Routine

Summary:

Neteyam was almost certain that he’d royally fucked up. So much so that he refused to meet Aonung’s eyes, but then his chin had been gripped by the other’s hand and he was pulled into another kiss. This time it wasn’t rushed and Neteyam felt a wave of calmness wash over him at the implication that he hadn’t done anything wrong.

They fell into a routine after that.

Most of the time, they’d go back to Aonung’s marui. It started out with heated kisses and over the months gradually progressed to quick hand jobs in the middle of the night when they knew no one would come looking for them.

*

Neteyam and Aonung fall into a routine. Luckily for the them, neither one is willing to fall out of it.

Notes:

Hey Guys!

My second avatar fic! I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out so I hope you like it too.

Enjoy!

Work Text:

Neteyam couldn’t remember exactly when it was that he’d accepted that he was attracted to Aonung. Maybe it had been after everything had calmed down a great deal after they fought the RDA or maybe it was some time after that. Or—although he hadn’t wanted to think too much about it then—maybe it had been just moments after meeting the other boy, even if most of what he had been feeling then was anger.

He definitely remembered the first time they’d kissed though, inside Aonung’s marui after a particularly heated argument. It didn’t matter why they’d gotten into it in the first place but what did matter was the fact that Aonung had been running his mouth like he always did, insulting his family and calling him every name he could think of. The tension between them was thick so Neteyam did the only thing he could think of to break it...

He’d kissed him.

The kiss had been messy, mostly tongue and teeth but neither had seemed to mind. Neteyam was internally panicking and Aonung looked far too stunned to even consider saying anything else. He remembered the look that the other boy gave him when they broke apart—how confused he’d looked.

Neteyam was rarely seen being dragged away by Aonung. They tried to keep up their reputation of hating each other as much as possible. The last thing either of them needed was the inevitable teasing from their siblings if they were found out. The more he thought about it, the more Neteyam felt as though he could hear Kiri’s laughter.

Unfortunately—or fortunately for them, he supposed—the thing they’d resorted to were fake arguments. And this time, as always, Aonung was taunting him.

“Come on, freak! Don’t have anything to say?”, Aonung spat, hoping that his performance was good enough to convince his sister, who was standing beside Lo’ak, watching the pair as they fought. Neteyam narrowed his eyes at the other boy, feigning anger. Lo’ak didn’t seem too bothered by the words now, all too used to hearing his brother trade insults with the chief’s son.

“If you want to fight, we can fight”, Neteyam’s eyes darted from Aonung to the two onlookers and back again, “just not in front of them”. It was a lame excuse and he knew it, it wasn’t like they hadn’t fought in front of their siblings before, but it was the only thing that he could think of when he was this desperate.

Aonung had been teasing him all day, whispering things to him as he passed by on the way to the reef that Neteyam wouldn’t repeat aloud if you paid him. It just wasn’t fair! Why couldn’t Aonung be the one to be left half hard and wanting for him so desperately that he couldn’t think of anything else?

He ignored the little voice at the back of his mind telling him that he enjoyed the treatment that Aonung gave him.

“Not wanting to fight just because your brother is here? You’re getting soft, forest boy. What would your daddy say if he knew that his little soldier was trying to get out of fighting, hmm?”, Aonung’s voice was laced with venom—thankfully that Neteyam knew was false—and said forest boy was glaring at him from his spot on the beach. Aonung pretending to think on the enraged look Neteyam was giving him. “Fine, forest boy...are you coming or not? If you’re not worried I’ll kick your ass...”. With that, Aonung strode off towards his marui, leaving a still glaring (just for effect) Neteyam and two stunned bystanders behind him.

Neteyam tried his best to conceal the small smile on his face as he watched Aonung walk away. He turned to Tsireya and Lo’ak, giving them both a reassuring look and a quick ‘I’ll be fine’ before heading off in Aonung’s direction. He only got the chance to take one step into the marui before he was grabbed with strong hands and spun around until his back hit the wall of the hut.

