Ikjun could swear on his beloved sexy red Gibson that He will never set foot in the library for more than 10 minutes.
The reasons are simple; First, Ikjun doesn’t have a reason to stay for long anyway since he doesn't like to read a book unless it is related to his study. Second, staying in the library for him feels like a jail; the shelves lined up on each floor feel like a bar, and the silence feels like it could kill him soon. The last, also the main one, meeting people who frequently go to the library is totally different from people who only go to parties for their college story; he doesn't like them or doesn't have any intention to get close or even talk with them.
Ikjun knows he shouldn’t put all library-goers in the same shoes. But as a regular customer of the cafeteria beside the library (he visits because they offer good food at reasonable prices), and has a chance to meet people that just come out of the library. He doesn’t like the fact that they blatantly talk badly about him.
And to make it worse, the reason behind every talk is a judgment they make for what Ikjun wears daily (sleeveless/short sleeve shirt and ripped jeans), or what he has on his face and body (4 piercings on his ears, one piercing on his lips, a tattoo on his upper arm, ribs, and back (which he showed it only once in a while when he took off his shirt when he performing or playing)); connect it with how they think Ikjun has low GPA and more likely need more semester to finish his study.
So, for Ikjun, staying for more than 10 minutes means he is dipping himself in a pit of hell.
Hence, when Ikjun's one and only friend who’s library-goers, Ahn Jeongwon, asks him to take the book he needs that Jeongwon has at the library front desk on the fourth floor where he is part-timing, Jeongwon lets Ikjun stand alone on the front of the counter —to be a free public display for solid 15 minutes in order to get the book; He is furious.
Ikjun keeps sending him a text and calling in the hope that Jeongwon will answer as soon as possible, but there is no response. He keeps sighing out loud, facing the glass door while his back leaning toward the wood desk. Ikjun opts to keep his focus on his phone to avoid people’s eyes, to the point he is unaware that someone is standing behind him. Looking at him curiously.
The call startled him and made him turn around faster than the wind. He blinks his eyes when that person looks at him and asks what he is doing there. There is a sense of relief with the thought that someone could finally save him.
After saying what he needs, Ikjun sees how the woman keeps herself busy rumbling through stuff on the table. Her short hair flew around following her movement, making Ikjun rumble through his bag, trying to find the hair tie he used only when he needed to tie his semi-long hair.
Her dark brown eyes sparkled when she found what seemed to be the book he needed and stretched out her shorthand in front of him, “You are, Lee Ikjun, right? Jeongwon left this book with me since he needs to meet his professor. I’m sorry I kept you waiting too long.”
“That’s ok” He takes the book from her and back to stretch his hand to her with hair tie presence, “I see you keep bothered by your hair. Here’s my hair tie.”
Instead of taking it, She lifted her eyebrows, confusion evident on his face, Ikjun bit his inner low lip, starting to regret what he had done, and took his hand slowly. Wanting to run away from the awkwardness in the air.
When Ikjun almost puts his hand back, in one move, she takes it. Smiling at the hair tie before she used it on her hair, “Thank you. No one will come to me and take it back, right?”
“Sorry?”
“It’s your girlfriend’s?”
“No, that’s mine. if anyone wants the hair tie back, that would be me, don’t worry.”
a teasing smile that she keeps on her lips makes him smile back at her –and this is probably the first time he did that to someone he met at the library.
“So you work here with Jeongwon? or be a substitute for him for a while?” Ask him, starting to put his elbow on the counter as he continues the small talk with her. Gone away the awkward air they had earlier.
“I’m also a part-timer here with Jeongwon, but yeah, he leaves me alone now, so I work here by myself in the meantime. Although He said he would be back in forty minutes, I’m not sure anymore.”
Ikjun nods his head, “Is it ok if I accompany you till Jeongwon comes back? I mean, if you prefer alone, I will leave now,” there are stutters at the back because he knows it is insane for him to offer to stay with someone he knows for the first time, in a place where he pleads never to stay more than 10 minutes.
Half of him panicked that she would say yes to his offer, but some of him also wanted her to say yes.
Ikjun doesn’t know either, but there’s something about the woman in front of him that draws his attention.
He almost wants to take back what he said when the silence is prominent, but a second before, he is startled by the fact she agrees and lets him go inside the counter, sit in front of the screen, then ask for some help to write down book information.
And as if enchanted, he complied with her request and even smiled while sitting and doing what she asked.
