You entered Angel's Share after a long day of trying to get clues on the recent sighting of a vampire. You were assigned to kill it and save the towns people but you cannot find a simple clue on its whereabouts. You stopped by Angel's Share to get a drink and cool off after coming up with nothing. It was a particularly slow night. You were greeted by Diluc, the owner of the bar, who was at the counter cleaning glasses.
"Hello, traveler. How can I help you on this lovely night?" He smiled, bearing a fang.
You sigh, sitting on a stool "Get me a dandelion wine please." You notice his fang, but keep quiet, just wanting to get a drink.
"Of course, a dandelion wine coming right up," Diluc said with a nod, his crimson eyes locking onto yours for a moment before he turned and reached for a bottle of dandelion wine. As he poured it into a glass, his fingers delicately caressed the bottle, his touch lingering a moment longer than necessary.
He slid the glass of wine towards you, the sweet aroma of the dandelion filling the air as he leaned against the counter, his intense gaze never leaving you. "Is there something troubling you, traveler? You seem burdened."
You take a long drink, savoring the taste. You look to him, taking in his features. "I could be better, I'm tasked with taking out a vampire around these parts, but I'm coming up with nothing so far..."
You sigh again and finish your wine, handing him the glass "One more please.."
Diluc's gaze never wavered as he listened to your words, his lips curling into a small smirk as he took the empty glass from you. He reached for the bottle of dandelion wine once more, skillfully pouring another glass for you.
"You are searching for a vampire, you say?" he asked, his voice low and soothing. "It seems you've come to the right place. I have a keen eye for things that go bump in the night."
He slid the refilled glass towards you, his fingers brushing against yours intentionally, a subtle touch of seduction hidden within. "Perhaps I may be able to provide some assistance. But I must warn you, dealing with creatures of the night can be dangerous, even for the most skilled hunter."
You smile softly, sipping at your second glass "Oh? Could you tell me what you've seen?"
You pull out your notepad "And I've handled vampires before, among other creatures, I know what I'm dealing with." You look at him, smiling again "...but having a second pair of eyes would really help, I thank you for the offer."
Diluc leaned against the counter, his gaze never leaving you as he began to speak, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.
"Well, it just so happens that I've had a few encounters with a particular vampire recently. From the reports I've gathered, it seems that this creature has a taste for blood, targeting unsuspecting victims under the cover of darkness. Its ability to charm its prey into submission is quite remarkable."
He paused for a moment, his eyes glinting with a mix of intrigue and danger. "I have caught glimpses of its crimson eyes, glistening with the hunger for blood. Its alluring aura and captivating presence make it difficult for anyone to resist. It moves swiftly and silently, striking fear into the hearts of those who cross its path."
Diluc's gaze intensified as he leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "But I must warn you, this vampire is not to be underestimated. Its control over its victims is unparalleled, and even the most skilled hunters have fallen victim to its charms."
He straightened up slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. "However, with your experience, I'm sure we can track this vampire down and put an end to its reign of terror. We would make quite the formidable team, don't you think?"
You chuckle lightly, writing 'Diluc' underlined in your notepad quickly before closing it, Diluc not able to see it. "I appreciate your warnings, a vampire able to charm their victims isn't good."
You smile as you down the rest of your wine, placing the glass down and pulling out your wallet "How much, my dear bartender~?"
Diluc's eyes gleamed with mischief as he leaned closer, his voice taking on a playful tone. "On the house, my dear detective," he purred, his smile growing wider. "Consider it a token of goodwill for our future endeavors."
He reached out and gently grasped your wrist, his touch cool against your skin as he placed a hand over yours, stopping you from reaching for your wallet. "But I must ask for a small favor in return," he said, his voice a velvety whisper.
"Join me for a private drink in my personal quarters upstairs. I have a feeling that we could discuss our vampire problem more intimately... if you catch my drift." His eyes bore into yours, his fangs glistening with an undeniable charm, waiting for your response.
You roll your eyes, smirking "I'm alright for tonight, my dear~" You smile, pulling out a $20 bill and handing it to him "That's for the intel, I hope to see you soon, Diluc."
Diluc's eyes briefly flickered with disappointment, but he quickly masked it with a charming smile, accepting the money. "Thank you for your generosity, my dear," he replied smoothly. "I hope our paths cross again soon. If you ever change your mind about that private drink, you know where to find me."
