Work Text:

Aphelios gripped at the low bars separating the crowd and the pit, ignoring the yelling of the audience easily, his focus fully on the fight before him. He had come looking for intel on Diana, but it was getting harder for Aphelios to peel his eyes off the man in the center of the pit. ‘The Boss,’ his current target to get information out of, was covered in dirt and blood, looking like he was having the time of his life.

“Brother, steady your breathing,” Alune said, knowing the other couldn’t feel his own heartbeat with the noctum coursing through his veins. Aphelios listened, inhaling and exhaling quietly. He needed to focus, no matter how distracting watching Sett move was. His movements weren’t graceful, it seemed clumsy the way he fought, and yet Aphelios couldn’t tear his eyes away.

“Studying the enemy closely, brother?” Alune asked, obviously noticing how long Aphelios had been watching the man. Perhaps if the noctum hadn’t been blocking out any emotions he felt he would have blushed in embarrassment at his sister catching him staring at their target. After a few more blows Sett was deemed victorious, throwing his arms up triumphantly, grinning wide. Sett looked off into the crowd and Aphelios swore he locked eyes with him. Aphelios withdrew immediately, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself.

Sett felt a bit dumbfounded as the Lunari disappeared into the crowd, nearly not believing himself as he registered the moon tattoo on the other’s face. He had heard of the Lunari tribe a few times through stories, but thought the group had been completely wiped out by the Solari. He tried to track the other through the crowd, but lost sight of him quickly, his attention being pulled back to the pit as the next set of fighters entered.

He left the arena as fast as he could, hurriedly pushing past people in the crowd that were congratulating him, trying to track where the stanger had disappeared to. Usually he would stand and gloat, letting the audience fuel his ego, but seeing the Lunari sparked something in him.

Aphelios could feel Sett following him. Sett clearly was no assassin, which helped Aphelios keep track of his movements even from a distance. The man was lucky Aphelios was only here for information and not his life. However, Aphelios hadn’t expected baiting the other out would be as simple as showing him his face.

“Brother remember to keep your distance, you won’t be able to defeat him in hand to hand combat,” Alune said.

“Yes sister, I am aware of his reputation and also witnessed what just happened to his foe in the pit, I will be careful, I must be,” Aphelios replied through their mental link.

Sett threw his head side to side, getting desperate to catch a glimpse of the Lunari again. He was getting annoyed, he never had this much of an issue chasing anyone out of his pit before. He took one more good look down the crowded street outside and felt his eyes widen. The Lunari was perched up on the rooftop of a restaurant down the road. Sett swore he was looking right at him. He took off down the road towards the restaurant, not taking his eyes off the man.

Aphelios watched as Sett made his way down the street towards him, easily retreating into the alleyway behind the restaurant, wanting to bait the other into a more secluded area; he did just intend on only getting information out of him after all.

Sett knew he was being lured into a potential trap, but the need for answers about the Lunari were eating at him. He remembered all the stories his mother had told him growing up about the people of the moon, how when she was traveling she had met them at Mount Targon and told him that they had the most beautiful and graceful fighting style. Many years later he and his mother had heard the news about the Solari wiping them out. Sett’s mother had been devastated, spending a few nights to herself to grieve the loss of some friends. However if this Lunari had somehow survived then perhaps some of his mother’s friends had too. He pushed forwards into the back alleyway, the lights dim, the sounds of the people in the street dulled. His ears twitched, trying to track any noises he could from the other man. Sett’s eyes narrowed as he watched the Lunari step out of the shadows.

“Hey there moon boy, I don’t want any trouble alright?” Sett said, throwing his hands up to signify he meant what he said.

Aphelios cocked his head at him before looking him up and down.

“Uh, eyes are up here sweetheart,” Sett scoffed, watching the other man’s eyes trail along his figure. Sett was sure this was the other man measuring him up, checking for any signs of weakness.

Aphelios’s eyes narrowed a bit as he looked back up at Sett’s face. He began to slowly sign to the man, unable to speak due to the effects of the noctum. Sett raised an eyebrow before shaking his head a little, “Sorry man, I don’t understand sign, ya got something you can write on? Guess it was a good thing I wasn’t itchin’ to pick a fight with ya,” Sett chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest.

Aphelios sighed, taking out a small notebook and pen he didn’t leave without. Sett wasn’t the first person he met who couldn’t understand sign language and wouldn’t be the last. He took a few moments to write before handing the notebook out to Sett.

