ALPHAS:
Known as the more typical “dominant” class, alphas take on more of a leader role in their communities/packs. More aggressive alphas tend to wear muzzles as they lash out more often than not, but some alphas choose to wear them if they are not mated and do not wish to bite their partner before they are ready to form a mating bond with said person. Aggressive alphas are more often than not muzzled by a higher-ranking alpha, until they have proven that they can be trusted to be around other betas and omegas, the muzzle stays on.
Alphas go through a rut once a month for a week like omegas do with their heat.
While in a rut the alpha will breed their partner as many times as possible to have pups. To ensure the alpha’s seed will take, there will be a knot that forms at the base of the penis, which will pop when the alpha orgasms locking them in place. The knot will slightly inflate inside their partner making it impossible to pull out without injuring the alpha or the person who is knotted. It takes about thirty minutes to an hour for a knot to completely go down. So, quickies aren’t usually in the cards for alphas who don’t know how to pull out.
Alphas have sharper teeth than the other classes, so their mating bites hurt more because of it. The whole process tends to bruise their partner's neck for a couple days as the venom needs to sink in and change their partner scent, as well as their own. In that time the newly mated pair will find it difficult to leave each other’s side for a couple of days. The couple has to scent each other regularly or risk the venom possibly attacking the bitten partner. If not scented regularly the bond may break and cause both parties to experience pain and loss. This is why most unmated people choose to wear muzzles and collars during sex to prevent such accidental biting from occurring.
The usual scents that alphas have include woody and earthy smells, for example pine, fresh cut grass, pencil shavings, sandalwood are the smell of a typical unmated alpha. They tend to pair up more with omegas and betas, but there are alpha/alpha pairings. Those relationships tend to be more volatile as the need to dominate one another is very present. Some families choose to arrange marriages between female and male alphas, so they have a better chance at producing stronger children for future generations.
Male alphas have the typical male reproductive system and cannot get pregnant. Female alphas on the other hand have the ability to be pregnant and impregnate others. They can’t impregnate male betas or male alphas, as they don't have any uteruses. Both male and female alphas can however impregnate male/female omegas and female betas. While female alphas can get impregnated by male alphas, male betas, and male omegas.
BETAS:
The middle/”neutral” class.
They don’t experience heats or ruts like the other classes but can help with them if they choose, but how well they can do it depends on who you ask. Betas usually fall into roles of service, like maids, market people, and etc.
Their teeth are duller than other classes so they can’t form mating bonds on their own, they would need to be bitten by an alpha or omega.
Their typical scents include neutral plant/herb like smells, for example things ginger, sage, and cloves.
Most betas usually tend to pair up with each other, though some prefer the presence of an omega or alpha. Once mated with either one, they start to fill the role of the alpha or omega that is ‘missing’ from the bond. With alphas their bodies still struggle to accommodate a knot, but with the alpha venom flowing through the bite, the beta will start to produce ‘slick’ to help trick their bodies into fitting the knot. Meanwhile with an Omega’s venom, the beta’s stamina becomes more durable to keep up with the unsuitable omega. These changes only happen when an alpha or omega is going through a rut/heat.
Male betas have typical male reproductive system, they can impregnate but cannot get pregnant. They can’t impregnate other male betas or male alphas. They can however impregnate female betas, female omegas, female alphas, and male omegas. The female beta has a typical female reproductive system and can be pregnant but cannot impregnate anyone. They can be impregnated by male alphas, male betas, female alphas, and male omegas.
OMEGAS:
Typically known as the “lowest”/ “submissible” class, omegas get this reputation from their relationship with the other two genders. Most omegas fall under the roles of a caretaker or diplomat. It is recommended for omegas to wear collars, out of all three classes, they are considered the most vulnerable to mating bites and are the ones mostly affected by it. The collars are specially made to be durable against sharp alpha teeth and can only be removed by the wearer. It also helps to block their scent glands making it less harsh on other people’s noses. Out of all the genders the omega has the strongest and most identifiable scent.
Omegas go through heat once a month for a week like alphas do with their rut. They can produce copious amounts of slick which helps with their partner entering inside them. During their heat they are not in a clear headspace and will only want to breed. Their slick also acts as an endorphin, so with that and their already overwhelming scent this just succeeds and makes their partner want to breed them even more.
Omegas have sharp teeth, not as sharp as an alpha’s. They have their own kind of venom like alphas, but it is not as powerful. An omega bite will only leave a mark for two days and there is not as much pain and bruising. Also if mated with an omega a alpha/beta will not feel the constant pull to be around their partner like an alpha venom would make them behave. Still the process of scenting your newly mated partner is still important, because if the omega feels rejected that is when their venom will hurt the person they bit. So, in turn the bond will be weakened and possibly broken. This is why, once again, it is recommended to wear your muzzle and collar while having sex. Especially if you do not want to be unwillingly mated and go through immense pain to be unbonded.
An omega’s typical scent would smell like fruit or flowers, for example strawberries, lemons, daisies, or vanilla. Alpha/Omega pairings are most common for this class. Omega/omega relationships aren't as rare as one would think. Some omegas just simply prefer omegas, and beta/omega is common too. In some omega's words, one might find alphas to be harsh and dominant, and prefer a bond with someone less volatile. All though in some communities it is expected of omegas to mate an alpha for a better chance at having numerous children and giving their family more generations to come. As mating with another omega or beta the percentage chance of having a child either one is significantly lower than with an alpha.
Male omegas have penises, but they also have a vagina and uterus. They can’t impregnate male alphas or male betas. They can impregnate other omegas, female betas, and female alphas. But it is more likely from them to be impregnated by male alphas, male betas, and female alphas. Female omegas have vaginas with a typical female reproductive system. They are not able to impregnate anyone. They can be impregnated by male alphas, male betas, female alphas, and male omegas.