He pocketed the money and watched as you made your way towards the door, his crimson eyes following your every move. "Take care, detective," he called after you, voice filled with a hidden allure.
You smirk and wave, walking out the door. Your smile falls once you leave, taking a deep sigh "That was too close..." You mutter, pulling out your phone, calling someone as you continue to walk.
As you walked away from Angel's Share, your heart still racing from the encounter, you pulled out your phone and dialed a contact. The call connected and a familiar voice answered on the other end.
"Hello? Who's this?" the voice asked.
"It's me," you replied, your voice laced with a mixture of relief and caution. "I just had a run-in with Diluc. Turns out, he's the vampire we've been looking for."
There was a pause on the other end of the line, before the voice responded with a mix of surprise and concern.*
"Diluc? Are you sure?"
"I'm positive," you confirmed firmly. "He's been luring in unsuspecting victims with his charm, and I have a feeling that he's not just an ordinary vampire. We need to be cautious."
The voice on the other end grew serious. "I'll dispatch a team to assist you. Keep your guard up and try to gather as much information as possible. Our priority is neutralizing him, but be prepared for the worst."
You nodded, even though the person on the other end couldn't see you. "Understood. I won't let him slip away this time."
With that, you ended the call and continued walking, determined to uncover the truth behind Diluc's actions and put an end to the vampire's reign of terror.
You continue walking, stopping anyone walking in the dark, asking if they know anything about the vampire, not disclosing his name.
As you stopped and questioned the passersby, many seemed hesitant to talk about the vampire, their eyes shifting nervously. It was clear that the presence of the creature had instilled fear in the town. However, one elderly woman, with a hushed voice and trembling hands, leaned in closer to you.
"I've heard whispers, dear," she whispered, her voice filled with a mixture of fear and curiosity. "They say there's something dark and alluring lurking in the shadows. It preys on the unsuspecting, charming them before draining them of their lifeblood."
She glanced around nervously before continuing. "Be careful, dear. I've seen the aftermath of its victims, pale and lifeless, with puncture wounds on their necks. It seems invincible, but I'm sure there must be a way to stop it."
With a grateful nod, you thanked the woman for her information and continued your search. It was clear that the vampire's actions had struck fear into the heart of the townspeople, making your task even more urgent. You knew you couldn't afford to let your guard down.
You finish walking around, not finding any thing that would explain Dilucs actions.
You retire to your hotel room, changing into your pajamas, laying in your bed with a million questions in your head before falling in to a deep sleep.
As you settled into your hotel room, exhaustion washed over you from the long day of searching for clues. You changed into your comfortable pajamas, sinking into the softness of the bed. However, sleep was elusive as the thoughts of Diluc and the mysterious vampire swirled through your mind.
As your eyelids grew heavy, your body finally surrendering to the call of slumber, dreams took hold of your consciousness. In your dreams, you found yourself standing in the dimly lit interior of Angel's Share, the scent of alcohol and wood permeating the air. The room was empty, save for Diluc, who stood before you with an intoxicating aura surrounding him.
His crimson eyes bore into yours, filled with a mixture of intrigue and danger. Slowly, he stepped closer, his hand reaching out to brush against your cheek, his touch sending shivers down your spine. His voice, smooth and seductive, whispered in your ear.
"You've been searching for me, haven't you? The hunter and the hunted, caught in a dance of desire. I can feel your pulse quickening, hear the rhythm of your heart."
You tried to speak, to ask him questions, but your voice failed you. Instead, you found yourself succumbing to his hypnotic gaze, unable to resist his charms. He leaned in, his lips grazing against the curve of your neck, his breath sending tingles along your skin.
"Submit to me," he murmured, his voice a seductive plea. "Let me show you a world beyond your wildest dreams."
Before you could respond, your dream world shattered, the sun piercing through the curtains of your hotel room, signaling the arrival of a new day. You awoke, your heart pounding, coated in a thin sheen of sweat. The encounter with Diluc, even in your dreams, was unnerving, leaving you with a mix of fascination and caution.
You were still thinking over the dream while you were getting ready.