“You don’t have other activities after this? If I’m not mistaken, Jeongwon said you are in a hurry for a band rehearsal or stuff like that?”
“it’s canceled.”
“Oh, they told you earlier?”
“no. But all of my bandmates are aware that if I don’t show up 15 minutes after our appointment time, that means they can go ba— AWW lady?!” he caressed his upper arm from the sting she left, “Leave then! What if your bandmate is mad at you?”
“don’t worry. They know they can’t do anything without me. That's why they obey what I said”
“Yeah,” She rolls her eyes, lifts only half of his lips, and turns around to look at her book again, “because you are the operator of each instrument, right?”
“I’m sorry, lady; I’m a singer and guitarist,”
“keep saying that as if I’ll believe you.”
“I am—“ Ikjun takes a deep breath. He doesn’t know the first meeting with someone like her could drain his energy,
but he doesn't hate it, “God, I assume you are one of those people who choose your bed over a party on Friday night?”
“thus, your assumption is right.”
“It explains why you didn’t know me.”
“Is anyone obligated to know you?”
Ikjun can’t help but shows her a cocky smile when She looks annoyed by this conversation, “well, not like it is an obligation, but it is given for everyone to know me.”
“but I don’t know you.”
“Now you know me” Ikjun stifles his laugh, obviously liking the fact that he can annoy her.
“damn, I hate you.”
“I know you are not.”
“Yes, I’m. You are so annoying.”
“I know I’m annoying, but you do not hate me.”
“So confident, huh?” one question from her pushed Ikjun to throw his head to the back and laugh while she kept hitting his upper arm, reminder to be quiet since they were still in the library.
“Sorry,” Ikjun wipes the invisible tears below his eyes before he continues, “I can’t believe I only meet you now! Where have you been all along? why do I just know you now?”
“You didn’t go here often or any place near my faculty.”
He nodded his head several times, agreeing with her statement. She stops him from asking right before he opens his mouth, completely closing the chance to know her more.
And Ikjun opted to continue what he did earlier. Start to write down what book she tells him while starting to question what he did here.
Then a sound from over his head distracts him from what he does. They lift their heads and find Jeongwon furrowing his eyebrows as he is confused why Ikjun is still there.
Knowing the furrows on Jeongwon means he must leave as soon as possible. So, he stands up, takes his bag, and says goodbye before leaving the room. Right in front of the door, Ikjun halted his step. Turning around only to get another confused look from two people in front of him, “Can I know your name?”
“Jeongwon”
Ikjun rolled his eyes, annoyed, “not you, Jackass.”
“oh,” Jeongwon nudging her shoulder, the twitch on the tip of his lip showing how he tried to hold back his laughter, “He asked you.”
“why did you need my name?”
Ikjun lifts his shoulder, “so it’s convenient to greet you later.”
“Acceptable,” her lips turn upward, giving him a smile that Ikjun has never seen before, “Songhwa. It’s Chae Songhwa. Nice to meet you.”
—
“Hi” a curious eye met Ikjun dark brown eyes before she rolled her eyes and went back to read a list of books she needed to put back.
“Seems like you are not welcoming me?”
“Why should I when you visit seven days straight, only to bother me here?”
Ikjun throws his head back while stifling his laughter so people won't complain. He looks over Songhwa who only side-eye-ing him, with a teasing smile before he takes over the trolley with books that she needs to put back.
Songhwa let what Ikjun did and continued walking in front of him. For once in a while, she stops only to put the book that Ikjun gives, then keeps walking while nagging at how Ikjun always tries to tease her.
Don’t even start to ask what’s wrong with Ikjun, because he doesn’t even know why it’s been a week, but he keeps coming and stays for more than 10 minutes in a place where he pledges never to stay more than 10 minutes.
It’s not like he changes his opinion about the library. For him, it still feels like a jail, where people are free to come or leave. He still hasn't developed an interest in reading a book. And he still thinks that library-goers are annoying as hell.
He doesn’t even have a valid reason to come (except the next day after Ikjun borrowed the book because He needed to give it back to Jeongwon). He came as if his feet dragged him, even before his mind processed where he went. There’s something about the library that lures him to come back again and again.
“Don’t you have a band practice?” Ikjun furrows his eyebrows and tilts his head to look at Songhwa’s side closely.
“How did you know I have band practice?”
