Mute The Live

Summary:

“I fell asleep in your bed,” Hao announced sleepily. It was brazen, but he didn’t care. He especially didn’t care when Hanbin blushed and gazed at him with sparkly eyes.

“Who did?” he asked, biting his lip at the end. Hao pointed at himself. Like Hanbin even needed the confirmation. Hao’s blond hair stuck up on his head and he swore he could feel a pillow mark. Hanbin laughed. “Sorry, sorry.”

Sorry? He was sorry? Hao stepped a little closer. “Mute the live for a bit.”

*

Hao walks into Hanbin doing his live in Hao’s bed. When he’s told to wait, he doesn’t take it too well.

Notes:

I keep seeing the same clips from Hanbin’s voice live so I just had to do this eep!

Work Text:

“Where’s Hanbin?”

Taerae looked up from where he was drying his hair on his bed to where Hao stood in the doorway. He smirked at Hao in a way the older wasn’t sure he liked. “Are you looking for him, Hyung?”

“Where is he?” Hao repeated, not answering Taerae’s question or his knowing grin. The other shrugged.

“I don’t know,” Taerae answered. “He left while I was in the shower.”

“Left?”

“Have you checked your bed?” Taerae teased.

Hao knew Taerae was just teasing him. They all did it to them. The worst offenders were, of course, Taerae and Ricky. The blond at least had the sense to switch to Chinese before saying something crude. Taerae, on the other hand, used his gaze as his weapon. Hanbin copped it too, mostly from Matthew and Gyuvin. Everyone seemed to know about whatever Hao and Hanbin had, so it wasn’t even worth hiding.

Despite the teasing, Taerae was right. If Hanbin wasn’t in the common areas of their dorm or his own room, chances were he was in Hao and Gunwook’s. Hanbin seemed to like Hao’s bed almost as Hao liked his.

“I’ll be back…” Hao announced vaguely.

“Should I make sure you get a room to yourself?” Taerae asked, raising an eyebrow.

Hao just stuck out his tongue at him and left.

Hao cracked his door open and peeked inside to see Hanbin lying on his stomach on his bed. He had Hao’s pillow cuddled to his chest and his phone lying on the mattress next to him. He kicked his feet absentmindedly as he spoke softly. He was just so… So cute. Hao let himself in and approached, startling Hanbin.

“Oh, what-“ He exclaimed. “Sorry! I’m doing a live.”

Ah… So he was on a live right now. Probably not a good idea to follow through on what he was planning on doing and join him on the bed.

“Are you live now?” Hao asked, trying not to sound disappointed.

Hanbin nodded and reached out to take Hao’s hand. “Taerae was showering so I came in here to do the live for a bit.”

“Ah…” Hao replied. He must have pouted because Hanbin laughed softly at the end.

“Sorry, sorry!” he chuckled. This time Hao pouted on purpose, hoping Hanbin felt a little bad.

“Sung Hanbin’s stupid,” Hao teased. Stupid for not realising the Hao would want to hold him as soon as he got home. Stupid for looking so cute on Hao’s bed. Stupid for being on live right now when Hao wanted to spend some… quality time with him.

“Hey…” Hanbin complained softly.

“Sung Hanbin’s stupid,” Hao continued singing. “Sung Hanbin’s stupid!”

Hanbin sighed softly. “What?”

Hao let go of his hand and stepped away. As he did he gave Hanbin a very purposeful look. One that Hanbin would have seen many times. I want you.

Soon. Hanbin mouthed back to him. He then tapped something into his phone. Hao pulled out his own phone when it buzzed to see the message that Hanbin had sent.

Wait in my bed. I’ll be there soon.

“Not there?” Taerae asked when Hao returned to Hanbin’s room.

Hao sighed. “He was. He’s taking up my bed.”

“You’re not going to join him?” Taerae asked. Hao wanted to hit him. Instead, he rolled his eyes.

