Hello! Thank you for checking out my lil chaotic fic ♡ I just want to take a second to give a short breakdown of how I go about writing whatever this is so we’re all on the same page!

Smut?

To get this out of the way early, the short answer is no, I do not write smut and have no intention to publish chapters including it. I have nothing against mature content, I merely don’t feel comfortable posting it myself knowing a lot of those who go looking for hoyoverse content in general are typically underage. But that's just me, and there are plenty of other writers who do post smut, so go give them more attention and love ♡

Chapter Titles

You’ll quickly notice that chapter titles are enclosed in one of three symbols: a sun, a moon, or a star.

☼ : The sun means the chapter is more lighthearted and generally not a chapter filled to the brim with heavy emotions. That’s not to say they won’t still be sad or angsty depending on the prompt! Just a bit less emotionally draining imo

☽ : The moon means the chapter will include heavier topics, intense emotions, and most probably have triggering content depending on which guy you’re reading for (nearly all of the boys or their mcs or both have trauma I̶’̶m̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶e̶r̶g̶i̶c̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶l̶e̶s̶o̶m̶e̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ so yeah lol). These chapters should be read when you’re looking for a bit of angst or heartbreak. (The end of this intro chapter has each mcs background for those wanting to get an idea of what they’re getting into!)

✧ : Star chapters are more like little event chapters! They’re still “canon” to this fic, but they’re very specific to the time they’re published such as holiday scenarios and HSR milestone celebration parts!

Up-To-Speed Chapters (UTS for short)

I’ve been writing this fic since November of 2023 so the earlier chapters won’t include later released boys. Instead of going back and constantly editing those chapters, a UTS chapter is put out for them when a new boy is released (or very close to being released/ we know a fair bit about them in-game). These chapters will include every scenario written prior to their release so they’re quite literally being caught up to be even with the rest of the cast! As more boys are released and this fic becomes longer, UTS chapters might take longer to come out so please be patient and bear with me, thank you! ♡

Requests

I take requests for any scenarios/prompts you can think of! I only ask that they aren’t explicitly smutty in nature, but spicy prompts are fine. Any other nsfw and triggering requests are on the table as well! I love writing angst and tragic things so don’t worry if you think a request is too gory or even too fluffy, they’re all welcome ♡ Just leave a comment with your idea on this chapter or any other and they'll be added to my never-ending google doc. Do keep in mind that I write for scenarios as either inspiration strikes or the Discord votes for which chapter gets released next so requests get completed in random order (not exactly ideal but hey, at least that means more consistent updates) :p

MC Backgrounds

As more men are added and mcs are created, keeping track of the ships will get tiring so here's a cheat sheet with each mcs lil description/backstory! Soon enough you were a welcomed sight along the Nameless’ Trailblazing journey, helping with anything and everything while eagerly running around to keep yourself busy. Dan Heng could see parts of himself underneath the joyful mask you hid behind to conceal the fact you too were running from your past. And yet, he never pried, content to take your hand and look to the future with you regardless of what that future may hold. Pity the past will always catch up, both you and him being forced to face the very things you had hoped to escape from. At least now that you have each other, fighting for a future worth living was no longer just some far-fetched dream.

During that time he had been promoted to Captain, and the second you were discharged you began working as his assistant back in the office. Together you two work to keep the city safe and keep each other sane, comforting one another through all of the trauma a never-ending war is bound to carve on your souls.

You initially wanted to con the man only to have that plan flipped on its head when you found yourself genuinely interested in befriending such an enigmatic gentleman. That coffin of his felt strange. The same kind of strange you feel from a small artifact you keep on you at all times. Luocha must have noticed it too because the day he was supposed to leave, he extended an invitation for you to join him on his journey across the cosmos. You accepted without a second thought, excited to see the stars beyond and learn all you could about your new travel companion, unaware that the secrets you two share might one day lead to your combined downfall.

Now it falls to you to humor Screwllum’s curiosity into the complexities of human nature, showing him just what it means to be human through your shared experiences. And though you understand you’re falling and falling hard for the intellitron, Screwllum can’t quite connect those dots. He also fails to realize he might be falling for you too, the idea that he’s capable of experiencing ‘love’ so far-fetched it’s not even a probability he’s thought to consider.

And to make matters worse, the man who could answer your questions has none to give, Reca having erased his own memories to hide the sins of his past and protect you both from the Garden. Despite this, there must be a plot twist later on down the line that will unveil the truth. And when it does, will you choose to stand with your creator against the universe, or try to escape to save your gross imitation of life, leaving him to pay the price of his crimes alone?
