Work Text:
“Class dismissed.”
The moment the teacher announces their dismissal, Junhui immediately gathers his things inside his bag. It has become a routine for Junhui to hurry right after their subject before lunch time. Junhui goes to school and spends nine hours from Monday to Friday, and his only free time is their long lunch break.
Wen Junhui has always been someone who is seen alone. The thought of a company surely is appealing but being alone makes Junhui find peace. Ever since he was young, he values the comforting silence he receives on being alone.
Until he meets Jeon Wonwoo, the popular college dude that everyone, including Junhui, is head over heels for. Junhui’s quiet world became a chaotic one. Junhui met Wonwoo during one of those times he’s in the university’s garden, contemplating his life decisions. Wonwoo accidentally steps on his shoe.
“Ah!” Junhui screams, which makes Wonwoo flustered.
“Oh my god, I’m sorry! I didn’t notice you there.” Wonwoo immediately asks him, “Does it still hurt?”
Junhui freezes on the spot, not expecting an interaction from anyone, especially from a popular person like the guy in front of him.
“Hello?” Wonwoo calls his attention, “I said, are you okay? Does it still hurt?”
Junhui nods then suddenly shakes his head. It makes Wonwoo chuckle, “I don’t understand.”
“I-I am o-okay,” Junhui stutters.
“Thank goodness,” Wonwoo sighs, “I’m really sorry! I usually come here when no one’s around to unwind, but I guess it isn’t the right time.”
Junhui just stared at him. He doesn’t know why but he feels like his heartbeat increases even more than normal.
“Hey, you’re quiet.” Wonwoo pointed out, “I’m sorry, did I disturb your alone time?”
“N-no,” Junhui answered, “I-I’m not really used t-to talking to p-people. That’s why I-I’m here, t-to escape.”
Wonwoo smiles, “Me too! Being with a lot of people exhausts me. I usually come here during my vacant period. I don’t eat lunch anywhere because I don’t want to interact with people.”
Upon hearing that, Junhui became curious about him. He knows that Wonwoo is a popular guy, but learning this thing about him makes him interested.
“A-aren’t y-you the popular guy?” Junhui asked, “I’m sorry to ask, but I’m just making sure.”
Wonwoo nods, “Well, you can say that. I became the face of the school whenever they do endorsements and ads… that’s why I think why you knew me right away.”
“Yeah,” Junhui offers his right hand for a hand shake, “I’m Junhui, by the way. I’m a junior in high school.”
Wonwoo gladly receives Junhui’s hand, “I’m Wonwoo. I’m a junior too, but in college. Nice to meet you, Junhui.”
“Nice to meet you too, Wonwoo hyung.”
After that encounter, Junhui learned so much about Wonwoo. Junhui makes sure to visit the university garden during lunch time to meet up with Wonwoo. Wonwoo, on the other hand, always invites him for lunch which Junhui gladly accepts. There are times that they share each other’s lunchboxes. There are other times that it’s Wonwoo’s treat.
Their lunches had been a frequent thing, and Junhui realized that he grew a crush on Wonwoo. Their closeness reached to that point where they talk about personal stuff like frustrations at home and in academics. They became each other’s company.
Until when they both reached senior year. Wonwoo rarely visits the university garden, while Junhui still does. It just saddens Junhui not seeing Wonwoo as frequently as before. Because of that, instead of going to the garden first, Junhui passes by the department where Wonwoo attends most of his class. And luck is always on Junhui’s side because he gets a glimpse of Wonwoo. Junhui is content with that. After all, Wonwoo’s presence is all Junhui wanted to see, even if he’s from afar.
“Going to see the college guy again?” Soonyoung smirks at Junhui. Soonyoung is Junhui’s best friend, he knows everything about Junhui, including his crush on that popular college guy whom Junhui had his eyes on ever since. They became close during junior year, after his first encounter with Wonwoo. It seemed like Wonwoo broke down his walls and Junhui started socializing. Then Soonyoung became one of his go-to persons, until they became best of friends.
“Yeah. Are you coming with me?” Junhui questions. Soonyoung shakes his head, “Are you sure?”
“Gosh, Junnie! I don’t have to accompany you every single day.” Soonyoung rolls his eyes, “Jihoon will get mad at me for going with you to gawk on some guy instead.”
“Alright, alright. I’m going alone.” Junhui waves at him, “See you later!”