“You deserve an award for that performance, you know that?”, Aonung chuckled, his words dripping with sarcasm. His hands were already moving from their position on Neteyam’s arms, travelling lower and lower until one was on his waist, the other tracing up and down the inside of his thigh. “Yeah, yeah, I get it. That definitely wasn’t the best”, Neteyam waved a hand dismissively at the other boy, praying that he didn’t notice the slight waver in his voice.

Aonung smiled at Neteyam ducking his head the slightest bit so he could kiss up his neck, stalling when he reached his ear before giving Neteyam a peck on the cheek. The way the other boy’s cheeks heated up was not lost on Aonung—neither was the satisfied sigh that he let out at finally being touched in any way.

“You really are as desperate for this as I thought you were, aren’t you?”. Neteyam knew that the question was rhetorical, but he nodded anyway, an impatient whine leaving him. What the hell was taking Aonung so long? Why couldn’t he just skip the humiliating details and fuck him already?

Aonung reached up to pull Neteyam into another kiss, letting out a loud laugh at just how frustrated the forest boy seemed to be getting. His lips moved messily against Neteyam’s as he moved his hand to undo his loincloth, leaving the other boy exposed to him. Neteyam let out a moan when he felt one of Aonung’s fangs pierce his lip. The pain was more than welcomed and it took all of his willpower to not ask him to do it again.

Aonung pressed his thigh between Neteyam’s, watching with a smirk as he brushed against his rapidly hardening cock. Neteyam let a broken moan escape him—the noise being far too loud—before a hand clapped over his mouth.

“I thought you wanted to keep this a secret, hmm? We can’t have one of your siblings hearing you, now can we? Or would you like to have someone hear you?”, Neteyam’s gaze fell to the floor and it was obvious that he’d struck a nerve of some sort. Not because he’d angered the other boy, but because he was right. “Oh...? So, that’s what you want, huh? You want everyone to know just how much of a whore you are for me? Then go ahead...”, Aonung lowered his hand from Neteyam’s mouth, moving it to wrap around his hard cock instead, eliciting another moan from the forest boy, “scream”.

“Fuck! Fuck...fuck...Aonung, please”, Neteyam panted out, trying desperately to keep quiet and failing miserably. Sure, everything that Aonung had said had been right, but he wasn’t sure what he’d do if it actually happened and he really didn’t want to find out anytime soon. Aonung was stroking him lazily, watching with a delighted expression as Neteyam’s frustration grew.

That’s what he liked so much about the forest boy, he was so easy to tease and Aonung enjoyed doing so just as much as Neteyam seemed to enjoy it. Of course, the shorter boy would probably want to kill him for it later, but it was all part of the fun.

“You look so good like this, Neteyam. So, so, good”, Aonung praised as his hand sped up on Neteyam’s cock, “I wish I could keep you like this forever. Completely at my mercy and practically begging for my cock. You want that, don’t you, forest boy? You’d love for me to fill you up, wouldn’t you?”, the words were barely out of Aonung’s mouth and already Neteyam was answering, a string of yes, yes, yes spilling from him.

Neteyam’s cock was leaking, drooling precum onto the floor that had created a small puddle. He knew it wasn’t fair, but Aonung decided that it was worth teasing the other boy about. “Look at the mess you made, Neteyam. In my fucking marui too. Do you think you should clean it up? Maybe I should have you on your hands and knees, licking it up”, he feigned the sternness in his voice, although Neteyam didn’t seem to realise. He opened his mouth to say something—maybe to object—but was cut off by Aonung.

“Don’t worry, forest boy. I’m only teasing you. Maybe we could give that a try a different time though, yeah?”, he was satisfied with the answer Neteyam gave him—a breathless yes as Aonung’s thumb swiped over the wet head of his cock, teasing the slit. Neteyam looked relieved, but Aonung could still see the desire in him. He wasn’t relieved because he didn’t have to do it, but because he didn’t want to suffer through more humiliation than Aonung had already put him through.

