"SHUUUU!" Luca loudly called out. This is only the first time this happened after they both decided on living together. Luca struggling with using the electronic devices around the house and Shu always there to help him out with it. Shu immediately stopped what he was doing and ran into the living room, where Luca was at.
"Yes? What's wrong, Luca?" Shu asked, while looking around and then back to Luca, thinking it was another bug bothering his boyfriend and ready to get rid of it but not finding any traces of it.
"This stupid TV remote is not working. I kept slamming it on my hand but it didn't do anything! Can you check it out for me, please?" Luca ranted and asked as he extended his hand, which he had the remote in, towards Shu to check out. There was a moment of silence before Shu took the remote out of Luca's hands to inspect it and figure out what was wrong with it.
"Uhh. Have you tried changing out the batteries?" Shu asked, knowing very well that his lover didn't think of doing it and is about to realize his stupidity, yet again, which Shu found cute and was one of the reasons why he loved Luca so much. Shu just looked at Luca smiling and trying not to laugh as his boyfriend started to frown and be grumpy about it.
"I'm so stupid... Stop laughing!! That's so unpog of you." Luca said lifting up his legs onto the couch and wrapping his arms around it so he could burry his head in between his knees, embarrassed. Shu felt a little bad but still found it cute. He started walking around the table to where Luca was sitting and crouched down in front of him.
"Heyy, Lucaa," He dragged out, "Look at me, please. I'm sorry if i made you feel stupid; you're not. You can take it out on me if you want. I'll take a few hits." Shu kept going, but still no response from his Luca. Shu frowned a little and got up to sit next to his boyfriend. "Are you giving me the silent treatment? I didn't mean to make you feel like that babe. I'm sorry, ok? Can you please just look at me?" Shu kept going wanting to be reassured that they're still good and there are no misunderstandings. Luca slowly looked up and spoke up.
"Babe? Did you just call me babe?" Luca asked, while ignoring everything else his lover had said earlier. Shu couldn't help but giggle at him for being so adorable. He can't believe that Luca had chosen him out of everyone else; he just thinks he's very lucky.
"Is that what you focused on out of all the other things i just said? You're so cute, babe." Shu said smugly looking at Luca, who was staring at him with his puppy eyes, excited, but hiding it just as quick.
"tsk. I-I'm not cute. You are! I'm mean and evil." Luca stuttered out with a lack of confidence in his voice. Shu couldn't hold it in anymore and just burst out laughing. Luca looked away, blushing.
"Luca, please stop or I'll have to kiss you before you open your mouth to say more adorable things." Shu stated, trying to calm himself down and not attack his boyfriend with kisses.
"...it." Luca mumbled out.
"Hm? What'd you say? I couldn't hear." Shu asked.
"I said, then do it." Luca repeated, still barely audible but Shu still heard him. and the sorcerer, without a second thought, charged at the blondie and started kissing all over his face.
The end position was Luca laying down on the couch with Shu between his legs on top of him, breathing heavily. They both looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"I love you, babe." Shu told his boyfriend giving his lips one last peck and pulling away to look at him in the eyes and smiling.
"Ah! I-I love you too..." Luca replied while covering his face up. They both just ended up cuddling on the couch and slowly drifted off to sleep in each others arms and listening to each other's soft breathes.

"SHUUUU!" Luca cried out. Here we go. The cycle is about to begin.
"Luca? Where are you?" Shu asked while looking around the house for his lover.
"In the streaming room!" Luca yelled out.
"I was doing our laundry. What's up?" Shu asked entering the room and walking towards Luca. Luca was leaning over, behind the computer monitor and messing with some wires with his ass in reach to slap which Shu did not pass up on and did.
"Owe- Shu? Why would you do that?" Luca yelped as he grabbed his stinging ass and looked back at his banana head lover.
"Sorry. Couldn't help it. It was in my face, so don't blame me." Shu said as Luca sat up pouting and looking over at him.
"Come here," Shu said opening his arms wide for Luca to slip into, which he did. Shu put one hand on the back of his head, ruffling his blond locks, and the other went down to gently rub over the cheek he had hit earlier, earning a gasp from Luca. He soon relaxed into it and let his head rest on his boyfriend's defined shoulder, "but what's wrong, hm? What were you trying to do there?"
"Hmm. The PC is being weird and I was trying to fix it but- Ahhh." Luca was getting annoyed, realizing he wasn't able to fix it or find out what was wrong with it.
"Ok, baby, go continue doing the laundry and i'll fix whatever issue you have going on with the PC instead." Shu tried to push him out of the room so he could fix the PC before his beloved boyfriend starts whining about it, which he wouldn't mind listening to, but Luca wouldn't budge and it wasn't easy for Shu to push him since his boyfriend has a bigger build. Luca was frozen in place.
"You called me baby. Oh my God? What's up with you and calling me all these pet names, huh?" Luca asked turning back around to look at his partner, flabbergasted.
"Uh yeah. I just think it's cute and it suits you. And also you're reactions are the cutest, baby." Shu stated knowing exactly what he was doing to his poor baby. Luca was speechless for a few seconds before getting to speak up again.
"Wahh! I-I'm n-not cute! Stop!!" Luca hid his face in his hands, trying to hide his very obvious blush from getting so flustered. He'll never get used to getting called cute even though he really likes it, especially when it's his boyfriend doing it. Shu reached his hand out to gently peel of Luca's hands from his face; Luca let him and Shu brought both his hand to his mouth and planted soft pecks on them. Luca wanted to struggle out of them at first but loved the sensation too much and just gave in.
