Chapter Text

There's just something so peaceful about a cool fall morning.
The gentle twinkling from my neighbor's wind chimes, the soft breeze through my window that sways my curtains, the light reflecting and scattering from stained glass.
The familiar sounds of life outside of my bedroom.
The calm of the morning, the soft purr of my cats as they snuggle into the blankets with me, the smell of dried flowers heavy in the light autumnal air.
For a moment, just a moment, the world seems as though it will stop in this soft moment.
Like for a moment it could pause without care.
Yet still, time marches on.
The peacefulness of the day will soon shatter, lost to the hurry and rush of wakefulness and people going about their days,
But there will always be another cool fall morning to come, just as there is another tomorrow upon the horizon.
We just will have to be patient and wait for it's calm return.