“Ya came here lookin’ for someone and thought a pit boss would have the info you needed?” Sett asked after reading over the notepad. “Well I suppose I can help you, for the right price of course.”

Sett would be lying if he wasn’t already very interested in what a Lunari was doing showing up in his pit. Clearly he must be desperate for information if this is where he ended up going.
Perhaps it wouldn’t cost the Lunari much for his help, but Sett had to keep some sort of composure. He looked down at the Lunari, allowing himself to take a good look at him.

Pretty, his mind supplied. Sett’s ears twitched and he shifted uncomfortably. What the hell has gotten into him?

Aphelios reached out, taking his notebook back from Sett, his fingertips lightly grazing Sett’s hand and the sensation was enough to bring the lightest blush to Sett’s face. Thankfully the other had begun writing and hadn’t noticed.

Once finished he handed the notepad back to Sett so he could read it. “Ah, yeah, no problem moon boy, I had a feelin’ you didn’t carry a lot of gold on ya if you’re showing up to my pit looking for answers,” he replied, handing Aphelios the notebook back, “that being said, I’m sure we could work out some other form of payment,” he purred, beginning to grin down at him.

Aphelios’s eyes only narrowed at Sett’s response, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Brother be wary, I do not trust this man, he may seek to expose your location to our enemy, we are unsure how much the Solari has expanded since the war.” Alune said, Aphelios only grunting in response.

“You say something, hun?” Sett asked, ears perking up at the low sound emitted from Aphelios.

Aphelios simply shook his head before scribbling something down quickly in his notebook and turning it around so Sett could read it.

“Ah-phelios? Aphelios?” The half vastayan tilted his head for a moment before perking back up, “Aphelios! Is that your name?” Sett asked.

A nod.

“Huh, Aphelios, hm, checks out, such a pretty guy must have a pretty name to match!” Sett laughed, his smile genuine and bright.

Aphelios could feel his cheeks grow warm. How odd. The noctum normally took weeks to wear off, but ever since setting foot into Ionia the effects seemed to diminish faster than usual. Of course Aphelios had been somewhat prepared for that possibility, bringing an extra vial along with him.

“Brother are you.. flustered?” Alune giggled. Of course she understood the importance of their mission, but the two were still siblings and to Alune her brother would always come first. The moon knew this. “Refocus yourself, Phel, I can feel our connection starting to slowly weaken as is,” She added.

“I am not flustered, Alune,” Aphelios groaned back to her, “There is nothing to be flustered about.”

“Hey, so, uh, should we maybe take this somewhere else? I don’t usually discuss business in back alleyways, surprising as that may be,” Sett’s voice rang out, interrupting Aphelios and Alune. Sett was growing uncomfortable in the silence. “How about we head back to my pit, I can take ya down to my office and we can work out a deal that benefits the both us.” He said.

“Do you believe we can trust him?” Alune asked.

“We don’t have much of a choice, sister, he may have the information we need.” Aphelios replied to her, nodding his head to Sett.

Sett gave him a small grin and offered him his arm, “so we don’t get separated,” he said. In all honesty he was unsure what the Lunari was capable of and having one of his arms ensured a slight upper hand in case he tried anything.

Aphelios knew what the other was doing but took his arm anyways, an attempt at showing Sett a small amount of trust.

Sett looked down at their arms, how small Aphelios’s hand looked against his own skin. Sett knew he shouldn’t be surprised, he stood at least a foot taller, due to him being half vastayan. He cleared his throat as they began to walk, “so, uh, I don’t wanna sound rude or nothin’ but have you always not been able to talk?” He asked.

Aphelios shook his head.

“So you used to speak? I betcha got a real nice voice,” Sett said, to which Aphelios nodded, “So you.. lost your voice then, I guess I should wait to ask these sortsa questions once you’re able to write in your little notepad again and not while we’re walking huh?” He chuckled, looking back down at the Lunari.

Aphelios let out a soft sigh in response, one that without Sett’s hypersensitive ears, would have gone unnoticed. It was a cute, breathy sound, perhaps a sound the man would make while—
Sett had to stop his thoughts in their tracks. What had gotten him so riled up? Sure, after a match in the pit he’d usually unwind after with an escort, so maybe his body was craving that. Sett glanced down at the hand on his arm, long slender fingers, he was sure Aphelios’s hands would look small even on his— Sett shook his head, ears flattening a little.

