Corrupting the Innocent

Summary:

Anakin has been tempted by the Dark Side for a long time now. The only reason he hasn't given into it completely yet is because he wanted Obi-Wan to join him in it. Soon, very soon he will be finally able to corrupt his Obi-Wan completely. It will only be a matter of time but in the mean time he will have to be patient.

Chapter Text

Everything just felt wrong for Obi-Wan since Qui-Gon's death. No matter how hard he tried he never felt like the perfect Jedi he always aimed to be. But no one saw it and the council kept praising him for what a wonderful Jedi Master he was, even though he never felt he was one. They didn't see his short comings as failures like he did or the fact that he felt like he messed-up raising Anakin but they only saw he raised an over confident and too proud Jedi. They didn't know he loved Anakin more than a master should and he maybe allowed Anakin to do things that weren’t necessarily acceptable or according to the teachings. He thought no noticed these things but one person did and that person has also loved him in a way he was not supposed too.

"It is their fault Qui-Gon had fallen. And now they were willing to sacrifice you.... I have to be okay with it... Both of you saved me from a life of slavery..." shouted Anakin as he paced the empty meeting room on the Negotiator like a trapped animal. "Enough, Anakin... Please... I am tired..." murmured Obi-wan wearily in a grief stricken voice as he pinched the bridge of his nose as he felt a headache coming on. Anakin's words reach a part inside him that still blamed the Council as well as the order for Qui-Gon's death and that part still hurt deeply from it. "I am sorry..." murmured Anakin with utter regret while he stopped his pacing before he slowly stalked over to Obi-Wan while Obi-Wan dropped his hands to his side. "Anakin..." asked Obi-wan with uncertainty as their eyes met while Anakin gently cupped the back of Obi-Wan's head. Obi-wan clutched Anakin’s robe at his shoulders in shock as Anakin claimed Obi-Wan's mouth with a passion filled crushing kiss.

"Anakin... I...What are you… We can’t..." protested Obi-wan half heartedly when Anakin broke the kiss. Anakin nibbled Obi-Wan's bottom lip while his other hand snaked around Obi-Wan's waist before pulling Obi-wan closer and reclaiming Obi-Wan's mouth. Anakin kept up the kiss until Obi-wan moaned and relaxed against him. When Anakin broke the kiss and leaned back, he smirked at his former masters glazed eyes. "I love you. I have loved you since the day Qui-Gon saved me. When I first saw you the first time, I thought that a beautiful god appeared to me." confessed Anakin as he placed butterfly kisses at the corners of Obi-Wan's mouth. "I am too old for you... I was your master..." Obi-wan tried to protest as the love and passion Anakin felt for him stunned him through the force. "Please be mine..." begged Anakin with a needy whine as he nibbled Obi-Wan's bottom lip again. "I..." started Obi-wan but broke off as he let go of the tight hold he always had on his own feelings and claimed Anakin's mouth with searing heat.

"No! Anakin! This isn't right!" managed Obi-Wan in a low husky voice as he forcefully pushes Anakin away from him. Anakin allowed him to with a knowing sneer causing Obi-wan to blush brightly in shame for his weakness. "Let’s forget about this. Emotions were high and... and... never mind… Let’s just forget this ever happened... I am going to meditate..." managed Obi-Wan as he still felt lust running through his veins while he rushed for the door. He still wished and craved Anakin's touch but was afraid he will give into it again as he rushed through it into the corridor. "For now, Obi-Wan. For now... I felt your need as well as love for me through the force. You will be mine soon, love. I promise." stated Anakin softly with a twisted loving smile at the door Obi-wan had fled through.

A few weeks later Obi-wan stares out the window in the meeting room on the Negotiator, lost in his thoughts. Cody dressed in his commanders uniform nears the room slowly, uncertain what to do but certain something had to be done. "Sir..." asked Cody tentatively as he enters the room and notices Obi-Wan was completely alone in it. "Yes, Cody..." replied Obi-Wan with a sad far off smile as if he knew why Cody was here by the tone of Cody’s voice, as he continues to stare out of the window at the stars. "Anakin has tried to contact you again, sir." murmured Cody into the quiet as he knew Anakin probably tried to contact Obi-Wan directly first before he contacted the bridge. “I know, Cody. I still don’t have anything to say to him. Has the council tried to assign us to a joint mission again?” asked Obi-Wan warily in concern in a low sad voice as he kept staring at the stars.

