Luffy didn't really know what to do. She had this annoying feeling bothering her for a while now. Robin called it je-jealously or something like that. Robin once tried to explain it to her, but she was too occupied eating her salat. She never felt it before and, all she wanted now was getting rid of that annoying feeling.
It all started on the last island. A woman tried to flirt with Sanji and Sanji being the crazy womanizer he is, didn't mind. Luffy didn't mind either. She knew that Sanji loved her and that he would never leave her. So, she just let them be.
As the time came to leave the island, the woman wouldn't let him. She was trying to convince him to stay and that they could have a lovely night together. Whatever that meant.
But Sanji kindly refused her, told her that he was already in a relationship but that he felt flattered. The woman still didn't budge instead she pressed her big boobs against Sanjis arm, pleading him to stay.
Luffy was getting annoyed by this woman. Normally when Sanji told them he was already in a relationship, they would just leave him with a sad face and then they all could sail to the next island, but this woman was resistant.
Sanji was then carefully trying to get his arm out of her tight grip, not trying to hurt her after all. But somehow this annoyed Luffy even more. She was hungry and wanted dinner and after dinner she wanted to cuddle with her boyfriend.
Luffy walked up to them, knowing very well if she wouldn't step in that it would take forever for Sanji to get out of that situation, Sanjis eyes lit up when he saw her walking up to them.
"Sorry mellorine, but I have to go, my love is already waiting" and with that Sanji took his arm back and walked back to Luffy.
"Captain-swan I missed you" Sanji said and trapped Luffy in a hug.
Suddenly that annoying feeling was gone and Luffy felt like she could breathe again.
"Shishishi I missed you too Sanji" Luffy laughed and patted his head.
The woman watched them in disgust.
"This is what you call your love!?" The woman screamed and gritted her teeth.
"This is not even a woman. Look at her small boobs and her ugly scar on her face. She looks more like a boy than a woman. She can never pleasure you the same way I could!!!" The women yelled.
"What did you say" Luffy asked threadedly.
Luffy was suddenly getting angry, she just wanted to punch that woman.
"Sanji, don't you want to be with a real woman" The woman asked completely ignoring Luffy.
Sanji was about to answer but Luffy already punched the woman far away.
"Let's go" Luffy said and dragged Sanji along.
Sanji looked at her shocked but decided not to say anything, fearing he gets the same treatment as the woman.
Since that day Luffy couldn't get these words out of her head. Wasn't she a real woman? She doesn't have long hair and she doesn't have big boobs either, but do you need big ones to be a woman? She looked at her reflection in the water and touches her scar on the face. Was that scar really that ugly? Does she really look like a boy? Well, she did act like one, with her eating manners and her fighting style, but she didn't know any better, she did grow up with only brothers after all.
And it's not like she likes acting as a woman. She doesn't like dressing up or being clean. She loves to fight and to make herself dirty. But does that mean she wasn't a real woman and what if Sanji thinks so too. Does he find her scar ugly, and does he think her boobs are too small too?
Luffy turned around to look at him, he was currently serving Nami and Robin a drink.
This annoying feeling came back, and it made her angry. She curled up her fist and turned around to look at the water again.
Nami and Robin are real women. They have big boobs and perfect skin. They always look so pretty.
Luffy stared at her reflection again. She covered her scar with her hand and smiled. 'Maybe I can make myself prettier too and then I'll be a real woman. That's it!' she thought.
Luffy smiled and got up. She was ready to start but where... her smile faded. How do I make myself pretty?
That evening Luffy couldn't sleep. She was laying right awake, the rest of the crew was already sleeping. She shared a room with the boys even though it was a big fight in the beginning.
Zoro, Usopp and Chopper were ok with her sleeping there, but Nami and Sanji weren't. It's not like Sanji didn't want her there, he's just a little protective of Luffy and he didn't want her to sleep in a room with a bunch of men. But now it's different, he knows that the others won't do anything so he's fine with her sleeping there. Robin didn't care as long as the captain was happy. In the end Luffy won and now she's cuddling every night with Sanji in the same bed.
