Chapter Text
You were the new kid at UA, fortunately everyone was very welcoming. Well almost everyone. You did your best to make friends and luckily for you it wasnt hard. You made your way to be one of the tops in your class opposed to Momo, the most gorgeous and smartest girl in your program.
All the boys thought you were the most irresistible being they have ever laid their eyes on. Which resulted in multiple people pining for you. Usually you wouldnt bother but figured it wouldnt hurt to go on a couple of dates. Sadly, none of them stuck yet you didnt fret. Being alone was nothing but a pleasure at the moment. Still trying to fit in, you didnt want to cling yourself to anyone just yet.
Greetings flowed all around you as you arrived to class. You put in your best smile and gestured your best waves of hello to everyone.
You sat in the back of the class next to a particular grumpy spiky haired blonde. A propped up arm holding his head, cheek in hand with his infamous scowl. His piercing red eyes bore into yours as you strode next to him.
A light blush painted your face, careful not to stare too long and broke eye contact rapidly as you sat down. Remaining in your stoic posture and mannerisms.
You looked around the room, classmates buzzing with small talk. You scanned over to Izuku and paused to view his freckles move as he conversed with the others. Adorable . You thought.
Now over to the half white and half red haired that sat in the back but on the opposite end of you. Fiddling with his thumbs and watching over just the same.
Gosh, why was every boy in here so freaking attractive. Each one unique in their own way, you wished you could taste every flavor they offered.
Mr. Aizawa walking in while Tenya shushed the class, got everyone in order and hushed. Silence carried on as he announced a project well more of an essay based off of what a hero would do in a specific situation. He stated that he required 4 pages in detail of your tactics along with math calculations.
Quietly you groaned in your head. Math was the bane of your existence despite being pretty decent at it. Although, he said that it would be partnered so it would be perfect for you to push the math onto a fellow student.
“Kaminari with Uraraka, Midoriya with Kirishima, Todoroki with-“ Mr. Aizowa went through his list of partners. “- and Anora with Bakugo”
Your eyes shot up. Bakugo nonetheless stayed still, no reaction other than crossing his arms and huffing. Odd, that he didnt have a snide or angry remark.
Soon the class sprouted in discussions and chairs moving around to their assigned partners. Bakugo turned towards you, “ You calculate how much one of my blasts can damage a villan and far it would-“
“Uh excuse you?” You interrupted. There was no way in hell he was going to stick you with that let alone assign you a task. Doesnt matter how cute he is.
“Dont interrupt me!” He yelled. “Now you are going to -“
“I dont think so “ You intercepted once again “ We’re supposed to work as a team, partners dont control another partner” He grit his teeth, slowly opening his mouth to chastise you from interrupting and not listening to his demands.
The bell rang letting the students know that the next class was due. You quickly grabbed your notebook and scurried out of the room before Bakugo could argue with you. You didnt look back knowing that if you did, you would suffer from the blondes rage.
After your morning classes, you headed to lunch. Promptly finishing your meal, you got up to return your now dirty dish.
“Finished already?” Ashido blurted.
“Yeah, sorry. Wanna finish my book” You shyly answered while waving your book.
The girls said their goodbyes and you walked out of the cafeteria to sit on an isolated window sill near the stairway.
Being too engulfed in your reading, you didnt notice a tall figure approach you. A pile of papers slammed next to your feet and the window glass.
Your eyes met with fiery crimson ones. Bakugo. He pointed at the pile,” I wrote half of it down, it should be enough for you to figure out the numbers”
His harsh gruff voice was low and assertive. Looks like he wasnt taking no for an answer. You scoffed as you closed your book and stood up. Barely getting any height in from how Bakugo towered over you still. It was intimidating, you admit but you were not backing down.
“There is now way in hell” You sounded a bit meek but stood your ground. Without letting young Bakuchode get the last word while he erupted an angry “Huh!?” You walked away.
“Hey! Dont walk away from ME!!” He yelled, his fist in the air.
The audacity of that guy. His persistence and stubbornness burned an anger inside of you. You were not one to get mad so easily but he was starting to get irritating. Despite his handsomely features he might become an enemy. An unwelcome one at that. The pettiness increased as your mind wondered on how to take care of this young annoying individual. You didnt come to this school to create rivals but to inspire and live a peacful life. So help yourself, if you had to take matters into your own hands…. No.
Bakugo was an egotistical jerk at times. You noticed he didnt take praise normally, he took it as if it was made for him to hear. “Yeah I know” Hed snarl. Whenever someone complimented him, it was never a simple thank you. So you knew where to hit him, to one up him.
Taking the rest of the day to write down your tactics, trying your best to involve the spiky chode. You spent all night as well to finish the project on your own except leaving out one delicious part.