Songhwa halted her steps and turned to see his eyes, “You had it last week, so I assumed it was like a week appointment for you and your bandmates.”
Ikjun can’t stop Himself not to make his lips turn upwards. He takes a few steps to get closer to Songhwa, “You remember it? Interested much with me, huh?”
“In your dream, jackass.” She hit him with a book before continuing to walk, “I have a great memory, unlike you.”
“Bold of you to say I have bad memories.”
“If not, you didn’t miss the last band practice.”
“I’m not forgetting. I just decided not to come, that's it.”
“Why?”
The stretch on Ikjun’s lips gets wider. He opens his mouth to answer the question, but a call on his name makes Ikjun turn around to look at where the voice is.
Both of Ikjun’s eyebrows almost merge into one as He is trying to remember who is the woman in front of him. And in the middle of his confusion, fortunately, she introduces herself with an amusing smile, which makes Ikjun raise his eyebrows while nodding his head. He does not exactly remember her name, but he thinks he can recall the name.
“It’s understandable tho if you didn’t remember me. We met two weeks ago at Junghan’s party. And I think you are pretty drunk to remember who you met there, right?”
Ikjun lifted one side of his lip, now remembering who she was; one of that women who was trying to flirt with him, but he didn’t remember since she didn’t leave any impression on him, “Yeah, Sorry for that.”
“No problem. By the way, what are you doing here?” There’s a slight mocking in her tone. Make him predict where it will lead, and he is sick of it.
“Helping my friend here.”
“You?”
“Well,” Ikjun lifted his shoulder, “why not?”
She shakes his head in disbelief, “right,” She steps forward to get closer to him, “I just can’t believe you are here. This place doesn’t fit you, you know?”
“I can visit wherever I want,” Unconsciously, he clenches his fist annoyed.
“Yes, you can. But the sight of you in here doesn’t fit you well. You know the image of someone who studies or hangs out in the library doesn’t match yours. you look more like a thug, party goers, or whatever you name it. Well, I know you don’t even read or study here. Why bother to come in?”
“So old-fashioned.” The voice behind Ikjun caused him to snap and turn around to look at Songhwa who he forgot existed. He can feel his face start to get hot out of embarrassment.
“Sorry?” Once again, Ikjun sees his left before looking at Songhwa again, “It’s 2022, but you're still so old-fashioned.” Ikjun can’t help but bite his lower lips, holding his laughter at the jab that Songhwa let out.
“Don’t you know a library is a public place where people are free to visit or leave whenever they want? There are no rules for how they dress or what they need to do. So for them to only visit with their shirt and shorts, that's ok. You don’t have any right to judge whether someone is fit or not here. They can do whatever the hell they want.”
Ikjun looks to his left. There’s a hint of red on her face which Ikjun ignores. then looking to the right and pursing his lips because he can see Songhwa’s furious face. Before the condition worsens, someone might chase them away for making a fuss in the library. Ikjun opted to ask to leave even before she replied as he didn’t even want to spend his energy on her anymore, and slightly pushed Songhwa with his left hand while his right hand moved the trolley forward.
They continue what they are doing with Songwha still grumbling about how annoying someone she just met and she hates people who judge without knowing the truth. Meanwhile, Ikjun keeps his silence along with their last set of books, only listening to her grumbles until the last book they need to put back.
There was no conversation, even when they went back to the counter to make their last report, even when Jeongwon came to take over, and even when Songhwa could leave as she finished her shift. Ikjun, who is usually so passionate about talking with her, lets silence engulf them and Songhwa doesn't even ask what happened and just lets Ikjun follow her until they arrive on the first floor.
It is not like Ikjun doesn’t know what to talk about in between their silence, But he finds himself embarrassed. Tell him old-fashioned, but the way Songhwa defend him somehow hurt his pride.
But Ikjun knows he can’t get mad at her because Ikjun is grateful enough. After all, he knows if he defends himself, There’s no guarantee he doesn’t end up using his fist because of how furious he is.
“I don’t bring my umbrella” Ikjun woke up from his reverie, looking to his right, then at the sky that poured rain this evening.
It’s not that harsh, but they are sure they can’t return without getting wet.
He takes off his letter jacket and puts it on her shoulder when he sees her shivers due to the thin white blouse she wears
They stand in front of the lobby from side to side and decide to wait until the rain stops.