Aphelios tapped his arm and cocked his head at Sett, seemingly to ask if he was okay.

“Yeah-yes! I’m good, real good, don’t worry about me, moon boy-I uh, mean, Aphelios,” Sett managed to say, “just uh, hold on, sometimes the halls here at the pit are bit crowded and rowdy,” he warned as they reentered the building. Sett nearly lost his mind when Aphelios did as he was told, his free arm moving to grasp at Sett’s arm, forcing Aphelios that much closer to him.

What really was only a few minutes felt like an eternity to the horny vastayan, but Sett was finally able to close the door behind him as they entered his office. He motioned to one of the couches, “make yourself comfortable,” he said with a small grin, “need anything to drink? I got a few Ionian specialties.” He added.

Aphelios carefully sat down on the couch, inspecting the room around him, which Sett was sure he was looking for viable escape routes if needed. Sett had no intention of fighting the Lunari, so it was a bit of an ego booster as a fighter to know the other respected his abilities enough to plot out an escape path. Of course he also wanted Aphelios to know he could be trusted too.

Aphelios pulled out his small notepad again, writing in it before turning it to Sett. Sett took a few steps and leaned down, “Hah, suprise ya, huh? Well if you say so moon-uh, Aphelios, I’ll pour you the best damn drink of your life.” He said, ears perking up with pride. A good drink was one of the few pleasures Sett allowed himself to indulge in. Escorts were one thing, but they were all emotionless hookups that left him feeling unsatisfied, but a good, stiff drink, that was something Sett loved.

He moved across the room again, pouring himself and Aphelios a drink before returning to the couch, sitting down next to the smaller man.

“Hope you can handle your booze, little Lunari, cause this right here is some of the best stuff money can buy,” Sett said with a proud smile, before clinking his glass against Aphelios’s, “to new friends in unexpected places,” he winked before tipping his glass back. Aphelios followed Sett’s lead, in truth he had never much of a drinker, hadn’t had the time for it since his entire life had been spent being a weapon for the Lunari. That being said, the times he did drink it had no effect on him, likely due to the noctum. He tipped his glass back, and what should have felt like a burning sensation down the back of his throat instead registered as any other fluid would; at least for a moment.

Aphelios’s body jolted forwards as he began to cough. He began to register pain surging through his body as he clutched at the front of his jacket.

“Whoa! Hey! I warned ya!” Sett laughed, unaware of the pain the other was feeling.

“Sister what is—Alune? Alune? Why, why can’t I feel your presence?” Aphelios thought, desperately trying to reform their connection, to no avail. He stood from the couch, only for his legs to buckle, collapsing back down next to Sett.

“Hey, hey, slow down Aphelios, are you alright? I’ve never seen someone react like this to a drink,” Sett said, moving to try to hold the other down on the couch so he wouldn’t try to stand again.

Despite the pain Aphelios’s arms snapped up, deflecting Sett’s before clumsily, standing again, pressing his weight against a desk next to him to remain on his feet this time. Whatever Sett had gotten him to drink had somehow negated the noctum. Sett had to have known, Aphelios had fallen right into a trap.

“Hey now, moon boy, I don’t wanna fight ya or nothin’ so how about you sit back down, alright?” Sett said, rising from the couch now, taking a cautious step towards Aphelios.

Aphelios knew he couldn’t fight Sett, not from close range and not in his current state. Regardless he stumbled backwards until his back hit a wall, Sett matching his steps. Once against the wall Sett used his arms to cage him there, “relax, man, I just want to help ya, please, let’s just get you back on the couch for now, alright?” He asked, ears twitching nervously. Aphelios weakly tried to push Sett away, but even if he had been at full strength it wouldn’t have worked.

Sett carefully wrapped an arm around Aphelios, the other still trying to pull away, which sent a twinge of guilt through Sett. Once he had navigated him back to the couch he stood in front of him, in hopes it would snuff any more attempts of Aphelios standing up out.

“Come on, just stay down for now, alright? What can I do to help? Water? I know ya can’t talk but I wanna help ya Aphelios.” Sett said, “here, where’s your little notepad at?” He added, squatting down, reaching a hand into Aphelios’s jacket, starting to palm him there.

