Apo was shocked but he maintained his composure as they are watched by thousands of fans on the stage.
It was the scene at the pier they reenacting for their World Tour concert. Apo rehearsed this scene hundreds of time now but what Mile just did, wasn't part of it at all. Not even once.
Mile kissed him. Mile kissed him on the lips, in front of thousands of people watching. They never rehearsed this part but Mile had told Apo before he might improvise the scene where he thinks fit. And knowing Mile for two years now, Mile can easily lost himself in the act.
But kissing? That was unexpected. Apo almost flinched at the sudden change of the scene but he is a professional, he needs to stay one at times like this.
When the lights off, Mile reached for his hand and they went backstage holding hands. Apo was quiet and Mile didn't talk about what happened earlier either.
The concert went on and Mile didn't improvise their next scenes together anymore.
That night, they went back to their room and Mile still haven't talk about it. Does the kiss means nothing to them?
It's been almost a year since they finished KinnPorsche filming and that marks the last day they ever kissed as Kinn and Porsche. They might be close but they never cross the lines of their friendship. And that applies to a kiss too. Mile never kiss Apo after the filming of KinnPorsche ends.
The kiss on the stage that night brought him back to the days when Mile was obsessed with his lips. Kinn. Not Mile. During the whole filming period, Mile and Apo kissed more than anyone ever kisses in their whole life. And that means a lot.
It took Apo a month to get used to the absence of Mile's lips on his. Took him another month to forget the taste of Mile's inner cavern on his tongue.
They aren't in a relationship of course, but he must be lying if he never felt anything when they kissed. It's a kiss. The second most intimate moment after sex and Apo is just a normal human being despite being an actor.
The second day of the concert and Apo can't help but anticipating the kiss. Pond met Mile and Apo before they start. Alone. And Apo knew what he's gonna talk about.
"Yesterday was good. You both did very well. I have nothing to add but Mile, you know what to do right?"
What to do? What? Apo was confused but he knew better not to stick his nose into someone else's business.
The concert started and the pier scene comes. Apo was nervous and his heart beats at an insane speed. He anticipated the kiss and he was very nervous for it. He should do it better this time.
He was flustered yesterday but he was ready for it today.
But the kiss never came. Apo's lips felt dry. He can feel his throat itched for the taste of Mile. It's been a while since their last kiss and he missed it so much. Yesterday wasn't helping either.
And this time Apo couldn't stay professional the whole day. Mile was still the same. He didn't talk about it either but at the end ment, Mile told everyone that "Friends could kiss too you know?"
What is that? Is he talking about last night? That must be what Pond meant. They are getting backlashes for the kiss scene? Pond must told Mile about it. Is Mile in trouble?
Apo wasn't particularly mad, but the concept of their concert is based on their BL series. The public should've expect it the least? It is a BL series after all.
They are back in their room after the concert once again. Apo still can't process his thought. However, there is one thing he is sure about, the kiss wasn't a mistake, it is not one-sided either. Apo wanted that kiss, he missed it and he wants it more now.
Apo sits on their shared bed. They booked the whole floor for the crews and members. The two single beds rooms were full and Pond gave them the biggest room on the floor.
The room was given to them because only Mile and Apo are comfortable enough to share a bed together. They are using their bedroom to store the equipments and everything as well. It is enough to say that they have the least privacy among the others as the crews can come and go as they please.
The good thing is their room have another small room that separates the lounge area from their beds and bathroom. The only privacy they have.
The crews are done loading their stuffs in the room and they are left alone to rest for the night.
But the tension in the room was so heavy that whenever Mile moves, Apo flinches. Mile is prepping himself to take a bath and Apo can't sit still on the bed.
The silence is breaking him apart and Apo wanted to do anything to stop it. And so he did.
"Kiss me." Apo blurted out without much thought. Everything about the concert stressing him out and the way Mile acting around him makes him agitated.
Mile who is walking towards the bathroom stops.
"What?" Mile finally turns towards Apo at the bed. Apo is facing the windows and his back is on Mile's direction. He sat still.
Fuck it. He wanted it too. He can't do this lying anymore. Apo wanted the kiss.
"Kiss me." This time he speaks his mind loud and clear.
Apo listens to the shuffling of Mile's foosteps. He is coming his way, and within seconds, Mile is in front of Apo. Standing in between his open thighs.
"Stand up, Po" Apo can't read the tone in Mile's voice and he is too afraid to look up at his expression. He watches as Mile's feet stood stern in front of him. They were really close. Apo can smell his musky scent.
"Po, please." Apo was reluctant but he started this so has to face it no matter what. Apo stands up slowly, eyes are still on the floor.
He might be brave to speak his mind, but he didn't dare to look at Mile's eyes.
"Look at me, Po." this time, Mile sounded serious and Apo caught the tone. He didn't need to be told twice.
Their eyes met and Apo is shaking. Shaking with arousal he suddenly felt in his groin area and with fear as he finally saw the dark, deep gaze Mile is giving him.
"Look at me and ask me again." And Mile's lips shuts flat. He is dead serious. Is he mad that Apo is asking him to kiss?
"K-kiss me?" Apo stuttered and he ends up asking him a question instead of asking him do the action.
"Are you sure that is what you want?"
And Apo went silent. Is that what he wanted? Did he really wanted Mile to kiss him? The questions make him confuse now.
Mile must have seen the confusion and hesitation in Apo's expression. He chuckles. Mile touches the back of Apo's head and it gives him goosebumps. They are so close. Apo can feel the warmth from Mile's breath.
"Ask me again when you are ready for it" Mile takes a step back and walks away.
Apo manages to grab his arm and stops him.
"Why you kissed me yesterday Mile?"
The hand stopping Mile is shaking like crazy. Mile chuckles again and turns slightly to look at Apo.
"Ask me again when you are ready for the answer" and he winks.
What was that?! Mile continues to walk away and went into the bathroom. Apo waits for the sound of the bathroom door clicking. He was holding his breath.
Mile didn't lock the door.
That's very unusual of Mile. Mile is very particular about his privacy. And locking the door is like part of his perfectionist side ritual. Apo has spend enough nights together with Mile to know his habits.
He sometimes locked the bathroom door twice to make sure he really locked the door. So yes, it is very unusual for Mile to not lock the door when he's getting a shower.
Apo can hear the shower running. Mile is showering yet the door is still unlocked. Apo stared at the bathroom for a few seconds and that's when he notices something.
Mile didn't bring his towel to the bathroom.
Apo finally gets the sign.
He didn't have to think twice, he already asked for it. Apo tightens his grips at the hem of his shirt and slowly strips himself naked. He is ready. Whatever Mile is offering him, he is ready for it.
He opens the bathroom door. Mile is in the shower behind the glass wall. His back is facing Apo. Mile is naked, just like him and Apo is nervous. He's sure Mile realized his intrusion yet he never look back at him.
He is challenging him.
Apo takes a deep breath and brace himself. He wanted this.
He enters the shower carefully, one step at a time. As if he's scared of waking up Mile.
Mile shifted under the shower, making some space for Apo. They were silent the whole time but the tension is at the breaking point.
Apo steps under the shower, open and fragile. Giving everything for Mile to see. The water ran down every crevices on his body. It's warm, just like his feeling inside.
They were facing the wall but Mile eyes him from the corner of his eyes. One last deep breath and Apo breaks the intimidating wall of silence.
