Chapter Text
It was late at night, and you and Joel had just returned to the hotel after the band's appearence at the countries biggest festival.
Since the show had been a huge success, he suggested that instead of heading back to your room right away, you should go to bar, and have a mini date and drinks to celebrate.
You decided to take up his suggestion and the two of you made your way down the corridor, towards the bar.
Once you arrived, Joel ordered your drinks and told you to sit at one of the tables in the middle of the room.
"Strange choice", you thought, since the two of you usually opted to sit somewhere more secluded, allowing you to just enjoy each others company without much noise or disruption, but once you sat down, you just assumed he probably wanted to show you off, since he hadn't seen you all weekend and the specific table was the first one visable when entering.
Not long after you took your seat, Joel returned, put the drinks on the table and gave you kiss, before checking the time on his phone and turning his attention to the doorway.
"Is everything OK," you asked, you seem a little distracted right now".
"Everything is perfect," he replied, looking at you with a smile, then watching as a man dressed in all black entered the bar and walked towards the counter.
After a the man had been there a couple of minutes, Joel stood up, and much to your confusion, ordered you to close your eyes, before he left you and walked over to him.
You followed the order, and a brief moment later, he arrived back.
"Babe, you can open your eyes now," he said, "there is someone I would like you to meet"
"Oh my god," you said, clearly stunned, upon opening them and seeing non other than Trent Reznor stood in front of you.
You spent a good minute just looking at him, almost in disbelief, before you finally asked Joel where and when the two met.
"We met last night, I ran into him at the festival, we started talking, hung out for a bit and I told him you would love to meet him but were unfortunately unable to join me, so he asked where you were I mentioned this hotel, and since he was staying here too we arranged this meeting."
"Thank you so much, I honestly don't know what to say, I feel so lucky."
"You feel lucky," Trent stated, "If anyone here should feel lucky it's me, Joel mentioned your beauty to me several times when we spoke, but I don't think his words quite did it justice, now i'm seeing you in person."
His comment made you giggle and smile, and much to your surprise, Joel didn't seem to take issue on it, like he did when other men complimented you.
As the night progressed and the three of you talked more, Trent continued to flatter you, made prolonged eye contact with you, and at one point, towards the end of one of your conversations, he even touched your arm for a brief moment, catching you off guard a little.
Once you finished talking, he moved his hand away, and you excused yourself from the table, so you could go and use the bathroom, leaving him and Joel alone to talk amongst themselves.
"You really like her, don't you," Joel remarked, noticing how Trent was watching you walk away.
"Of course I do, she's even more stunning in person."
"So I take it that means our little plan is still going ahead then."
"Obviously it is, why the hell would I turn down the opportunity to fuck her."
Joel seemed happy at Trent's willingness, so while you were still absent they discussed everything from the previous night, both in order to familiarize themselves with the basics, and to make sure that everything would happen without a hitch.
A few minutes later, Joel noticed you walking back into the room, so he and Trent decided it was time to put phase one of their plan into action, by staging a fight, a fight that was all about you.