“Nnnngg—“ Aphelios groaned, the sensation of being touched sending a jolt down his spine as he lurched forwards, his hands shooting out to grasp at the fur of Sett’s jacket to stabilize himself. Under the effects of the noctum Aphelios felt very little, so this, the feeling of Sett’s warm palm so close to him was foreign.

Sett’s ears perked up at the sound, his free hand moving to Aphelios’s shoulder in an attempt to stop him from falling forwards. “Aphelios? Are-are you alright? Fuck, I wish I knew what was going on, you’re scarin’ me,” Sett said, his voice a low rumble to Aphelios.

Aphelios looked up at Sett slowly, breathing deeply in an attempt to calm his senses. He couldn’t call out to Alune, he was completely alone and basically unarmed now. Thankfully he kept a small dagger on himself at all times in case something like this happened, but he knew how dangerous Sett was, but yet the other did seem genuinely concerned. One hand fell away from Sett’s jacket, moving to Sett’s hand that was still pressed against him, inside of his own jacket. He weakly guided it to the pocket his notepad was in with a small grunt, the sensation of Sett’s hand moving against him sending sparks of foreign sensations throughout his chest.

Sett gratefully grabbed the notepad, pulling his hand back now, holding the notepad out for Aphelios. “Here, uh, just take it easy, we’re going to figure this out,” Sett said, ears still twitching, picking up any small sound the other man was making. He knew it wasn’t the time or place but the little sounds were going straight to his dick.

Aphelios would have to be blind to not notice the bulge forming in Sett’s pants. That gave him an idea for a way out. He would play innocent of course, Sett seemed like the type that liked that anyways. He took the notepad from Sett’s hands, letting his fingertips trail along Sett’s for a moment longer than needed, which to anyone other than a trained assassin the effect would have gone unnoticed, but Aphelios saw the way Sett’s pupils dilated.

Aphelios had never had to use seduction as an escape tool, never had to use it to get intel he needed, had always been guarded enough to avoid it, but he was running low on options. He took his pen out, bringing it towards his lips, tapping it twice against his mouth, forcing Sett’s eyes there if not for a brief moment, before writing. He handed Sett the notepad after.

“You.. huh?! No! That drink wasn’t an aphrodisiac! Come on Aphelios, you think that lowly of me? …Actually don’t answer that, wait, does that mean you uh.. feel…” Sett’s voice trailed off as he swallowed nervously, adam’s apple moving noticeably as he did. “Wait, no, what am I saying? Aphelios let me help you, here, I’ll—” Sett began, but was cut off as one of Aphelios’s hands dropped from his jacket to his upper thigh. Sett’s eyes immediately left Aphelios’s face to watch his hand. Aphelios used the grip of his other hand, still fisted tightly in the fur of Sett’s jacket, to pull Sett from the squatted position in front of him back up onto the couch next to him.

Sett allowed the other to guide him there, his mind starting to drift, going hazy with desire. He knew his body was accustomed to sex after pit fights, but perhaps after today he would take a vow to himself to cut back a bit, unless he found himself in the company of a gorgeous Lunari boy. Sett placed a hand over Aphelios’s, who was taking much too long to get to his dick, guiding it there himself. Aphelios allowed this, not expecting the size however of the other man to catch him as off guard as it did. Sett let out a pleased noise as he watched Aphelios’s eyes widen.

Aphelios shook any thoughts from his mind, he couldn’t let this go far, he needed to escape to safety. As far as he knew this was all a ploy of Sett’s to trap him here for the Solari. Tempting as the man before him was, muscular, soft red hair, adorned with adorable pointed ears he wanted to pet terribly, he couldn’t give in. However, to get out he would have to give a little. He pressed the palm of his hand down a little more against Sett’s crotch, a low rumble beginning to come from the other before it was muffled. Aphelios had surged forwards quickly, pressing his mouth against Sett’s.

His first kiss, thrown away to something like this.

It was for his safety, Alune’s safety, his peoples’ lives, that was why he took a moment longer to kiss the other before pulling the dagger from his boot, burying it through as much of Sett’s jacket and couch as he could. He quickly threw himself back off of Sett, his balance still off from the drink and the pain, causing him to stumble back and fall on the floor for a moment before scrambling back to his feet.