“He’s doing a live right now,” he explained. He crossed the room and flopped onto Hanbin’s bed. “I’m going to rest here instead.”

“In other words…” Taerae mused, swinging his legs around to touch the floor. “You’re going to wait here for Hanbin Hyung?”

“I’m resting,” Hao replied, closing his eyes for effect. Truly, he was tired. It’d been a long day and he craved nothing more than wrapping himself in a certain someone’s arms and falling asleep.

“Right…” Taerae scoffed, getting up. “I’ll go hang out with the others while you rest.”

“You don’t have to,” Hao replied.

“I do,” Taerae laughed. “Sweet dreams, Hyung.”

He left before Hao could protest, turning off the overhead light as he did. As soon as he was gone, Hao shifted to let himself under the covers and snuggle down into Hanbin’s bed properly. He breathed in the scent of the other and his floral shampoo on his pillow. This was almost as comforting as the man himself. He closed his eyes. He really was sleepy… Hanbin would wake him up, right?

His nap wasn’t long enough. It was the kind that left him more tired than when he’d fallen asleep. To his displeasure, Hanbin wasn’t magically in the bed with him. He checked his phone. Only half an hour had passed.

Still.

Half an hour was half an hour without Sung Hanbin.

Hao climbed out of Hanbin’s bed and snuck out of his room. He wandered down the hall to his own room. He could hear the other’s soft voice through the door, still chatting away to the fans. Hao gently pushed the door open.

“Still not done?” he asked. He knew the fans could probably hear him speak but he didn’t care. Maybe that would get Hanbin to hurry up.

Hanbin looked up at him. “No.”

Part of him loved leaving little crumbs for fans. They all ate it up, throwing comments and likes their way at every stolen touch or glance. There were some things they couldn’t know, though. For example, Hao didn’t want them to hear what came next. It seems Hanbin sensed it too, because he scrambled.

“Of course- Hold on!” He pressed the mute button and gave Hao his full attention. “Hao…”

“You’re cruel, Sung Hanbin,” Hao snapped, closing the distance between them.

“Hyung,” Hanbin sighed, using the honorific. “You knew I was doing a live.”

“You told me to wait for you and I did,” Hao complained. “How long do I have to wait?”

Hanbin sat up. “I haven’t done a live in a while, Hyung. It’s only been half an hour.”

“I don’t like how you talk to them,” Hao admitted. He knew he was being petty. Hanbin was just doing his job. Even still, he didn’t like the way Hanbin’s voice got all soft when he talked to the fans. It was a tone he used with him, too, when they whispered across to each other over a pillow.

“Hao,” Hanbin sighed. “Don’t be jealous.”

“I’m not jealous,” Hao lied.

“Really?” Hanbin challenged. Hao didn’t like that either.

He cupped the back of Hanbin’s head and pulled him in, crashing their lips together. Hanbin made a noise of surprise, gasping into the sudden kiss. Hao kissed him desperately, holding him in place so he couldn’t escape. Hanbin closed his eyes and leaned into the kiss, letting his mouth open softly for his hyung. Hao smiled into the kiss as he pressed harder. Hanbin was so easy. Of course, he’d give into Hao like this. He always was so keen to please his hyung.

Hanbin groaned and pulled away as much as he could. “Hao… I’m on live now.”

Hao let go of his neck and leaned back. He liked the way Hanbin’s lips now glistened and his cheeks flushed in a pale pink. “It’s muted.”

“I know it’s muted,” Hanbin sighed, biting his lip. “You still can’t do that.”

“I bet you feel bad for keeping me waiting,” Hao teased.

“Hyung!” Hanbin whined.

“In my bed like that… You really were just asking to be kissed.” Hao moved away from the bed and sat at the little desk in the room. “Better finish that live quickly.”