Junhui walks towards Wonwoo’s building again when a familiar voice calls him. Junhui knows the owner of the voice in a heartbeat.
“Junhui!” Wonwoo greets him again, “What are you doing here? I was supposed to go to the garden today.”
Junhui smiles, “Oh, hi Wonwoo hyung! Nothing, I was just exploring the buildings. I haven’t been here much.” Junhui lies. He’s in the building almost everyday to look for Wonwoo, but Wonwoo doesn’t need to know that.
“I see. Do you want to go grab some lunch? We haven’t been sharing meals or haven’t seen each other for a while now.” Wonwoo frowns.
“Of course!” Junhui accepts his invitation, “Yeah, my garden buddy doesn’t visit there anymore.”
Like usual, Wonwoo buys the meal in the cafeteria and has it for take out so he can bring it in the garden. Wonwoo remembers everything that Junhui wants. Well, Junhui isn’t hard to feed. Junhui enjoys food in every way he can, which Wonwoo finds adorable.
“Here’s yours,” Wonwoo gives the paper bag to Junhui the moment they sit down, “The usuals you buy in the cafeteria.”
“Thank you, Wonwoo hyung.” Junhui giggles, “By the way, I haven’t seen you around lately. Were you busy?”
Wonwoo sighs, “Yes, it was exhausting. I’ve been elected as the student council president and they’ve been giving me so many things to do. Also, my schedule is kinda hectic for this semester. Even though I have a vacant period, with the amount of work piling up on top of my academics, it drains me.”
“That sounds so stressful.”
“It is.” Wonwoo sighs, “Are you ready for college?”
Junhui immediately shakes his head, “No! I’ve just heard how stressful your life is, do you think I still want to?”
Wonwoo laughs at Junhui’s reaction and ruffles his hair, “Silly, college is fun too, you know.”
Junhui rolls his eyes, “Did what you just said earlier sound fun? I don’t think so.”
The two updated each other about their current situation in life. Other than what Wonwoo has said, Wonwoo told Junhui about some of his plans after college – which is to become a news anchor. He doesn’t take many gigs while he’s in college because he prioritizes his academics. Junhui, on the other hand, told Wonwoo about his plans of pursuing medicine.
“Oh you wanna be a doctor? That’s cool!” Wonwoo excitedly utters, “What specialization?”
“Pediatrics. I want to take good care of children.” Junhui heaves a sigh, “But I don’t know if I can go to med school even. I’m not smart enough.” The moment Junhui pouts, Wonwoo just can’t control himself so he pinches Junhui’s cheeks which made Junhui scream, “Wonwoo hyung!!!!!!”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!” Wonwoo chuckles, “I just can’t help it. You were too cute.” Wonwoo tells him honestly. It was the cue for Junhui to blush. Wonwoo always leaves Junhui speechless because of his enticing words. Before Junhui can even react, Wonwoo’s phone alarm rings.
“Oh, I have to go. Student council stuff.” Wonwoo sighs, “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Junhui nods, “Tomorrow.”
****
Junhui looked forward to lunch time because of Wonwoo, but to his disappointment, Wonwoo did not come. Junhui waited until it was almost time for his afternoon class. He wanted to go to Wonwoo’s building but he thought Wonwoo might be there when he’s gone. After having a deep sigh, Junhui leaves the garden.
“What’s with the long face?” Soonyoung asks him when he arrives at the classroom, “Did he ditch you this time?” Junhui shrugs, not wanting to hear anything from his best friend anymore.
Junhui has been down for the rest of the day. He can’t deny to himself that he’s very disappointed not seeing Wonwoo during lunch time. Also, Wonwoo told him yesterday that he’ll meet him, so he expected to see him there.
“Junhui!” Soonyoung calls his attention, “I’m passing by the communications department building. You wanna come?” Junhui shakes his head as a response, which Soonyoung finds surprising, “Oh my, you’re really having a bad day because of that college dude, huh?”
“Soonyoung, he has a name.” Junhui replies, “And I don’t care about him. I’m just tired. I’m going home.”
Soonyoung frowns, not wanting to see Junhui like this, “Junhui, you can always tell me if there’s a problem. I can always listen.”
Junhui slightly smiles, “I know. Thank you.” Junhui fixes his things, “I’m going home now. Take care on your way home, okay?”