Sett lurched forwards after feeling the pull of the dagger against his clothes, ears flattening a bit as he scowled, looking at Aphelios, “you tricked me?!” He asked, “oh man, I didn’t give you enough credit, huh, moon boy? Seducing me just for this? You really are something, ya know that? Wow, it's been a long time since I’ve been so intrigued by someone else, but you’ve officially caught my full attention,” Sett’s scowl turned into a dangerous grin, “now how should we do this then? Want me to count to ten before I start to chase ya? You won’t get far ya know, not the way you are now,” he said.

Aphelios began to stumble towards the door, vision blurring as he fumbled with the handle, the sound of Sett laughing behind him echoing in the room. He must have looked pathetic. He couldn’t give up though, dammit, he had to get out. Finally he was able to push the door open, nearly falling forwards into the hall. He kept himself steady using the wall beside him, moving towards one of the exits he had noticed while Sett had been escorting him through the building.

Sett gripped the dagger, easily tugging it out of his coat and couch before taking a moment to look it over, a crescent moon carved into the handle. He stood up, brushing himself off before dropping the blade on his desk and leaving his office. He glanced both ways down the hallway, raising an eyebrow when he didn’t immediately spot Aphelios. The smaller man couldn’t have gotten very far, he knew that. He inhaled deeply, easily picking up on the Lunari’s scent, it stood out like a sore thumb as much as the Lunari himself did.

Aphelios was struggling to keep his breathing steady in the dark storage closet. His mind kept wandering back to the sensation of Sett’s mouth pressed against his, how… well endowed the half vastayan was. He groaned, pressing his legs together, thinking that would solve something when the reality was it was only making matters worse. Aphelios had never had these urges before, sure he was aware they happened to people, but with the almost constant need to poison himself his body never had the opportunity to want someone. Aphelios’s mind was anywhere besides where it should have been when he heard heavy footsteps stopping in front of the door.

“Hmmm.. where could the little Lunari have gone?” Sett hummed in the hallway, a grin tugging at his lips, knowing the other was probably pressed up against the back wall of the storage closet praying he wouldn’t open the door. It was a shame, however, his prayers wouldn’t come true today. He grabbed the handle and opened the door, but instead of leaving it open and standing in the hall, Sett stepped into the small storage closet, letting the door close behind him.

Aphelios’s eyes widened, looking up slowly at Sett. “Found ya, mooncake,” Sett smirked down at him, taking a step towards him, caging him against the wall using one of his arms, palm loudly thudding against the wall besides Aphelios’s head. Sett watched as Aphelios’s adam’s apple bobbed slowly as he swallowed. He couldn’t help licking his lips, pressing a knee between Aphelios’s legs, only to be surprised that the other man was already half hard. “Oh?” Sett’s grin grew even wider, Aphelios now eyeing his dangerously sharp teeth, “seems like perhaps someone got a little too into that kiss earlier, I am known to have that effect on people after all,” Sett flirted, leaning down so his face was inches away from Aphelios’s. Aphelios nervously glanced away, his heart pounding in his chest, another sound Sett’s sensitive ears was able to register.

“So is this what you’re into moon boy? A chase?” Sett asked, pressing his leg against Aphelios’s crotch a little harder, causing the other to let out a breathy whine. Sett’s ears twitched, picking up that noise loud and clear. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he chuckled, “now come on hun, there’s no shame in letting yourself take somethin’ you desire from time to time ya know,” Sett said, voice low, his free hand moving beneath Aphelios’s chin, tilting his head up a little, forcing the other to make eye contact with him. Aphelios took just a moment to look at Sett’s face, his pupils were wide, wider than a human’s, presumably due to his half vastayan nature; next Aphelios looked at the scar that laid across his nose, no doubt a wound he wears with pride after a victorious fight. Sett’s ears twitched nervously, flattening a little under Aphelios’s studious gaze.

Sett wasn’t usually one to care about another person’s opinion about him, but there was something different about the Lunari man before him. He wanted his attention, his affection, even after such a short amount of time with the man, he felt pulled to him, like he had seen him before, known him before. He wanted Aphelios. He craved Aphelios. There was this carnal desire that had been slowly eating up at him ever since he had laid eyes on him in the audience of his pit. Sett had never felt so pathetically drawn to anyone in his life, why the man who clearly had immense trust issues was who Sett felt this way about was beyond him, but in this moment he didn’t care. Sett perked his ears back up, an attempt to regain his confidence and continue his attempt at seducing the Lunari, “something catch your eye, mooncake? Ya know, in most places staring isn’t very polite,” he said with a small chuckle.

