“Hiro? Huh, Where’s Kisa?”
“She went out with Tohru. Said something about having a ‘girls day’ or whatever.” The small boy grumbled in his arms, glaring out into the distance. “Not that I care…”
The jealousy was practically radiating off of him- so much so Kyo had to laugh. Even after all this time, he’s still not used to sharing Kisa with anyone; not even Tohru. “Still a kid.” He grinned, earning a glare.
“Funny- didn’t you sulk for half a day when Uotari and Hanajima came by for her?” Yuki didn’t look up from his book. “You wouldn’t come out of your room at all.”
“Shut up, you damn rat!” Kyo snapped, cheeks red. “It’s not like you're any better! Since Machi went on that school trip, you act like the world’s ending!” He leaned back and rested his hand against his forehead, dramatically sighing. “‘Oh my dear Machi, when will you come back to me?’”
The book Yuki tossed at him nearly took off his head. Worth it.
Kyo grinned as he watched the red eared boy mumble something rude, relocating on the opened porch with his newly reclaimed book. He liked messing with him, he realized. With this new power unlocked, he turned to Hiro- hoping to get a similar reaction. “You and Kisa. When’s the wedding?”
He had hoped for a blush and sputter, maybe even a whine of complaint. Instead Hiro looked back at him cooly, quirking an eyebrow. “Why? Need something to distract you while you sulk?
Kyo felt his jaw twitch. “I wasn’t sulking!”
“Sure you weren’t.” The younger boy pulled out his phone, tapping at the screen. “On the topic of weddings, are you gonna ask Tohru for her hand?” Seeing Kyo flush, he smirked. “Cat got your tongue?”
“We-I-It’s too early-THAT’S IT, COME HERE!” Kyo raged, leaping forward, just barely missing as Hiro dodged. Soon it was a game of chase, Kyo racing after the sassy child while Hiro leapt out of reach, using nearby furniture to create more distance.
“Oi, don’t destroy the house, we just finished-” Yuki called back to them, cringing as he heard the undeniable crash of something breaking. “Fixing it…”
“Stay still you damn brat!”
“Aww, am I too fast for you, old man Kyo?”
“Okay now you’re just being a sh-”
“Kyo! Don’t call him that!”
“What? That’s what he is, Yuki!”
The chaos continued, only coming to an end when Hiro’s foot caught. Flailing to the ground, he was quickly captured by Kyo, twisted and pinned before he could catch his breath.
“Gotcha!” Kyo cheered, sitting on him and capturing both wrists in one hand, the other posed and ready to go. “I’ll give you five seconds to apologize!”
“Make me!” Hiro retorted, stubborn as always.
“Five.”
“Oo, scary!”
“Four.”
“You know what comes next? You're smarter than you look!”
“Three.”
“Okay seriously let me up.”
“Two.”
“Kyo? What are you doing?”
“Don’t make me say it.” Kyo wiggled his fingers threateningly, grinning as he watched Hiro take in his predicament. “Apologize or face the vicious tickle monster!”
Hiro glared, a blush burning across his cheeks as he weighed his options. For a moment, Kyo was sure he’d give in.
Then he raised his chin and puffed up, sealing his fate. “Do your worst!”
Kyo tsked, shaking his head. “What a shame. And here I thought you’d see reason.”
With that, the redhead attacked, worming his fingers against Hiro’s ribs and making him scream. “Gah! No! No no no no nohohohohohoho! Get ohohoohohoff!” The smaller boy squeaked, arching away.
“I warned you! I told you not to apologize and what would happen! Did you listen? No!” Kyo laughed along with him, moving his hand about to get every spot he could think of. All the while, Hiro was a mess of laughter, squirming and thrashing, trying to pull his arms free while screaming empty threats back at the other. “Hm? What was that? I couldn’t hear you.”
“Iihihihiihihhim goohoohohohonna kiihihihihick yohohoohohohur a-AH! Nohohohohoohohoho!” Hiro’s giggles shot up an octave when Kyo pinched beneath his armpit, tapping away at the upper rib just below before shooting up, giving it a playful scribble.
