Notes:

Hello everybody!!! Here is another series that I'm working on. This will fit well in another series that I'm working on. This will lead to a main character that will go into my story. I hope you like it. I know the chapter is short but I'll try to make them longer. I will be working on my unfinished series and stories as well. I won't forget about them. But, that will take time for me to do them. Please make sure to leave kudos here for more stories, series, and more chapters. Please and thank you so much!!!

Chapter 1: Into The Darkness

Chapter Text

On a mission to the dark forests of Japan, the three trio go to an abandoned shrine where it’s been reported that people have gone missing there. The trio were Gojo Satoru, Getou Suguru, and Shoko Ieiri who were sent there to seek out any survivors that needed to be healed. It was the only reason why Shoko went. There were even sightings of survivors struggling to get out of these dark forests but they could never escape their dark fate. So, the best and strongest sorcerers were sent to save these people and kill the cursed spirits that trapped them. So they walked through the pathway to the temples. It felt very cold and it was hard to see through the darkness. They could barely see what was in front of them. They had flashlights and their phones with them to guide them through the dark but it seemed that it wasn’t enough. They could see nothing but darkness and some branches from the tall trees that they were surrounded around.

As they walked through the pathway, it felt like they were walking forever. They got closer to their destination but something felt off. It felt like they were being watched by not something but somebody. The one who noticed it first was Shoko. She felt a chill go up her spine and she felt light-headed. Shoko almost tripped a couple of times due to the atmosphere of the surroundings. Suguru had to stay by her side due to the multiple times of her almost tripping. Satoru acted like he was just focusing on the mission but in general, he was worried for Shoko. He couldn’t believe that Yaga let her go on this mission with them. A weak girl like her can’t face up against a cursed spirit even if it was a weak one. Shoko will be killed in mere seconds. So, for safety for Shoko, Satoru made sure that he kept his eyes and ears open and went in front of them. While Suguru protected her in the back, Satoru will protect her in the front.

When it felt like hours, they made it to the main temple where sightings were reported the most. The temple seemed like it was going to fall apart and it was old. There were creaking noises when they went inside. A sudden chill blows at them and sounds of whispers can be heard all around them. They all felt that eyes were pairing on them. It was a way that felt like something was going to attack them from the darkness that it lurked. While they checked out the inside of the temple, something ran past them through the old pillars that were there. Suguru turned and summoned a small flying cursed spirit, no bigger than a chair. It checked around the pillars but nothing was found. The cursed spirit flew over to Suguru and stayed by his side. Suguru continued his walk with Satoru and Shoko. But whatever it was, it was still there. It was hiding in the shadows. None of them can see what was lurking in the shadows but it can see them through its eyes.

Satoru walked over to an old shrine that was at the end of the temple room, “Wow hey guys! Take a look at this.” He called out to Suguru and Shoko.

Suguru and Shoko walked over to Gojo, taking a look at the shrine that Gojo found. All three of them looked at the shrine and noticed that there were old symbols. None of them couldn’t make out what it said. It was an old language that none of them could trace. That wasn’t all that they noticed but there was a small statue of a woman. The woman was covered in black clothing and a silver crown that represented royalty. She had white makeup with deep midnight black lipstick. Her eyes were closed but she only had black eyeshadow. The lady mostly had black makeup, no other color but just black. She had black markings on her face. It was a spooky statue to stare at. All three of them had chills going throughout their body. Even Gojo Satoru was sort of scared of this statue. He’ll never admit it but the expression on his face was telling it all. As they backed away from the shrine, sudden footsteps can be heard right behind them.

Suguru was the first to react, summoning a cursed spirit and striking at whatever was coming towards them. It was a good call because a shadow creature was approaching them and it was ready to attack them from behind. The snake cursed spirit struck the shadow figure. Meanwhile, Satoru brought Shoko away from the fight. She stood right next to the shrine, holding her grip on the table that it was standing on. Gojo ran towards the upcoming shadows and blasted at them one by one. Both Suguru and Satoru fought the shadow figures at their best. They both slammed the shadow creatures with their cursed technique. While Shoko stayed back, watching the fight in front of her. She leaned back on the shrine, watching the battle happening. But, her hand moved towards the shrine and touched it just by the tip of her finger.

The moment that her finger touched the shrine, the statue of the shadow figure woman started to shake. Her eyes glowed a black glow which alarmed Shoko. She looked back to see what was happening to the shrine. She saw the eyes glow from the statue, giving her chills throughout her whole body. She froze in place, losing the ability to move her body. A force stopped her from moving, she even lost the ability to even speak. She couldn’t scream for help. Even when she tried hard, her mouth was sewed shut. She tried to alarm Suguru and Satoru that she needed help from them but there was no way for her to even make that possible. Shoko tried her hardest but nothing worked. She cried out in her mind but something was crawling behind her back. She tried to turn her neck to see what it was but her no movement could not be moved.

In a sudden wave, her surroundings became black and a figure appeared from the distance. Shoko once again tried to scream for help but she was left helpless. She didn’t know what was happening but whatever was going to happen, it wasn’t going to be good. There was no Satoru or Suguru around so she lost hope of getting their help. But, that wasn’t her main problem at the moment. The figure that was far from her was now getting closer to her. The figure looked like the statue on the shrine. She wondered if the statue was the figure or the figure was the statue. Whatever it was, this figure meant more harm than good. The closer the figure got, the more she saw that it was a woman with a white face and a silver crown on her face. Once she came closer to Shoko, she felt her cold breeze hitting her face. Shoko blinked, desperate to break free from her prison. Out of nowhere, she felt the woman’s hand move across her cheek.

Shoko shivered by the sudden coldness of the woman’s hands. Her fingers were bringing chills throughout her whole body. She couldn't help but hope that eventually she’ll break out of it. She begged in her mind that she’ll be free soon. She hoped that either Suguru or Satoru would save her or snap her out of this daze. But knowing that they won’t come to her rescue anytime soon, she eventually gave up hoping that they’ll save her from this woman. But out of nowhere, a burst of wind hit her and she felt a joint in her body. Her body shook and her bones ached. The woman was gone but she felt something inside of her that she can’t explain herself. In a sudden movement, her eyes rolled back of her head and her eyes became the color black. She floated in the air, her feet weren’t touching the hard surface anymore. In the moment of time, she dropped to the floor and passed out.
