Chris stormed into the locker room, Street following her. As soon as the door shuts, Chris turns around, "What the hell Street? Someone else should go undercover with Captain Cortez? What, do you not fucking trust me to do it?! Do you not fucking see me as capable enough to fucking do it?"
"Chris, that's not it."
"Then why the fuck would you say that!?"
"If you were to go to Mexico, then how would anyone of us have your six? We wouldn't be able to help you if something was to go wrong. And the police there are corrupt. Chris, I'm scared. I'm scared I'd lose you if you were to go undercover."
Chris sighs. "I get it Street, but you don't have a say in this. I can handle myself. I've proved that plenty of times. I don't need any of you five to fucking help me. I can assure you that."
Street nods, "I know Chris, I'm just scared that I'll lose you. And I can't lose you Chris, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you were to go to Mexico get seriously hurt and we couldn't help you."
Chris closes the distance between her and Street, "I get it, but I promise you, I won't get hurt. And if I do, I'll be able to deal with it. Both me and Cortez will be fine."
"I don't care about Captain Cortez right now Chris. I care about you. I'm worried about you. I'm sorry if I made it look like I thought you're weak, because trust me I know you're not fucking weak. You're one of the strongest women I know. I just can't lose you.."
Chris wraps her arms around Street's waist, "I know Street..I know." Her head lifted up to make eye contact with him. He leans down to a safe distance so she can pull away if she wishes, but Chris just pulls Street down by his shirt and kisses him.
As they pull away, fear washes over Chris' face.
"Chris...please don't ignore me. I'm sorry if that was uncomfortable for you I just-" He was interrupted by Chris kissing him once again.
They pull away, this time with Chris smiling widely,"I don't think the relationship with Kira and Ty is for me. I think I've found my soulmate. Now, I got to get ready to go to Mexico."
Street smiles and nods,"Of course." With that, he exits the locker room. Leaving Chris smiling bashfully and blushing.
