Waterlogged Dreams

Summary:

Yes man wakes Sable from a wet dream.

Work Text:

“Yes, baby, please.”

How did they get to be like this? With her forehead pressed to his screen, she feels the slick layer of condensation beginning to form from her labored breath ghosting it.

“Y-Yes Mmmph—ah!” She doesn’t have much time to consider the question as his name catches in her throat, stunted by a heavy exhale under his ministrations. She isn’t exactly sure what he is doing to make her feel this way, it’s all so hazy, but she does know that he has her held tightly against his metal frame, she can’t help but buck against him.

“Oh—Yes Man!” She let out a loud broken moan, and another one, louder and more desperate, “Yes Man!” And—

“Sable?! What’s wrong?”

Suddenly the strong arms around her were gone, so too was the bright light that bled through her eyelids even when her eyes were squeezed shut. Leaving her in darkness.

The scene was so quickly wrenched away from her that she’s briefly thrown into a panicked déjà vu, reminiscent of awakening in Doc Mitchell’s house not so long ago. The same confusion of not being sure of where or who she was hanging over her.

There was someone talking, and had been for a while. Her eyes shot around the room to find the source but couldn’t. It seemed to come from all around her and though she could hear just fine, she wasn’t aware enough to process what was being said.

“Sable! Can you hear me?”

“Yes Man? Where’re’ya? Why’d’ya drop me?” She slurred sleepily.

“I’m… in the Lucky 38’s mainframe? I’m not sure what you’re referring to but I would never drop you, unless you wanted me to!”

“Huh? What’s… going on?” She stared dumbly at the ceiling and rubbed an eye.

“You were yelling for me! You sounded like you were hurt.”

“So we weren’t…” She started but slowly her senses were coming back to her. She’s disoriented, sweating, twisted up in the sheets. She glanced down and realized her hand was stuck down the front of her sleeping shorts, moisture accumulating between her legs. It was a dream. Oh god, it was just a dream. She ripped her hand from its lewd position and quickly wiped it on the sheets. She felt her glowing cheeks could’ve been visible to the naked eye if she blushed any harder. She knew for a fact that Yes Man had that accursed thermographic camera that he used to spot enemies in complete darkness, she hoped that it didn’t give anything scandalizing away.

“Are you hurt?”

“No. “

“So it was a nightmare?”

“N-No.”

“Then I’m glad! I think it’s special you were dreaming about me! What was I doing? Was it funny?”

Sable shoved her pillow over her face in embarrassment. So she had been moaning his name her in sleep. Great.

She can save this though.

“Oh, N-Normal stuff. You know.” It came out higher pitched than she meant it to.

“I actually don’t! I’m just a dumb robot after all!”

She rolled her eyes at his self-deprecation. “I told you to cut that shit out.”

“Sorry… Force of habit! Please tell me, I’m curious~”

That playful tone of his was going to be the end of her.

“You were—we were, um…” She trailed off.

“We were… what? I can’t take the suspense!”

Suspense! That’s it.

“We were… testing your suspension.” She cringed, it didn’t sound as suggestive in her head.

“Huh. That’s unexpected. If you weren’t having a nightmare I was going to guess, well, I’m not sure, but from the intensity of your voice that it would’ve been something more exciting! How was it?”

She flushed. “How was what?”

“My… suspension? Sable are you alright? You seem distracted, more so than usual! And you heart rate and body temperature are elevated.”

“Oh, ha, yeah. I’m fine.” She chuckled a little. “It was really, really good.”

“Hm.” He seemed to weigh what she had said.

There was an uncomfortable silence. Sable tensed. Was he on to her? She bothered with her bottom lip. Was he going to call her bluff?

Just when she was about to open her mouth to confess to her more unscrupulous thoughts, he let out a laugh.

“Humans dream about the strangest things! You seemed really passionate about testing my suspension, but maybe it’s a sign it needs to be done soon!”

Sable grabbed the pillow tighter to her face and bit it to stop a scream from escaping. She was crimson to her ears now. She couldn’t believe she had been tempted to let that particular cat out of the bag. That had been close.

“Yeah Yes Man, I agree.” She squeaked.