"Baby, you're so adorable. How will i ever learn to deal with it?" Shu rhetorically asked, more to himself then to Luca. He let go of his boyfriend's hands and cupped his cheeks, the ones on his face of course, and squished them which made him look like a cute fish with the way his lips puckered up. Shu couldn't resist and leaned in to leave a peck on them. When pulling away, Luca harshly pulled Shu back in and clashed their mouths together. Shu was taken by surprise but soon started to wrap his arms around his boyfriend's neck and continued their soon-to-become make out session. It didn't last that long with Luca pulling away and walking out of the room without saying a word; leaving Shu in a trance while watching him exit the room.
"Alright. I see how you wanna play this game." Shu said to himself turning his back around and walking over to the PC set up. He couldn't focus on fixing it, because he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened just a little while ago.
Luca, on the other hand, was leaned against the door inside their bedroom; breathing and panting heavily with his heart almost beating out of his chest like in the cartoons. He couldn't believe that he had done that. Of course, they have had their fair share of kisses here and there but heavy making outs were very rare. They were definitely at that stage and they've both thought about it before but none of them voiced it out to the other. They were ok with being like this and not doing anything anytime soon as long as they had each other. Luca was now calmed down, along with Shu, and they both went back to what they were supposed to do and never talked about this incident afterwards.

"SHUUUU!" Luca shouted for his lover who was in their bedroom but got no response this time. Weird. Luca thought to himself and called for him again, louder, but still no answer. He got a little worried but it could just be that he fell asleep; Luca, knowing his boyfriend had probably forgotten to cover himself up, got up from the comfy bean bag in the living room to go check up on him.
Luca twisted the door knob open just as Shu got out of the shower, located in the room, with only a towel hanging dangerously low around his hips and one around his neck for drying his hair, probably. Luca stared. He admired his boyfriend's build. He wasn't necessarily big but he still had a good defined build to be gazed at. They were both just standing there and staring at each other. Shu was the first to move by gripping the towel around his hips tighter. It's not that they've never seen each other naked before, but it's never been in an erotic or in-the-mood setting. Luca looked away quickly as that happened.
"Uh Um. So... What did you want?" Shu awkwardly asks, slowly walking up to the closet. Luca is still stunned and speechless. "Hm? Is something wrong, Luca?" Shu asks another question since his partner was taking too long to answer.
"Uh. So um. M-My phone keeps lagging, a-and i don't know. It keeps being weird. Could you check it out for me?" Luca stammered and finally looked up to his his boyfriend already in sweats and about to put a shirt on. Luca was disappointed but glad it ended.
"Oh yeah, sure. Show me your phone?" Shu walked up to Luca and put his hands flat against his back, guiding him out of their room and back to the living room. Luca was now conscious of every little touch given to him by his lover. He'd now be aware of every single hand brush against each other; his senses are more vivid around him.
Shu sits down, and before Luca's buttocks get to touch the couch, Shu pulls him onto his lap, facing each other, with Luca's legs on each side of his boyfriend's thighs. Luca is speechless and empty-minded trying to process what had just happened.
"So, where's your phone?" Shu asked while extending his hand out for his boyfriend to hand over the phone. Luca didn't move and kept staring at his partner with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth. "Luca? You there?" Shu asked looking up at Luca concerned, since his boyfriend hasn't said anything for a little while now. Luca blinks and shakes his head, getting out of his headspace.
"Uh. Right. Here it is." Luca handed over his phone, still trying to act cool and not lose his composure.
"Thanks. Now, let's have a look at this thing" Shu started playing around with the phone and sneakily wrapped his other hand around his lover's waist, making him mouth out a little gasp and go stiff for a little. Luca prayed Shu didn't notice that but couldn't see that Shu was silently smirking down at the phone to himself. They stayed like that in complete silence, not the awkward type, with Luca still very alert with Shu's every movement and action. At some point Luca gives in and lays his head on his boyfriend's shoulder while still comfortably sitting on his lap.
"Your storage was almost full which made your phone lag and all that. Try deleting some things and it should be back to normal." Shu said and started rubbing his boyfriend's back and gave him a kiss on his head. The upper head.
"Hm ok. I'll do that," Luca lazily took the phone and put it down somewhere on the couch and nuzzled his head more into Shu's neck. "I'm getting sleepy." Luca continued, dragging out the 'sleepy' and wrapped his hands around his lover, slowly drifting to sleep.
"We should get you to bed then. It'll be uncomfortable for you to sleep here and like this." Shu slowly picked Luca up, wrapping his legs around him so he's in a more stable position and made his way to their bedroom. Luca was too tired to react and just held onto his boyfriend tightly, not wanting to fall.
They made it to the bed and Shu laid Luca down but Luca wouldn't let go of him and strongly held on. When he realized Shu gave up on trying to wriggle out of his arms, he bed slammed his boyfriends onto the space next to him and snuggled up to him.
"Goodnight, darling! Sleep well!" Luca cheerfully said, knowing what he just did, and gave his lover a little cheek kiss and drifted off while tightly clinging onto the sorcerer. Shu was even more surprised and speechless now so he just ended up cuddling his darling to sleep.
And that's how they got more and more comfortable with using cute lovey dovey pet names with each other.
