it is. I think it’s done,” Sangwoo confirmed in a small voice.
Jaeyoung released a big breath. “I -”
“Wait, let me make a second back up.”
Sangwoo typed a few commands, and a download window appeared on the screen.
They watched it intently as a little bar slowly filled up in green, and finally a 100% message appeared. Sangwoo fingers clattered over the keyboard and a new window confirmed the file had appeared in the designated folder.
Sangwoo turned to look at Jaeyoung.
“It’s done.”
The slow smile that was appearing on his face turned into a full on grin to match the one appearing on Jaeyoung’s face.
Jaeyoung threw his arms up in the air. “Mansae!”
Sangwoo laughed.
“No mansae?” Jaeyoung asked cutely.
“Mansae,” Sangwoo repeated, lifting his two hand up slightly.
Jaeyong caught Sangwoo’s two hands with his, interlocking their fingers.
“Tell me I did a good job.”
Sangwoo snorted, Jaeyoung definitely had a praise kink. “Yes yes, you did very well.”
Jaeyoung gave a pleased smile and slowly inclined his head towards Sangwoo, their lips met in a kiss.
“I can get my reward now can’t I?” Jaeyoung said when they finally broke from the kiss, both slightly gasping for breath.
“What reward?” Sangwoo asked, his head tilting to one side, face still flushed.
“Sangwoo ah, two week ago, you said if we finished the game on schedule, you’d give me a reward. You’re not going to pretend it didn’t happen did you?”
“Well…” If Sangwoo was honest, he had been hyper focussed on the game for the past two week and everything else was sort of a blur. His brain was just efficient in dumping unnecessary information, but he was sure if he said that out loud, his boyfriend would sulk forever. He supposed there was no harm in giving a reward, he knew that Jaeyoung had put a lot into the game for his sake.
“If the request is reasonable.”
Jaeyoung grinned at him again, his eyes turning to crescents, “It’s reasonable, very reasonable.”
He suddenly got up and as their hands were still clasped together, Sangwoo had to get up along with him.
“Let’s go for a celebratory date.”
“Huh?”
“Let’s go out to celebrate!”
“What now?”
“Sure, it’s only 9pm. I know the perfect place!”
“Shouldn’t we shower first?” They'd been sitting in front of the computer for at least the past 12 hours, surviving on blackholic (at least Sangwoo had) and spicy cup ramyun.
“Shower?” Jaeyoung’s eyes seemed to light up. He pulled Sangwoo closer and lowered his voice, “Hmm a shower might be good.”
Sangwoo suddenly remembered the last time when somehow Jaeyoung had managed to persuade him that they should shower together, his ears started turning red.
“On second thoughts, it’s okay, we can just go.”
“Sangwoo-ah, what are you thinking of?” the taller man raised an eyebrow and smirked at him.
Sangwoo pushed him away, embarrassed. “Nothing. So where is this perfect place?”