Aphelios tore his eyes away from Sett’s face, nervously biting at his lip a little. Why had he just stared so long like that? He couldn’t have been debating on allowing this to continue… no, he had to plan an escape again. If he could get past Sett once he could do it again, surely he could do it again. Yet before he could make a move or even begin to plan an escape route he felt Sett’s weight shifting in front of him, his eyes snapping back forwards in time to watch as Sett kissed him, forcing him to stop biting his lip. It was a quick kiss, soft, almost tender, not the kind of kiss you’d expect from a man of Sett’s stature.

“Don’t look at me like that, I couldn’t bare to watch ya bitin’ your lip like that!” Sett laughed, a big, toothy grin spreading across his face at Aphelios’s flustered reaction. “Besides mooncake, if anyone should be biting your lips, it should be me,” Sett purred out, sending a shiver down Aphelios’s spine. Sett pressed his thigh against Aphelios’s crotch now, leg properly slotted between both of Aphelios’s. Sett leaned down, mouth next Aphelios’s ear, “well mooncake? Scared you might like it?” Sett asked, voice deep, his breath hot against the shell of Aphelios’s ear. It made Aphelios shudder a little. He took a small breath before reaching his hands out slowly, Sett watching, before placing both palms on Sett’s cheeks. Sett tilted his head a little, unsure what the other was doing, ears twitching nervously again.

Sett began to open his mouth to speak but was suddenly cut off when Aphelios pulled his face down towards his own, clumsily kissing him. Of course part of Aphelios was terrified of liking it, but his body had begun to submit to Sett like it was natural. The half vastayan was stunned for a moment, eyes still open, looking down at the Lunari, watching him kiss him before pressing back, letting his eyes close as he returned the kiss. Sett’s arms moved to wrap around Aphelios, both palms on the smaller man’s ass, easily lifting him up. Aphelios gasped against Sett’s mouth as he quickly latched his legs around Sett’s waist.

In this new position Aphelios could feel Sett’s length against the curve of his ass. His body felt like it was on fire. He was warm, unbearably so. He broke the kiss in an attempt to catch his breath, but when Sett rolled his hips upwards against him it made Aphelios whine. Sett’s ears shot upwards, picking up the sound. It made Sett chuckle, pressing a chaste kiss to the side of Aphelios’s forehead, “I heard that, mooncake, so ya do still have a little bit of a voice then.. let’s see if I can hear more..” he cooed before more roughly rolling his hips. Aphelios’s body shook, legs squeezing around Sett’s waist as another breathy sound was pulled from his throat. Aphelios gripped at the fur of Sett’s coat, shooting the larger man a glare.

Sett simply laughed in response, “what’s that look for, huh? I’m sure if ya wanted to get out of this hold I’ve got on ya you would have by now, isn’t that right moon boy?” Sett grinned, “you’re enjoyin’ yourself and I can’t blame you, hopefully you can handle getting fucked better than you handle your booze though,” Sett chuckled, hands moving to tug at the waistband of Aphelios’s pants and underwear, slowly pulling them down his thighs just enough for his ass and cock to be freed. “Well, well mooncake.. I’m.. wow..” Sett trailed off mid sentence, eyes very clearly on Aphelios’s crotch. Aphelios began to panic, no one had ever seen him in such a way; he attempted to close his legs, but since they were wrapped around Sett the best he could do was move to the side a little, which just made Sett chuckle, “no, no, don’t get all shy on me now, sweetheart,” Sett said, using a hand to guide one of his legs back over, letting him get a proper look again, “you’re just.. bigger than I’d expect for a human your size,” he said, eyes moving back down for a moment before looking back to Aphelios’s face. Aphelios, however, was looking down now himself, eyes trailing the bulge in Sett’s pants, a hand dropping from Sett’s coat now to brush against it.

Sett let out a mix of a growl and moan at the sensation, a sound that would be engraved in Aphelios’s brain forever. “Careful there mooncake,” Sett said, voice low, “I’m already doin’ everything I can to hold back, if you start getting handsy with me I’m not sure I’ll be able—”

A squeeze. A quick, simple squeeze from Aphelios’s hand was all it took for Sett to throw all caution to the wind.

