Work Text:
He kicked his bag under the desk and fell onto his bed with a growl. The first instinct was to call
Viktor. Not because he knew Viktor was free tonight. He surely wasn't. That man had a way of
keeping himself busy all the time.
No. Jayce needed to call him because right now he was freaking out, and it was his partner who had
the well appreciated quality of calming him down with simple words; sometimes even listening to
him was enough. Staring into those gentle, golden eyes while face timing, it was beyond any
medication Jayce could take against his anxiety attacks.
His screen lit up with Viktor's smile. His favourite picture he secretly took of him. If Viktor knew, he
would scold him for it but mostly laugh at him, and Jayce would regret not taking another picture of
that beautiful laugh Viktor was hiding so often.
The sound of his phone playing the familiar ringing melody was everything echoing through the
room apart from Jayce's screaming thoughts and furious heartbeat.
"Hello?"
The edge of a short forehead and wild strands of dark hair replaced the neat image of his partner.
"What are you—? Hey, Vik! I wanted to— Could you stop filming your forehead?" Jayce started,
irritated.
"Sorry." The camera shifted and rattled until it was neatly placed on the nightstand Jayce knew
stood next to the bed Viktor was already lying on. His fair skin and gentle face came into focus with
his eyes fixed on the image of his lab partner.
"What is the matter? I thought you were preparing for this week's finals."
Ah, yes. Right into the wound.
"I am. I… am," Jayce spat out, less addressing Viktor but the void surrounding them. "It is just— I've
been working on my project the whole week, and they said it can take about 40 hours; that's normal.
That's good. But I'm pretty sure I put in about 60 now, not even counting in the planning I did in my
head and the preps, and it's only Thursday. I have so much more to prepare, and there is this speech
I'm supposed to hold tomorrow noon for our class, and—"
"Jayce." Viktor's voice softly cut through the nagging thoughts, firm and dark and sharp on the
edges. There was always something special to how he pronounced it, making the S-sound echo just
so slightly.
"When was the last time you've gotten a good night's sleep?"
That question silenced him without a doubt. This was nothing he considered important at the
moment. How could he when his brain spun over with duties and plans?
"It's been some time…" Jayce sheepishly admitted.
He watched as Viktor stretched his lips into a knowing smile, watched him stand up, walking out of
the frame, and he listened to the soft ramblings somewhere in the back of Viktor's dorm. Patiently,
he waited and waited for him to get whatever occupied his mind after that confession. The slender
frame of Viktor came back into vision, so Jayce sat up straight, curious for what his partner had in
mind now.
Lying back down, his face gently placed on his hand supported by a pillow, Viktor smiled at him. "Lie
down, do it after me." Jayce did as he was told. He had trust in Viktor's competence. Years of shared
comfort and working alongside the skilled man had shown him he was safe to do so.
Lying on his back, his head supported by one of his fluffy pillows, he held his phone above his chest,
eyes fixed on the Zaunite.
"I will try something on you that will calm you down and hopefully give you the needed peace to rest
a bit." Viktor's voice was very low, barely more than a whisper now, but still strong enough to
radiate the pleasant vibrations of his bass.
Jayce nodded, and yet he wondered. What could he possibly have in mind? He came here for a talk.
Would Viktor talk him to sleep now? Like, read him a story? His current position made him doubt
that.
"You see this?" Viktor held a long dark brush – like one of those painters use, but fancier – giving the
camera a fast, gentle stroke.
"What are you planning to do with that? Why do you own that?"
"Shhh…" The slow, soothing sound of his whisper sent a tingle down Jayce's spine, and the brush
stroked past the camera once again. That feeling— It was… good?
"I will try something I did with my siblings when they were younger. Like really small. But don't
worry; this has nothing to do with age."
Jayce wanted to ask. Ask what crazy stuff he would use on him that was usually performed on small
children and how it would take the stress off his shoulders. But he knew better than to question
Viktor. That man knew what was best for him.
"I will occasionally cover the lens with this." He brushed over his camera again, turning the screen
dark. "It’s just like covering your eyes. A good way to get you all sleepy and tell the body to rest. It
works on infants, but surely also on anyone else. You want to give it a try?" With his voice so
soothingly low and his tongue producing these electrifying clicking noises, the suggestion sparked
something in the back of Jayce's head. A buzzing sensation he couldn't quite grasp.
