Armin's POV
"What?! You can't cancel now! The magazine is being published next week! The photos are due tomorrow!!"
I can't have my only model cancel on my at a time like this... "Well fine! Just know when you get back from this so called 'vacation' you're not going to have a job!!"
I quickly slammed the phone and hung up. 'What am I going to do...'
'Knock knock knock' I looked up and saw my assistant. "Come in Mikasa" The shy but built woman came in and handed me some papers. "Here are the 'Models wanted' fliers you wanted sir" I nodded and sat them down.
"Sir, if your-" "Mikasa we've been friends since high school no need to call me sir, this isn't even really a business" She smiles and nodded.
"My brother can come and model for you. He's been looking for work and I know how you always had a keen eye on him throughout school."
I laughed, remembering the suicidal blockhead. "Eren? A model? You've got to be kidding!" She laughed.
"I know it seems impossible but he's been looking for a good modeling job for some time. He's been offered countless times but never thought they were right for him"
I stayed silent for a moment, thinking if I could even face him. "Ok, tell him to give me a call if he's up for it and that we can meet at the Wall Maria Cafe to discuss this."
She smiled more and nodded and gave me a hug. "Now go home. I'll take care of everything."
After I got home I sat on my couch and sighed. I haven't thought about that name in years....
~ FLASHBACK ~
"Ymir! I can't do that! He's a popular kid, and I'm just the stereotypical background nerd." Ymir wrapped her arm around me and chuckled.
"If another person lays a single skin flake on you, you know I'll beat their ass!"
I sighed and motioned towards him. "He doesn't even know I exist and he's obviously straight! I mean, every week there's a new girl!"
"Well cheer up, you'll have him soon." She said, followed by a wink.
After lunch I was walking to my locker when a group of jocks surrounded me. "Hey faggot, where's your boyfriend?" I decided to ignore them for the millionth time.
"Did he realize how feminine you look and go back to girls?" I slammed my locker and turned around.
"Did your girlfriend finally found out that colossal over there was daddy in your phone?"
He raised his hand and I closed my eyes prepared for my fate when I noticed nothing was happening. I opened my eyes and saw Eren Jeager holding the kids fist in his hand like it was snow.
"Back the fuck off him. He hasn't done anything to you and if you do anything to him I'll snap your wrist like a twig"
The group of guys huffed then walked away. Why Yeager? Did he just not like bullying that much?
Eren turned and faced me. "Armin Arlert right? I'm glad I made it here in time! Are you ok?" I nodded and mumbled a quick 'thank you' and started to my class room when I noticed he was following me.
"Hey um, I notice you get stopped by them a lot and I'm sorry I haven't done something earlier but-" "Thank you for stepping in, but I really need to get to class". I turned back around and left him standing there without another word since.
