“You know when I said I liked dogs this isn’t what I meant” completely deadpanned at the man lounged across the couch of the store. Not this damn dog just casually lounging on the couch. Seriously, who does he even think he is? Certainly not a pedigree to be lounging about as if he owns the place.
“What can I say I live to provide” shrugging his shoulders and re-adjusting his position. “Ya’know I can just feel your thoughts from here.” Does he really find himself this funny? I know he sees me struggling and still has the audacity to stay on my sofa.
“Well can you atleast help me move these boxes then?” looking over at my shoulder to reply to him. “Ya’know I think I’ll just ask Cass for help instead!” cheerfully throwing the comment back to him and getting ready to call for the other male. Knowing that the motivation of his rival helping me will annoy him enough to work.
Walking away from him and over to the counter to call for Cass in the back “Ca-”
“Alright, alright, damn!” he quickly retorted back and pushed himself up “I’ll help don’t call the bloodsucker” Well that was easier than I thought it would be. Usually I would have to either embarrass myself or bargain for the help. Who knew that the threat of an undead man could get someone moving so quickly. Certainly not me; nope not me at all.
Smirking, I finish unpacking the box on the counter and watching the man grumble about moving some boxes. Knowing i wasn’t gonna call Cass anyway, so i don’t have to listen to the arguing. Who would willing put themselves through that kind of torture?

“Did you die!?”
“No...”
that was so believable….
“Then what was that!?” yelling in wonder to the giant mutt in the other room
“Nothing!”
“I don’t believe you!” shouting back in complete disbelief down the store. Trying to think if I need to run over and help. Did he honestly think I was an idiot?