To be honest, Soonyoung’s offer was tempting to Junhui. He wants to pass by Wonwoo’s building because even if he’s disappointed that Wonwoo didn’t show up, Junhui still wants to know if Wonwoo’s doing okay. He remembered Wonwoo’s rants yesterday. But right now, Junhui isn’t in the right headspace to think about it.
As Junhui steps out the university’s gate, he hears his name being called from afar. At first, Junhui just continued walking because it might just be his imagination. But when the voice seems to get louder, indicating that the source was near, Junhui stops walking. He looks back and reveals Wonwoo running towards him.
“Junhui!” Wonwoo calls him as he continues running in Junhui's direction. When Wonwoo is in front of Junhui, he tries to catch his breath and calls his name again.
“Wonwoo hyung.”
“Junhui, I thought I wouldn’t be able to see you today.” Wonwoo breathes, “I’m glad I saw your friend, that boy you’re always with? The one who likes tiger stuff? I asked where you were.”
Surprised, Junhui asks, “You know my friend?” Junhui never mentioned Soonyoung to Wonwoo, or even if he did, Junhui knows that Wonwoo never saw him.
Wonwoo’s eyes widened, as if he himself was surprised with the question, “I-I actually saw you with him a couple of times when I passed by the high school building.” Wonwoo scratches his nape, obviously trying to hide his red ears. Not waiting for Junhui to respond, Wonwoo holds his wrist and drags him, “Let’s go.”
“Wonwoo hyung, hold on.” Junhui tries to stop him, “Where are we going? I’m going home.”
“There’s a new coffee shop around the area, I want to take you there.”
“What? No, I have to go home. My appa will scold me.” Junhui tries to pull his hand but fails. Actually, what he said is just an excuse. No one’s really at home all the time, it’s just always Junhui and his personal maid since he was young. He just said those things to Wonwoo because he wants to avoid him.
“Come on, I’ll take you home after. And if I have to explain, I’ll talk to your father.”
Junhui did not fight with Wonwoo anymore. He’s just a little in denial that he wants this too, but he’s just really down today to even accept whatever is happening.
“Jeon Wonwoo!” A man, probably at Wonwoo’s age, greets him, “Oh, who’s this cutie?”
“This is Junhui, he’s a friend.” Wonwoo introduces, “Junhui, this is Choi Seungcheol, he’s my age but he graduated earlier than me. He owns this coffee shop.”
“Hello, Seungcheol hyung.” Junhui greets him.
“Oh ho~ Jeon Wonwoo bringing a friend ? That’s new.” Seungcheol teases Wonwoo, which Junhui does not notice. “Come, come! I’ll give you two free coffees for you to try.”
“Cheol, he doesn’t drink coffee.” Wonwoo emphasizes, which makes Junhui’s heart waver.
Seungcheol’s eyebrow raised, “Alright, I’ll give you hot chocolate instead.” He smiles at Junhui, “Find yourselves a table, I’ll get your drinks ready.”
When Wonwoo and Junhui settle on their chosen table, Junhui looks around the cafe, not wanting to look at Wonwoo. Wonwoo, on the other hand, just stares at Junhui. Wonwoo is aware of why Junhui is acting this way, it’s because he unintentionally ditched him during lunch.
Wonwoo reaches Junhui's hands which are on the table, making Junhui flinch, “Junhui, I’m so so so sorry.”
“For what?” Junhui asks, as if not knowing why.
Wonwoo pouts, “I’m really sorry for ditching you during lunch. It was never my intention to do that. I’ve been so caught up with my student council work that I forgot the time. I also forgot to eat my lunch.”
Alarmed by what Junhui has heard, “W-what?” Junhui exclaims, “You didn’t eat yet?” Wonwoo shakes his head, “No, why didn’t you say so? We should’ve just gone to a restaurant.”
Smiling on Junhui’s concerned face, “Junhui, it’s okay. Besides, Seungcheol offers pasta and sandwiches here too. I can order those, you know.”
“But that’s not a proper meal.” Junhui pouts, “For me, at least.” For another time, the moment Junhui pouted, Wonwoo reached for Junhui’s cheek and pinched it, “Wonwoo hyung! That hurts!”
“Gosh, Junhui, you’re so cute!” Wonwoo chuckles, “Don’t do that if you don’t wanna get pinched again!”
“No, I’ll just hide from you forever so you won’t be able to do that.”
“Junhui.” Wonwoo frowns, “I’m just kidding.”
