Chapter Text
It was quite unusual for Naruto, as Hokage, to need to go on a mission. He would usually sit in his office all day, working on the mountains of paperwork he would get. It was something like a blessing when Shikamaru came in that day and told Naruto they had a problem that couldn't be handled by them. He said something about a monster but Naruto didn’t quite listen as he rushed to pack his bag for the first time in forever.
And so Naruto found himself on the road. It was quite a nice feeling and it reminded him of the old days in Team Seven. He hadn’t even realised he got to the mansion he needed to arrive at until he found himself with the thing in front of him. It looked quite suspicious, but that was expected considering it was a monster’s nest.
Naruto took a deep breath, trying to contain his excitement and opened the large front doors of the mansion. Inside the house there was an eerie kind of darkness. The furniture was full of spider webs and the floors were unswiped. There was dirt and dust flying everywhere.
Naruto tried to locate the monster by sensing his energy but he couldn’t feel anything. And so, he decided to do some exploring. He walked inside the house, shutting the wooden doors behind him and went to search the first floor.
The mansion was quite interesting and it also seemed pretty old. There were some antiques here and there that you didn’t see every day. Maybe just in the oldest clans. Walking around the first floor, the Hokage found nothing and so he moved to the next one.
The stairs creaked under his weight and he was a bit worried about them breaking. Thankfully , that didn’t happen and he managed to get to the second floor safely. That’s when he felt a presence behind him. He quickly turned around trying to grab the creature behind him by the head but it seems that it was faster than expected. It moved to the opposite side of the room.
As the moon shone behind what he thought it was a creature and he saw that the figure before him actually had the body of a man… a really tall one actually. They both breathed heavily until Naruto regained his composure and managed to track the chakra of the man. What he wasn’t prepared for was to realise whose chakra it was.
“Sasuke?“ Naruto asked. “What are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same thing.” replied Sasuke in the low voice that always made Naruto shiver. “Aren’t you busy doing whatever a Hokage is supposed to do?” Naruto winced slightly.
Naruto’s and Sasuke’s history was a bit rough. They never got along when they were younger and even as they grew into teenagers, the waters weren’t clear. It just so happened that one night, when they were 19, they found themselves alone in Naruto’s apartment and ended up sleeping with each other. After that, it became kind of like a routine. Sasuke would come into Naruto’s apartment, they would fuck and in the morning he would leave, as if nothing had happened.
The irony was that despite all of this, they still couldn’t stand each other. Or at least that’s what the other thought. They hadn’t met in a long time, a few months actually. Sasuke was always busy with missions while Naruto was busy doing his Hokage work.
“I- I heard there was a creature here that no one could take care of so I came personally.” Naruto said. “Funny, because Shikamaru told me the exact same thing.” came the reply.
“What?! That’s impossible, he came to me this morning and told me!”
“Well he asked me to come here to check it out yesterday. I didn’t go back to report to him so he might have thought that I couldn’t deal with it. God, so stupid.” Naruto looked confused for a few seconds before finally replying.
“Oh… yeah, that makes sense. So… um… did you take care of it?”
“Of course I did, it wasn’t even hard, I just came back here today to see if the creature left any babies. It was a female.”
“ Of course! Yeah! Makes total sense! Well, thank you for solving the problem for me… I guess I'll go now.”
“Wait!... Do you feel that?”
“Huh?” The floor suddenly started shaking, the dust on it flying everywhere. Naruto lost his balance and waited for the impact with the floor but it never came, instead, soft arms wrapped around him and carried him away.
“W- what are you doing?! Put me down, Sasuke.”
“Shut up, dumbass! It can hear us.”
Naruto suddenly realised that the creature might actually have birthed some kids before dying. That must have been the reason for the whole disaster that was happening. Naruto looked frantically around the room, trying to find a way out or at least some way to defeat the small creatures, but it was useless. Sasuke was running too fast for him to keep up with the image from the outside.
Sasuke took a harsh turn to the right at one moment and shut something behind him. They were in a room, all alone, with the door shut. Naruto’s position wasn’t the best either.
Silence.
“Um.. you can put me down now, Sasuke.” The man didn’t respond, he just kept staring at Naruto. “I- It’s fine really, I can walk.” That didn’t make the situation better either. Then, the long-awaited response finally came.
“I don’t want to.” Now, that Naruto didn’t expect. He looked at the man that was carrying him doubtfully, he thought he might not have heard that right.
“What do you mean you don’t want to?! Put me down, Sasuke!” He started thrashing around but it was no use, Sasuke’s hold only tightened. “You know I could take you down with one move, right?” Naruto asked helplessly.
“And you know I could take you from behind in two, right?” Speechless. Naruto was speechless. How could a grown man talk about something like that in the situation that they were in?!
“Oh my God, Sasuke! H- how can you say that with a straight face?”
“What? I mean it’s true.’
Just then the house started rumbling again. Naruto wanted to get out of Sasuke’s arms but he wasn’t fast enough as Sasuke threw him on the floor. “Stay here.” he said to the flabbergasted man, and then he left, leaving Naruto there all alone.
The man wanted to go out as well but he knew Sasuke was more than capable of dealing with a few babies and decided to stay put instead. He started taking in his surroundings, he was in an old room. There was a desk in the middle and behind the desk was a huge curtain. It was quite dusty and the floor creaked underneath his footsteps. .
Despite that, the room was quite big and with a bit of makeover Naruto couldn't understand why someone wouldn't want to live in this house. While he was busy admiring the tapestry on the walls he heard the door creak. Sasuke was back. Naruto turned around to see the other man walking in with a bit of blood on his face, probably from all the slashing he did with his katana. He looked… hot.
“Now that that’s solved, we have another problem to fix.” Sasuke said.
“We? W- what kind of problem needs the both of us?”
“The one that’s growing in my pants.” and with that he strolled across the room, directly towards Naruto.