“Oh, fuck! Aonung! Please...please”, Neteyam didn’t know what it was exactly that he was pleading for. Aonung felt as though it were for release or for him to finally give up the games and fuck him; he supposed it could be both. He threaded his hand through the shorter boy’s hair, roughly pulling him into another kiss that dragged a high pitched whine out of the Neteyam.

“Don’t worry, Neteyam, I’ll give you what you need”, Aonung spoke against Neteyam’s lips, tugging softly at the braids caught between his fingers. He could feel Neteyam growing more desperate by the second and had to repress a moan of his own when the other boy began to thrust forward slightly, meeting the downward strokes of Aonung’s hand.

Aonung chuckled softly at the sight, only now aware of how painfully hard he was as he watched Neteyam get closer and closer to the edge. He pushed his own needs to the back of his mind; he could deal with that later. The variety of noises spilling from Neteyam’s mouth were beautiful, making Aonung remember why he enjoyed teasing him so much in the first place. It felt so fucking good, seeing the forest boy in such a state because of him.

All the fire there had been within Neteyam during their ‘fight’ had dissipated; all the tension in his body melting away under Aonung’s ministrations. Aonung prefers him like that; he reckons Neteyam does too. Neteyam feels safe with Aonung now, despite how things were going when they first met. He doesn’t have to be daddy’s little warrior, he doesn’t have to keep up his reputation with his head held high.

Things are different when he’s with Aonung, more relaxing. He allows himself to just be himself.

He can just simply be.

Like now when he was practically helpless being pinned down by the other boy. He didn’t have to worry about anything because he knew that Aonung was going to take care of him, to give him what he needed, just like he’d said.

The slick noises of skin on skin sounded impossibly loud in the otherwise quiet hut—minus Neteyam’s moans and pleads for release. “You’re so close, aren’t you, Neteyam?”, a nod was all he got from the shorter boy, “go on then, forest boy. Come for me”.

Seconds later, Neteyam was coming with a silent scream, lips moving in a way that made Aonung think that it was supposed to be his name if his voice hadn’t caught in his throat. Come spurted from Neteyam’s cock, covering his own stomach as well as Aonung’s hand.

They took a few minutes so Neteyam could catch his breath. Aonung gave him a quick kiss before he was pulling away from him, picking up the discarded loincloth and handing it to the other boy.

Aonung was the first to break the silence.

“I’m sorry”

Neteyam was taken aback by the words. Retying his loincloth, he took a few steps towards Aonung, meeting his eyes. “What for? You’ve done nothing wrong”, the confusion was evident in his tone, especially since Aonung looked as though he were ashamed of something.

“For what I said to you earlier. You are not a freak”

The sincerity of the words were surprising, yet it still wasn’t enough for Neteyam to understand. “You didn’t mean it. It was an act. You know this. We both do. There is no need to apologise”. Aonung reached up to cup Neteyam’s cheek, “Yes, but there was a time not long ago that it wasn’t. I was wrong and I’m sorry”.

The other boy looked stunned for a moment before opening his mouth to say something, but Aonung beat him to it. “You are not a freak”, he repeated, pressing his lips to Neteyam’s softly, “you are beautiful”.

Neteyam blushed, thanking Aonung before the moment was ruined by a loud call of Neteyam’s name. Shit, shit shit!

“My sister, she’s probably worried about me. I should go”, Neteyam sounded as disappointed as Aonung looked but they both knew that it was for the best if they wanted what was going on between them to remain a secret.

“Go”, he waited for the other boy to turn away from him before calling him back, “and, forest boy?”

“Yeah?”

A sly smile tugged at Aonung’s lips, “next time, I’ll fuck you. I promise”.

Neteyam laughed as he left the hut, making sure that he was a good distance from it before calling out for his sister. He sighed as he watched Kiri appear from the direction of the beach. Not only was he worried about how to keep his next meeting with Aonung a secret, he had some confusing feelings to sort out before then too.

There was no way he was going to sleep tonight.