"Ok," he breathed out.
Viktor smiled softly before his long digits closed in on Jayce's face. At least it felt like that. "Good…
Now please get comfortable." Blurry fingers brushed over the lens just for Viktor's face to come into
focus again. He looked beautiful – his high cheekbones and long nose and chin were something Jayce
could get drunk on. How was it possible that he looked so good so effortlessly? He could look at him
for hours like that.
His pale hand covered the camera, gentle and slow. "If you want, I can run through a little checklist."
A list? Gosh, not more things to think about. Didn't he already have enough points to check off his
list?
The soft smile on Viktor's lips and the slow strokes of his fingers over his face pushed those thoughts
aside. All he could focus on was him and him and—
"So, make sure" – black, until his face resurfaced – "your phone is plugged in."
It wasn't. But Jayce barely cared right now. He wanted to keep listening to Viktor and felt his muscles
go pleasantly heavy.
A rustle of fingers, skin on skin, as Viktor raised his hand at a steady pace once more. The sound of it
sending a tingling sensation down the back of Jayce's head.
"Make sure" – black, and there he was again – "your alarm is set."
He did that yesterday already. He did that. Good.
Fluttering fingers tingled his senses, then black again.
"Make sure you've taken any medication you need to take."
The clicking sounds of his voice felt intense and satisfying on his scalp. Then, Viktor's face
reappeared, beautiful, with heavy lids falling over golden eyes.
"Sent any messages that you needed to send."
Did he? He wasn't sure. Did he send his TA the form they had asked for? Yes. He figured he did.
Viktor still smiled at him fondly, his voice not more than a rumble. "Take time to get comfortable,"
he said as fingers brushed over Jayce's heavy eyes.
"If there's anything bothering you" – something bigger, longer, came into view, and Jayce watched
the large, black brush covering the screen in a slow motion – "you can change it now."
Jayce considered for a moment, but found that he was perfectly fine with Viktor on his chest, his
deep eyes staring right through him whenever the dark brush uncovered his vision. Soft scratching
tingled in his ears with every stroke of the brush and every click of Viktor's tongue, gentle and low.
"Take a deep breath in…"
Black as they both took in their breath.
"Hold it."
Jayce felt his head feeling just slightly dizzy.
"And out."
With them slowly breathing the air out of their lungs, Viktor came into vision again, the brushing
sound and the soft rustle of his breath being so lovely to Jayce.
"Good."
Black.
"Perfect."
Soft scratching, then there was gold.
"Imagine… the whole world is holding you up."
Black and scratching sounds.
"You don't have to do anything."
"Let yourself be taken care of."
The smile on Viktor's face was something he could drown in. He wished for it to be true. For Viktor
to take good care of him. Which he did. Always. Tingles ran down his spine with every word, and he
wanted this feeling to last forever, wanted to become one with this pleasant sensation and
everything Viktor would give him right now, maybe ever.
The dizzy feeling of sleep taking over was overshadowed by something stronger. With every stroke
of the tickling brush and every soothing word, Jayce felt something in him rising.
"V?" he breathed out, probably as close to a whisper as Viktor used on him.
"Yes, my love?"
My love. That's it. That sent him and made him lose all his restraints.
"Vik, I wish I" – his voice broke a bit as he tried to keep it down – "could hold you now. I miss you."
"I know," Viktor whispered with his hand sliding over the camera.
He felt so close. His voice so near to his ears, like he was lying right there, next to him, breathing into
his tingling neck, running his hands over his relaxed, heavy body. Shame crawled up his spine as he
felt his member growing even harder than it already was through the gentle stimulation of his
senses. He really was too tired to take care of that. But the thought of Viktor being around. Taking
care of him…
"I wish you were here. Spring break is still so far away." He tried to conceal his whine.
"I wish for that time to pass faster too. Seeing you like this, how desperately you try to keep your
eyes open for me, makes me want to wrap you in the biggest hug." Viktor smiled at him, his head
laid to the side as his hand cupped where Jayce's jaw would be.
"Is that a promise?" Jayce asked. Hugs from his partner were rare, but he would lie if they weren't
the best ones he's ever received. Heartfelt and generous, those slender arms would wrap around his
neck or waist, squeezing with a force Jayce didn't think was in that man. It grew into a habit for him
to plant a firm kiss on his forehead, cheek, chest or lips before he would eventually withdraw.
