Chapter Text

As the sun rose Tanjro and Nezuko climbed up the mountain to their house after selling their entire stock of charcoal. As the two walked home, Tanjiro caught the scent of blood.

“What’s wrong?” Nezuko asked frighteningly. Before she could finish, Tanjiro started to run up the mountain with Nezuko running right behind him shouting, “BROTHER WAIT!”

(What happened, I always knew that Tanjiro has a keen sense of smell that lets him lets him sense danger but it’s never seemed this bad before, what could have happened this everyone at home alright?)

As the two reach their house they see that blood is everywhere. “Mother it’s us, is everything…” Nezuko stopped as she saw Tanjiro on his knees looking inside the home as if his life was sucked out of him.
When she looked inside she stood in horror as she looked upon the bloody corpses of their family.

Soon after the twins finished mourning the death of their family and buried their corpses, an unknown figure with a sword approached them and drew his blade at them.

“Where’s the demon?” he asked.
“Demon, what do you mean?” Tanjiro asked with confusion.
The swordsman sighed and explained, “The thing that killed your family was a man- eating demon, my job is to kill demons and you two clearly don’t know where it went.” The man started to walk away, terrified and filled with rage with their families death the twins yell out at the man.

“These demons, can you teach us to kill them, if a demon killed mom and the others, I can't just stand by mourning while their lives go in vain. Please, I’m begging you to help us. I'll do anything to avenge their lives.” Tanjiro shouted with Nezuko on her knees saying,

“We’ll go through the darkest pit of hell in order to find the monster that killed our family if we have to, no matter what we will kill all demons if we have to, I promise on my life”.

The man stopped and began to think,(These two seem capable and they have better survival chances when they’re together). Then the man gave them a map and compass saying, “Go to Sakonji Urokodaki’s house 8 miles from here when you get there tell him that Giyu Tomioka sent you”. “THANK YOU” Nezuko shouted while crying over her family's death.
After gathering all the money and supplies they needed Tanjiro and Nezuko began their journey to become demon slayers, as they left their home Tanjiro reflected on his life with his family and after looking at his sister forcing a smile the two descended the mountain.

Nezuko had started to sprint to the location in order to keep her body physically prepared for their training. Tanjiro trying keep up with Nezuko’s speed pantsed while staying determined to get stronger, (Nezuko was always the bold out of us all, even when when something went wrong in the village she always tried stopping it with brute force to protect the younger ones, we have to avenge them no matter what), “Nezuko wait up please, you going to waste all your energy!” Tanjiro shouted.

For the next 2 years Tanjiro and Nezuko trained to become demon slayers and mastered water breathing more efficiently due to dual style attacks and cooperation with each other enhanced the skills.

Nezuko's greater flexibility and stamina allowed her to master water breathing more quickly than her brother, which Tanjiro got a little jealous of. The twins soon invented their own unique breathing form.

Water breathing 12th form dual dragon tsunami which dealt a long range attack a mix between forms 1,10,8,and 6 to deal a powerful attack caused by two water users to unleash a barrage of water dragons to take out multiple enemies (strongest form of water breathing). After two years of mastering their skills the twins went to final selection. When there they encountered a demon that ate a majority of water breathers.

While fighting Nezuko took a bite off the demon's arm to free herself after which her wounds started to heal incredibly fast, she concluded that eating demon flesh gives the consumer temporary healing powers. After getting their composure the twins unleash the 12th form as Nezuko attacked from the front while Tanjiro sliced off the demon's head from behind. After surviving final selection the twins get their swords.
While Nezukos sword turns bright red Tanjiros sword turns black. The swordsmith starts to climb up on Tanjiro uncomfortably as Nezuko tries to pull him off her brother.

The next day a crow comes down, ordering them to their next mission. That night before leaving their master told them about Muzan the demon king and the lower/ upper moons.

The kamado siblings would go on to kill 12 demons within 2 weeks of joining the corps due to their skill in tag teaming the enemy. Their next mission was to go to Tokyo in order to investigate demon activity.

“There’s so many lights I don’t know if we can find anything unusual,” Nezuko whispered in shock at the big city. “Just hold my hand Nezuko and I’ll…” Tanjiro stopped as he caught a familiar scent of blood that he found in his house after his family died. He stopped still in the middle of the street silent which made Nezuko worry, “What’s wrong Tanjiro?”...

“Follow me Nezuko and be ready to fight. I just found the scent of the demon that killed our family.” Tanjiro started to rush through the crowd as Nezuko followed behind, (This is it, this is what we’ve been training for, finally after two long grulling years of training me and Nezuko will finally avenge our family’s death)...

Tanjiro looked in shock to see that the demon who slaughtered his loved ones was more human looking than demonic looking and that he had a human family. The shocked twins stood in silence when suddenly the demons claws struck a bystander turning him into a demon as they attempted to stop the newly turned demon, Nezuko shouted out at the top off her lungs “It’s the demon king Tanjiro, he’s the only one would can turn humans into demons, (That bastard destroying this civilians life as a scapegoat, I swear I won’t rest until i behead that monster). “Muzan, we know your face, we will expose your identity to the world and one day destroy you.” Tanjiro shouted as Muzan slipped through the crowd.

Suddenly a colorful mist surrounded the wins as they found themselves passing out and waking up in a house greeted by two demons.
“My name is Lady Tamayo, I’m a demon doctor who is allied with the master of the demon slayer crops.

