Work Text:

Touya learned how to be sneaky long ago, once he started training by himself against his Father's wishes. He learned how to hide things and avoid suspicion.  He liked to think he was pretty good at it by now, but he knew at some point someone was bound to find out.

He'd gotten good at tiptoe-ing through the house without being noticed by now, stepping around any creaky floorboards and sneaking into his Father's study while everyone else was asleep.  He closed the door quietly behind him and flipped on the light, going for the bottle of bourbon on the desk, face beaming like he'd seen an old friend.

It was a miracle Enji hadn't noticed by now, Touya was pretty good at not taking too much, watering it down after or drinking on days his Father had already drank so he'd be less likely to notice that more alcohol was missing than usual.  It's been maybe a year by now that he's been drinking and no one noticed.

Of course no one noticed, it was one of the perks of Touya being a failure and not worth any attention…

He wasn't a fan of the taste or the way it burned going down his throat, but he liked how numb it made him. He liked that it made the pain of his burns less noticeable. He liked that it made the constant waves of emotions he always felt subside. He liked that it made the thoughts and memories stop circling around and around in his head. It didn't make his problems go away but it made him not notice them as much.

It didn't really take much to get Touya feeling it, his face getting warm and room beginning to spin as he sat in his Father's chair and sipped on the liquor. After a short while he was already getting loopy and giggling to himself, not as aware of his surroundings as he should've been since he did not hear his Father's footsteps in the hall.

The door flew open like the man knew , angry eyes fell on Touya and cycled through slight surprise to intense frustration, slamming the door loud enough it shook the room.

"Touya," his voice boomed, making the boy sit up straight, the loopy smile falling off his face in an instant, "What are you doing in here?"

Touya stared for a minute at a loss for words. He'd figured Daddy had an idea one of the kids were taking his liquor by now, and he knew he'd be found out eventually, but he was caught red-handed with an open bottle on the desk at possibly the worst time.

"... Nothing." He said, as innocent as he could manage (and rather stupidly, too) and Enji's expression warped into one of rage.

"It sure doesn't look like nothing." He took large strides to stand in front of the desk, monstrous form towering over where Touya was sitting. "Why are you up this late, in my study, drinking my liquor? What are you doing?"

The alcohol soaking his brain was making it hard to come up with an excuse, or reasoning, or an apology.  Touya just sat there with that uncomfortable urge to smile out of nervousness and repeated, "No– Nothing."

The palm of his Father's hand came across his face hard but Touya didn't process the sting of the slap until a few seconds later. It wasn't the first time his Dad struck him, and he wasn't really surprised, if anything it just caught him off guard.  His hand came up to soothe the throbbing on the side of his face, barely opening his mouth to try to get out an apology before Enji cut him off.

"Every time there's some kind of issue in this house, it's always you. Every time!" Large hands grabbed him by the upper arms, hauling the boy from the chair and shaking him vigorously, "Why do you have to be such a problem? Why can't you just be quiet and stay out of trouble like your siblings? Why is there always something with you?!"

Touya didn't have an answer, letting himself be jostled back and forth like a rag doll. Clearly, his Father wanted an answer, an explanation for why Touya just couldn't be a good child, but he doubted any reasoning would be good enough.

"What is it for, attention?  Is this another cry for attention?"

Perhaps. Maybe subconsciously. It wasn't like Touya really did a whole lot to avoid being found out, and it wasn't like having his Father's focus be directed towards him in the moment didn't make him fill with excitement as much as it filled him with fear.

"Well, you've got my attention now. Are you happy?"

Touya nodded without really much thought, and the grip on his arms tightened painfully.  Enji's face hardened, his jaw set and eyes burning with anger while he looked at him.

There was a lengthy silence, and Touya could hear his heart pounding in his chest.  It stretched on for a few moments before he managed to get a sentence out now that he wasn't being violently shaken. "I just… I like it."

Father narrowed his eyes, shoving him back against the desk and crossing his arms as he looked at him like he was trying to figure out what to do with him.  The disappointment on his face hurt Touya to see.

"I'm sorry, I… I dunno. It makes me feel good."

"The alcohol?"

Touya nodded.

"You're twelve." Father grumbled, reaching past him to grab the neck of the bottle and take a few gulps himself. "How long have you been stealing my liquor?"

"I dunno… about a year, or so…" he stammered. "I'm sorry, Daddy. It just makes me feel better, makes the pain go away, helps me not think too much–"

"That's the problem. You don't think enough . What makes you think this kind of behavior is acceptable in my house?" Father swished around the liquid in the bottle while he spoke, looking at it rather than Touya, "What am I going to do with you?"

Touya didn't know, and honestly it scared him a little.  Enji was an angry man, and he had two types of anger.  His explosive anger the family had come very accustomed to. That was the kind of anger he normally resorted to when training wasn't going as expected, or Rei was babying the children, or he had a bad day at work. Yelling and breaking things, fists and flames and bamboo sticks, the explosive rage that came in fast and full force.

There was another type of anger though, with this… Calculated, malicious intent behind it.  He didn't yell or blow up in a rage and then be done with it.  He took his time picking apart what made him angry and making sure you'd think twice before it ever happened again.

"Alright. You want to drink, drink then." He took another large gulp then shoved the bottle into Touya's chest. "Don't just look at me with that stupid expression, boy, drink!"

Touya hesitated, frozen in place and unable to understand. When he didn't obey fast enough, the bottle was pushed to his mouth and tipped back, Father's free hand grabbing him by the hair to hold his head up so he couldn't turn away on instinct.