Ikjun always likes when he has time to stand still and look at the rain. He feels serene whenever he listens to the sound that rain makes. Then somehow, knowing that Songhwa is beside him now, at the moment that he likes the most. It makes Ikjun can’t describe what he feels anymore, but he certainly likes the feeling.
Too focused on his daydream while looking at the sky, Ikjun doesn’t even realize that Songhwa is now taking two-step to stand behind him. With all her energy she has, She pushes him hard to the point Ikjun stumbles and stands under the rain for quite a long time in disbelief. Causing all of him to get damp.
“Seriously?!” Ikjun ran to get back to standing under the rooftop
“Stop frowning! you look ugly, you know?”
“What is the correlation between me frowning, then getting me wet?! and I’m not ugly!”
“You are ugly! You need to get wet so that frown is gone!”
“I can’t believe you gave me that excuse!” Songhwa laughed her heart out. She tilted her head and smiled. Mocking at how wet Ikjun is now.
Without further ado, Ikjun takes her wrist and pulls her to stand under the rain, which makes her gasp and look at him in disbelief.
Ikjun doesn’t even care about others who look weird at them, he just keeps his lips lifted and starts to pull her to run even though the rain keeps pouring.
They keep running and running, glad that Songhwa follows him well, then giggling in between since they find the situation too funny for them; Two semi-adult who just love getting wet under the rain.
Now he is starting to get the idea why he keeps visiting the library and ignores every party invitation and band practice he has that week. It is not about something that makes him find comfort in the library. It is about someone that makes him comfortable and willing to break his swear. and it’s all about Songhwa.
He can’t deny that Songhwa piques his interest even from their first meeting. He likes the fact that there is no judgment she gives toward him even until now. He also likes when they talk easily and connect seamlessly, and Ikjun likes the fact that Songhwa gives him a smile he has never seen before. A smile that is hard to describe, and he secretly wishes Songhwa would only show it to him. A secret wish from their first meeting that he knows is insane.
Ikjun keeps looking at Songhwa’s side profile even until they arrive in the dorm lobby where songhwa lives. Their body, shirt, and bag are wet, but they don’t care anymore.
Their eyes finally meet with a laugh that starts to disappear, but not a smile that still stays on their lips, “Thank you for defending me and making me better now” She nods, keeping the smile that he finally sees again after their first meeting. A kind of smile that could make you drown in sweetness.
Ikjun can’t even tell himself to stop staring into her eyes and makes an excuse to leave. Everything about her looks so fine in his eyes now. The short hair that is wet but perfectly figures her face, the dark brown eyes that look so pretty to her, the high nose, and small lips… that somehow turns into a temptation to stop himself before he meets his lips with her.
He almost took a step backward to leave before it got worse but was quickly taken back when She took steps closer. Locking his eyes before whispering something that he is sure that only he can hear, “Isn’t this a perfect time for you to kiss me?”
Ikjun can see how serious she is now, which makes Ikjun want to give up on the temptation so badly, “Are you sure?” Ask him in the low tone that he never expected to have it.
Without further ado, Songhwa tiptoed and let her lips meet Ikjun’s for quite a long time.
Ikjun puts his left hand on the back of her head and gets her waist to pull her closer while both of her hands are on his waist. He takes her lower lips and keeps nipping them tenderly. Trying to find the dominant, as if this is the only chance they have in the world.
They kept going and going until the lightning struck and separated them from surprise. They are trying to catch their breath with their forehead touching each other. He looks into her eyes, smiling before he gives her another peck on her lips.
“You are unbelievable, Chae Songhwa”
—
Ikjun let his lips off of her and looked at her eyes before giving another peck and letting her hand off of her waist.
When people say that one kiss will lead to another, Ikjun needs to agree with them. They can’t stop themself from keeping their lips met, even when they are just standing next to each other.
At least they have a conscience and try to find an empty and secluded place before kissing each other's lips.
“Let’s go before Jeongwon probes us like what he did before” Songhwa laughs and leads the way to the fourth floor from the yard in the back building.
Over a month of his constant visit to the library. No one even questioned anymore about why he was there and on top of that, with Songhwa —the part-time librarian, beside him. it was like a given for them to be there next to each other, even the head of the librarian not asking why he was always there on every Songhwa’s shift. Instead, he offered Ikjun part-time-ing, which of course, he refused.
