Chapter Text
There is an old saying, "be careful what you wish for". Emmet was starting to fully understand the true meaning of that phrase as the eldritch god emerged halfway from his mirror and lazily sprawled across his dresser. He had gotten his brother back, but at what cost?
"Good morning, Emmet~" Volo sang, his tentacles dancing around his form in loose spirals.
"What do you want?" Emmet hissed.
Volo emerged all the way, his body was that of a man's but also merged with a dragon to form a horrible spectral creature right out of his nightmares. His tail lagged out of the mirror last, trailing behind him like an overfed snake. Volo stepped on the bed and effortless lifted himself above Emmet. The cage of tentacles floated over him, a trap set and ready to spring. The bait was the perfect form of the bare man in front of him, the man he had spent untold hours with, being seduced and bred by the night before.
"What do you think I want?" Volo hummed.
Emmet gritted his teeth. "More sex?"
Volo let out a melodic chuckle. He laid across Emmet, wrapping his arms around his neck. "More than that. I want you. All of you."
Emmet stiffened, his heart betraying his reason. Volo leaned up and cupped Emmet's cheek, pulling him into a kiss. The creature's long tongue forcing its way into his mouth. Emmet's mind screamed at him to resist, begged him, but Emmet's arms soon were wrapped around the man, returning his affections and craving more. He cradled the beast and tasted his sweet temptation, gasping as Volo's unseen tendrils invaded his mind once more.
Volo pulled back to smile at Emmet and play lazily with one of his sideburns, "So... will you be mine, Emmet?"
"You are planning something horrible." Emmet snarled.
"I'm planning to make you scream in pleasure." Volo grinned.
Emmet furrowed his brows and pushed Volo away onto the bed. Volo snickered and crawled into the man's lap, lovingly kissing at his neck.
"You cannot hide your desire from me, Emmet. I can feel your heart burning." Volo cooed, his claws raking through Emmet's hair, causing him to shiver.
Emmet swallowed hard, the demon didn't lie. He wanted Volo. All he could do was think about their night together. How he had never felt such pleasure before. Every nerve in his body had been stimulated into giving him the best orgasms of his life. Sex with anyone else would pale in comparison to the price he had paid to get Ingo back. How he longed for that feeling again. Just a taste, one round, that's all he would need.
"Emmet! We are going to be late!" Ingo shouted from the kitchen.
Emmet looked towards the door, his brother's voice pulling him from the siren's song. When he turned back, Volo was no longer on the bed, but back in the mirror. He floated in front of Emmet casually, a bored look on his face.
"Give it a mauling over, Emmet. I'll be waiting." Volo said before the mirror returned to showing Emmet's own reflection.
Emmet felt fresh air fill his lungs and a heavy weight off his chest. He hadn't realized just how overwhelming Volo's presence was. He stood, touching the mirror tentatively. The surface showed no super natural properties. He was alone in his room once more.
Emmet hesitated a moment before he changed into his work clothes, avoiding looking in the mirror as much as possible, thankful that his hat covered most of his hair.
"There you are, Emmet. I was beginning to worry." Ingo said, handing him a plate of eggs and toast.
Emmet took the plate and sat down, starting to eat. "Thanks... I think I just had a really bad nightmare."
"Oh, that won't do. You need a good nights rest to refuel the tank. Sorry you didn't sleep well, little brother." Ingo said.
"Hey Ingo, what did we do yesterday?" Emmet asked.
"Yesterday? Well we just went to work like usual." Ingo replied.
This was false. Yesterday was a Sunday. Emmet checked his phone, shocked to find the date was different. To his horror it was the day after Ingo had originally disappeared. Volo hadn't just brought his brother back, he had erased the entire time he had been missing. It was an entire new start.
Ingo suddenly put a hand to Emmet's forehead, "Hmm, no fever. Emmet are you sure you are okay? You seem really out of it."
Emmet gave Ingo a small smile, "I'll be okay... thank you, Ingo."