“Alrighty then,” Sett growled, using one hand to hold up the Lunari, his other hand now tugging his own pants and boxers down to his knees, his cock now heavy in Aphelios’s hand. “Hope you’re ready hun because I’m not holdin’ back anymore, I know you got fight in ya so I’m sure you can handle it all,” Sett grinned, watching Aphelios’s eyes widen at the full sight of him. With his free hand he pressed two figures into Aphelios’s mouth, the other biting down for a moment, shooting Sett another glare before realizing why he was doing it. He relented, releasing Sett’s fingers before allowing the other to continue pressing into his mouth. Aphelios was unable to meet Sett’s gaze as he swirled his tongue around the half vastayan’s fingers, his face red.

“Fuck… what I wouldn’t give to feel you do this to my cock mooncake.. I bet you’re real good on your knees,” Sett purred, eyes locked on the man in front of him. “Perhaps.. some other time..” he cooed, pulling his fingers from Aphelios’s mouth, moving them down towards his entrance, “but for now.. I’ll give you little bit of prep, I may be a very impatient man, but I don’t wanna break you.. at least not just yet,” Sett chuckled, slowly easing his fingers into Aphelios.

The sensation made Aphelios tense up, which just made Sett laugh softly in response, “come on moon boy, relax, it’ll feel real good soon, I promise,” he said. Aphelios took a breath, his body relaxing a little again, which allowed Sett to slip his fingers in down to his knuckles. The feeling made Aphelios shake in his arms. “Now then.. where is…” Sett hummed, curling his fingers now, which caused Aphelios’s jaw to drop, a breathy moan, louder than before, spilling from his mouth. The sound went straight to Sett’s dick, twitching against Aphelios’s stomach. “Dammit mooncake.. I’m going to lose all control if you keep making those sounds.. you’re so gorgeous, you’re going to drive me insane,” Sett murmured against the shell of Aphelios’s ear.

Sweet nothings, Aphelios was sure of it, Sett probably said the same things to anyone, but in this moment he didn’t care, he needed more. Aphelios rolled his hips, which caused Sett’s hand that was still supporting him to squeeze tightly as the half vastayan chuckled low again, “careful moon boy, don’t want you finishing on my fingers,” he said, purposefully pressing his length against Aphelios’s thigh, “wouldn’t want ya missing out on the main event after all.”

Aphelios groaned, swallowing thickly before barely whispering, “hurry.” Pathetic, probably, but Aphelios needed this before he could convince himself he didn’t. The warmth of a body against his own, the feeling of being wanted, he would let Sett take him here to ensure he would never need this again.

He watched as Sett’s ears shot up, his eyes widening for a moment before grinning, “don’t have to tell me twice,” he murmured, slipping his fingers out, spitting on his hand and taking a moment to run his saliva over his cock before beginning to press it against Aphelios’s ass. “Tap my shoulder twice if ya need me to stop alright? Once to slow down..” he looked at Aphelios’s face as he spoke, who nodded in response.

Aphelios wasn’t too worried about the pain, he was sure years of taking the noctum had dulled out most of his senses anyways. Yet when Sett pressed into him he could feel a slow burning sensation that caused him to cry out, the sound so foreign even to himself that he bit down on his lip hard enough to draw blood in response. The sight made something in Sett snap, surging forwards to press his mouth to Aphelios’s, the taste of the other’s blood sweet on his tongue. Aphelios’s soft whines were muffled against Sett’s mouth as he pressed deeper into Aphelios until he was fully seated inside of him.

Sett broke the kiss, looking to Aphelios to see how the other was holding up. Aphelios simply nodded in response, rolling his hips a little in hopes it would get Sett to start moving again. The sensation of being so full had Aphelios’s head spinning, but he wasn’t about to let Sett know that, he didn’t need to feed into the larger man’s ego. Sett couldn’t help but grin as he pulled back and slammed into the Lunari, which caused Aphelios to let out a soft, breathy moan in response.

“Fuck mooncake, if you keep getting a little louder everytime I move I’ll have you screaming by the end of this,” Sett whispered, smirking at him as he rolled his hips roughly again, “though I suppose this isn’t the place to have you screamin’ is it? I’d have to take ya home some time for that kind of a treat.”

Aphelios knew it was an empty offer, or at least he thought it was. He wasn’t aware of how incredibly smitten the half vastayan had become with him. Something about the Lunari felt familiar, comfortable even, which wasn’t something Sett was used to feeling around people, especially not ones who dug daggers through his clothing and furniture.