But not this night. She was thinking of a way to make herself prettier. Maybe she could ask someone for help. She looked around the room. Usopp and Chopper were sleeping on her right, snoring a little, on her left slept Sanji, he was mumbling something about marriage and kids and sometimes Luffy could hear her name.
She looked around again, but she couldn't find Zoro. So that meant he had night watch.
Luffy slowly got up,not trying to wake anyone up and made her way on the deck. Sure enough, Zoro was sleeping against the ships mast.
She slowly walked up to him and whispered a quit Zoro. Immediately, Zoros eyes were open and one of his swords were almost touching Luffys neck.
"Oh, it's only you. Is it mourning already" Zoro asked and rubbed his eyes.
"No, but-"
"Then don't bother me" Zoro said and closed his eyes, trying to fall back asleep.
"Zoro wait" Luffy tried to stop him, but it was already too late. He was already snoring.
She tried to shake him awake but he didn't even flinch.
Mmm, how does Nami always do it. Oh, right like this! Luffy thought and hit Zoro over the head.
Zoro yelped and landed face first on the ground, leaving a big bump on his head.
"Shishishi, that's funny, now I know why Nami does it so often" Luffy laughed.
"What was that for and why are you awake anyways" Zoro yelled and patted the place where Luffy hit him.
"How do I get prettier" Luffy asked now with a more serious look.
"What" Zoro asked he was still half asleep.
"How do I become more... more like a real woman" Luffy asked again. Zoro gave her a confused look. He really just wanted to sleep.
"I don't know, do I look like a woman to you!" Zoro whispered loudly. Not getting the question at all.
Luffy only stared at him, waiting for an answer.
"Why do you want to know anyways" Zoro asked more awake now.
"No reason" Luffy said and avoided eye contact. She was always a terrible liar. Zoro stared at her for a few seconds, trying to figure out what was going on in her empty head.
"Ask Robin or Nami they're women, they could help" Zoro said and closed his eyes.
"OHU, you're right I could ask them! Thanks!" Luffy said and ran off. Zoro only asked himself, what was going throw his captains head before falling back to sleep.
Nami and Robins quiet night was interrupted by a loud knocking on their door.
"I swear if Zoro lost the way to the bathroom again, I'm gonna kill him" Nami said and opened the door aggressively only to be surprised by their small captain. Namis eyes soften for a minute seeing her captain in her pyjamas looked just cute.
"What is it Luffy and don't worry nobody eat your salad" Nami whispered tiredly.
"No, I didn't have that dream again. I wanted to ask you something" Luffy said and looked her in the eye.
"And that couldn't wait until tomorrow" Nami said a little annoyed.
"No" Luffy said quick with a bright smile on her face.
Nami sighed and turned to Robin who was sitting on her bed, reading a book.
"I think we should let captain-san speak, after all it must be really important" Robin said with closed eyes and smiled at her captain.
Nami turned back to Luffy with an annoyed look on her face and sighed again.
"Alright spit it out! That better be good!" Nami said and crossed her hands.
"How do I become a real woman" Luffy asked serious.
Namis eyes widen and even Robins smile seemed to fate. She must be hearing things. Luffy wants to be feminine? She tried dressing her up, teaching her manners, showing her how to act like a woman for years and it never worked, she always refused it and ran away, so Nami gave upon it but now hearing it? She must be dreaming.
"What" Nami said still in shock.
"I want to be a real woman" Luffy said again but now a little closer to her face. Normally Nami would have screamed at her for being too close, but she was too shocked and dumbfounded to say something.
So, she did hear correctly. This isn't a dream, is it? She pinched herself and she could feel the pain, indeed, so that means Luffy was really asking.
Suddenly, Nami began to laugh and cried tears of joy. She jumped on Luffy and hugged her really tight. Robin only chuckled at the scene.
"I thought that moment would never come but it came" Nami said and wiped her tears out of her eyes.
Luffy looked at her confused, not getting the outburst of emotions at all.
"So are you going to help me" Luffy asked and tilted her head.
"Of course, of course come in" Nami said and made her space to enter.