Nezuko immediately drew out her sword after learning they were in the presence of a demon but muscles became numb due to the demon's mist.

“I promise you that neither of us will bring you any harm. We do not serve Muzan and don’t need a large amount of human blood to survive, we only get blood through donations of charity workings” Lady Tamayo said.

“Why in hell's name should I ever trust a Demon? Do you have any idea what your kind has done to me and my brother” Nezuko shouted out, putting her body in front of the waking Tanjiro. Then the demon threw the twins multiple letters sent from the demon slayer's crows to them.

“You can trust them Nezuko, their scent doesn’t seem misleading and they haven’t eaten us while we were asleep so that's a good sign” Tanjiro said as he got up.
As Nezuko drew back her sword she asked, “If you’re demons why don’t you work for the demon king?” Mrs. Tamayo telled the twins the story of how she escaped Muzans control and has been trying to make anti venoms to demon poison attacks and to make elixers to kill demons.
While there Tanjiro and Nezuko learned about the structure of the demon slayer corps and soon their crow gave them orders to escort Lady Tamayo to the demon slayer headquarters for protection.

Meanwhile Muzan summons the lower moon demon Rui and his spider family with a dozen other powerful demons, “YOUR ORDERS ARE TO FIND AND KILL THE TRAITOR TAMAYO AND HER SLAYER ESCORT BEFORE THEY REACH THE HASHIRA, FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!” Muzan demanded.
As the demons left Muzan remembered the earrings the boy in the city was wearing and wondered, (It seems that family was related to you after all Yurichi, I don’t know how they survived but I will not let this error change anything).

A couple of days later as the twins help the doctor travel to HQ which they can only due at night due to demons weakness of sunlight, 3 other demon slayers joined their group by orders of the master, Inosuke,Genya (wind hashira’s kid brother), and a blond boy named Zenitsu.

Group pov

“PLEASE, OH, PLease MARRY ME!” Zenistu screamed at Nezuko. The young boy joined the group after he was assigned to protect Lady Tamayto, with the twins, ever since he joined he has been begging Nezuko to marry him in need of protection which Nezuko has been annoyed by.

“I already told you that I’m not interested! Also you're supposed to protect the innocents, you can’t just run away from danger and leave people to die!” Nezuko said to the blonde. “I’m sorry Nezuko I just don’t want to die alone please…”Zenistu is stopped by Tanjiro,

“You're bothering her now stop messing around and go help push the wagon.” The demon slayers have been using a large wagon to bring Lady Tamayto to the master's mansion while bringing her supplies traveling during the night due to her demon blood. This has led to multiple attacks from demons which is why 3 other slayers were sent in as extra security.
Inosuke is a young man that was raised by boars (according to him) and invented his own breathing style.
Genya, the wind hashira's younger brother who also used eating demon flesh as a combat method, similar to what Nezuko did in final selection.

“Genya” Nezuko shouted, “I heard that you use demon flesh eating as a way to fight, can you teach me how to master that ability?” Genya walked past her without acknowledging her but eventually said, “Each piece lasts an hour, don’t touch the sun while affected.” As he walked away to push the wagon Nezuko thanked him.
That night the group was taking a rest while discussing the corps and their pasts when suddenly a horde of demons attacked their position Genya went to fight the weaker demons while Nezuko, Tanjiro, Zenistu, and Inosuke were attacked by a giant with a spider head.

Genya pov

Genya ran towards the nearby river to draw the weaker demons away. The young warrior couldn’t master any breathing styles so he deeply relied on his hand guns and eating demon flesh, as well as his 3 sword style. After leading the weaker demons into a trap Genya gets kicked 10 meters by a giant spider demon.
(What the hell is that thing, it’s like a demon spider took over master Gyomei’s body. Focus shithead, you already ate some demon flesh before the fight started so you have a small advantage.) Genya calmed down his mind and then, (American breathing second form gunpowder blaze) He plucked a tree from the roots and imploded the beast, rooting it into the dirt. “Your finished demon scum” (American breathing first form double barrel barrage) His shotgun unleashed multiple rounds until the demon's head was blown off.
“Hehe, guess all the training with master Gyomei paid off after all. Now time to finish off the rest of the horde".

Zenistu pov

“Water breathing 6th form, whirlpool” Nezuko unleashed a hive of spider demons over Zenistu before they could poison him. She then proceeded to punch the boy.
“Snap out of it and fight if you want to live so badly” Nezuko then stops as she sees that she knocked the boy out, (crap I hit him too hard, I’m sorry Zenistu). Seeing that demons were starting to surround them, Nezuko unleashed a flurry of attacks, “Striking Tide, Flowing dance, water wheel, water surface slash,constant flux”. Nezuko took out 40 demons until her lungs ran out of overused energy, (Crap I overused it). As the other 60 demons cornered her she shouted “Zenistu I’m sorry I hit you I just didn’t want you to get everyone killed, just please wake up”. A second later thunder shook the sky and Zenistu woke with lightning and rage in his eyes, “Thunder breathing first form, thunderclap”. In what felt like a second Nezuko witnessed Zenistu kill the rest of the demons without opening his eyes. When landed Nezuko ran up and hugged him as her life flashed before her eyes and then remembered something important from the past, “Thank you Zenistu” Nezuko said as she ran to her brother's location. As Zenistu stood in hock one thing popped up in his exhausted body, (AHHHH NEZUKO HUGGEDMEEEEEEE).