Hanbin bit his lip. “Give me five minutes”

Hao stayed in the room while Hanbin finished his live. Their leader was such a good actor. All he did was take a breath before resuming his live, acting as if Hao hadn’t just kissed him stupid and was still giving him bedroom eyes from across the room. He was so kind to the fans, speaking to them softly and laughing. He wrapped up the live quickly, chucking his phone aside and sighing. He then looked at Hao. “You’re terrible, Hyung.”

Hao just smiled at him and got up, holding out his hand. “Come on.”

Hanbin frowned but took it anyway. “Why not here?”

“Because I already got comfy in your bed. I want to go back,” Hao sighed.

Hanbin smiled at him. “Fine. Lead the way.”

Hao led him from his room, holding onto his hand tightly. As they crossed the hall, Gunwook glanced up from the couch he was on, making Hao pause. Gunwook just smirked at him and turned to Taerae. “Hyung, shall we have a sleepover tonight?”

Taerae looked where Gunwook was looking at the two guilty members in the hall. He smirked as well. “Sounds like a great idea.”

Hanbin mouthed a thank you and Hao dragged him to his room. As soon as they were in the privacy of Hanbin’s room, Hao pressed a soft kiss to his lips before letting go of his hand.

“Hao? What-“

“Sorry, were you expecting something else?” Hao challenged.

Hanbin quickly shook his head. “Of course not.”

Hao smiled. Hanbin was a good actor but not a good liar. The older boy climbed into Hanbin’s bed and settled in. He then looked over the covers to Hanbin who was standing dumbly by the door. “Come on then.”

The corners of Hanbin’s mouth rose and his eyes crinkled. He undid his jeans and slid them down and off before joining Hao in his small bed. Hao kicked off his own track pants and shoved them out of the bed. instantly, their limbs tangled together. Hao melted into Hanbin’s arms. He pressed his face into the other’s neck and breathed him in.

“Finally,” he whispered against the soft skin. “It took you long enough.”

Hanbin shivered. “This is what you wanted?”

Hao sighed. He sunk into Hanbin’s arms even further. Yeah, this was what he was waiting for. “Is it not enough for you?” he challenged.

Hanbin hummed. “You were the one trying to make out with me while I was on my live.”

Hao pulled back and rolled his eyes at him. “That was to hurry you up.”

Hanbin kissed him, letting his lips linger. “I’m sorry! I’m here now.”

Hao laughed into his mouth. “Is Hanbinnie frustrated?”

“What do you think?” Hanbin asked. Instead of an answer, he pulled Hao closer by the waist until he was pressed up against him. There, he could feel the firm bulge in the front of Hanbin’s boxers.

“Were you getting hard while live?” Hao teased.

Hanbin bit his lip. “Whose fault is that?”

“Your own for keeping me waiting.”

Hanbin stole another kiss. This time it melted into something more. Hao giggled into Hanbin’s mouth. The younger man wasn’t gentle. It was cute, seeing him this riled up and desperate. That laugh ended in a gasp as Hanbin rocked his hips forward. Hao had to hold back from rutting against Hanbin and chasing the little spark of pleasure that Hanbin’s own little movements ignited in him. Instead, he put his hands on Hanbin’s hips and pushed them back, pulling from the kiss with a breathless groan and a shake of his head.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

“I thought you wanted me, Hyung,” Hanbin replied.

Hao did, but he wasn’t going to let Hanbin win. He smiled at the younger boy.

“If I had to wait, so do you.”

“Ah, Hyung!” Hanbin complained. He tried to lace as much sweetness into his voice as possible, a trick that would usually have Hao absolutely melting. Instead, he pressed a quick kiss to Hanbin’s lips.

“We have the whole night,” he reminded him.

Hanbin sighed and sunk back into his bed. “I suppose you’re right.”

Hao smiled and nestled into Hanbin’s arms again. They lay like that for a while before Hao spoke again.

“By the way, Bin-ah.”

Hanbin pulled away to look at him. “What is it?”

“If you go live again, you have to promise to hold me for a bit first, okay?”

Hanbin smiled. He brought his face forward do their noses and foreheads touched. “I promise.”
