In your defense, you thought Karina Lyle was an interesting person. To most, she had a fairly basic lifestyle. Two loving parents, straight A’s, and an all around unproblematic life. But what really caught your eye was her main side “hobby.”

You are the new transfer student at Sternbild Academy. Well, not yet, but once you get on your feet you will. After the fall of Mikyotso, your home country, and the tragic death of your family, you relocated to the beautifully chaotic city of Sternbild, the home of heroes. Obviously you didn’t know anybody in the city, so here you are, trudging your way through the night with no clue where you are going.
As you were looking for a potential place to stay, you hear a blast coming from behind you & the wind knocked out of you as you’re suddenly hit by a large man in a bloody suit.
Damn. Shiganshina didn’t even get hit this hard,
you think as you quickly begin to lose consciousness.

Wetness. That is all you feel on your cheek as you regain consciousness in a foreign place. It looked like a hospital, but you’re too drowsy to fully decipher it. Feeling two pairs of eyes on you, you slowly turn to see the sources of those stares. A golden retriever and a blonde-haired man.
“Well good morning,” Blondie started. “You’ve been asleep for about a day now. *Shuffle* The doctor said you had a mild concussion, but you should be alright within a few days. *Shuffle* Oh! Forgot to introduce myself. *Crash* My name’s Keith and my little friend’s name here is John. Sooo, what’s your name?”
The room was so quiet you could even hear the crickets breathing. You left. No Hi or Bye. You didn’t even listen to what Keith had to say before you just scurried away. Keith was in shock. He was so used to people being very grateful when he helped them, so this was a new experience. But that’s the least of his worries. He needs to confirm if you’re who he thinks you are (and that you’re ok of course.)
~Outside Hospital~
“Wait up!”
You didn’t even give him the time of day. You don’t even know this man, yet he is so adamant on following you to god knows where.
After a few blocks, Blondie caught up to you.
“Geez, you’re fast.”
“What do you want?”
“I want to know who you are. You have to be fairly new here because you aren’t registered.”
“How do you know I’m not-“
“The lack of medical records,” Keith interjects.
“Right. And since you’re sooo interesting in knowing who I am and my lack of registration, how about you take me to get registered,” you say with a Cheshire like grin on your face.
“Only if you tell me about yourself afterwards.”
You are so gonna milk this man for everything he’s got.
“Deal.”
