Tommyinnit should never ever be left alone

Summary:

Tommy is a super villain and learns how hard life is.

Chapter 1: Tommy fucking innit

Chapter Text

Tommy hated work.

He knew this job would likely get him out of his shitty household while still leaving extra money for an occasional gift, but it still sucked.

“I mean, who like’s working as a assistant?” He thought to himself as he continued writing down destruction checks over and over again.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention?

Tommy works for a computar agency, which is very unfortunate, given the fact that he barely understands computers.

Ah, here comes his boss now.

“How’s the paperwork coming Tommy?” a voice said, its mocking tone carrying.

“Just fine, sand eater.” Tommy retorted, not once backing down from the fight.

“You know, most people here treat me with respect. I suggest you do the same.”

“We both know that's a lie, Wibur.”

Wilbur paused, before letting out a soft, bubbly laugh.

“I suppose you're right Toms, I suppose you're right.”

Tommy couldn't resist smiling as well.

He would never tell Wilbur this, but he actually enjoyed spending time with him, and Wilbur’s two partners, Phil and Technoblade. His leading theory with all the other assistants is that they are all related. He even has a betting pool. Tommy knew this wasn't true though. If it was, Wilbur wouldn't still be alive. Techno would have killed him so many years ago.

Tommy once got questioned about this when he said it, and he said it was because of how annoying Wilbur is.

“Tommy, WAKE UP”

This snapped him back to reality.

Tommy looked up, and there, in all their glory were his bosses.

“Are you ok Toms?” Phil asked

“Yeah, I'm just a bit tired and sick from all this work.” Tommy replied sleepaly.

“Then why don’t you go home and get some rest.”

“Ra- I mean Phil, he can't go home!!”

“Oh my god Wilbur, I will fill out your sheets if it's that much of a problem.”

“What?”

“That's why you're mad, right?”

Wilburl’s voice hitched at this.

“Yeh, that’s exactly what I'm mad about, obviously.”

It was Techno who spoke next.

“Stop lying, Tommy, he doesn't want you to go because he’s attached to you.”

Tommy couldn't help but laugh at that.

“Haha, very funny Tecnoblade.”

Techno scowled, and for a second, Tommy thought he was about to get punched.

“I'm not kidding, he is attached! Phil, back me up on this!”

Tommy wondered how such a big guy could sound like such a small child.

It was the bickering between Techno and Wilbur that brought him back to earth.

“Can you both just shut up??? I’ll finish the paperwork and then I'll go home, ok?”

Wilbur still looked upset, but Phil and Blade both nodded their heads in agreement. With that Phil left, Blade trailing behind, dragging a screaming Wilbur with him.

To tell the truth, Tommy was glad that they agreed to the deal. He couldn't handle another minute in this stuffy office building. Once he finished up his work, he backed up his stuff, and was trying to get in the elevator, when all of a sudden, Wilbur appeared next to him.

“What do you want? Just let me go home man.”

“I will, I will. I'm just trying to give you this.”

With that, Wilbur put something cold in his hand, and left. Tommy looked down at his palm, and saw a jar. It was titled “Cold cure, the remedy for any sickness”. Next to it there was a little note, with Wilbur’s familiar chicken scrawl on the page. The card read . . .

“Get well soon Toms! This should help with

your illness, can't wait to see you on monday”

- Wilbur

Needless to say, Tommy was super confused.

“Why the fuck does he care?” He exclaimed.

Whatever, Tommy didn’t care, he just wanted to go home, to his shittyparents, and a slightly weird house. God, he wishes he could just go on patrol right now.

Wait a second.

He could go on patrol right now!

His family would never know, they didn't even know about him being a vigilante!

Tommy practically skipped home. When he got there, he changed out of his normal clothes and into his vigilante outfit. Tommy couldn't be happier. Actually at the moment his name wasn't Tommy, it was . . .

Catalyst

As Tommy leapt through the air, he couldn't help but think about his bosses. They seemed odd to anyone else, but to him, they were sweet. They were like the family he wished he had. Tommy’s family were never the greatest. His parents argued all the time and his sister died when he was a child. He never had that many memories of her, he was too young.

A crash nearby snapped him back to reality.

His blood ran cold when he saw what was infront of him

There was no way he was going to survive this one