Luffy walked in and seated herself on Namis bed. Nami closed and locked the door, just making sure Luffy couldn't get out, and seated herself in front of her on a stool.
"So, what do you wanna know" Nami asked and leaned her head on her hands.
"I wanna know how to become prettier" Luffy asked and looked at Nami serious.
Nami looked now a little concern and Robin began to look up from her book.
"Why do you want to be prettier" Nami asked.
Luffy furrowed her brows together. She couldn't tell Nami why. If she did Nami probably thought that she was ugly too.
"I just think you really pretty and I want to be pretty too" Luffy said avoiding eye contact and playing with her fingers. Nami looked at her sceptical and Robin got up to sit beside their captain.
"Is there really nothing else behind it.... nothing to do with Sanji" Nami asked still unsure.
"Nop, nothing else" Luffy said and shook her head. Nami and Robin looked each other in the eyes and nodded. They knew something else was going on, but their captain is not going to tell them.
"Ok Luffy first lesson for today is makeup" Nami said and fetched a lipstick out of a bag.
"Oooo, it's shiny can I eat it?" Luffy asked and tries to steal the lipstick from Nami.
Nami sighed. This was going to be a long night.
After 54 lessons later and three hours of sleep it was finally morning. Sanji woke up a little later. He was still tired and wanted to sleep so he searched for his lover to cuddle only to notice that her side of the bed was already cold. He slowly opened his eyes to be greeted by a snoring Usopp and Chopper. He sighed and got out of bed. He walked slowly to the kitchen, to start making breakfast and he began to walk faster when he thought of the possibility of Luffy raiding the fridge.
But to his surprise no one was in the kitchen, so were could his little airhead be. The kitchen door opened, and a yearning Zoro walked inn. He grabbed some booze out of the fridge and was about to walk out again only to be stopped by Sanji.
"Booze? Already? So early in the morning" Sanji asked and lit a cigarette.
"It's not for drinking shitty cook at least for now" Zoro said and put the cold bottle against the bump on his head.
"What did you call m-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH-WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU DID YOU LOST YOUR WAY TO THE TOILET AGAIN-HAHA" Sanji laughed at him when he sees the bump on his head.
Zoros cheeks began to turn red from embarrassed.
"Shut up curly brow! Ask your girlfriend if you wanna know so badly" Zoro shouted.
Sanji immediately stopped his laughing and looked up at him. Luffy wouldn't hit Zoro without a good reason (or a reason that was good enough for Luffy to hit him) and he wanted to know why she wasn't sleeping in their bed. He noticed that something has been going on with Luffy, she has been avoiding eye contact and kept to herself lately, but he thought it was just because they ran out of salad and that's why she was sulking.
"What" Sanji asked concern.
Zoro wanted to answer but hesitated. His lips formed into a devilish grin, now was the best time to take revenge.
"Oh, Luffy didn't told you. Then I guess I don't have to tell you either" Zoro said amused.
"Bastard, SPIT. IT. OUT" Sanji commanded threadedly and lifted his leg, ready to kick Zoro if needed.
"What did you call me" Zoro growled and bought out his swords, ready to fight as well.
Before the fight could escalate, a sleepy Nami walked in, she had bags under her eyes, and she looked like she didn't sleep the whole night.
"Can you two shut up already! It's too earlier for this" Nami yelled and messages her temples. She walked up to a stool and seated herself.
"Of course, Nami-swan~ What do you want for breakfast?" Sanji asked, forgetting the fight that took place but not forgetting to check up on Luffy later.
"Just coffee please" Nami answered.
It was a hard night for her and Robin. Luffy constantly tried to eat the makeup and she didn't get the reason why women comb their hair and wear skirts and why she should now too. They spent an hour searching for a bra that could fit Luffy but making her wear it was another thing. She couldn't sit still, and Robin actually had to use her powers to hold her down. After every five minutes she would ask if she was prettier now and if she could go show Sanji, what cute was but not after five hours of not getting any sleep and Luffy inflated her boobs all the time, saying she was a real woman now. It was really exhausting, and she was considering throwing her out of the room, but she knew that without them, Luffy doesn't have any female role model to go after, so she sacrificed herself.
