What if...

Summary:

He held her hands like their live depended on it, and maybe it did.
Mono swore that six would drop him,but he was wrong.

Or

What if Six didn't drop Mono?

(This is my first time writing something like this, + English isn't my native language, it'll probably be bad)

Work Text:

Mono ran in the bridge, feeling it fall from behind him. He could feel the way that it was becoming harder and harder to breathe.
He was running on autopilot when he jumped, maybe the adrenaline made him forget that if he fell, he would die.but it didn't matter, he trusted that Six would hold him, and he was right, she did.

"Six, please, don't let me fall!"Yeah, Mono trusted her,but he wasn't sure if she would actually push him up.

Six was trying to, but who knew that being transformed into a giant monster and then being transformed back into your small human form could exhaust your muscles?

Mono held Six's hands like his live depended on it, and it did, but Six wouldn't let him fall, right?
He swore that she would let him fall, but he was wrong.

With all the strength left, Six pushed Mono up.

"Six! Six, are you ok?" Mono asked as he hugged Six harder than the other times.
"Yes," Six answered simply.
"Can you walk?" concern filled Mono's voice.
"I don't know." "Do you want help?" "Yes,"

Mono got up and offered his hand to Six, who smiled as she got up using his hand as support. He then put his arm around Six's neck, she then used one of her arms to put it around Mono's waist.
they walked out of the building, and soon, the 2 of them were out of the "TV universe."

"What happened to your hat?" Six asked when they sat on the roof of one of the city's buildings
"Got tired of it, you know? "The boy said, "But! I've got MORE hats!" Mono said as he pulled up a police hat.