“Am I losin ya moon boy? My dick that good you’re already imagining having it again?” Sett chuckled lowly, squeezing at Aphelios’s ass harshly with one hand, the one that had been supporting Aphelios this entire time, while his other hand carded through Aphelios’s hair, tugging at it gently.

Aphelios glared at him before rolling his hips again, which made Sett growl. “Careful bunny, I’m really doing my best here not to break ya, but you’re starting to make it really hard.” Aphelios, not one to back down from challenges himself smirked in return, before whispering, his voice barely recognizable as such, “can handle it.” He was grateful for Sett’s inhuman hearing in this way.

Sett shook his head, a smile still spread across his face however, “alrighty then, but don’t say I didn’t warn ya,” he said, using one hand to take off his coat, laying it on the floor of the closet, causing Aphelios to raise an eyebrow before Sett moved, laying him down on it with a delicacy that was foreign to Aphelios. Sett somehow managed to do all this without leaving Aphelios’s body, the warmth addicting to the larger man. As soon as Aphelios was laid beneath Sett he grinned down at him, “It’ll be much easier for me to ruin you for anyone else like this, mooncake,” he winked. Aphelios rolled his eyes, opening his mouth to whisper a retort when Sett snapped his hips forwards, the sensation causing Aphelios to choke on his words.

Aphelios could do nothing but whine and squirm as Sett began a brutal rhythm that even had Sett panting. “Hah-fuck.. I’m impressed moon boy, this is usually where humans have to tap out..” he breathed heavily against the shell of Aphelios’s ear. Aphelios knew he had no right to be jealous of Sett’s previous conquests, but it bubbled up in the pit of stomach faster than he could react. Perhaps he would ruin sex for Sett too, make him think back to this moment the next time he decided he needed this sort of company, make him ache for Aphelios the same way Aphelios was sure he would ache for Sett now.

Aphelios, who had been clutching onto Sett’s jacket originally, reached up quickly, not giving Sett the luxury of reacting, fingers wrapping around the base of Sett’s ears. Sett froze mid thrust, breathing suddenly becoming shaky. “Aphelios,” he said sternly, a shiver going down Aphelios’s spine because of it, “I recommend you be awfully careful what you do next, my ears.. they.. uh..” before Sett couldn’t even finish his sentence Aphelios’s mind was already made up, gently stroking upwards, fingertips tracing up the sides of Sett’s ears. “F-fuck..” Sett growled, slamming into Aphelios now, abandoning any cares of who would hear if they walked by the closet door. The sound of skin slapping against skin echoing loudly in the small room, accompanied by the small chorus of “ahhs” that Aphelios was all but singing now.

“You-you really are somethin’ else mooncake, you know that? Really-fuck-really know how to get a man’s attention..” Sett groaned lowly, moving a hand now to fist it around Aphelios’s cock, beginning to jerk him off in time with his thrusts. “Gunna-shit-gunna fill you up, gunna breed you good, gunna make sure you feel me for weeks to come.. you got that? You’ll remember this.. remember me, remember who you belong to.. shit… m’close bunny..” Sett growled. Aphelios was sure it was all to get him off, but belonging to Sett, what heaven that must be, but the words were working, and so was Sett’s warm grip on him.

“S-Sett..” Aphelios moaned out, voice only a little more clear than before, but it was enough for Sett. The sound went straight to his dick, thrusting forwards hard one last time before spilling into Aphelios, the sensation in turn causing Aphelios to throw his head back and lift his hips upwards, coming into Sett’s hand with another quiet cry of his name. Despite the volume Sett was sure it would echo in his head for weeks to come.

The two lay there, breathing heavily as they came down from their highs. “Shit.. Aphelios.. that.. fuck.. you did so well,” Sett said, cock still buried into him. He moved to brush Aphelios’s bangs from his face. “Let me treat ya to dinner, we can discuss that business you needed to talk about there, I’ll help you find whoever it is you’re lookin’ for, promise, as long as you promise me I can take ya home for dessert,” he grinned down at Aphelios.

Aphelios knew he’d get an earful about this all from Alune later, he was sure of it, so he figured he might as well make sure the scolding was thoroughly worth it. He smiled up at Sett and nodded back before whispering, “as long as you’re paying.”

Sett threw his head back, laughter echoing loudly in the small closet, a sound that Aphelios would grow to love hearing more and more as the days they spent together passed. And as for Sett, he was just happy to hear the other any chance he got.
