Work Text:
My name is Lukos Voldigoad.
Unlike most kids, I had two moms who were both my biological mother. I was conceived when my father, Anos Voldigoad, had the brilliant idea to mate with my mothers, Sasha & Misha Necron, in their fusion form Aisha. Being pregnant like this meant that Mama Sasha & Mama Misha had to stay as Aisha for nine months until I was finally born.
Or…was that what you thought?
Thanks to my Dad’s absolute genius at modifying spells and exploiting easily overlooked loopholes in the laws and principles of nature, my two Moms were able to take turns carrying me in their womb, being able to transfer me from one sister to the other. Anyone of them could’ve given birth to me as well, but, being the inseparable twin sisters they were, Sasha and Misha fused into Aisha again to give birth to me.
My Dad Anos once said that as powerful as he was, he wasn’t omnipotent by any means, and he hadn’t plumbed the depths of the abyss by any means. He suggested that it wasn’t impossible for a truly, absolutely omnipotent Deity to exist out there; someone that even he could not defeat or whose laws & principles he could not destroy & manipulate.
If there is a truly omnipotent God, I’m truly grateful He enabled me to grow up into such a loving family. My Dad, Anos, and my two biological Moms, Sasha and Misha. There was Eleonore Bianca, my Dad’s third wife, but she was as much of a mother to me as Misha and Sasha. I lived with my paternal grandparents, Gusta/Celis Voldigoad & Isabella/Luna Voldigoad, who really just showered me and my sisters with tons of love and affection.
Zeshia Voldigoad was my eldest sister. She wasn’t related to me by blood, but was born from Eleonore’s magic, and was adopted by Anos. Next up came Roselia Voldigoad, and this time she was related to me by blood. She mostly resembled her mother Eleonore, in terms of her hair and facial features, but there was some of my Dad Anos in her face as well. And she had inherited his eyes. She was as sweet, kind and loving as Eleonore was, to me included, but she could be as ruthless as Dad as well.
After me came my two younger sisters. Solaria & Lunaria Voldigoad were born on the same day to Sasha and Misha respectively, making each of them…my two-thirds sister? This time, they were conceived individually in their respective mothers.
My family extended beyond the biological. I grew up with Uncle Lay & Aunt Misa (or Aunt Avos?), and their daughters Lily and Alia; along with Misa’s parents Shin Reglia - my Dad’s right-hand man - and Reno the Great Spirit.
According to my two Moms, I was born with 70% of my Dad’s original power - power enough to destroy or conceive millions of universe-sized worlds in the Silver Sea; although what that was wasn’t explained to me until I was old enough to understand. Which was the ripe old age of 10 years old. Until that time, my father sealed my power with my Sources (Yes, plural, more on that later) and taught me to control my magic from a young age. He did that for all my sisters too, but I was the only one amongst my siblings who was born with that much power.
I found out from my family that I had a grand total of 20 Sources. Yes, two-zero. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Light, Dark, Time and Space, as well as Creation, Destruction, Nothingness, Demonic x 3, Spiritual x 2 and Divine x 3. Well, I guess when you mix the genetics of the Demon King of Tyranny AKA Lion of Destruction with the Demon reincarnations of the Goddesses of Creation & Destruction, this is what you get. I also inherited my grandfather Gusta/Celis’s affinity for Lightning Magic.
From young, I was taught how to utilize my Magic to its fullest potential. My parents were all very good teachers, especially my father, Anos Voldigoad. For all his ruthlessness and violence as the Demon King of Tyranny, my father knew how to be patient and encouraging towards me and how to speak the truth to me in love. He never exploded at me.
Dad taught me Demonic Magic of all varieties. Eleonore taught me Holy Magic. Misha and Sasha supplemented my lessons on Demonic Magic, but mainly taught me Divine Magic, especially in regards to Creation & Destruction. Uncle Lay taught me Source Magic and Swordsmanship, and so did Shin. Aunt Misa and Great Spirit Reno taught me Spirit Magic. Graham, who had been reconciled with Dad & Grandpa, taught me to use my Source of Nothingness. It all may have seemed like a recipe for being bored to death, but it wasn’t. Everyone made their lessons engaging and easy to understand, and there was never a moment I wasn’t bored. Neither were my sisters.
Having Divine, Demonic and Spiritual Sources meant that I could mix and match Magic of these three natures to form even more potent and powerful ‘hybrid’ magic spells. Something that I would love playing around with when obliterating pesky fleas and obsessive germs during my travels.
Oh wait, I think I forgot to describe my appearance.
To put it simply, I looked like a carbon copy of my father. The only indication that Sasha and Misha were my mothers were the three pupils in each of my eyes. My father’s blood-red on top, Sasha’s purple and Misha’s bright green at the bottom, forming a triangle. Still, anyone from afar would easily mistake me for my father. Poor old Elder Melheis would come running to me with a stack of documents only to find out that he had run for nothing.
But, I found a simple solution to all that.
I shaved my head bald.
. . .
Wasn’t hard, y’know. My level of proficiency with Magic enabled me to reduce all the hairs on my head to nothingness simply by willing it.
That’s not the point! People could still confuse you for Anos-sama! They’d think the Demon King of Tyranny shaved his head or something! And what will Anos-sama think?!
Did you think my Dad wouldn’t love me as I was if I became bald?
Did you think I wouldn’t love my son as he is despite becoming bald?
Okay, my bad. Carry on.
Once it was announced, the whole Demon nation of Dilhade rejoiced. Finally, they could tell the difference between my Dad and I. Though, being the son of the Demon King of Tyranny made me the Crown Prince, so they still had to bow anyway.
Oh, why did I shave my head, you ask?
I thought it looked cool since I was a kid.
I remember my Dad and Moms brought the family to a world in the Silver Sea. A world that, despite having no magic, made up for it with sophisticated and impressive means of transportation and commerce. And they had pretty fascinating entertainment as well.
They projected stories that they told on large screens with moving images. They called them ‘movies’. Unoriginal, but simple and easy to remember. We watched a particular movie about a bald human who had been given the power of the Gods and whose ruthless methods caused him to come into conflict with more peace-loving heroes. Kind of reminded me of my Dad and Uncle Lay when he was Hero Kanon. In any case, that man was insanely strong and cool, even if he was nowhere close to my Dad’s level. He had such an impact on me that associating baldness with strength and masculinity became a quirk of mine. What was he called again…? Black Aidan? Nope, Black Adam. Yep, that’s it.
And that’s the story of how I became bald. Not due to intense and overwhelming training everyday (as I later found out was possible during my travels through the Silver Sea Worlds), but simply shaving by Magic in less than a second.
When I was 16, I embarked on a journey through the Silver Sea, hungry for adventure, the sights and sounds of each World, and the hot-blooded urge to put some amoeba in their rightful place. Unfortunately, I have to end it right here, or else my author won’t be able to get enough sleep. But hopefully, if the ‘what-if’ Supreme Being does exist and is in sovereign control, I will be able to tell you all about my adventures through the Silver Sea’s Worlds.