“Tsk, Language, Hiro! Kisa would be horrified at your potty mouth!” The hypocrisy of that statement wasn’t missed, but Kyo was enjoying himself too much to care. He alternated between scribbling Hiro’s ribs and poking gently at his armpits, jumping between each side randomly. “We should take care of that before she gets back.”
“STahahahahhhahahap! Kehehehehehehhheyo! I hahahahahhahahhate ihiihihihihihit!” Hiro wheezed, cheeks bright red with mirth as he threw his head back. His smile contradicted his words, the effect so genuinely happy the cat was positive he was having fun.
“Sure I’ll stop. AFTER you apologize!” Kyo nodded.
“Ahehahahhahhaha! EHehhehehe! Y-Yuhuhuuhuhuhki hehehehehehlp mehehehehehehe!” Hiro cried out, gaining the attention of the quiet boy in the background. The rat had put aside his book at some point to watch the scene, amusement dancing in those violet gray eyes. “Hehheheheheheehe’s gohohohoohohohnna kihihiihihihihll mehehehehhee!”
“Can’t have that happen, can we?” Stretching out his arms, Yuki walked over to the pair, eyes dancing with mischief. “He did ask you to stop, Kyo. Don’t be stubborn.”
“I’m the stubborn one? He’s the one who won't- Aheheahhahahaha! Gah! AHeahhhaha! You dahahhahamn rahahaht! Nohohohoho!” Kyo never finished his sentence, Yuki’s hands were already on his waist, drilling in with deadly precision. Immediately the redhead retracted, falling off of Hiro as he weakly batted at the other’s hands. “Screhehehehehhw yoohohohohohu!”
“Rude. As if you’re in any position to say those things.” Yuki tsked, winking at Hiro as he carried on tickling the other. It wasn’t long before their positions were similar to earlier: Yuki sitting on Kyo’s waist while his hands carried on tickling. “Hiro, why don’t we both show him what happens when someone’s rude?”
“Sounds good!” Hiro snickered, quickly taking a seat on Kyo’s legs, grabbing an ankle. “Let’s!”
“Nohohohoho! Dohoohohon’t you dahah-AHAHHAHAHAHHARE!” Kyo squawked as Hiro scratched along his feet, fingers dancing across socked soles. Meanwhile, Yuki’s hands were targeting his worst spots. One hand rested on his hip while the other vibrated along his belly, sending wave after ticklish wave through him. “FUUHUUHUHUUHUHUHUCK!”
“Language!” Yuki and Hiro scolded at the same time.
“YOHOOHOHU TWO AAHEHHHERE IN SIIHIHIHNC NOOHOHOHOW?” Kyo wheezed, face flushed with mirth as he struggled to escape. No matter how much squirming he did, Yuki had him pinned well. That and with Hiro on his legs, he was subconsciously trying not to send the kid flying. “WHAHHAHAHAT IS HAHAHHAHAPPENING?!”
Yuki snorted, easing up the tickles and gesturing for Hiro to do the same. They waited patiently as Kyo caught his breath, tears of mirth blurring his vision as he threw an arm over his face. “Ahehee…hhehe….yohoohu twoohoho…” He grumbled, trying to glare.
“I think he’s had enough, don’t you agree, Hiro?” Yuki nodded, satisfied.
“Yeah, anymore and he’d be done for.” The two climbed off Kyo’s, watching as he curled up on himself, giggling softly. “Heh, look at you, taken down by a few tickles!” Hiro grinned, kneeling by Kyo’s head and gently poking his brow.
“Shuuhuhhut up! You wehehheren’t any better!” Kyo reached out and ruffled the other’s hair, too tired to be angry. As he slowly composed himself, a sudden thought came to mind, and he found himself looking towards Yuki once more. “Hiro?”
“Hm?”
“You know…there’s three of us, but only two of us got tickled.”
“Yeah…yeah your right.”
Yuki didn’t look back as he overheard the conversation. “Don’t you dare.”
“Do we dare, Hiro?” Kyo grinned.
“Oh we DARE.” Hiro laughed back.

By the time Tohru and Kisa came back, the three were all a breathless mess across the floor, flushed and giggly, too tired to move. “What happened?” Kisa asked, surprise in her voice.
Tohru only giggled, taking the girl with her as they made their way towards the kitchen. “It looks like the boys had fun today. Come on, let’s make some tea.”