Tanjiro pov

Tanjiro saw Inosuke running towards a large group of powerful demons alone but couldn’t help him due to an encounter of lower 5. The demon Rui found the boar fighter killing his family and tied him up but before could use fatal shots Nezuko appeared and cut the demon's hand. “So you two are the descendants of him aren't you”. Rui said while infusing his blood in his webs.
“W-what do you mean by his descendants?” Nezuko asked.
“It really doesn’t matter now seeing that in a few moments you’ll be dead with the traitor” Rui said as he and the twins started to fight with them successfully dodging his moves.

“Nezuko, are you ready?” Tanjiro asked. She nodded and then they rushed forward. (This move could only be done with two water breathers), “water breathing 12th form, dual dragon tsunami”. The force of the swords shattered when they contacted the red threads.
“What, how the..” Tanjiro stuttered until Rui yanked Nezuko into his web connected to the trees. “I’ll ask this once, hand over the traitorous demon or die.” Rui said with nezuko choking on the threads as poison entered her body.
Seeing nezuko on the brink of death Tanjiro remebered his father’s hinokami kagura dance that thwarted of evil spirits and decide to use the style to cut the threads.
With poison running through her body Nezuko bit into the threads to gain healing. As she felt her heart beating faster than ever and her body boiling she suddenly tore through the webs and stabbed Rui in the eye with her broken sword, blinding him temporarily. The twins were soon exhausted from overusing breathing styles and as Tanjiro opened his eyes, he saw a red moon shaped mark form on Nezuko’s lower face.
(What was that she just seemed to get stronger out of nowhere and what’s with that mark?). Tanjiro was interrupted in thoughts by Rui hitting him so hard he felt his ribs break. “You two actually think you can kill me? A member of the 12…). Before he could strike a fatal blow the demon's head was cut off by a demon slayer wearing a butterfly headband. (Who is she?) Tanjiro thought. The girl walked up to him and said, “Oh my you look like you’ve been mortally wounded, and the other one has some sort of poison in her. Don’t worry I’ve already injected her with an antidote, and the rest of your group is still alive so rest easy”. Tanjiro fainted and thought about his past (The dance actually worked.

“Wake up, wake up damn it, you're in the presence of the master”. A medical corp member said as Tanjiro woke up.

Meeting
The next day Tanjiro and Nezuko were in the demon slayer HQ to be questioned.
“Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, we have brought you here due to your encounter with Muzan and surviving long enough to see his face. We need to know his description to find his identity.” The twins wasted no time describing facial features of Muzan, soon after the children from final selection came out and opened an old journal they said belonged to the first demon slayer.

“The first demon slayer created the breathing form that branched into every form of breathing we use today, Sun breathing. He also had a mysterious mark that appeared on his face whenever he fought demons which gave him a huge amount of strength and speed” the children said. Tanjiro and nezuko sat in confusion of how important it was.
“Kamado children, this man’s name was Yoruichi Kamado.” The master said.
Tanjiro and Nezuko were silent then suddenly shouted, “IM-Impossible our family have been charcoal miners as far as our history goes. The only way I knew that form was because our father did a ritual dance to protect our home from spirits. Was that man’s mark the same as the one Nezuko had in the forest that night. Our family records never had anyone named Yoruichi. Why-”. Suddenly the large hashira clapped his hands and everyone was silent until the master started to speak. “In the beginning days of the corps there were 3 brothers of the Kamado family that created breathing forms, Yoruichi with sun breathing, Kokushibo with moon breathing, and Sumiyoshi with eclipse breathing. These brothers brought Muzan to his knees until the youngest, Sumiyoshi, fell ill in their battle with Muzan which gave the demon king the chance to feel. Sumiyoshi was forced to live in hiding after the loss of his mark caused by a blood infection created by Muzan. The older brothers sent Sumiyoshi towards a holy mountain where the blue spider lilies grow so that he could live his life in peace with his wife and children.”

(Now that I think of it, the ancestor journal was created by a man named Sumiyoshi so it does make sense of how we know this breathing form.) Nezuko thought.
“After that inseident the elder brothers created the demon slayer crops knowing that they wouldn’t live forever and had to pass their skills down to the next generation, and since that day the Kamado family have held the tidal of the only people to use the 3 first breathing forms like your father”. The master said.

“Our father was a demon slayer!” Tanjiro exclaimed in shock. “The latest sun hashira and a fine man, I’m so happy to see his children’s faces” The master said.
“Nezuko that mark on you was only a survival sense right now but with enough training we can finally bring the mark back after 600 years”, the Master said. As the medical team arrived to bring the twins to the butterfly mansion Tanjiro asked, “Why hasn’t this mark been used in 600 years if it’s so efficient in killing demons?”
The master replied, “Well the journal says that their is 3 phases of the mark, 1st phase is survival instincts that kick in when the users life is in danger and causes those around them to activate the mark much easier, 2nd phase is when you can summon the mark at will and allows you to become much faster and stronger than phase 1, phase 3 is when you let the mark consume you to defeat a demon a the cost of your life, that is way using the mark went out of custom.”