"No. They haven’t. Obi-Wan… What is going on?" asked Cody with a concerned frown as he knew Obi-Wan better than most people. “Nothing…” started Obi-Wan to lie in answer before he was interrupted. “Please don’t lie to me. You can lie to the council but not me. Aren’t we friends?” asked Cody worriedly as Obi-Wan winced at his words while Cody slowly made his way over to where Obi-Wan was standing. “We are friends, Cody… Anakin kissed me the last time I saw him and… and confessed his love to me…” answered Obi-Wan as slowly turned to Cody with despair as well as regret in his eyes. “Oh krak. That is why you have done everything in your power to avoid him since then?” asked Cody with a pensive frown as he put a comforting hand on Obi-Wan’s upper arm.

“Yes… That is one of the reasons...” replied Obi-Wan before trailing off as he bowed his head in shame causing Cody to grow more concerned as Obi-Wan rarely showed shame in front of others. “What is the other, Obi-Wan?” asked Cody softy as he gently lifted Obi-Wan’s face with a gentle hand under his chin. Cody felt lost for a second when he saw unshed tears in Obi-Wan’s eyes once their gazes met him. “I… I love him as well… I have for a long time now…” admitted Obi-Wan brokenly as the tears escaped and started to run freely down his cheeks. “Oh kriff… What do you plan to do about it? The Jedi order will flip if they find out...” murmured Cody in concern as he drew Obi-Wan into a hug. Obi-Wan buried his face against Cody’s shoulder as Obi-Wan hugged him tightly back.

“I don’t know…” replied Obi-Wan before a sob escaped his lips as Cody started to rub his back soothingly. “You can’t keep avoiding him or they will grow suspicious. Do you want to be with Anakin that way?” asked Cody with utter concern and did not know this was the question that had been bothering Obi-Wan the most for the last few weeks. “I know… What does it matter? Even if I wanted to be with him that way, the council would not allow it.” replied Obi-Wan tiredly as he finally got his tears under control but he kept his face buried in Cody’s shoulder, taking comfort there. “It does matter. What you want matters, Obi-Wan. Do you want to be with Anakin? Do you still love him that way?” asked Cody in a firm no nonsense voice as he knew Obi-Wan hadn’t been truly happy in years.

“Yes. I still love him and want to be with him.” answered Obi-Wan sounding absolutely miserable as new tears escaped his eyes while tried to get his emotions under control again. “Then be together, if that will give you some happiness. We will figure out how to protect you from the council. Both of you.” stated Cody with a warm confident smile as he felt Obi-Wan stiffen in shock before Obi-Wan lifted his shocked tear streaked face from Cody’s shoulder. “We…” murmured Obi-Wan uncertainly as hope filled his voice while joy came into his eyes stronger then Cody had ever seen it before. “Yes, we. You are an idiot if you don’t think the whole battalion or Rex and his legion won’t help keep your secret as well as help you hide it from the council.” replied Cody with a chuckle and beaming smile as he wiped the tears from Obi-Wan’s face.

“You would do this for us?” asked Obi-Wan with a hopeful smile as he blushed slightly at the idea of him and Anakin finally being together. “Yes. You are our friends and we care deeply about you. All we want is for you to be happy. Be honest with me and yourself, Obi-Wan. You haven’t been happy in years. Since long before I met you.” stated Cody with a sad concerned smile and serious tone of voice as Obi-Wan took a step back from him. “I haven’t been… Not since Qui-Gon’s death. Anakin made me feel alive again when he kissed me.” admitted Obi-Wan with a more furious blush as he started to straighten his still perfect robes to distract himself from his confession. “Then be with him, Obi-Wan. Be happy. You deserve it.” said Cody sternly as he clasped Obi-Wan’s shoulder in comfort to force Obi-Wan to look him in the eyes. Obi-Wan met Cody’s eyes as he smiled broadly and nodded in confirmation at Cody’s words.