"Yes," came the soft, almost unnoticeable whisper.
Jayce let his head fall back in a soft chuckle, eyes closed. He would lie if it didn't feel incredibly
satisfying to just let them rest, heavy lids softly touching each other like they were always meant to
do. The soft scratching over sensitive material, the ever so present clicking of Viktor's tongue. He
could die like this and wouldn't want to change it for the world. Yet, he was not willing to miss a
single moment with Viktor. Not when he was so far away now and for the next few weeks. No, he
wanted – needed – to indulge in every bit of this man.
It felt like fighting against the odds to pull his eyes open again. Heavy-lidded, golden eyes and softly
parted lips. That was all he could see, drowning in the peace of his partner's soothing gaze. He slowly
started to look sleepy himself as he kept stroking over the screen, a soft smile gracing his features.
"You're still with me? Good. Perfect." Every sound clicked pleasantly in Jayce's ears. "Just enjoy the
cosy feeling. Relax. You're doing great."
It all did terrible things to Jayce's body. As soft as Viktor was with him right now to get him to sleep,
as much was Jayce used to him using words to make him feel good. Viktor was extremely skilled
when it came to expressing his needs and observations in bed. Jayce's body automatically reacted to
it by now. The additional praise didn't help either.
His hand found the aching bulge formed in his briefs, slowly circling the neglected space.
A shaky breath left his lips as soft pleasure took him over.
With a slight frown, Viktor cut himself off for a split second. His eyes searched for the source of the
sudden interruption before he continued to stroke his partner's face. "There is nothing to think
about, nothing to worry about. Just let yourself be taken in by the sound of my voice."
Hands cherished his cheek as Jayce rubbed his throbbing skin under the fabric.
"Slow… Slow… Resting as you listen to my voice. Feel the tingles down your head, your neck, your
shoulders…" A shudder went through his body, and he freed his dick from its cotton prison,
wrapping a gentle hand around it as he started to pump it slowly.
"… Your back… Deeper and deeper, so that your body will be left with a pleasant buzz."
Jayce couldn't help but form a silent "yeah" with his lips, squeezing his cock as he let his senses be
stimulated by Viktor's skilled tongue.
"Does it feel good to let yourself fall? Giving in to the sweet, relaxing feeling of… having nothing to
do?" The smile formed on Viktor's face was bright and soft and giving away all Jayce needed to
know. Pre dripped down to his hand as he slowly worked his cock to Viktor's encouraging words. The
extra friction made his breath hitch. Jayce weakly nodded his head, to Viktor's delight. "Good. Go on.
Embrace the slow building pleasure."
He did. With every fibre in his body did he enjoy his soft words. Big, calloused fingers turned into
slender digits, working him relentlessly, deft and precise.
"How does it feel with your hands all sticky?" The clicking of his tongue echoed as he repeated the
last word; a harsh whisper cutting through the dark. Jayce imagined that tongue running down his
chest, through the soft, neatly trimmed hair leading down to where warm lips would stretch over
the head of his leaking cock, sinking down on it, taking it as deep as they possibly could.
"You're doing so good, Jayce." The praise sent shivers down his spine right into his jumping member.
"So good…You're being such a good boy for letting go."
His pace picked up, more pre leaking down his clenched fist. "Let go… Yeah, let go… You're doing
amazing."
Close to a hiccup, his breath caught up to his pace, the coiling heat in his lower abdomen becoming
unbearably pleasant and needy and overwhelming. His back arched as he pumped his dick through
his crashing orgasm, shamelessly making a mess of his covers. His groans echoed through the dark to
the sound of a pleasant, soft hum.
"There you go. So pretty for me…"
Just now did Jayce notice he had squeezed his eyes shut the whole time. Noticed that it had become
even more difficult to open them now that the heavy sleepiness took him over in no time.
He forced them open, the aftershock of his climax still sensible in his leaking cock. What greeted him
was worth more than a hundred of these orgasms. Viktor, his golden eyes shining in the dim light of
his dorm, smiled fondly through illuminated glass.
"Now go, my love, and take your well-deserved rest. Tomorrow is another day."
A sleepy growl left Jayce's throat as he agreed. "Thank you, V. I love you."
"I love you. Good night."
"Night," Jayce answered, already dozing off into the most restful sleep he had not granted himself in
a long time.
