Chapter Text

Kuroo looked into the little pens arranged around the farm, yet nothing impressed him. He was looking to purchase his first ever hybrid. After the divorce, he was feeling lonely and really just wanted someone to take care of, a little housewife to spoil. There were little cows, deers, foxes, kitty's and all kinds of hybrids. He was very specific with what he wanted. He had called ahead requesting to put the little bunny hybrid by the name of "Kenma" on hold. And yet, he hadn't seen him here, not a single bunny boy in sight as a matter of fact.

"I thought that you had bunnies here." Kuroo groaned, interrupting the man who was giving him a tour through the "The Miya Brothers Hybrid Farm".

"We do," the man answered with a reassuring smile, "we have to keep them in a special place inside the barn, as they are very timid little creatures."

"Well showing me all these other hybrids are a waste of my fucking time. I'm a busy man you know. Just take me to the bunnies."

The farmer looked taken aback by Kuroo's harsh tone and quickly nodded, leading Kuroo towards the barn in he back of the field. "of course, sir. My apologies."

The farmer opened the barn door and lead Kuroo inside. "We have all kinds of bunnies here, sir. What is it that you are looking for in particular from this hybrid so I can show you ones that may suit your needs best."

Kuroo walked through the barn, cooing at how adorable the little bunny boys were. Some of them scurried away nervously where as some just looked up at him with big, timid eyes.

Kuroo readjusted his tie and squared his shoulders, "I called ahead and put one under the name of "Kenma" on hold. I am only interested in that one. Do you even know how to to your job?"

"Of course. I believe you talked to one of my assistants this morning about him. Let me show you to Kenma."

Kuroo smiled, a real smile. Finally, he was getting to meet him. "How old is he? The website didn't specify his age." Kuroo eyed a bunny who was sleeping in a little ball in one of the pens, noticing how the sign above his pen said "Reserved for K. Bokuto."

He knew that man. He and Bokuto went way back to his college days. Bokuto had become a very successful and wealthy businessman just like he had. And apparently, he had also had the same interests, also wanting a little bunny wife.

"Well, we only sell bunnies that are of age. He is young, at just eighteen years old."

"Perfect." Kuroo sighed happily, "and does he have a cock or a pussy?"

The farmer laughed, "why don't you find out yourself?" he gestured to a pen in front of them, but Kuroo couldn't spot anyone there.

Kuroo got closer, opening the door to the bunnies pen. Kuroo stepped inside and crouched down. He looked inside the little hutch and noticed a tiny little bunny boy hiding inside, curled up in a ball.

"Don't be scared, sweet thing. I'm here to take care of you now." Kuroo said gently, reaching inside the hutch to stoke the bunnies little floppy ear.

The bunny's eyes widened in fear, flinching away from Kuroo's hand.

"What is wrong with him?" Kuroo asked the farmer. "he's petrified."

"Bunny hybrids are like that. But don't worry, he's a good boy. He'll listen."

Kuroo turned to look at Kenma again, "Come on out, sweetheart. Let me see you."

Kenma crawled out of his hiding spot, his eyes darting over to the farmer hesitantly.

"I'm not going to hurt you, come here." Kuroo said softly while patting his lap.

Kenma scurried to settle in front of Kuroo, looking up at him with big, doe eyes. He was very, very beautiful. He was small, even for a bunny hybrid. He had cute, floppy light brown ears, big golden eyes, and pretty pink lips. His little nose was twitching nervously, and his sweet little tail was tucked up underneath him.

"You're even more perfect than in the pictures." Kuroo said, gently smoothing his hand over the soft fur between Kenma's ears. Kenma blushed, readjusting himself so he was sitting up, and it was now that Kuroo noticed he had a cute little cock between his legs.

"Are you happy with him, sir?" the farmer asked startling Kuroo, Kuroo had forgotten he was even there.

"I am very pleased. I want to take him home with me right now." Kuroo smiled, standing up and walking out of the pen, closing the door behind him. It wasn't like Kenma would run away, he knew his place in the world as a hybrid, especially a bunny hybrid. But Kuroo closed it as a show of ownership.

"Okay, let's go to the office for payment." the man continued to ramble on, trying to upsell Kuroo,  "I have a section of collars and leashes as well as other supplies you may be interested in, too."

"I already have a custom collar for him at my house." Kuroo said, dusting off his pants. "let's just get on with the payment."

"Very well, then." he said, leading Kuroo through another door and into the office. Behind the desk sat a pretty deer hybrid, who looked up at them kindly.

"Help this gentlemen, Omi darling. He is purchasing Kenma." the man said, leaving the two of them and disappearing through another door.

The deer hybrid nodded obediently, getting started with cashing him out, clicking away at the keyboard with their pretty hooves. Meanwhile, Kuroo fished out his black card from his wallet, tapping it impatiently against the countertop.

"That will be $1.5 million. How would you like to pay?"

Kuroo didn't even blink at the price, he just flashed his card at the receptionist nonchalantly.

After paying, he pocketed his card and sat down on the couch to wait for his bunny to be brought to him.

Shortly after, out came the farmer, with Kenma in tow. Now Kenma had a little dress on with cute little shoes and knee high socks. His hair appeared to have been brushed too, a matching pink bow between his ears. Kenma glanced up at Kuroo shyly, playing with the frills on his dress nervously.

"He's all ready for you. Enjoy. And remember, there is a no return policy here." the man got closer to Kuroo, making Kuroo stand. "if you need anything, do give us a call. Did my wife here tell you about the open house next weekend?"

Kuroo shook his head no, reaching to pull Kenma in towards him by his little arm. He'd make sure to collar him as soon as they got home.

"Well, next weekend there will be an event, invites only, where people can bring their hybrids. It's a good way to get to know some other folks who have the same lifestyle as you. There is also a beauty competition where the winner brings home a cash prize. You should enter little Kenma in."

"Are you trying to imply that I need money?" Kuroo rolled his eyes coldly. "as if your cash prize would even make a difference in my bank account, anyway."

"No, it's just for fun." he interjected, "It's a great chance to have some drinks and play some games. It's a safe space for people with this lifestyle to get together."

"I'll think about it." Kuroo guided Kenma towards the door, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I must get going."

"Of course, thanks for your business, sir." the farmer said with a smile.

Kuroo picked Kenma up into his arms, holding him close to his chest. Kenma yelped, hooking his legs around Kuroo's middle. He hadn't said a word yet and Kuroo was starting to wonder if his bunny boy could even talk.

"Can you speak, little one?" Kuroo asked kindly, carrying him over to his big, blacked out SUV.

Kenma nodded, blushing nervously. Kuroo smiled at his response. He then reached in his pocket to unlock his door, "hop in."

Kenma obeyed, hopping into the backseat. He went to buckle up his seatbelt when Kuroo snatched his hand in a tight grip. "No. Daddy will do it for you, sweetheart."

Kenma hunched his shoulders and looked away sheepishly as Kuroo gently did up his seatbelt. "There we go. Let's go home now."

The bunny boy smiled at his owner, just hoping that his new home would be nice to him.