Emmet reached up and pulled his brother into a tight hug. Ingo was confused for a moment, but returned the hug, petting Emmet's back.
"You know, you can talk to me about anything, okay? If something is bothering you, I'll always be here to talk." Ingo whispered to Emmet.
"I know." Emmet clung to Ingo tightly. It was so nice having his brother back. It was taking all of his willpower not to break into tears as he trembled in Ingo arms.
"Emmet, you're shaking." Ingo pulled Emmet off of him. "I insist you stay home and rest."
"No, no, I swear I'm fine I... I dreamed that I had lost you." Emmet said.
Ingo paused and then the corns of his mouth curled up a little. He gave a sympathetic look to Emmet and pat his shoulder. "I'm not going anywhere, Emmet. Now, head back to bed. You should rest when you aren't feeling yourself."
"No, please. It was just a nightmare. Work will distract me from it." Emmet insisted.
Ingo sighed, "Alright, if you are sure."
"Positive." Emmet replied, readjusting his hat.
As they were heading to work, Emmet couldn't help but feel like every reflective surface was off, like something out of the corner of his eye was watching him. Shop windows with things floating in them. A stray tentacle here and there in puddles on the ground. Emmet swallowed hard, trying to calm himself. As they arrived at the Gear Station Ingo gave Emmet one more concerned look before heading to the Single-Line. Emmet waved him off, assuring he would be fine.
He stood alone in the final cart of the Double-Line and realized his doom. All the windows of the cart showed faint shadows of Volo swirling around inside. Sometimes the creature would swim closer and press his face to the glass with a wicked grin. Other times he would just swim and circle Emmet like a shark. Emmet tried to stay calm, to not look at him. But Volo pressed himself against the glass, staring at him. He licked his lips and reached down to start stroking his own length. Emmet looked away but out of the corner of his eye he could see the monster writhing against the glass. Emmet shuttered, desire beginning to burn inside of him. Truly, he had been cursed. He turned back just slightly, enough to see Volo sprawled out, tongue hanging out of his mouth in a silent moan. His own tentacles were shoved inside his ass, undulating and stirring his insides. Emmet could see the outline of them on Volo's stomach as his cock twitched with each thrust. His other tentacles wrapped around him, tightly restraining him. He gasped and thrusted his hips back down onto his tentacles. Emmet could see him begging, the mirror offering no sound. Volo gave one more violent thrust down his tentacles, making him scream. He came all over the glass in a thick stream.
"Sir? Are you ready to battle?"
Emmet jumped and snapped his attention away from the window to see a trainer waiting. He looked back one more time, only to see Volo was gone.
"Umm, yes! My apologies. I'm a little under the weather. I am Emmet. I am a Subway Boss." Emmet stammered, trying to get back into his normal routine and ignore how tight his pants had become.
The rest of the day was exhausting, the entire time Emmet was paranoid of seeing Volo again. Luckily on the way home none of the reflections from before showed Volo.
"Hey Emmet, how about you shower and call it an early night?" Ingo suggested after dinner.
"Hmmm, yup. Probably for the best." Emmet said heading toward the bathroom.
In the mirror though, Volo was waiting for him.
Emmet jumped. "The fuck do you want!?" Emmet hissed out, trying to be quiet.
"Come on, Emmie. You already know." Volo pressed his backside to the mirror, looking over his shoulder with a devilish smirk. "You can top this time."
"Go to hell!" Emmet launched his fist forward, colliding with the mirror. The glass shattered and scattered all over the floor.
"Emmet!" Ingo rushed to the bathroom. "Are you alright!? What happened!?"
Emmet panted, holding his now bloody hand, "The... the mirror came loose from the wall. I stopped it with my fist."
"Sweet Arceus, are you hurt?" Ingo came over, examining his hand. "We should visit the ER."
Emmet nodded. His hand trembling. He could see Volo laughing in the shattered pieces below their feet. Ingo couldn't see him at all even though he was everywhere. Emmet bit his lip and tightly closed his eyes, hoping this madness would leave him soon.
