Work Text:
It was cold out, was the first thing she noticed. She could feel her body shivering but couldn’t bring herself to actually do anything about it.
She was almost completely numb. Well, she wouldn’t exactly call it numb but…it was more of a weird buzzing ? She couldn’t move right now, that was for sure. At least not by choice.
She could only really control minor parts of herself. Like maybe the way her eyes appeared, or slight twitches of the mouth. She definitely couldn’t speak right now, it wouldn’t let her.
He wouldn’t let her.
And oh, how badly she wanted to be able to speak right now, but all she could do was become a prisoner in her own body, and watch. Watch whatever vile thing was about to occur.
It had been a good five minutes. She wondered where he was trying to go. Her legs were starting to ache a bit now. She had been training all day, so her whole body was already a bit busted up, and this wasn’t helping.
She hated this, when he decided to just- take control of her. Like she was just some kind of vessel for him to do his dirty work with. She tried desperately to tap into any of her limbs, anything that she could control, anything at all.
Nothing. God , she couldn’t stand this.
She begrudgingly continued walking, the blaring of the street lights in the dark night angered her in the worst way possible, but she beared through it. She continued to shiver as the sharp breeze taunted her.
A familiar street came up, and she felt her blood run cold. What was he doing here? He’s not supposed to know about this place.
He’s not supposed to be here.
She was suddenly yanked behind the wall of an apartment building on the corner, but could still peak around from her position.
She caught a glimpse of a familiar head of hair, and a girl angrily stomping down the sidewalk. She felt herself calm down a bit as she saw the jacket the girl was wearing.
‘That was the one she had got her—OHMYGODSHE'SSOCUTE!’
She felt her face heat up and inwardly groaned because why was that something that she could control? That was stupid.
‘Wait…’
As the girl got closer she felt her heart drop as she realized that she was probably what he was after. Now she was hoping to gain control back more than ever, but as much as she struggled, she just wasn’t strong enough.
She felt her legs moving, and suddenly the two girls were face to face. The hopeful look on the girl’s face made her want to cry, or scream, or do anything.
Only a flimsy apology made its way out of her mouth, before she struck. Her voice strained from the struggle to even open her mouth in the first place.
A single tear ran down her cheek, but her face was expressionless. She felt more tears falling off her face as the girl fell unconscious into her arms.
‘Stop crying.’ His condescending voice rang out in her head. She hated this—She hated him.
The tears were gone, and she let herself rest, fading into unconsciousness. As much as she wanted to defy him,
She was tired.