Junhui giggles, “Me too.”
Wonwoo asks how Junhui’s day was, but Junhui doesn't tell the truth. Of course, he can’t just say to Wonwoo’s face that he was down throughout the afternoon because of him. That’s just too embarrassing. Wonwoo explains that his day was really tough because of academic and student council work, which is nothing new.
Wonwoo asks Junhui if he wants to meet up with him during lunch time tomorrow in the garden, which Junhui gladly accepts. He already anticipates seeing Wonwoo tomorrow.
“Here you go, love birds.” Seungcheol interrupts them, “Your orders are here.”
Junhui couldn’t help but feel his warm cheeks because Seungcheol just called them love birds. He looks at Wonwoo, trying to get a reaction. Wonwoo was just smiling, well, the typical smile he shows to everyone.
****
The following days went on differently, Wonwoo never showed up anymore. Junhui still waited in the garden, but there were no signs of Wonwoo. Come Friday, instead of Junhui going to the garden to wait for Wonwoo, he passes by Wonwoo’s building instead. But then again, there were no signs of Wonwoo.
Days turned to weeks to months. Time flies so fast that Junhui doesn't notice that it’s almost his graduation day. Within those months, there were no Jeon Wonwoo who appeared in the garden. Junhui never saw him in his building either.
There was one time Junhui visited Seungcheol’s cafe to ask about Wonwoo's whereabouts, Seungcheol told him that Wonwoo visits the cafe sometimes. Seungcheol also told him that Wonwoo is graduating in college soon, so it’s normal for him to get busier than he usually is.
“You’re graduating in high school too.” Seungcheol asked, “Drop by the cafe on your day, I’ll give you a free hot chocolate drink. When is your graduation day?”
“On the 19th.”
“Oh, Wonwoo’s graduation is a day before.” Seungcheol smirks, “Don’t you wanna see him?”
Junhui sighs, “He might not even wanna see me, Seungcheol hyung. We haven’t seen each other the day after he took me here.”
Seungcheol snorted, “Trust me, Junhui, he would wanna see you.”
“How come?”
Seungcheol shrugs, “It’s for you to find out.”
Junhui’s conversation with Seungcheol confused the hell out of him. What does Seungcheol mean? And does Wonwoo really want to see him? Impossible. If Wonwoo wanted to see him, then Wonwoo showed up just even once. But even Wonwoo’s shadow can’t be seen elsewhere.
****
Fast forward to Wonwoo’s graduation day. Junhui has been thinking about going to his university to just get a glimpse of Wonwoo, but he’s having second thoughts. What if Wonwoo is really avoiding him? What if Seungcheol was just joking when he said that Wonwoo wanted to see him? Junhui finds the situation very confusing.
After a couple of hours of self loathing and in denial, Junhui finally decides to go to school to just take a glimpse of Wonwoo. He can’t deny the fact that he’s curious about him.
When Junhui arrives, he immediately runs to the gymnasium. There’s a lot of people, obviously, because it’s the whole department’s graduation day.
It is hard to find for Wonwoo because everyone is wearing the same graduation gown. He’s been trying to find Wonwoo amongst the crowd but fails to do so.
Junhui is on the verge of giving up when he hears Wonwoo’s voice from the speakers.
“Sometimes, we just want to get away from people but we still accidentally meet someone who can change our lives forever. A good company, an attentive listener and a great friend. It takes time for us to meet a person who creates a huge impact on our lives.
To that someone whom I accidentally stepped on his foot, thank you for becoming my escape from this chaotic life I lived in. I hope we could hang out again, if time permits us to. I hope we achieve our dreams, the one we wanted to even though we’re not confident in. I don’t know if it’s possible for our paths to cross again, but it is, I would love to. Thank you for coming into my life. Until we meet again. ”
Junhui finds it hard to breathe after listening to those words. What does Wonwoo mean? Is that a goodbye? For him? He doesn’t want to assume but the message seemed to be for him. Is this what Seungcheol meant? That’s why he insists on Junhui to attend Wonwoo's graduation?
Because of the confusion, Junhui runs away with tears in his eyes. He doesn’t understand clearly what Wonwoo meant.
Junhui thinks that coming to Wonwoo’s graduation is a mistake. He hasn’t seen Wonwoo for a long time, now he’s saying goodbye? In front of everyone else? Junhui knows that this thing will happen eventually, it just hurts him that Wonwoo chose not to see him until his last day in the university.