Now Usopp and Chopper walked in both of them still a little tired and rubbed their eyes.
"Why are you guys already fighting this early" Usopp said and sit beside Nami. Chopper seated himself too.
"Ask that marimo over there, who still hasn't answered my question" Sanji said and placed the ordered coffee on the table.
"Shut up ero cook" Zoro growled, ready for a fight.
"Where are Luffy and Robin" Usopp asked now fully awoke, ignoring Zoro and Sanji fighting completely.
Normally Luffy would just jump at the word breakfast but now seeing that they're all gathered except for them is suspicious.
"Don't worry Robin is helping her with something. They should be ready any minute... or hour" Nami mumbled before taking a sip out of her coffee.
All the attention was now on Nami but before anyone could ask, Robin was walking already in and greeted them with a good morning. Even though she didn't sleep the whole night, she still looked good.
"Where is Luffy" Sanji asked a little worried now.
"Good morning, guys" Luffy said with a big smile on her face.
Well to say the rest of the crew was shocked was an understatement. Luffy looked different. She wore a short blue skirt and her usual red vest, that she refused to take of ,even when Nami begged her, was now open showing her boobs, that looked bigger, and she wore a black bar. Her scar on her cheek was covered with a band aid and it looked like she wore makeup because her usual pink lips were now dark red. She didn't look like an innocent, cute girl more like a seducing woman.
"What's wrong" Luffy asked and tilted her head, confused by the reaction of the male crew members.
"What happened" Usopp asked, still a little shocked that Luffy looked like a woman now.
"I'm a real woman now look, I've even got big boobs" Luffy yelled and ripped her bra down. Showing her inflated boobs to the rest of the world.
"Not again" Nami mumbled to herself before hitting every crew member who looked over the head.
Well, she punched all of them except for Chopper because his eyes were covered with one of Robins hands. The punch bought the crew back to their senses and more important a very bleeding
Sanji back from his dreamland.
Sanji wiped his nosebleed away and took of his jacket, immediately covering Luffys chest with it and shielding her body from the male crew members.
"Don't look! Perverts" Sanji yelled at them and guided Luffy out of the kitchen. Zoro and Nami sighed and Usopp begin to whistle, pretending like he saw nothing and scared that he might get kicked for it later.
"The only pervert is you" Zoro shouted after him but he was already gone.
Back to Sanji and Luffy.
"What happened to you?? Why are you looking like that???" Sanji asked loud and shocked. Don't get him wrong. He's more than happy to see Luffy dressed like that, but he knew that he wouldn't be the only guy happy about it and it's already hard enough to protect his cute innocent captain from those pervy eyes in her usual look but now dressed like that was a whole new level and not only that, but Luffy didn't looked like Luffy anymore. She didn't look like her bright, bubbly self anymore.
"Nami and Robin made me pretty" Luffy explained in her usual happy voice.
"What, why" Sanji asked confused and furrowed his brows. She was already the prettiest girl in the whole world to him and not only that, he knew that Nami tried making her act and dress like a woman for years, but Luffy always got away, leaving her to give up.
"Because I wanted to look pretty. Look I even covered my scar." Luffy said proud and pointed to her cheek. Sanji began to cup her cheek and caress over her band aid with his thump.
Luffy began to notice the silence and looked up at him with worried eyes, fearing that Sanji found her ugly.
"Don't you like it" She asked concern and took his hand with both of her hands of her cheek.
"Why do you want to look pretty" Sanji asked ignoring Luffys question. It's not like Luffy to suddenly care about her looks. He noticed that something was wrong with Luffy the last days, she tried to avoid him and didn't played as much with Usopp and Chopper anymore. He only thought that his airheaded girlfriend just needed some space. He would have never thought that it leaded to something like this, so he wanted to know the reason.
"Because...because I wanted to look like a real woman" Luffy hesitated at first but yelled the last part. Sanji was now taking by surprise. What does she mean by real woman???
"But you are a real woman Luffy" Sanji chuckled a little, finding her argument silly. But his chuckled quickly died when he saw Luffys face.