Ikjun may not be there to read any book. Nevertheless, he enjoys every visit. It becomes routine for him; to wait for songhwa’s shift while watching some film or variety, do his assignment, or talk with Songhwa in the lowest voice they can. Then before he takes her back to the dorm, they will go out to eat or drink a coffee.
“Where have you been?” Ask Jeongwon with furrowed eyebrows, making Ikjun roll his eyes, “none of your business” he told him before taking a seat in between Jeongwon and Songhwa.
Ikjun starts to play with his phone, ignoring Jeongwon who he knows from his peripheral eyes still looking at him curiously while Songhwa is smiling as if nothing happened between them.
When Ikjun thinks that Jeongwon stopped with his agenda to find out what happened between Songhwa and him, it turns out he isn’t. He may turn around to look at the screen, but Jeongwon throws something that makes Ikjun frozen in his seat, “There’s lipstick on your lips, Ikjun”
Ikjun opens his camera and is relieved that it isn’t the case, but he knows his face turns red from embarrassment. He looks at Songhwa for help, but she just gives him rolled eyes for being too innocent.
“Tidy up yourself first, before you come back from making out, you Idiot. I almost lost my shit here when I saw both of you return with ruined hair and lips.” Songhwa, being the ruthless girl she is, smacks the back of Jeongwon's head, making him complain, while Ikjun stifles his laughter.
“If you know then tone down you Idiot! Do you want anyone to know what we have done, huh? Moreover, we tidy up before coming back here; there’s no way we left some mark and let anyone gossip about us!”
“Girl,” Jeongwon leaned closer to both of us and lowered his voice, “even when I don't speak out loud, anyone already talks behind your back! You are late worrying about it now.”
“Whatever. Let them talk whatever they want” Songhwa stops the conversation before it gets worse and worse, and Ikjun only shakes his head in disbelief.
He almost returns to do the assignment when a name comes out of his phone. He then excused himself before taking the call to a more secluded place.
“Songhwa-ya, do you want to join me for band practice later?” Ask Ikjun after he goes back from taking the call.
“When?”
“After your shift. One of my bandmates said that we have a gig next week, Hence he called me to come to rehearsal today.”
Songhwa pursed her lips as she thought about whether to follow him or come back home and do the laundry she hadn’t done for weeks. She looked at him, who didn’t show any desperation or need for her to come, but she knew deep down Ikjun wanted her to come.
Then after 30 seconds of thinking, She finally nodded and said yes, then went back to her screen to do the task she needed to finish today.
From her peripheral eyes, Songhwa can see Ikjun's lips turn up as she agrees to join him, making her smile.
It’s a lie to say she didn’t know him because who doesn’t know when people keep talking about him?
At first, before she met Ikjun, Songhwa didn't want to involve herself with him. She somehow believes what people say about how he is a womanizer and party-goer is true. Therefore, she forbids herself from getting closer to him.
But it all changes after they finally meet. People may not believe her, but she can feel the invisible string between them that makes Songhwa keep wanting to get closer to Ikjun. It initially scared her how it was easy for them to get close. Yet that feeling quickly disappears, changing into a blessing that she can know him more.
Ikjun, whom she at least knows looks strong from the outside, but he is indeed a softie from the inside. He is very considerate, knows how to treat women better, is a good listener, is kind, and loves to smile even at minor things, which attracts her the most.
Thus, despite how busy she is, Songhwa doesn’t want to let go of the chance to look at him closer. She wants to know each of his sides, each of his layers so that She can know him better.
So after 2 hours left of her shift, She takes the bag from the cabinet behind her, says goodbye to Jeongwon, and leaves with Ikjun to the studio near the university.
There’s a slight fear inside her before she meets his friend. Not because they are scary —which She believes they aren’t, but because she is afraid that they would blame her for taking the guitarist and vocalist of the group and making him often come to the rehearsal.
But fortunately, her concern means nothing when the rest of the three welcome her. They also let her sit in front of them and make her audience of their rehearsal.
Songhwa can’t let her eyes off of Ikjun. The way he skillfully plays his guitar, his honey voice, and how his eyes always find her in any way with a smile that she likes somehow make her insides turn upside down.
Songhwa likes every part of him that looks like he only shows it to her. Making her special in a way that only she can understand.
And their eyes locked until three songs he sings, then they finally avert it when the bassist of the group, Iksun (who is also Ikjun cousin) comes and pulls her to show her some bassist trick in the corner of the room, quite far from everyone in the room.