Junhui cries his heart out when he arrives at home.
****
“Good morning, son.” Junhui’s dad greets him upon waking up.
“Appa, you’re here!” Junhui smiles as he sees his father in front of him. He immediately stands up and hugs him, “I missed you, Appa!”
“I missed you too, my big boy!” His dad ruffles his hair, “Congratulations on graduating in high school!”
“I thought you’ll miss my graduation day.”
“Of course not! I won’t let anything or anyone interrupt me today.”
Junhui smiles upon hearing that. Even though Junhui’s father is mostly out of town due to his work, he definitely makes sure to attend Junhui’s important events and celebrate it together. It’s just him and Junhui after all.
“What do you want to do after your graduation ceremony?” His father asks.
Junhui just shrugs, “I actually don’t have anything in mind, Appa. Having you here is enough.”
“Well, I’ll have to leave at 10 P.M. We still have plenty of time to hang out after your ceremony. How about going to a fancy restaurant for dinner? Does it sound good?”
Junhui hums excitedly, “I want to go to a big buffet, Appa! The one with lots of desserts!”
His father chuckles, “Of course, you and your sweet tooth really.”
****
Junhui and his father arrive at school. There are many students in white graduation gowns like Junhui. He looks around and feels nostalgia over the place. When Junhui transferred to the university, his only place of comfort was the university garden. Not a lot of students go or even Wonwoo there, that’s why he chose to go there whenever he wants peace of mind.
Until that day Wonwoo accidentally steps on his foot. The memory of it is funny, but somehow, Junhui feels sad remembering it at the moment. The place he used to go to when he wanted to be alone had become a place where he met the person he didn’t know he'd fall for.
Junhui acknowledges his romantic feelings for the college student, but he doesn’t pursue it because he knows that it won’t work out. Wonwoo is out of his league. Wonwoo builds his career already even if he’s still in college while Junhui is still lost in his thoughts and still does not know which path to pursue. But even if Junhui feels that, he can’t deny the fact that Wonwoo has greatly influenced him, especially in terms of social interaction.
“Junhui.” A familiar voice interrupted Junhui’s thoughts. He immediately turns around and it reveals the person whom he was thinking of just a moment ago.
“Wonwoo hyung,” Junhui scans his look, “You look amazing. I’ve never seen you not in a school uniform.”
“T-Thank you,” Wonwoo stutters, “Congratulations, Junhui!” Wonwoo greets and hands over a brown paper bag.
“For me?” Wonwoo nods at him. Junhui gladly accepts it and looks inside, “A white cat stuffed toy, really?” Junhui chuckles.
“Hey, when I saw that, it really reminded me of you.”
“That’s so sweet of you.” Junhui says, “What are you doing here though? Your graduation was yesterday.”
Wonwoo’s eyebrow raised, “So you really came yesterday, huh?”
“I…” Junhui gulps, “I did. C-congratulations as well, Wonwoo hyung!” Junhui tried his best not to let Wonwoo show he’s nervous on what topic they’ll talk about.
“Junhui,” Wonwoo looks at him intently, “Junhui, you’ve heard that right? You’ve heard that part where I talked about you?” Junhui sWonwooed silent, not knowing what to reply. Wonwoo continues, “Junhui, I wanted you to hear that.”
“Why, Wonwoo hyung? Why do I need to hear it?” The sides of Junhui’s eyes begin to heat up, “Are you saying those for you to completely say goodbye to me? Wonwoo hyung, we haven’t seen each other for months after you dragged me to Seungcheol hyung’s coffee shop! I’ve never seen you, nor your shadow. I usually passed by your building but there were no signs for you!”
This time, Junhui really cries, “Wonwoo hyung, if you want me out of your life, you could’ve told me!”
“Junhui, that’s not what I meant!” Wonwoo is surprised at how Junhui interpreted his speech for him, “The past few months have been so hectic that I didn’t have time to even breathe. I didn’t have time for myself either. I know I can find ways to meet you but I couldn’t. Whenever I get close to you, I just want the time to stop. I just want to stick with you and forget about school and other stuff. Because whenever I’m with you, I find comfort. You were my escape from the chaos I’m into.”