Tanjiro thanked the master for the explanation and was sent to the butterfly mansion for recovery. When he arrived he saw the girl who saved him and Nezuko from the lower moon 5. “Her name is Kanao, my older sister, I’m Aoi, my job is tending to the wounded demon slayers in the corps hospital with my younger sisters, Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi, they’re triplets so they all look alike. Anyway, big sister Shinobu is the insect hashira and she decided to give you all periment hospitality in our home so behave yourselves.” Aoi finished talking and brought Tanjiro to the medical beds. Zenistu and Inosuke were there healing from the last battle. Inosuke seemed downed after being humbled by strong demons and was more motivated than ever to get stronger,and Zenistu doesn’t remember fighting at all. Genya had already started a fight between Inosuke causing a mess.
“So this is where we live now, how fun” Nezuko said with sarcasm.

“Don't worry I have your sleeping quarters next to my room so if you need anything you know where to find me. Also I made a request to the swordsmith village to get you new swords so someone in a mask should be here in a few weeks after you are in good health.” Aoi finished and called the triplets “They’re all yours to handle” Aoi said and Immediately after that the triplets went to work on healing the group and establishing the rehabilitation training.

After a full recovery Nezuko began to learn with Tanjiro about the different forms of sun, moon and eclipse breathing. From the journal they learned that eclipse breathing is a combination of sun and moon breathing. It was invented by Sumiyoshi to keep up with his older brothers.
The next day a crow was sent to Tanjiro containing a letter from his late father. (I should read this with Nezuko when she returns from training) Tanjiro thought.
Nezuko had been assigned to be Misturi the Love Hashira's Tsuguko. (She must have seen some potential in Nezuko’s skills. I hope Giyu will agree to help train me.) Tanjiro thought.
Total constant breathing skills helped the group get stronger and master their abilities. Amonth later Nezuko returned from training.
“Lady Kanroji and I worked on flexibility training and heightening my senses so I could mimic your sensory kills Tanjiro” Nezuko said as Zenistu attempted to hug Nezuko, “I MISSED YOU SO MUCH IT WAS SO LONELY WITHOUT YOU NEZUKO CAN WE BE TOGETHER NOW”. Nezuko laughed and said, “Never gonna happen and you might want to act respectful in front of girls, Zenistu”. As Zenistu started to hit his head on a fence out of self shame Tanjiro showed Nezuko the letter their father left them.

The letter

“Tanjiro, Nezuko if you're reading this then I have died and something terrible has happened. I’m sorry I was never able to teach you two about the history and powers of our ancestors, my sickness prevented me from using our breathing forms causing me to leave the demon slayers when you were 11. I joined the demon slayers at age 13, and became the sun hashira at age 14, everytime I said I was leaving to sell products in the port cities I was in reality hunting demons. Your mother knew this from the beginning and fully accepted it as she knew that demons couldn’t come to our mountain due to the 2 blue spider lilies. When you two were too young to remember I had a vision given by our ancestors that the two of you would consume the power of the last 2 blue spider lilies and bring an end to Muzan’s power. So I turned them into powder and fed it to you while you were in infantantcy. I give to you the archives of the slayer mark and all forms of our ancestors skills but you should know that activating your marks will cause others around you to unlock their marks and unless someone has consumed a blue spider lilly then the mark bearer will die young. I wish good fortunte to the two of you.
Sincerely your father”.

As Tanjiro closed the letter he looked over to Nezuko who started crying. “It’s okay Nezuko I promise that no matter what we will always be together, I won’t lose anyone else”. As the two embraced, a messenger crow flew in.
“Tanjiro and Nezuko are to go to the Mugan train to investigate sightings of Muzan” It squawked.
As the twins got ready for the journey they saw Inosuke, Genya, Kanao and Zenistu walking up to them.

“Are you coming with us?” Nezuko asked.
“A sighting of Muzan means that all the hashira will be investigating in that area so my sister will need me as support.” Kanao replied.
“Like I’d miss out on the chance to fight an epic monster!” Inosuke shouted.

With everything prepared they gave their farewells to Aoi and the triplets and went out to meet the other Hashira at the train station.
(Father I promise to carry out your vision and destroy Muzan once and for all). Tanjiro said to himself while dragging Zenistu who tried to run away again out of fear of being eaten by Muzan.

INFINITY CASTLE MEETING

Kaigaku suddenly heard a biwa strung and he was in a large room with 5 other demons.
(These are the lower moons. Did one of them die? Am I becoming the next lower-).
“That is no longer required as of today I’m dismantling the lower moons.” Muzan shouted as Kaigaku fell to the floor crying in pain. (What is this, just when I got to become powerful, I need to say something to him or-). “Or what boy. Why should I spare your life?” Kaigaku could tell that Muzan could read demons' minds so he had to think fast. “Lord Muzan I was a former demon slayer, I know where you can find their headquarters and their weakness. Whatever you need I will accomplish”. Kaigaku pleaded. Muzan looked at him with soulless eyes.
“The upper ranks have stayed the same for over a century and the lower ranks are always being killed off faster than I can assign new ones. What would you do to change my mind?” Muzan asked.

“They now know your face, when I learned this I mimicked your appearance in a train station in the south. Now all the hashira are going there in search of you. We could lead them into a trap and end the corps' interference with your glorious plans, lord Muzan.” Kaigaku pleaded.
Silence started and then Muzan snapped his fingers causing the walls to implode the lower moons with his blood.
“Failure is not an option. I’ll meet you on the Mugan train in 30 moons. Stall them with any demons you need until I arrive.” Muzan said as the biwa player strung it which teleported the demons to the Mugan train station. Kaigaku sighed in relief that he survived his encounter with Muzan and woke up the other lower moons.
“This is are last chance to prove our worth to lord Muzan so we have to make sure everything goes smoothly in our plan”.

