Katsuki sat in the waiting room of the hospital, hoping that someone would give him just a shred of information on Izuku besides just a simple “He’s fine.”
“What bullshit,” Katsuki whispered as he ran his hands down his face. Izuku had removed him as an emergency contact, so even getting the doctors and nurses to reluctantly admit that he was ok, it was like pulling teeth out a wiggling worm. Yelling brought his attention to the front of the waiting area by the reception desk. He groaned and adjusted in the chair he had been sitting in for hours. But the man wasn’t being quiet. Katsuki looked closer at him; he had a nagging feeling he knew him. It was a tall man with curly black hair. He was surrounded by others in suits.
“Where is he? I was told he was brought here by ambulance, and I need to know now! Just tell me where Izuku Midoriya is!” The man shouted. At hearing his ex’s name, Katsuki stood up and quickly made his way over, hoping for some information.
“Hey dude! Excuse me!” He called out. The man turned as the suits around him prevented Katsuki from reaching him. His eyes widened before glaring at Katsuki. “Can you give me any…” Katsuki trailed off as he got a good look at the man. He had tall, dark curly hair as he saw from the back, but had dark brown eyes. He recognized this man in the pictures he had been shown, and then again when he confronted Izuku about any allegations during their relationship.
The man glared at him with cold brown eyes. “Katsuki Bakugou.” He hissed, his words dripping with venom. “It was you who saved him? I find that hard to believe given your past. I was expecting to see one of his little friends here instead. Though I guess I should thank you for saving him, despite breaking his heart.” Katsuki felt his eye twitch and his temper flare.
“Excuse the FUCK outta me? I’m not the one who threw nearly a decade-long relationship away to go fuck some extra like you. He did, He made his bed and now he can lie in it. I just wanted to make sure the bastard lived through whatever was given to him.” He snarled and turned, not wanting to be there a moment more in that bastard’s presence, only to run into a heavily pregnant woman who ran up and embraced the man behind him.
“Yo! I just heard from your father! What happened? Is he okay? Have they told you anything? Oh, I could just kill whoever did this, and I will too! Mark My words, I’ll-” The man, Yo, gently covered her mouth.
“Don’t worry love, everything will be fine.” He said as Katsuki stood there shocked.
“The hell? You made him a side while playing happy family with someone else?” He felt ready to blow up. Yo stared and slowly smirked as if he had just realized something. Which only fueled Katsuki’s rage.
The woman looked back and forth between the two men. “Yo, what’s he talking about?” Yo’s grin grew.
“Tatami, love. This here is one Katsuki Bakugou.” The woman’s eyes grew large and turned a cold glare toward Katsuki, who felt like he was suddenly missing something. “Katsuki, this is Tatami Shindo, my wife. And I believe we haven’t been properly introduced. I am Yo, Yo Shindo. One of Izuku’s older brothers. I would say it’s a pleasure to meet you but then I would be lying.”
Katsuki felt his world stop. Oh, he thought, Oh I fucked up.