“Those days we don’t meet, I’ve only looked from afar. I didn’t attempt to get close because the moment I did, I’ll just run to you and hug you tightly. I didn’t want to get you off of my life. I’ll never wish for that.” Wonwoo takes a deep breath, “I was a coward, Junhui, I’m afraid if I let you know these things, you might feel awkward, or worse, avoid me. I’m afraid that when I tell you I like you, you might disappear from my life forever.”
“Y-you l-like me?” Junhui questions.
Wonwoo reaches for Junhui’s hands and holds them, “Junhui, I’ve never let anyone else enter my personal space, not even Seungcheol. Whenever I go to the garden, I tell you that I wanted to get away from people. They exhaust me. But when I met you there, it felt comfortable… that I always crave for that comfort. At first, I thought it was just because of the place, but eventually I realized that it’s because of you, everything about you is enticing.”
“Junhui, I don’t know if you feel the same, but I want you to become a part of my life forever.” Wonwoo kisses Junhui’s hands and his tears begin to fall.
“Wonwoo hyung,” Junhui starts, “The moment you told me you like me, it felt so good… Because I like you too.”
“Really?”
“Yes, but please let me finish first.” Junhui utters, “Everything you’ve said made me feel comfortable as well. But Wonwoo hyung, you’re out of my league. I’m just graduating high school, entering college in a few months. I have not proven myself yet. Unlike you, you were trying to build your name while still in college.”
Junhui breathes, “Yes, me becoming a part of your life is actually a nice idea… But I don’t think you deserve someone like me… a nobody.”
“Junhui, I have a question.”
“What is it?”
“Do you really like me?”
“I just said I did.”
Wonwoo smiles, “Then what’s the problem?”
Trying his best not to roll his eyes, Junhui asks, “Did you even listen to what I’ve just said?”
“Junhui, we can try. I would love to try to work it out.” Wonwoo holds Junhui’s hands tightly, “I would love to be with you on your journey in college, in med school or anything you want to pursue. I would love to try this, as long as you want to.”
Junhui pauses for a few moments and looks into Wonwoo’s eyes, “Wonwoo hyung, I would love to try too.”
“Really?” Wonwoo excitedly asks.
“Really.”
Wonwoo cups Junhui’s cheeks as an attempt to kiss him. But before he could even do that, they heard someone clearing his throat. When they saw who it was, Junhui pushed Wonwoo in panic.
“Appa!” Junhui chuckles nervously.
Junhui’s father looks serious, Junhui couldn’t read him, that's why he’s panicking. He looks at Junhui, then Wonwoo. The two couldn’t decipher what’s going on, they just know they were caught almost kissing each other.
“Tell me, Junhui, is this the reason why you’ve been happy lately?” His father asks, which made Junhui surprised.
“Appa? How can you say that?” Junhui asks, confused about his father’s question.
“Your maid told me you’ve been acting differently lately, like you seemed friendlier. She also sent me pictures of you smiling while reading your notes in class. You’ve always been dreading studying, Junhui.” His father smiles, “And I like these changes, I think my Junhui is back. So again, is this the reason why?” Junhui slowly nods, “So is he your boyfriend?”
Junhui’s eyes widened, “Appa! He’s not my boyfriend!”
“Yet,” Wonwoo emphasizes, “Not yet.” Wonwoo bows in front of Junhui’s father, “Hello sir, I’m Jeon Wonwoo. I just graduated college yesterday, and I’m here to court your son, if you’ll let me.”
Junhui’s dad giggles, “Oh god, Junhui, I think I like him for you.” He looks at Wonwoo, “Okay, go ahead. As long as you make my big boy here happy, I approve.”
“Really?!” Junhui exclaims, “Are you sure, Appa?”
Junhui’s father rolls his eyes, “You want me to take it back?”
Junhui hugs his dad, “Of course not! Thank you, Appa! You’re the best.”
“Wonwoo,” Junhui’s father calls him, “Join us for dinner tonight.”
“I would love to, sir.” Wonwoo accepts.
“You can call me Appa too.” He looks at his wrist watch, “Junhui, it’s time for the ceremony, we should go ahead. Come with us, Wonwoo.”
The three of them walk to the gymnasium for Junhui’s graduation ceremony. It was indeed an eventful day, at least for Junhui. But definitely one of the books. Having Wonwoo within one of his milestones in life makes him so happy. And Junhui wants Wonwoo not just to step on his foot, but also to be there when he steps a new milestone in his life.
