The sun shone through the blinds, perfectly framing Tsukki's face while he's lying down next to you. His arms wrapped around your waist and a smile on his face, this is heaven to him. You ran your hands through his hair and cupped his face, he snuggled closer to your hand and groaned, "Hm, why are you awake already?"
You giggled, your boyfriend never really was a morning person but you do know that he likes waking up when he's with you. You pinched his cheeks and his eyebrows furrowed. Pretty boys deserve cheek pinches. "We still have school today, remember? Then we have practice afterwards."
His eyes were still closed the whole time, not wanting to leave his own version of paradise which is a spot next to yours. He huffed but got up anyways, preparing to take a shower and go to school.
You and Kei have been dating for a while now but the team doesn't know because you both decided that it's unnecessary and they don't need to know. As the manager, you can't add on to the boys' chaoticness and stress Kiyoko any more. Meanwhile, Tsukki just doesn't want to tell them because he knows how annoying they'll get.
Your ringtone suddenly rang across the room, Hinata was calling. Was there something he needed? As far as you remember, you didn't make any plans with him or something. You picked up but immediately pulled your ears away from your phone's speaker when Hinata yelled.
"Good morning, manager!" The embodiment of sunshine yelled, his energy knowing no bounds. "Do you need something? I'm sorry, I just woke up so I just saw your messages."
"Tsukki hasn't answered any of my texts yesterday! We slept over at Nishinoya-senpai's house because he promised to teach Kageyama and I some stuff!" You giggled, Kei probably bailed on them so he can have more time with you. It was hard not going on dates right after school and it's not just because of practice, it's also because getting caught by the others would be too much of a hassle.
Thankfully, they don't suspect anything when you guys go home together, it's the benefit of being neighbors (and also Yamaguchi being the angel that he is, he's great at covering your tracks.)
"I haven't really talked to him since we went home yesterday, have you tried calling him yet?" You got up while talking on the phone, might as well get your breakfast ready while your boyfriend's still getting ready. "That's strange- well anyways, you're walking with Tsukki to school today right?" He asked.
While getting a pitcher out of the refrigerator, you answered, "Yeah! I'm sure he's awake right now. You want me to relay a message?" With your phone squished between your ear and your shoulder, you spread butter all over the bread. Running to school on an empty stomach isn't a good idea.
You heard footsteps going down the stairs and you turned around, immediately shushing your beanpole boyfriend in order to make sure that Hinata wouldn't hear his clubmate's voice. Although he knows that you guys are neighbors, they might still get suspicious.
You turned around and continued listening to Hinata babble on about telling Tsukki that bailing on others isn't good. Kei walked up to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, he nuzzled his face on your neck and you giggled. "Hey? Why are you laughing? I was talking about something serious!" Hinata whined, his lesson about bailing on others still not finished. You hummed and answered, "I'm listening, i'm listening! Continue!"
Kei knew that it was his chance to tease you, he knows that if the boys find out that you were dating then he'll be teased to no end but maybe it's better if they find out so they'll stop aiming for you, right?
Soft lips landed on your shoulder, hands running up and down your waist. A small tickle on your right side startled you, making you jump a little. Your phone fell into the ground and you can hear Hinata's faint voice asking if everything was alright and what the loud thump was. You smacked Tsukishima's shoulder and picked up your phone. "I have to go but I'll make sure to give Kei a good scolding!" You emphasized the last part, looking at your partner who has a cheeky grin on his face.
After Hinata said his goodbyes, he made you promise to give Tsukki a smack in the back. God knows you're the only one that could do that. You ended the call and stuffed your phone in your pocket.
"You done now?" His grin still not fading. He's the prettiest when he's happy and you hope he'll be happy for a long time. You held out your arms, asking for a hug from your partner. You can't just resist him at times where he's being playful. He wrapped his arms around you and spun you slowly, as if it was some sort of a dance.
I guess you guys are going to be a bit late today.
