Shinsou stared at Bakugou with anger clear in his eyes.The two have been fighting non stop over the stupidest thing, at least to Shinsou it was stupid, and soon one of them was going to say or do something that they would regret. Knowing the two, it would be Bakugou too seeing as he has major anger issues.
“Bakugou, would you just listen to me for once?!” Shinsou asked, irritated and really tired of fighting.
“I do listen!” Bakugou scoffed.
“No, you don’t! You never listen when any of us speak! All you do is yell and scream. You never listen.”
“Say that again and you’ll regret it.” Bakugou growled.
Shinsou rolled his eyes. “This is what I’m talking about! You never listen! And you just scream and yell!”
Bakugou growled before lifting his arm and letting an explosion loose, fully expecting Shinsou to dodge. Shinsou’s eyes widened and he tried to get out of the way in time, but was unable to completely, leaving a pretty big burn on his arm.
Shinsou hissed as he looked at his arm, trying not to touch it as he examined it.
“I…. I was expecting you to dodge….”
“Yeah? And I wasn’t expecting you to try to blow me up.” Shinsou snapped, making Bakugou jerk back. He had never heard the other boy lose his temper like that before. Bakugou shuffled guiltily as he stared at Shinsou.
“I… I’m sorry.”
Shinsou looked at the other in surprise, not expecting him to actually apologize. He must feel really bad about this. Despite what everyone thinks, Bakugou doesn’t actually want to hurt anyone and he had seriously gotten better than how he used to be.
“Look, it was an accident, okay. No big deal.”
“No big deal? Your arm has a burn on it! That is a big deal.”
“And you apologized so it’s fine, alright? We’re good. No need to worry or get upset.”
“But-”
“No Bakugou. It’s fine.”
“Fine. But I’m going to clean it and wrap it up, got it?”
“If it stops you from blaming yourself, fine.” Shinsou rolled his eyes, sighing. The two boys walked to the bathroom together and Shinsou hopped up onto the counter as Bakugou got out the first aid kit. He took out the stuff he needed before going to Shinsou’s side and gently grabbing the other’s arm and examining it. He then turned on the water beside the boy and gently cleaned it, with the other hissing as he did. Once the burn was cleaned, he grabbed the ointment for burns. “This is gonna suck.” Shinsou commented as he looked at the ointment with distaste.
“It’ll be quick. It’s gonna help heal the burn.” Bakugou said as he gave a look to Shinsou. “Ready?”
“As I’ll ever be.”
Bakugou smirked before putting the ointment on Shinsou’s arm as gently as he could. He tried to ignore his own pain when Shinsou dug his nails into Bakugou’s shoulder, having grabbed it to brace himself.
“Alright, that’s done. Now we just need to wrap then we’re done.”
Shinsou just nodded and Bakugou placed a gauze pad over the burn and kept it there with some medical tape. Once done, Shinsou jumped off the counter as Bakugou cleaned up. Then the two went out and decided to join the rest of their class. Once they got there, Shinsou noticed Aizawa look at his arm before raising an eyebrow at him.
“It’s nothing. Just an accident.” He said, sharing a look with Bakugou who still looked a bit guilty.
“Alright.”
Shinsou nodded at his dad before sitting on the couch next to Bakugou. Bakugou looked at him before looking away, and Shinsou sighed in annoyance. He then grabbed Bakugou’s hand and pulled him up and into the kitchen.
“Oooh Bakugou’s in trouble.” Denki teased as he saw Shinsou pulling Bakugou, annoyance on the taller boy’s face.
“Shut it dunce face.”
Shinsou just gave a look to Denki making the boy raise his hands in surrender before he left the kitchen. Shinsou then turned to face Bakugou who didn’t hide the guilty look on his face as he stared at the boy’s arm.
Shinsou huffed before grabbing Bakugou’s face.
“Listen to me Bakugou. It was an accident. I am fine, you didn’t mean to. Everything is going to be fine. This will heal and everything will be back to normal. Soon we’ll forget about it and argue again. Couples argue, it’s how they strengthen the relationship. If we didn’t argue, I would be pretty worried.”
Bakugou chuckled before looking Shinsou in the eyes.
“I swear…. I will try to get control of my anger. I don’t want to hurt you. I don't wanna be that guy anymore.”
“You won’t be. We’ll get through this. Together.”
Bakugou nodded before pulling Shinsou down for a kiss. The other boy happily obliged.
“Together.”