Kanao pov

As Kanao saw the butterfly mansion go out of sight she reflected on her life. Ever since she was adopted by Kanae 8 years ago, she had lost her eldest sister and 3 of her brothers to demons. For centuries her adopted family has been providing flower, water and insect hashira’s and she was expected to fill in the role of the flower hashira when she turns 16. For years she felt like her life was meaningless and stopped caring about herself and let others decide her fate such as her sister Shibou. That is until she met Tanjiro who encouraged her to make her own choices based on what she thought was right which helped her be more decisive in combat.

GIYU POV

The water hashira was the first to arrive at the train station that Muzan was rumored to be. (This station has had a large amount of demon sightings in the last 10 days so it would be a perfect base of operation for Muzan.) Giyu thought, then he heard screams from the nearby town. “So you're the slasher that I’ve heard about” Giyu said to the demon after freeing a hostage when he ran into the inn with his heightened speed.

“Damn you brat. You stole my lunch, I guess you’ll have to supplement.” the speed demon threatened as he dashed throws Giyu.
“Water breathing 11th form, dead calm.” Giyu slashed the demon's head off as if he teleported behind the slasher.
(H-he cut my head off, but how? His body seemed completely unfazed when I attacked. Is he a hashira?) the slasher thought in shock as his body disappeared.
“Thank you sir, I owe you my life!” the civilian said to Giyu as he dashed away while the sun rose.

Rengoku/Misturi POV

As Misturi entered the udon shop she heard her old master eating his noodles.
“TASTY!” Rengoku shouted at the top of his lungs every time he took a bite. Misturi waved her hand as Rengoku caught sight of her.
“Ah Misturi, come sit with me.” Rengoku gestured. As they ate udon Rengoku started to talk about the Muzan sightings.
“Last night Giyu was able to kill the slasher before it could kill a hostage. Misturi, that Kamado child you started teaching, tell me all about her.” Misturi smiled as she began to blabber on and on about Nezuko.

“She’s the cutest Tsuguko I’ve ever trained.(Wait she’s technically the first Tsuguko I’ve had, still she is the cutest.) She has already shown great potential in combat and has already begun to learn the correct formations for the first form of love breathing,and her inherited skill of sun breathing plus additional training from a former Hashira has made her strikes just as more powerful.” As Misturi finished, Kyojuro began to speak loudly.

“That boy, Tanjiro, has a lot of potential. Hopefully he will develop into the next sun hashira, and the mark returning, it might bring us the strength we need to complete this mission and destroy Muzan Kibutsuji”. The other hashira arrived as well as team Tanjiro in an hour.
“Sensi” Nezuko called out. Misturi smiled as she saw her student was going to be on the big mission with her.
“Nezuko, I’m so glad that this is our first mission together. To be honest your chances of survival will be higher than I could have hoped for now that all the hashira will be on this mission. You are my first student so I just feel scared that I might fail you.” Misturri said.

“Don’t worry, I promise to make you proud.” Nezuko said as Misturi went up to hug her.

ENTER THE MUGAN TRAIN

“What the hell is that thing? I-I need to kill it!” Inosuke screamed as he ran in for a headbutt.
“Stop it Inosuke, it might be the guardian of this land.” Tanjiro said. “We’re sorry for our disturbance, oh great spirit,” Nezuko explained.

Zenistu stood in silence, then, “It’s a train you have never seen before?”

As night fell the demon slayers entered the train and as it departed Tanjiro and Nezuko looked at the sunset.

“It feels like everything we knew was false. I’m scared, Tanjiro. I feel like every step we take to avengeing our family we slowly get sucked into something much bigger and now everyone is expecting us to master these inherited powers I only learned about recently and I don’t know I just feel overwhelmed.” Nezuko said to her brother.

Tanjiro grabbed Nezuko’s hand and said, “Nezuko I promise that no matter how many hardships, expectations, truths, pain, or failure, I promise to always be by your side no matter what happens in the future you can count on your brother”. He was able to get Nezuko to smile and remember all they went through and how far they have come.

As Nezuko cried tears of joy Tanjiro could hear her say as night fell.

Enter train

The Mugan train had 8 carts, with 200 passengers, and 15 demon slayers, 9 of which are the hashira. Tanjiro found the flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
“So you're the flame hashira?” Tanjiro asked. “Do you happen to know anything about my family’s past with sun breathing, seeing that your breathing style seems the closest to my powers.” Rengoku slurped udon for a brief moment and began to speak.
“The founders of the demon slayers created the breathing styles based on the 5 elements of nature, sun, water, thunder, stone and wind, the other styles are branches of the 5 elements such as flame breathing is a branch of sun breathing.” Tanjiro thanked Rengoku for answering his question and moved on to find Kanao.

