Flirty bug

Summary:

Adrien loved his girlfriend, but sometimes she put his self-control to the test.

Notes:

Written for day 6, "Adaptable, I like that."
You know the drill. This is on the higher end of the T spectrum. Still safe, but... well.

Work Text:

They had been together for a few months and Adrien had found out that while they now knew each other’s identities, the different sides of them sometimes still came into play.

They kissed, yes. But it was different. Around people, they had to play it cool. Also, Marinette was always a bit more shy when he was Adrien. She couldn’t explain it, because it wasn’t something she could control. And he didn’t mind. Usually.

But sometimes the contrast was jarring.

They would be in her room, cuddling and watching a movie. So soft and warm and just full to the brim with love. And he loved being like that with her. He’d dreamed of it for so long. Marinette was his home.

And then they would leave for patrol, and she’d be all over him and patrol would be forgotten. The sweet kisses would turn into something that took his breath away and left him aching for more. He loved this side of her as well. The way being Chat Noir had always given him a freedom he wouldn’t have otherwise, being with Ladybug meant that he also got a more liberated version of his girlfriend. He couldn’t complain.

If he was forced to pick, he’d be unable to decide. After all, they were the same person and he needed and loved all of her.

However, while being a gentleman and not taking liberties with her was so easy when they were tucked under a blanket, his chin on top of her head and his heart beating in her ear, it was close to impossible when they were transformed and she seemed determine to unleash all the pent up sexual tension between them. Ironically, the latter happened at the most inappropriate places.

“M’lady,” he whispered against her neck, feeling the gentle tug of her fingers in his hair.

Adrien could also feel the night on the back of his neck. They were somewhere in Paris, among the anonymous rooftops. Hidden from view and free to enjoy each other.

The problem was that it wasn’t very comfortable.

“My neck hurts,” Marinette giggled, as out of breath as he was. Kissing was a very vigorous exercise.

“This would be more comfortable in your room. On your chaise lounge. Or in your bed,” he said, punctuating every sentence with a kiss to her warm skin. He could feel her shiver and knew that it had nothing to do with the cold.

“But…” She sighed, trailing off.

Yes, being there as superheroes would be too risky. This might add to the thrill but it wasn’t worth it to be caught. He knew her well enough not to suggest that they could just detransform.

This meant that they had to get creative.

“I have an idea,” he exclaimed. He put his hands on her hips and lifted her a little into the air. “Hop up.”

Their eyes met as this they both understood that this was the moment to go back. But they didn’t. Instead she jumped in the air and crossed her ankles on his backside.

“Better?” He asked, when her forehead was comfortably against his without any strain.

“Kiss me.”

The words fell like a plea from her mouth, as if she couldn't bear to be away from him, and he was a goner.

It was different. Of course it was. He leaned her against the nearby chimney and became very aware of the fact that there was absolutely no space between them. Kissing was easier, which had been the idea. But this brought its own complications with it.

He had to hold her unless he wanted her to slide down his smooth suit. But oh God, his hand was on her butt and he wasn’t sure if this was acceptable.

“Is this ok?” He asked.

“Yes,” she panted against his lips before kissing him in a way that made it impossible to think. Her hold on him tightened and he thought that he was going to burst. She didn’t seem to mind at all their newfound proximity. But as amazing as it felt, it was also a bit dangerous.

“We should probably cool off,” he gasped as he pulled back a little, trying to clear his mind. The problem was that there wasn’t much room to run. The way he was still nestled between her legs did things to him.

“I kind of attacked you,” she said. He could feel her hot cheek against his when he leaned in.

“Did you see me protesting?” He smiled, his lips brushing her skin. “You can attack me anytime.”

“I don’t know what you do to me. I’m… this is so embarrassing,” she shook her head, biting her lip.

This was Marinette, not Ladybug who was in his arms. It must be serious.

“Look at me,” he said gently. “Don’t be afraid to show me how you feel. I live for that.”

“I… kind of want to remove some layers and feel more of you,” she said, her eyes barely meeting his.

“Oh goodness.” He was trying to be good. To stay on the right track. And she was undermining his efforts so easily. “Not easy to do in the suits,” he chuckled.

Apparently, this was no problem for her. He should have known that his lady would have a solution. With a determined look, she grabbed his bell and unzipped his suit. He hadn’t even known that it could be unzipped!

“Adaptable, I like that,” she gave him a happy smile. Before her hand sneaked into the gap, feeling his wildly beating heart. Then it headed lower, making him shiver.

“Nice,” she whistled. “It would be better without gloves, but still,” she said, licking her lips. “Are you ok, Adrien?”

She must have noticed the pained look on his face. He was trying to control his thoughts. And there she was, feeling him up.

“I thought we were cooling off,” he said, trying to hold back a moan when her gloved fingers brushed his taut stomach. It was so embarrassing.

“You can’t take it?” She smirked. Oh no. She was back in full force now.

The thing was, this was like a green light for him. He could let go. She also knew that he couldn’t back down from a challenge. This had been the wrong thing to say.

His lips were on hers again, not hesitant at all, making her moan into his mouth.

“What do you want to do?” She asked, her breath hot against his lips. He felt drunk on her and she was encouraging him to do worse.

He was sure that she could feel exactly how she affected him. But he could no longer be embarrassed about this. Instead of him answering with words, his hips rocked into her and that little friction made him groan.

Oh .”

They stood still for a moment, their eyes meeting and somehow making the air between them even hotter.

“See, m’lady, you’re driving me crazy,” he said, feeling his lips all puffy. Yet, he couldn’t wait to kiss her again. ”So don’t ever feel embarrassed about how you feel.”

“You drive me crazy, kitty,” she smiled, clearly proud of herself.

“Good,” he sighed happily. He was preparing to drop her on the rooftop when she stopped him.

“Do you think we can work on my suit? Next time.”

“Marinette,” there was a hint of desperation in his voice while he was trying to make it sound like a warning.

“I’m feeling adventurous,” she shrugged. Ladybug through and through.

“This would be easier…” he started again, looking pointedly at her.

“I know. But it’s hotter this way.”

He couldn’t argue with that.

“Let’s go home,” he said after a quick peck.

“Until next time.”

Once she was standing on her own feet and there was some space between them, so the night air could work its magic, Adrien felt that it was easier to joke.

“Can we write down somewhere that you’re undermining my self-control so I shouldn’t be held accountable?”

“Me?” She gasped, mock-innocent.

“You, my little seductive bug.”

“Is this a complaint?”

“No. But be careful. I won’t play nice next time,” he promised.

“This is what I’m counting on,” she grinned.

Oh, he was screwed.