The glass clanked against his teeth and busted his lips and gums with the force, burning alcohol flowing into his mouth faster than Touya could swallow it, excess escaping to soil his clothing and splash onto the floor.  Only about half the bottle was used, and only a portion of that made it into Touya's stomach, but it was enough that combined with what he drank earlier it was definitely going to hit him hard in a little while.

Father stepped back then, watching Touya cough and gasp for air for a mere second with a look of disgust on his face before grabbing him by the wrist and pulling up his sleeve.

There was the reveal of old burns and blisters on Touya's arm from quirk overuse, and Enji's face twisted further with anger as he grabbed the boy's shirt and pulled it off, eyes scanning the array of fresh blisters and burns covering Touya's torso that he'd been trying to hide.  Without a second thought, he poured the liquor down over the wounds.

Touya's initial shriek of pain was quickly muffled by a hand clamped over his mouth, pushed down onto his back on his Father's desk and more bourbon was poured onto his burns, causing a sharp, stinging pain to course through him.

"Shut up!" Father hissed through clenched teeth, setting the bottle down for a moment. His hand pressed harder over Touya's mouth while his free hand laid on his side, heating up at an alarming rate, "So help you God, if you wake up your siblings or your Mother…"

The threat is left open ended, up to Touya's imagination, but he was far more focused on the feeling of his skin bubbling and melting under the burning hand on his waist.  Father held him down against the desk with his body weight, eyes tracking his hands as he began to burn large areas of skin on Touya's sensitive sides, stomach, and chest. He kept his other hand over his mouth, muffling the chorus of screams and sobs tearing their way from his chest.

Tears filled up his eyes, overflowing back into his hairline. Vomit crawled up his throat but with the hand covering its exit he had no choice but to swallow it, kicking his legs uselessly around his Father's hips and squirming to try to get out of his grip.

Seeming satisfied with the open burns littering Touya's torso after a while, he straightened up and loomed over him.   He moved his hand from over Touya's mouth, giving him a second to suck in as much oxygen as he could before stuffing his shirt into his mouth and as deep down his throat as he could manage, then he held both his wrists above his head with one hand and grabbed the bottle again.

Touya shook his head wildly, sobbing renewed as the remaining liquor was slowly poured over his fresh wounds. His body contorted in agony, back bowing on the desk.  His vision went white, screaming into the makeshift gag, muscles tensing up, helpless to do anything to escape.

The friction caused by Touya's squirming and twisting around beneath him also seemed to cause a problem for Enji, a tent in his pants growing harder every time Touya's pelvis unconsciously rubbed up against him as he writhed in pain.  Touya could feel it, too, and dread settled deep in the pits of his belly.

"You disobedient, worthless little bitch," he rolled Touya onto his stomach, causing the boy to let out an agonized cry when his injuries rubbed against the soaked hardwood of the desk.  His trousers were pulled down to his knees, and the last bit of alcohol was dumped between his legs to act as lubrication that burned his most sensitive areas. "Apologize, apologize for causing trouble nonstop, for being nothing but a thorn in this family's side, apologize!"

He freed his cock from his pants, directing the head at the boy's hole and forcing himself inside in one brutal thrust.  He ripped the gag from Touya's mouth, useless now since all the stern yelling had undoubtedly at least woke up Rei down the hall, but Enji knew his wife wouldn't dare do anything to intervene by now, leaving Touya to his Father's cruelity.

"I'm sorry, Daddy! I'm so sorry!" Touya sobbed freely against the desk, face all red and swollen from crying and hyperventilating. Father began thrusting with abandon, forcing his body to tear in order to accommodate for the girth invading him.  Blood ran down his thighs, mixing with the dark trails of bourbon that only caused the tears to burn worse.

"You are such an insufferable little brat. You're my biggest failure, yet you somehow continue to become even more of a mistake each passing day!" Father's voice boomed down at him, somehow the words hurting more than the pain that came from every thrust.

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again." He kept crying and sniffing, the alcohol should've been setting in by now but the harshness of the situation was making him sober up real fast.

"You're a liar."

"I'm not, I swear! Won't do it again, I promise!"

"You're a liar, a thief, vindictive little slut," Father growled down at him, gripping his hips so hard he knew they'd be bruised by morning. "You're a ungrateful brat, a useless whore, a waste of my fucking time and energy."

"I'm sorry!" He repeated, though he didn't even know the context or meaning of some of those insults, just that they hurt him somewhere deep in his chest.  Daddy just fucked him harder, not showing any mercy no matter how much he cried.

Heat tainted his insides when Daddy came, burning all through him and leaking out to mix with the blood and liquor on his thighs. He rode out the aftershocks with erratic thrusts before finally pulling out.

The room was deadly silent for a long stretch of time.  He wasn't sure what Enji was doing after, he had his eyes screwed shut, scared to even move and desperately trying to hold back his whimpers.

Finally, Father yanked up his pants for him and turned him around. There was an unreadable expression on his face as he looked down at Touya, one that almost looked like regret before quickly shifting to a hardened expression. "I want you to clean up your mess in here, take a shower, then think about what you've done.  If I catch you in here stealing my liquor again, the consequence will be twice as harsh. Do I make myself clear?"

Touya nodded with a shaky "yes, sir" and then was left to clean up the mess on the floor and desk, wiping everything down and trying his hardest not to start crying again over spilled liquor.

He'd like to say he learned his lesson, but it didn't take long to go back to that bottle like a moth to flame. He was in too deep now.