“Tanjiro” Shinobu addressed. “May I have a word with you?” Tanjiro agreed as she began to tell him of the history of the Hashira’s.
“Each Hashira comes from a rich noble family of samurai which is how we fund the corps. My clan, the Kocho clan, focuses on our mastery of medicine, flower breathing and insect breathing. The Rengoku clan are the disciples of the corps founders and created flame breathing. Mitsuri was originally Kyojuro’s apprentice to be the next flame hashira but invented her own breathing style because 2 years ago the last thunder hashira died and none of the current thunder breath users have hashira required skills yet to fill the void. Muichiro, the mist hashira is a direct descendant of the inventor of moon breathing Kokushibo, so I guess you two are related. Tengen is from a shinobi clan that have connections within the government to cover up demon activity to the public, we don’t want everyone to live in fear of demons. I know you and Giyu share the same master but other than that his past is a mystery, he also has learned how to use the 12th form of water breathing without a partner.” Tanjiro felt dumbfounded (Giyu mastered the form me and Nezuko created alone and in just a week, it took me and Nezuko 18 months to create that form and we couldn’t do it without each other. The hashira are in a whole other league than us.) Tanjiro thought.

Meanwhile Nezuko and Zenistu found Inosuke sleeping. “Tanjiro come over here, me Zenistu are going to unmask Inosuke”. Nezuko whispered . When Tanjiro got there, each friend thought of Inosuke’s face.

Tanjiro: ( Is it scared from overwhelming fighting? Knowing him it probably is).
Zenistu:(It’s probably so ugly he has to hide it from others.)
Nezuko:( Maybe his face got pale from sickness, I know he grew up alone in the wild).
Genya:( Did he lose his nose, and can’t smell anything?)
Kanao:( His speech is always unclear. Maybe he damaged his jaw.)
Muichrio:( What was the name of that duck shaped cloud?)
Tengen: ( the noises from this train indicate that all the lower moons are here.)

As the hide was lifted off of Inosuke the group opened their eyes in shock. What they believed of a face of scars was not Inosuke’s face.
Zenistu:( AHHH he has the face of a beautiful girl.)
Everyone was shocked to see that Inosuke had a beautiful face. Nezuko started to blush and thought, (OH wow he’s kind of… What am I thinking, do I find him attractive? NO NO Snap out of it Nezuko that glorious face is still Inosuke. AHH! Stop it Nezuko It’s still Inosuke, it’s still Inosuke). Nezuko ran away in fear of developing a crush on Inosuke. (COVER THE FACE COVER THE FACE, CAN’t LET THIS FREAK TAKE MY BELOVED NEZUKO!). Zenistu thought as he tried to put Inosuke’s mask back on.
“Your face is very beautiful, Inosuke. (OH CRAP! I said that out loud.) Tanjiro said and instantly regretted it as Inosuke woke up agitated by Tanjiro. “You take that back Machjiro, my enemies scream in terror when they see my face.” Inosuke yelled at Tanjiro’s face.
Meanwhile Nezuko ran to the next cart with Zenistu behind her. “Nezuko don’t go for Inosuke please.” Zenistu exclaimed. “Please don’t mention his name. I'm trying to get that face out of my mind, hell I’d rather be thinking of marrying Zenistu than having Inosuke’s face in my mind”. Nezuko said not knowing that Zenistu was behind her. As Nezuko turned around and saw the Zenistu heard her she thought to herself as Zenistu began to turn red, (I shouldn’t have said that, I really should not have said that).

An hour later the conductor went around to punch the tickets. As he made his final stop at the demon slayer's cart Obanai sensed demon blood in the conductor's tool.

Battle begins

“Everyone the tickets are a demon blood art, destroy them before they activate!” Obanai yelled to the demon slayer’s as he knocked out the conductor. As the slayer’s got their weapons ready, demons started to emerge from the train’s walls. Then 5 of the lower moon broke through the roof to eat the passengers. “Damn you Akigaku, you really are nothing but a con even as a demon.” Muzan said as Saniem quickly killed the lower moons. The demon king jumped out of the train causing the hashira to cash after him before Muzan could flee. “Kyojuro stay here with the lacky’s and protect the passengers, we’ll deal with Muzan” Giyu said as he dashed off the train. Tentacles started to rise from the train. “Flame breathing 6th form, fire dash” Rengoku said as he ran through the carts in a flash causing the demon flesh to instantly burn. “Kanao, blond boy, Genya, you three will protect the passengers in the front 3 carts while I protect the passengers in the remaining 5 carts. “Tanjiro, Nezuko, Boar boy, you three will decapitate the demon that is controlling this train, I recommend searching the roof” Rengoku told the group as he went to the back carts.

Tanjiro and nezuko then stood before the demon at the engine cart, “Well that was quick don’t you think” The lower 1 demon said to Tanjiro. Inosuke dashed towards the demon while yelling, “Don’t open your eyes, this guy’s magic puts you in a coma if he stares into your eyes”. Even though Inosuke was an airhead at times the twins trusted him while in battle and closed their eyes. Then the two heard crows talking to them and giving directions on where the enemy was. “Squawk! The demon's neck is the engine cart. You must destroy it to save the passengers.” The crow said. “Water breathing 12th form, dual dragon tsunami.” The twins unleashed at the head cart revealing the neck bone of the demon.

Meanwhile Kanao Genya and Zenistu were guarding the front carts. “Flower breathing 1st form, blooming rose thorns” (This move is a long range attack that shoots out breath thorns from the sword and targets demon flesh at its weakest spot.) “Thunder breathing 4th form, distant thunder.”Zenistu unleashed at the remaining demons.

Back at the engine Inosuke and Nezuko have been fighting since midnight (5.5 hours) and had been completely exhausted of their strength.
Their work had revealed the neck bone for Tanjiro to slice off.

