Robert looked around the hotel room, Chas was standing infront of him, she had a long white dress, a black cropped cardigan and a white and blue flower in her pocket. She actually looked quite pretty, Roberts suit was displayed infront of him. “You’re going to look a million dollars love” she reached out and stroked his cheek, their relationship went from hating each other to Chas being the closest thing to a mother he’s had.
“Thank you, Chas” he whispered, trying to come to terms with the fact he’d be marrying the man he loves. “Im going to go get dressed, I’ll be back.” He picked up the black suit cover and went off into his room, dying to get dressed as quick as possible. There was a Long mirror that filled half the wall, he was admiring himself whilst he buttoned up the white shirt. By the end, he looked great, he gave himself a moment before he walked back to Chas, Paddy had now come to join them.
“Robert pal, you look-“ Paddy looked him up and down, Chas was filled with nothing but happiness, this was all real.
“Good don’t I, always have in a suit” Robert smirked, no matter the occasion, he’d always find a way to be smug.
“Oh Robert”, Chas had tears in her eyes as she pulled him in for a hug, he stroked her back while she fiddled with her eyes, probably trying not to smudge her mascara.
“I cannot believe this is happening today,” she pulled back, still holding his shoulders. “You’re marrying my son!!” She exclaimed, her smile couldve lit up the village at nighttime. Robert knew Aaron and Chas had their differences quite alot but at this moment, she was so proud to be a mother.
“We’d best get a move on if we want to make it in time” Paddy said, giving him a quick hug. The walk down to the ceremony was filled with Chas throwing her hands up in the air in excitement, it was understandable in all fairness.
Walking closer, he could see everyone standing, There was a beautiful white rug with grey accents in the isle, flower bouquets decorated each table and Blue pillow’s covered the chairs. He glanced around once again, Seb was held by Victoria, Adam playing with his monkey infront of him, a basket of rose petals in his other hand. Her and Adam were perfect for eachother. “Oh Robert, you look so handsome” She smiled at him, Adam punched his arm. “Don’t let him down, I’ll kill ya” he laughed, making seb wave his hands about infront of Roberts face. “Daddy” he laughed, it was the only word he could say.
“Hello seb, you look adorable”, he was crouched so he could face him, giving him a kiss on the forehead. That’s when he saw Aaron, he had his back to him but Aaron in a suit, always did things to Robert.
“Im marrying your son today” Robert breathed out, Chas gave him a smile and confirmed what he’d said. “Yes love, you are”
That’s when Aaron turned his way, his eyes widened, taking in the sight infront of him whilst everyone got into position, “God” he whispered, Today is the start of something new.
