Chapter Text
Where did it all begin.. Let's see..
Ah yes.
Let us start when you and your twin came to Tevyat.
Much like the previous twins that came 500 years ago, you two appeared like shooting stars.
Your first city was Mondstadt, and you both were welcomed kindly.
And you two both knew where you two were.
So you began working hard.
Whilst your twin disappeared, seeming to be traveling.
You worked tirelessly, assisting the city, and using the knowledge, you managed to gain friendships that you could never have back in your previous life.
You even had some crushes on Diluc and Lisa.
But you didn't let it affect your life too much.
After months, you never realized people's stares turned vicious.
you never noticed the prices of products whenever you buy from them, rises.
It began with whispers.
Then moved onto jeers.
Even going as far as to throw things at you and telling you to leave.
When you visited the square, you found Jean there, with the knights behind her, all serious.
"[T/S/N]! You are under arrest for identity theft and Physical abuse against [Y/n]!" Two knights grabbed your arms as you looked around in confusion.
You tried to voice your innocence, but found no one listening.
"Wait! Please! Even if she did bad things, please let her go! She's my only living relative here!" A familiar voice.
It sounded like your voice.
No, it was HER voice, impersonating yours.
"[Y/n]! You shouldn't be out here!" Barbara called out softly, following after '[Y/n]'.
There, right in front of you, was another you. Dressed and hair styled to the T.
That wasn't you.
"[T/S/N]!! What is going on???" You called out in shock, but she 'flinched', and shrunk herself.
Jean stood in front of her protectively.
"As punishment according to the law, you will be brought to prison for 5 months and receive three scars on your face along lashes all over you body during your time in prison." And you were dragged off while you kept wailing your innocence.
During those five months, you have endlessly been starved and bled.
The lashings were deep, nearly enough to render you unable to walk. You've grown malnourished, a walking skin bag of bones.
Your left eye was blind due to having three cuts across them and left without medical treatment, causing it to get infected.
They even went as far as to slice your throat deep enough to damage your vocal cords while they merely tied a cloth around your neck to stop the bleeding.
With no voice, you only had your thoughts.
You shouted in the empty corridors of your mind, expressing the injustice brought on you, screaming to the heavens above in your mind.
But no prayers were answered.
Upon your last day, you were visited by your twin.
Two knights were with her, and they glared down at you in disgust, grabbed you by your arms and dragged you out of the prison towards the Whispering Woods.
They left you there with your sister who asked them to leave so she can 'give you supplies'.
"You're so lucky y'know.. Living after this long? I must say as well, during my time traveling, I made my connections, using your name, faking my injuries that 'I' did it. You won't be able to get help." she snorts and brings out a claymore as several rings appeared on a necklace she wore.
"Hmm? Oh these? These are all engagement rings.. Yes, I'm engaged to several people.. Specially to Diluc.." she giggled, showing off the rings.
You screamed, but no noise came out whole she started chopping your limbs.
"Phew! Now, there will be no way for you to take revenge, as you'll die! And just to be sure.." She dragged your limbless body to a raft at the beach of beginnings, and pushed you off, waving.
Your body laid on the raft.
The sun was glaring on you.
You're thirsty and hungry.
And dying.
A sudden shade came over you, your blurry eye saw a large boat, with several heads poking over.
You swore you saw a familiar minty periwinkle colored hair.
When you opened your eye, it was bright, and cold.
Your shoulders and hips were bandaged along with your left eye with the scars.
"I see that you're awake." A voice purred, and you turned your gaze to a man with a heavy grin while a black mask covered his eyes.
"Come, the Tsuritsa wants to meet with you." And he lifted you from the bed to the wheelchair, pushing you out and through a large hallway.
The cold gradually grew stronger, noting that you were getting closer to seeing the Tsuritsa.
Your eye met frigid blue ones, her face remained impassive.
"[Y/n], you've been charged unreasonably by the one you call kin. We can offer you salvation, or revenge. Whichever you choose, as your knowledge is valuable to us. Dottore will be constructing some tests on your body to find a suitable form yo meet the requirements it needs to be treated."
You nodded in response before wincing at the pain.
"Dottore, you may begin."