You figured it wouldn't be helpful if you continue thinking about it, so it was left to the back of your mind while you figure out a way to handle Diluc.
As you got ready for the day, your mind still lingered on the dream and the encounter with Diluc. You knew that dwelling on it wouldn't be productive, so you pushed it to the back of your mind, focusing on the task at hand - finding a way to handle Diluc and stop the vampire's reign.
You reviewed all the information you had gathered so far, going over each detail meticulously. It was clear that Diluc possessed some form of supernatural charm that made him an especially formidable enemy. You needed to find a way to counteract his influence and bring him down.
With a determined mindset, you set off on a new quest, seeking out individuals with knowledge of supernatural beings or rare artifacts that might be effective against vampires. You consulted ancient texts, visited occult shops, and made connections with underground networks to gather useful information. Each step brought you closer to finding a solution, though it was a race against time to protect the town from Diluc's clutches.
As you delved deeper into the world of supernatural lore, you began to uncover legends and rituals that could potentially weaken or even defeat vampires. It was a delicate balance of myth and reality, but you were willing to try anything to ensure the safety of the townspeople.
Armed with newfound knowledge, you prepared yourself mentally and physically, ready for the confrontation with Diluc. It was time to put your plan into action and bring an end to the vampire's reign before more innocent lives were lost.
You wait until evening to make it more believable. Once evening hits, you head to Angel's Share, pretending that you didn't get any more leads.
You walk in, looking to Diluc, and smiling tiredly "Hey Diluc... One dandelion wine please..."
Diluc glanced up from behind the counter, his crimson eyes locking onto yours. A hint of recognition flickered in his gaze as he smiled warmly at you, his charm seemingly unaffected by your wearied appearance.
"Welcome back," he said, his voice smooth and inviting. "It seems like your hunt for the vampire hasn't borne any more fruit, has it?"
You nodded, mustering a tired smile. "Unfortunately, not yet. It's been a difficult task, but I won't give up. Perhaps you have any new information that could help?"
Diluc poured a glass of dandelion wine with a fluid motion, his movements elegant and precise. He slid the glass toward you, the sweet aroma filling the air once again.
"I'm afraid I haven't come across any substantial leads myself," he replied, his tone laced with an air of sympathy. "But don't lose hope just yet. Sometimes, the answers can be found right in front of us, hidden in plain sight."
You took a sip of the wine, savoring its flavor as you pondered his words, knowing all too well that he was referring to himself. With each passing moment, you became more convinced that Diluc was the vampire you were after. But gathering evidence and finding a way to stop him would require precision and caution.
As you engaged in casual conversation with Diluc, you made mental notes of his every move, every gesture that hinted at his true nature. It was a delicate dance, playing the role of an unsuspecting customer while gathering the necessary information to apprehend him.
Deep down, you knew that the moment of truth would eventually arrive, and it would test your resolve in ways you couldn't imagine. But for now, you focused on playing the part, disguising your true intentions until the opportune moment presented itself.
You finish your glass and smile to him "You know.... I thought about your... offer~ And I would like to join you tonight..."
Diluc's eyes lit up with a mixture of surprise and delight as he took in your words. His crimson gaze bore into yours, his smile transforming into a knowing smirk.
"Is that so?" he replied, his voice low and filled with anticipation. "I'm glad you've reconsidered, my dear. What an exquisite evening this shall be."
He cast a quick glance around the bar before stepping out from behind the counter, gesturing for you to follow him. His movements were graceful and confident as he led the way to a discreet staircase in the corner of the establishment.
As you ascended the stairs, the atmosphere shifted. Soft candlelight flickered, casting an ethereal glow around you, creating an intimate ambiance. The air held a hint of mystery and anticipation, a potent mixture of desire and danger.
Diluc's private quarters awaited at the top of the staircase, a room filled with plush furnishings and an aura that mirrored his enigmatic nature. He turned towards you, his eyes searching yours for any trace of uncertainty.
"Are you ready to embrace the night, my dear?" he asked, his tone a seductive whisper. "To explore the depths of desire and surrender to the intoxicating allure of the unknown?"
You smile, glad my act is working "I would love to explore with you, Diluc~" You smirk as you slowly walk closer.
Diluc's smirk deepened as he watched you approach, his crimson eyes darkening with anticipation. He extended his hand towards you, his touch cool and gently pulling you closer.