From the side, Ikjun can’t help but keep watching Iksun and Songhwa playing and chuckles at every little thing when they talk.
Not without reason, he watches them with a smile on his face. Iksun is one of his closest cousins that he loves the most and knowing that she can get close to Songhwa is one of the happiest things for him, knowing that Iksun never welcomes each of the women he brings to the rehearsal.
Ikjun was startled when his friend, Junwan, hit his shoulder lightly. He smiles when Junwan sits beside him and starts to watch Iksun (his girlfriend) and Songhwa still laughing from whatever talk they did, “So she is the one that makes us rarely done our rehearsal these days?”
Ikjun looks at Junwan, He knows Junwan doesn’t mean bad, but he still feels sorry for them, “Sorry.”
“That's Ok,” They let the silence between them before Junwan asks something that makes Ikjun smile, “It’s the first time isn’t it?”
Ikjun moves his head up and down, agreeing with Junwan’s question, “How’s her?” He let the stretch of his lips get wider than before
“She is… Kind”
“And then?”
“She is funny, sweet, considerate, attentive, and lovely. She is perfect in a way that only I can see. Songhwa is… someone that I’ve tried to find all along.”
“You finally found her?”
“Yes,” Ikjun moves his head up and down, quietly saying something he said to himself, “I found her.”
Junwan looks at Ikjun with an amusing smile. Having known Ikjun since Junior high school, Junwan knows that Ikjun may look like getting closer from one woman to another, but he is trying to find someone that could complete him. Someone who he can let his mask away, a person who he finally let his heart fall for. And Junwan knows that when he is serious, Ikjun will be very serious with his feelings. So despite him letting his heart fall slowly, he knows his heart is finding the right person.
So when Junwan heard what he wanted to hear from Ikjun, He knew he was serious; he had finally found someone he wanted to commit with. Junwan looked at Ikjun who kept smiling at her with doe eyes that gave so much feeling in his stare for her and left the final question that he was curious about the answer.
“And you love her, don't you?”
Ikjun turns around to see Junwan, and from how his eyes look at him, Junwan knows the answer. It’s clear as the sky, and only some idiot who can’t see the answer in his eyes, and that’s definitely not Junwan because he knows even without Ikjun saying anything.
—
After they decided to end the rehearsal. Ikjun walks Songhwa home. They don’t know why but there’s a shift of tension between them that they can’t describe.
Especially to Ikjun, who is just baring his heart toward his friend, Kim Junwan.
Ikjun knows, that whenever he tries to hide his feelings from Junwan, Junwan could find a way to know his feelings toward someone. Ikjun can’t hide it, and he doesn’t have an intention to hide it from anyone. He wants everyone to know his feelings are true toward the amazing woman beside her.
He also wants to let her know his feelings, but he is clueless about how to say them. All along, It’s always the girls that are giving him the confession, and it’s up to him to say yes or no (which he always says no, actually). This will be Ikjun’s first experience confessing, and he doesn’t know what to do.
“Thank you for today. I have so much fun, Ikjun-ah” She said it right after they arrived in her dorm.
He can only smile and nod. Glad that she has so much fun yet doesn’t want it to end the day like this. He wants to tell her so badly, but he doesn’t know what to say or to do.
And that makes them stand in the cold night in front of the dorm for quite a long time. Ikjun doesn’t know why Songhwa didn’t ask him to leave, as if she was also waiting for what he wanted to say in front of her.
“If you don’t know what to say,” All of sudden, she circles her hand on his waist. Making them stand closer than ever. Their eyes locked, with Ikjun was taken back by what she was doing while Songhwa tried to find something in his eyes, “Then kissed me, and try to find the answer in it.”
Her low tone caused the hair on his nape to stand, and He shivered from how she spoke near his ears.
Another moment of silence where He finds out if what Songhwa said is true or not through his eyes, then another moment later, their lips finally collide.
They tell every feeling they have through every kiss they do. It was soft yet deep which took their breath away.
20 minutes later, with every last patient and brain cell, they ended up in Ikjun’s bed.
Clothing off from their body, leaving them with nothing but marks that each other gives on their body. Sitting on his lap at his bed, feeling the bulges that once in a while he grinds into her sex. Makes her more aroused than ever.
A moan and whimper keep coming from her lips. Especially with how he takes over every sensitive part she has. She can’t help but put her head on the crook of his neck when the left hand that he used to caress her nipples goes south and rubs a circle while pushing harder her clit.
