The Cats Pyjamas – AU Minlix Drabble

Minho was more than a little upset when Yongbok told him he would be going to Australia a couple of days ahead of the rest of the group. Of course he understood he wanted to spend a little time with his family but as per usual he couldn’t help himself where Yongbok was concerned.
He had wanted to spend heart day together, he had booked an expensive restaurant and bought Yongboks favourite perfume way ahead of time.
He wanted to travel to Yongboks homeland together so that he could witness how excited and happy Yongboks would be once they landed.
None of that mattered now Minho thought dejectedly, Yongbok was on a plane by himself to Australia, Minho just hoped he was safe. Yongbok had said he would text him once he got home to let him know he had arrived safely. The rest of group had been giving him a wide berth till he got that text knowing how agitated he would be until he knew Yongbok was safely home.
He received the text when he had landed back in Seoul the next day and his mood lifted a little, not a lot, but a little. He just had to get through the next few days and they would be together again.
Upon arriving back at the dorm his mood dipped again, without saying a word to Innie, who was trailing behind him, he marched to his bedroom slamming the door behind him.
He threw his bag into a corner of the room then spun round to go to the bathroom to wash up when he noticed a neatly wrapped parcel sitting on his bed with a note on top. He walked over to the parcel wondering where it had come from, it was then he noticed the note was written in Yongboks flowery script.
Sighing Minho sat on the bed next to the parcel and read the note;
I’m sorry we can’t be together on heart day this year.
This is just a little something to keep you warm while I’m not there.
I’ll see you soon my love we will be together again before you know it.
With all my heart.
Yongbok.
Minho sighed again reaching for the package, Yongbok always surprised him with things like this as he knew Minho didn’t like him spending his money on him.
Inside the package was a thick pair of black pyjamas covered in big yellow smiley faces that reminded him of Yongboks sunshine smile. In spite of himself Minho’s face broke into a wide grin, that little so and so he must have planted them here before they left.
Much later that night after washing up he donned the pyjamas and marched proudly out into the dorm, it was empty Innie was probably asleep. Damn it, nobody else was there to show his cute new pyjamas off to, he spun around marching back into his bedroom.
He picked up his phone feeling more than a little lonely in that moment, he opened bubble. Quickly taking a couple of selfies he posted the best one asking if STAY thought that his new pyjamas were cute. He got many replies of course the best one being from Yongbok ten minutes later in a private DM telling him how adorable he looked.