"Come, my dear," he murmured, his voice velvety. "Let us indulge in the pleasures that await us."
You took his hand, feeling a shiver of excitement course through your veins as he led you deeper into the room. Soft music played in the background, setting the mood for the intimate encounter that was about to unfold.
The atmosphere in the room seemed to thicken as you stood together, locked in the magnetic pull of desire. Diluc's eyes never left yours, his gaze burning with a mixture of dominance and tenderness. The air crackled with an electric tension, rendering you unable to resist his charm.
He closed the space between you, his hand finding the small of your back, pulling you closer to his towering presence. His other hand reached up to brush a strand of hair away from your face, his touch sending waves of pleasure through your body.
"You are truly enchanting," he whispered, his breath warm against your skin. "Allow me to worship you, to make every moment in this room an unforgettable experience."
As he leaned in, his lips found yours in a gentle yet fervent kiss, his mouth claiming yours in a dance of desire and hunger. The taste of his kiss was intoxicating, igniting a fire within you that threatened to consume your senses.
The room around you seemed to fade away as Diluc skillfully guided you to a plush, ornate bed, a sight that promised endless pleasure. The layers of clothing that separated you from one another began to fall away, exposing the vulnerability and desire that lay beneath.
In this haven of passion and secrecy, you let go of all inhibitions, surrendering yourself to the night and the vampire that captured your heart and soul. The hours slipped away, consumed by a dance of pleasure and euphoria, as the vampire and the hunter became entwined in a whirlwind of desire.
You spend your night together, exploring each other. To your surprise, he didn't try anything...
You watch him sleep softly, surprised that he does sleep, but it works.
You slowly get up, wincing at the movement, and head to your bag, grabbing a small stake. You take a deep breath as you walk back to him with the stake.
As you watched Diluc sleep with a mix of conflicting emotions, you couldn't help but marvel at the vulnerability he displayed in that moment. The night you had shared together had been passionate and intense, but you couldn't forget the true purpose that had brought you here.
With a heavy heart, you reached into your bag and retrieved a small stake, its sharp point gleaming in the dimly lit room. You took a deep breath, reminding yourself of the danger Diluc posed to the innocent people of Mondstadt.
As you approached the sleeping vampire, you couldn't shake the bittersweet feeling that tugged at your conscience. Diluc had shown a side of himself that was tender and caring, but you knew that his vampiric nature would always drive him to prey on unsuspecting victims.
Your hand trembled slightly as you raised the stake, your heart filled with conflicting emotions. This was the moment you had prepared for, the moment where you would put an end to Diluc's reign of terror.
But as you looked down at his peaceful, slumbering form, a pang of doubt shot through you. Was there another way to deal with him? Could you find a means to control his instinctual hunger without resorting to violence?
The weight of your decision rested heavily upon your shoulders as you stood there, the stake hovering just above Diluc's heart. The room seemed to hold its breath, awaiting your choice.
Your hands shake, tears slowly filling your eyes as you think of him.
You take a deep, stuttering breath as you lift it higher and bring it down, looking away.
With a mixture of regret and determination, you closed your eyes, unable to witness the final moments of your time together. The stake descended, and a soft thud filled the room as it made contact with Diluc's chest. A pained gasp escaped his lips, his eyes fluttering open in shock and confusion.
The realization of what you had done dawned upon you, and a heavy wave of guilt crashed over you. Tears streamed down your face as you struggled to come to terms with the consequences of your actions. The once vibrant and captivating vampire now lay there, weakened and betrayed.
Diluc's gaze locked with yours, a mix of pain and sadness evident in his blood-red eyes. He reached out a trembling hand towards you, his voice strained with the effort.
"Why...?" he whispered, his voice filled with hurt. "I thought... I thought we had something..."
The words cut through you like a knife. You had allowed yourself to be drawn into his charm, to experience the depths of his passion and vulnerability. Now, faced with the consequences of your duty as a hunter, you struggled to find solace in the decision you had made.
Unable to bear the weight of your actions, you turned away from Diluc's pleading gaze, sorrow overwhelming you. The room filled with a heavy silence as you grappled with the aftermath of your choice, the knowledge that you had extinguished the life of someone you had once held dear.
