Erling Haaland became just the third player in history – and the first for nine years – to score five goals in a single UEFA Champions League game as City beat RB Leipzig 7-0 on Friday.

Luiz Adriano was the last player to achieve the feat back in October 2014 as Shakhtar Donetsk beat BATE Borisov 7-0 away from home.

That came two years after Lionel Messi’s five for Barcelona against Bayer Leverkusen in a 7-1 win at the Camp Nou.

Haaland has now scored 10 goals in the UEFA Champions League this season, the most by a City player in a single season in the competition.

Our 8-1 aggregate victory over RB Leipzig means we have qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the sixth successive season.

Haaland’s five goals means his remarkable scoring record in Europe’s elite knockout competition continues. He now has 33 goals in 25 Champions League games, reaching the 30-goal milestone in fewer matches than any other player in the competition’s history. He is also the youngest player to reach 30 goals in the history of the competition (22y 232d).

And the Norwegian has now scored 39 goals in all competitions this season - breaking Tommy Johnson's club record of 38 in a single season set in 1928/29.

Congratulations to Erling for reaching yet more memorable milestones.

Okay okay no one remembers or cares but since it's international break and all, I was going through some old late January-early February post match interviews with City players and this is what I found from BT Sports 👀

Hm…interesting how every other player celebrated with their partners, kids and family but Erling and Julian were with each other the whole time 🤔. Interesting how they did lap of honor together. On the result and the team's performance…

If I am being honest at one point I thought everything was lost. I thought, "We let go of a good chance again." But then at half time Julian (Alvarez) said something, I don't remember everything– mostly in Spanish and Rodri, Máximo (Perrone) had to translate; I still don't remember clearly what it was. But he was hugging me and saying some nice things because I was very upset about the first goal from PSG. But I guess you could say in the 90th minute the stars aligned. I mean you could see we needed that goal, that momentum. Because everyone knew, if we scored, there was nothing that could stop us from winning. We scored the equalizer and the rest is history, I guess.

On the equalizer…

Like I said, we knew we had to score. And we always say "Oh wait for the perfect chance" but what if the perfect chance came after an hour the game ended? So we got agitated to bring the chance to us, we couldn't just wait. And in the 90th minute we brought the chance to us. The pass from Julian to Kevin (de Bruyne) was so beautiful, I could admire that for so long but then the ball was at my feet and then at the end of the other goal post. Once we scored, it was over we were winning, you could see it even in the PSG players' faces. And then Kevin scored and now I am here with the winners medal.

On the celebration…

If I am being honest, I don't even remember correctly what happened! I was going to do the finger gun celebration but I was so happy I forgot everything! I just ran and opened my arm, I didn't think he (Julian) would jump into my arm! But he did and we just stayed still because we just didn't know anything else for awhile. Then Kevin started shouting, "Alright boys, we have a match to win."

Okay so to explain to all of you– Erling was at the stadium for the Argentina vs Chile final. And based on how there's pictures of Julian's family with him, I am willing to say that Julian got the tickets. Anyway at halftime, Erling came down on the pitch, talked with Julian and for some reason he and Antonella clicked?? Then maybe Julian said something I don't know but Scaloni invited Erling to sit with them on the bench!?

But wait there's more. Enzo and Erling started talking like they were besties, it was weird. Anyway Argentina won, hurrah and all that. But then, then the team starts going to the locker room and Erling starts going the other way but Julian stops him? And he and ENZO started ARGUING with SCALONI. I couldn't hear what they said but I assume Scaloni gave in because Julian was dragging Erling into the tunnel and I guess they celebrated because of the pictures and insta story.

The Premier League has seen its fair share of player-manager fights over the years. We have a new addition to that long list. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and manager Pep Guardiola had a heated argument during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Everton on Thursday.

While Everton stepped ahead with Demarai Gray's opening goal, Manchester City conceded their first goal of the season. John Stones canceled Gray's goal for Everton before Erling Haaland’s second half goal sealed a 2-1 win for the Mancunian side. 

Erling Haaland, instead of being delighted over the win, was seen in a heated argument with manager Guardiola.

There has been speculation about who the Manchester City star could be dating for some time now. And finally there's some answer to that question when the Norwegian and his alleged partner were spotted passionately kissing in his car during a Greater Manchester outing this week.

Haaland, 23, was seen gently holding the mystery brunette's face as he leaned over from the driver's seat of his Ferrari and locked lips with his partner.

Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland are set to be out for January, after the Norwegian sustained injury in his side's 1-0 loss to Leeds last Sunday and the Argentine being issued match bans.

Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez was handed an eight-game ban for pushing referee Anthony Taylor in the team's Premier League loss against Leeds, the English Football Association (FA) announced on Thursday.

According to the FA, an Independent Regulatory Commission issued Alvarez with a three-match ban for violent conduct. This was in addition to the three-match ban he had already received for the red card offense.

This comes as a double blow after Erling Haaland is set to miss up to four weeks after sustaining a knee injury during the match.

They visit Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday day before resuming their FA Cup campaign next week against West Ham, with the Manchester derby and away game against Chelsea, both live on Sky Sports, also coming up.