It is not the first time Songhwa has done this. She never did this with her ex. But Songhwa can’t lie that Ikjun does great work on her body. Songhwa feels like her head is light and she is on cloud nine.
It feels amazing, and she doesn’t want it to stop tonight.
Ikjun turned their body and caged her. Their eyes meet while Ikjun caresses her head before He kisses her back. From her lips, Ikjun keeps going down to the crook of her neck, leaving a mark that he knows will be hard to disappear. Then going to her breast, sucking both of her nipples before going south and kissing her inner thigh and ending up flicking her clits with his tongue and sucking it hard.
Songhwa can’t stay still when Ikjun gives her head which blows her mind. She keeps moaning and calling Ikjun names as if it is the last time he can call his name.
Her mind went blank, even when Ikjun told her to keep calling his name the moment he knew she wanted to let the tightness on her lower stomach. Even when she wet his hand and bed cover and saw how he kept sucking her juices and riding out her bliss.
“Fill me up Ikjun. Please fill me until I forget my names,” begged her when he came back on top of her after putting the rubbers that he always has in his wallet.
Without further ado, Ikjun let the tip of his shaft touch her entrance and then slowly put it in. A high moan he let go as her tight cunt throbbed and massaged his length.
He bites his lower lips, feeling blessed with how his length is buried inside her.
Ikjun takes her lips again, feeling every nipping while waiting for her to give him a sign to move.
A moment later, she moves first which makes Ikjun start thrusting his hip slowly. Letting out other groans every time his cock buried deep inside her.
Each thrust he did was slow yet deep, making Songhwa keep moaning and calling his name.
And Ikjun keeps doing it repeatedly because he loves it whenever she calls him. As if he is addicted to how she let his name out of his lips.
“Be a good girl, and keep calling me, Baby. You can do it, right?” ask him, which she answers by nodding her head since her mind is occupied by how good every time he takes half of his shaft and push it harder.
A high groan suddenly left their mouth when Ikjun could feel how she clenched his dick hard, knowing that his thrust hit the right spot. Ikjun kept doing it repeatedly until he finally picked up his pace, thrusting as fast as he could, especially after he heard how loud her moan was.
They called each other names when they knew they were getting closer to orgasm. He drags the hand that keeps caressing her nipples down to her clit. Rubbing it with circle movement makes Songhwa's eyes roll back in her head and squirm out of pure bliss. He keeps sucking her breast harder, turning Songhwa into a mess of pleasure.
“Open your eyes and look at me, Songhwa. I know you are —fucked, getting closed, so do I.”
Obey to his request, Songhwa tried to open his heavy eyes. Pressure rides low and threads through her core. Knitting her so tightly that she can’t even think or breathe. With a few thrusts, he does. She holds him tighter and lets the orgasm take her mind and soul. The juice that keeps coming makes his trust messy until he finally lets his orgasm out of his body with loud groans that may wake up people who live beside his apartment.
Ikjun takes her lips and kisses her again, slowly, still buried deep inside her. Until he thinks that it is ok to let go.
A low groan left his mouth when he took his length from her. he left a few pecks on her forehead, eyes, nose, cheek, and lips before looking into her eyes again.
He smiles, then takes a small wet towel to his bathroom to wipe her up. Cleaning between her thighs and her lower stomach, he put his shirt on her before he put his brief back.
Ikjun pulled Songhwa into his embrace, and She immediately buried her head on his chest and circled her hand on his waist. He smiles, then strokes her hair to put her to sleep.
Songhwa suddenly pulled her body away without letting go of the embrace. She creates the space where she can look up to Him.
They let the comfortable silence engulf them before she takes him into another soft kiss to tell him the unspoken feeling she has.
A few moments later, when they can’t breathe again, Their eyes meet.
Ikjun never felt so blessed to meet someone like her. He realizes it is not only recently, but the moment their eyes met in the library a month ago is the moment when he knows that it’s her or no one else. It’s her, and it’s always her that can complete His world.
So when he is finally sure about his and her feeling –unlike before he doesn’t know what to say, now he finds the right word and doesn’t hesitate to say it out loud in front of her face. He kissed her forehead long enough before he saw her teary eyes and said what he should’ve said before all of this happened;
“I love you,” He pulls her into his embrace, caressing her hair softly, “I love you Chae Songhwa. I love you.”
