Emmie was born into a powerful noble family that had a secret beneath their mansion’s floors. Her family, the Blakesley family, were hunters--no, not hunters of animals. Hunters of monsters that lurk in the shadows, terrorising innocent people and disrupting countless lives. Now, the Blakesley family were very good acquaintances with the Phantomhive family as they both worked for Queen Victoria on cases that involved the dark underground. However, after the tragic fire that burned the Phantomhive mansion and killed both Vincent and Rachel Phantomhive, there had been rumours in the hunting world that something dark was at play. Then when Ciel returned with a jet black butler, that’s when suspicion began to rise. Now, Emmie is being sent to portray the role of a woman looking for a job as a servant, but she must remain anonymous as she knows that Ciel would recognise her immediately. However it’s not hard to hide the smell of a hunter from a demon, so now she has the black butler set on a mission to corrupt her into falling for him so she forgets about her mission to destroy the demon that’s corrupting Ciel Phantomhive. Yet little does she know, she’ll just end up falling in love with him regardless. But how will she react when she learns the truth?

Season I takes place during the beginning of Black Butler, it will begin just a few months before the Phantomhive manor is burned down and the Phantomhive twins are kidnapped by the unknown cult. Emmie is at the age of eighteen during the first season.
Emmie will be thoroughly tested on her ability to hunt like she was brought up trained for. Countless cases that she had been dragged onto get her used to fighting and killing monsters both human and inhuman. However, this will be the biggest test of all. The new jet black butler, wearing a face so similar to that of the late Vincent Phantomhive, was handsome and everyone was falling for him. But, Emmie had to remain strong, she couldn’t let herself fall for him in case he truly was a demon. Knowing she would have to kill him, and having feelings get in the way would be truly difficult.
The job of a hunter is no easy career. It’s not even recommended that one becomes a hunter, knowing damn well it can very well easily get you killed. But if Emmie were to fall in love with the jet black butler, would she be willing to give up hunting to be a demon’s lover? Or will the love get her killed, from the demon manipulating her? No one truly knows, not even fate itself knows.