@amacatnow Okay so this is a long one. There was this video where the idea basically was that Julian and Erl would make traditional food from the other's respective countries and do a taste test to see who did it better. Right off the bat they started helping each other which was defeating the purpose of the challenge! So we had to stop them and redo multiple times. But then, Erl accidentally ended up lightly cutting his finger. So we called the team medic but Julian was not letting anyone near him, he wanted to do the aid. We said alright then. My guy was so scared of accidentally hurting big Erl that he was hesitating a lot 😭. But Erl reassured him and they hugged out and by the time his finger got bandaged, we had to leave the studio. So safe to say that video never got properly filmed.

Time for the wackiest wack story you'll ever hear. So I was at a local store and while my brother was wailing about not getting more Bounties, I saw a tall man in white hoodie and I was like, " bitch hold on I know that man". I was damn tired so it took me like 2 minutes to get to the point of, "shit that's Haaland." Then I looked further and noticed Alvarez was there too 🧍and the two of them were like shopping shopping, like your annoying best friends who just moved in together type. Anyway I shouted "HAALANDDD" and my guy must have been so scared 😭 but he was so sweet asked me if I supported City and I was like duh. Then I came to my senses and asked for an autograph and he put forward his hand and we stared at each other like this 🧍🧍. I realized he was probably asking for a shirt or something to sign on but I literally had nothing but my shopping cart 😭. Alvarez then magically appeared with a shirt and a pen and both of them signed the shirt. We talked a bit and they were like 'ha ha we are here to buy some butter and all that' I was like 👍.

TV: Okay, you must have been asked this question a thousand times now but since it's been a year, how is the UK to you now?

JA: Sometimes I miss Argentina, but I have gotten used to being here. Sometimes you have to make home wherever you end up. The weather still bothers me, that's all (laughs). 

TV: Yeah the English is horrible (laughs). So you're brother's a footballer too, right? Any chances he'll join us? 

JA: (laughs) Maybe, I don't know. 

TV: Speaking of brothers and family, I couldn't help but notice how whenever you talk about your partner, you have this glow in your eyes like they are the sun reflecting on yours. How is it dating in this tight schedule? 

JA: I am honestly so lucky that both of us 'work' together. They are more crazy about football if I am being honest! Relationships are difficult when you are working, and we have to give all our focus on it. And sometimes we do face problems but I think every couple do. But communication is key and we are patient with each other, so…it's working out amazing (grins).

TV: We are so glad to have somebody who you know supports what you do because that's very important. And are you happy? 

JA: Very.

TV: It must feel amazing to have someone be passionate about football as much as you, if not more.

And it appears Manchester City Striker Erling Haaland, 23, is off the market as he was seen packing on the PDA with a mystery friend.

Looking good! Manchester City ace Erling Haaland showed off his incredible physique while going for a swim with a mysterious pal at Boca Chica beach in Texas on Thursday. 

During  one of their conversations, the mystery pal swatted away any seaweed floating his direction and Haaland looked giddy as they exchanged a few laughs before walk to shore together.

Erling might be scoring in the Premier League but it looks like he is scoring well outside of the pitch as well. The Norwegian and his friend were spotted taking a dip and relaxing ahead of the striker's World Cup campaign.

The Norwegian and his friend spent a few hours at the beach after which they were seen chilling at Santa Monica Baldi, which has developed a reputation as a celebrity hot spot. Sources say the pair spent the entire day together, only separating when a fan asked for a photo. The two looked quite cozy, with the mystery man even placing a hand on the footballer's back as they made their way to a waiting car.

Y'all I spent thousands of dollars for this so this post better not flop.

So Erling went to a celebrity hot spot yesterday for dinner in Vancouver right? So I did some "digging" and turns out it's a restaurant called "St. Augustus Restaurant & Resort'', a veryyy expensive place (rip my wallet 🥲). So I went there and asked around and did find some interesting stuff 👀.

So this dish is called "Fernando VII Pizza" which the restaurant serves ONLY on Fridays between 6-10 PM.

Now Julian was somewhere yesterday in Vancouver with someone right? And they were dancing on a rooftop that overlooks The Orpheum Theatre right? I googled around and turns out only 2! places can give you a view like that in Julian's post. (1) The rooftop of St. Sebastian Hospital nearby. This couldn't be it because it's been closed for 60 years now and not accessible to the public unless you have permission from the Canadian Government (and i feel like someone like Julian wouldn't go through this amount of trouble for a tiktok)

The second place? Rooftop of St. Augustus Restaurant & Resort 😏. But it could just be a coincidence right? Not! I went to the rooftop (rip mah bank account).

This was taken by me near the place that looks over the Orpheum Theatre. See that pearl thing? It's a candle type decoration that they lit up every year on 29 June to honor their late founder's birthday. This also has a time limit, 6-7 PM.

See that glowing light at around 15 seconds? That's a pearl decoration glowing! Don't believe me? Go on the restaurant's website, they have the exact same images of the decoration there.

The staff wouldn't give out much (and much respect to them for it!!! Queen shit) but they did say a "celebrity" reserved the rooftop from 7.20-7.40 PM to be with "someone". Erling was seen leaving at 8.10 PM and Enzo posted a story on his insta with Julian at 8.15 PM near the Light Show, 5 minutes away from the restaurant 👀. 

Also also, the song playing in the tik tok? Video Games by Lana del Rey, a song Erling was listening to in loops yesterday as per his Spotify update account. And the caption, “I wish I knew how to quit you.” is from BrokeBack Mountain, a book Erling said he loves a lot 😗.

So in conclusion — (1) Erling and Julian were PROBABLY in the same restaurant at the SAME time, (2) The person on Julian's post in PROBABLY is Erling and vice versa 🙂