“Sun breathing second form, clear blue sky” The exhausted tanjiro unleashed on the neck causing it to break. Then the train derailed and Tanjiro passed out while being launched in the air until Nezuko grabbed him while falling.
“Water breathing eighth form, waterfall basin.” Nezuko unleashed, creating a water blast that blocked the fall.
Tanjiro has noticed that he has been gradually showing a great increase of strength even surpassing Nezuko’s skill just by a small touch which made her a bit upset she wasn’t the alpha twin.

As the twins woke up they saw Inosuke and Kanao rescuing the passengers with Rengoku tending to the twins' broken ankles (caused by the fall).

Everything seemed perfect, the passengers were safe and nobody died. Everything went perfect …….. Until it didn’t.

Rengoku vs Akaza

The air became dense as dust surrounded the train due to an explosion. When the dust went down a demon with multiple tattoos emerged. When the demon went closer to the train Rengoku could see the upper 3 engraved on its eyes. “Tell me hashira, why aren’t you afraid? You do realize that I’m an upper moon so why aren’t you fleeing?... Not going to answer? Very well, you may call me Akaza and I’m here to make you an offer. Tell me what your name is?” Akaza asked Rengoku. “My name is Kyojuro Rengoku of the Rengoku clan, my family is a long line of flame Hashira since the days of the first breather.” As Akaza heard Kyojuro’s past he started to laugh.

“I’ve never killed a flame hashira before, so I’m going to say my offer. Become a demon and I’ll spare your life.” Akaza said. Rengoku Immediately refused and began attacking Akaza. The two beasts unleashed attack after attack for hours which took a tool on the flame hashira when Akaza landed a face hit.

Meanwhile the hashira have cornered Muzan. “Hmm, it seems this experiment had some success after all, hahahahah! Well done Akaza” Muzan laughed as Nakime rings teleports the demon king into the infinity castle. “Damn it” Sanemi yelled, “He dre us away from Kyojuro and the train. We need to go back and see if anyone survived”.

As the hashira ran back to the tracks Rengoku and Akaza were exchanging blow after blow. “Flame breathing 7th form, crimson hydra, (This form summons a hydra creation that unleashes that disintegrates anything in its path, for example this attack is equivalent to a tailed beast bomb{reference to naruto fans}). As the blast knocked Akaza into the woods he stopped toying around and unleashed his full strength.
“Destructive death,winter solstice.” Akaza unleashed a massive shock wave that destroyed the forest and caused a massive beam of red light to shoot up into the sky.

The other slayer’s watched in shock as they knew that they had no chance of matching either of the skills of Rengoku or Akaza. When Akaza finally emerged from the forest his regeneration was slowed by the last attack.
“I-have to admit Kyojuro- your- the toughest opponent I’ve- ever faced.” Akaza panted.

“Now you have to become a demon so we can fight for all eternity, just imagine our impressive skills will keep on getting stronger after constantly brawling and demon blood will regenerate any wounds, we could even share our blood like the upper 6 to be even stronger and evently we’ll become upper 1, hahahahahaha!” Akaza laughed with insanity.

As the demon was weak Rengoku could feel his insides boil and his heartbeat go so fast he felt like it would explode. “Flame breathing 8th form, blazing sunrise” Rengoku unleashed a fall of fire to prevent Akaza from running away. (This form creates a fire wall that stays up until the caster dies or removes it). For hours the two kept fighting until Rengoku’s eye was punched out and sunrise was close.
As Tanjiro watched he felt a sense of dread. (That’s the power of an upper moon? We’d barely been able to defeat the lower 1. Are all of the other upper moons like this?) Tanjiro thought.

Akaza prepared to deliver a fatal attack until he saw a red mark in the shape of a sun form around Rengoku’s eyes. (That wasn’t there before. Is that the demon slayer mark? Lord Muzan said that it disappeared after it was seen as too risky to use, after many mark users died of sickness.) “Set your heart ablaze! Flame breathing 9th form, Rengoku dash.” Kyojuro dashed at Akaza as the demon let out all it’s remaining strength causing the sky to turn red. A tornado of fire surrounded the two creating a massive dust storm.

Conclusion

Sunlight began to spread as the dust cleared revealing Kyojuro’s chest imploded by Akaza’s fist. (The sun has risen! This was his plan to keep me fighting until the sun finished me! I-I can’t move. My arm’s stuck inside of him and I can’t regenerate because that damn sun is destroying lord Muzan’s cells.) Akaza thought as terror filled his eyes while the sun burned him away.

“You think you're so smart, Kyojuro! I know this wound has destroyed vital organs. You die as well and after all that work to kill me you still lost!”Akaza screamed as his body began to disintegrate.

“Your wrong bastard!” Tanjiro screamed at the dying demon. “Because of him every passenger in that train survived and thanks to him the demon slayers have killed an upper moon for the first time in over a century! Kyojuro Rengoku is the true victor!” Tanjiro yelled with tears rolling down his eyes as the pain of his family’s death finally came out after years of suppressing his emotions.

As Akaza began to fade away he saw Rengoku smile and thought, (Kyojuro… if their is such a thing as reincarnation I pray that we are not enemies. I hope in the next life to be your friend.) Akaza thought as he died.

As Tanjiro began wailing Rengoku said a few things before he died.

“Don’t cry over me, remember that we have made a massive step to defeating the demon king. Set your heart a blaze young Kamado. I know that one day you will make a fine hashira”. As Kyojuro entered the afterlife he was greeted by his mother and together they went to the next world.