"No, I'm not!!! I don't eat like a woman or dress like a woman, and I have small boobs and a stupid scar" Luffy yelled, tears were rolling down her cheeks and she thought that Sanji would now hate her. She tried to wipe the tears away, but they wouldn't stop coming.
Sanji looked at her shocked but then released where she got that whole 'real woman' thing got from. He sighed, he hated seeing women cry but seeing his love cry hated he even more and his heart started to hurt from the sight.
"But Luffy" Sanji took Luffys arms, catching her attention. She was still crying though.
"I love you!!! I love the way you eat, it just shows how much you enjoy my food (even though sometimes you're eating the whole table) and I love the way you dress you always look so cute, and I love your boobs, I can't hold myself back when I see them, and they don't need to be big. I love your scar it just shows, who you are and who I fell in love with. I will always love you Luffy and you will always be a real woman for me" Sanji said with a smile on his face and gave Luffy a kiss on the forehead.
Luffy blinked up at him. Her tears stopped coming out, but she felt still unsure.
"So does that mean you don't think I'm ugly and you won't leave me" Luffy asked hesitant.
Sanji smiled and wiped the last remaining tears away.
"I will never leave you, even when you're begging me to leave" Sanji said and gave a final kiss on Luffys nose.
Luffy looked up at him and smiled. There it is the beautiful bright smile he fell in love with.
"I will never leave you too Sanji" Luffy yelled and jumped on him, kissing him all over his face, leaving red lipstick marks.
Sanji could feel blood running down his nose and his eyes shaped heart like. Being kissed all over his face and pressed so tightly against his captains body was just too much for his poor heart to take.
"Are you ok Sanji, you're bleeding" Luffy asked worried and innocent.
"Aha" Sanji answered and drooled a little.
"I'm getting Chopper wait here" Luffy said and wanted to run past him in the kitchen when she was suddenly stopped by a hand on her arm. She turned around to look at him. Sanji was coming back from his pervy thoughts to tell her something and to protect her from the rest of the male crew. Don't get him wrong, he trusted them, and he knew they wouldn't do something, but his overprotectiveness was a little too much.
"Let me get rid of this first" Sanji said and carefully ribbed off the band aid. Then he bended down to kiss Luffys scar, making her chuckle.
"And don't you want to change your outfit" Sanji asked.
Luffy looked down at her outfit with a surprised look and smiled.
"Yeah, you're right. I hate wearing skirts, how can woman fight in them" Luffy asked herself and began to remove her skirt.
"NOT HERE" Sanji yelled and almost died of blood loss.
"Oh, you're right shishishi" Luffy chuckled and ran back into the girl's room.
Sanji closed his eyes and sighed, shaking his head at the same time before cleaning his blood up and making breakfast.
Later that day Luffy was already jumping, running and playing around in her usual clothes. Nami and Robin watched them.
"Why!!! Everything was for nothing" Nami whined and observed Luffy playing around.
Robin chuckled at her and took a sip from a drink Sanji prepared for them.
"It wasn't for nothing. Captain-san is her usual self isn't that good" Robin asked with a closed eye smile. Nami looked her still with pouting expression.
'Sigh'" You're right it's good" Nami said.
In the kitchen
"Luffy you're the only woman for me~" Usopp said pretending to be Sanji.
"It's sounds exactly like him" Zoro laughed.
Both of them heard what Sanji said and now had a little fun. But their laughing would soon stop because someone entered the kitchen with both of them not noticing.
"Oh~ I would love to see you're-" Usopp said but before he could finish this sentence, he felt an angry aura in the room. He looked around only to be met by Sanjis mad gaze.
"What" Zoro asked, wanting him to finish and not noticing the atmosphere.
"Yeah, Usopp what do I wanna see" Sanji asked threadedly, but before anyone could answer, Sanji kicked both of them out the kitchen, leaving a massive bump on their heads.
"Idiots" Nami sighed as she saw them on the ground.
Sanji stepped over them before calling everyone for dinner. Luffy of course was the first one to be in the kitchen and was already devouring the food.
Nami smiled to herself. Even if she would never admit it, she liked her not so woman acting captain better and so did the others too.
