Chapter Text
Once upon a time…..
There was a happy couple that lived in the land of Musutafu. Their names were Hisahi and Inko Midoriya.
They both came from semi-powerful high court families of almost pure blooded elves. Inko's family line came with a good mixture of not only healing powers and levitation powers but also of forest druid powers and influence. While it came to Inko generation, due to too many non cross marriages into other powers in other families, her generation in her family were all not very powerful. The most each person, male or female, was levitate small objects to them from a few feet away and/or give a little extra boost of power to plants that were in their care.
With Hisahi’s family, it was under the same problem, but unfortunately his generation had no more power at all. But what they didn’t have in magical power, they made up for in being good strategists and observers.
After they first met at Inko’s best friends, the queen of Musutafu, sons welcome to the kingdom/worlds ball. It was love at first sight. And in the span of two years; they courted, got married, established a house in the country despite the objections of their families to their entire relationship, and had a baby son of their own.
They named their son, the light of their lives, Izuku.
For the next ten years, everything was perfect. Hisahi had established his own trading company (again despite the protests of both families because nobles aren’t supposed to work) and Inko has had the most wonderful time being a stay at home mom and raising Izuku. Izuku was the time of his young life with him having the most loving family in the kingdom and visiting his secret friend in the forest in the back of the yard.
This all changed one horrible week.
When young Izuku was ten years old, he and his mother contracted a mysterious disease that afflicted a few noble families and a handful of non-noble families in the city and the surrounding countryside within the kingdom. For all that contracted the disease, it lasted a week and its symptoms were a high fever, severe coughing, and the loss of either some or all of one's magical powers. It also left one's physical wellbeing, more often or not, severely weak. It would sometimes kill the patients. With Izuku, the disease after it had run its course, whatever magical powers he had were gone. He became weak and, for several years, sickly and unable to go outside for long periods of time.
Inko didn’t make it.
For two years, the Midoriya household was in a state of severe grief. Between Inko’s passing and Izuku’s weaken state of being, Hisahi fell into a state of depression. At year three, with Izuku feeling a bit better, Hisahi thought it would be a good time to bring in a new wife into the household. He was still, and will forever will be, in love with his late wife and will never stop grieving over her but he thought it would be a good idea to bring in another mother figure for Izuku while he was still sick, especially when Hisahi was away on business.
A month after he told Izuku about his plan and his engagement, he brought in the human low-ranking noble lady, Lady Akuhei Daku. Along with her two human children, a son named Angu and a daughter named Akumu.
Everything was okay for a year, but when Izuku was thirteen, Hisahi was lost at sea and found dead on a neighboring island kingdom.
And in the wake of Izuku profound sadness and grief was the start of his horrible life with his new family.
But what he didn’t know was that there was something magical, wonderful, and amazing waiting to happen.