Muzan’s reaction

In the infinity castle Muzan began to brutally unleash his range on the weaker demons housed in its walls. “200 years since an upper rank has been killed and now the mark has returned and is spreading, Kagaku you brat!Call the upper moons now!” Muzan ordered the biwa demon.

As the demons appeared Doma learned what happened.

“So Akaza is truely gone. Shame” Doma said.

Muzan shock the castle has he shoted. “YOU ALL HAVE DIRECT ORDERS TO KILL THE KAMADO SIBILINGS AS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT PRIORITY!” Muzan yelled.

Aftermath

When the hashira got back to the train they saw Rengoku dead and the medical members carrying away a wailing Tanjiro.

“It seems this was all a damn trap.” Giyu said as he went to comfort Tanjiro.

(RENGOKU) Tanjiro thought as he passed out.

Butterfly mansion

While the team was recovering from the Mugan train Nezuko has been learning about the demon slayer’s history and how to develop cures to demon venom from Shinobu.

With two months off Tanjiro and Nezukoa are able to master sun breathing and became stronger with the memory of Rengoku. Meanwhile the hashira go to the masters mansion to discuss the mark's awakening.

“For the first time in hundreds of years the mark has fully awakened. We can expect for the mark to awaken from all of us hashira. So we must train to maintain the marks.” Gyomei said to the master and other hashira’s. “I’m sorry to do this but I can’t help you all with manifesting the marks. I’ve got word from my clan that an upper ranked demon was seen in the entertainment district and they’ve called me to deal with the development.” Tengen told the master while bowing.

“I understand Tengen.” The master said as the shinobi left the room. “The conditions to awaken the mark either required a close to death situation or heating your insides to a fever and getting your heart rate to 200 beats.” Shinobu explained the science of the mark.

“We’re missing a hashira.” Sanemi pointed out Mitsuri’s disappearance. “Kyojuro’s death hit her pretty hard. He was like an older brother to her.”Obanai said in his girlfriend’s defense.

“Hm, probably to get in bed with her.” Muichiro said with a grin after being quiet for the entire meeting.
(I swear I’m going to kill this kid.) Obanai thought while controlling his anger due to the master’s presence.

“Back to topic, seeing as that an upper moon has died and that the mark has reawakened, Muzan would most likely be more cautious and not go out in public as much as he used to which will reduce the number of new demons. We should use this to our advantage to train the other demon slayers to find a replacement for Rengoku’s position.” Giyu exclaimed. The master then looked at Muichiro. “Muichirio I request that you help train the kamado children. I believe your shared lineage of the first breathers will help both you and them unlock the mark faster.” The master said. The mist hashira bowed and left.

“Before we end this meeting I wish to share knowledge with the investigation into the Eternal Paradise cult.” Shinobu requests the master. “You may proceed.” The master said.
“This cult has a total of 250 members serving under the upper moon 2, Doma. From my previous encounter with him I can tell that he uses an ice demon blood art that is used as a sharp weapon by making ice. His followers are infused with his blood and raid villages to consume human blood in a hive mind that leads back to Doma.” Shinobu told everyone. As the meeting ended a crow from the butterfly mansion came with an emergency message to shinobu. “Squawk! Danger! Haganezuka is on a rampage!”The crow said.

At the butterfly mansion the swordsmith of the demon slayers learned about the group breaking his swords and went on a rage spree. “I’M SORRY HAGANEZUKA!” Tanjiro shouted while running for his life. Then Aoi came out with rice dumplings which stopped the swordsmith’s rampage. After an hour the new swords were delivered for the team. “I went to Rengoku’s home this morning to give my condolences to his family.” Tanjiro said.

“I heard, did you have to headbutt a former hashira?” Nezuko asked. Then the two heard screams from the yard. “LET GO OF ME YOU TINY BRATS!” Tengen shouted at the Kocho sisters as they swarmed him.
(Wait who’s in danger? the girls or him?) Tanjiro thought. Then Tengen jumped to the roof while most held on.
“Let go of them.” Tanjiro demanded the hashira.
“Listen kid, I need them for a mission now, get lost.”
“You can’t take them, most of the Kocho sisters are too young to join the corps.” Nezuko stated.

(Now that I think of it, these girls won’t be resourceful enough for the mission. They’re far too small for purchase.) Tengen thought as he threw them into the air. “AAAAHHHH!.” The young girls screamed! Then Zenistu dashed out and saved the sisters.

“Still this blue haired girl is old enough.” Tengen said about Aoi.
“Don’t we’ll take her place in the mission.” Zenistu said with Inosuke, Tanjiro and Nezuko backing him up.

“Well, it looks like I got a team.” The sound hashira said.

Entertainment district

“Welcome to the entertainment district of Tokyo where people come to gain their manhood and young girls go to raise their status in society by explicit means.” Tengen said while explaining the other quarks of this place which scared Nezuko.

(What was I thinking when I agreed to join this mission? I knew this would happen eventually but not like this. Why couldn’t it be the wild where a demon is hiding. Will I be forced to mother a bastard child to find a demon? If that happens I’ll be forced to leave the demon slayers and all my training would go to waste. Tanjiro I would have to leave all on your own to fight Muzan and I can’t back out orelse a lot of people will die. Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!) Nezuko stressfully thought as she began to faint..

“Ah Nezuko are you alright!” Tanjiro yelled as Nezuko passed out from a panic attack.

The next day Tengen assured Nezuko that she wouldn’t be touched due to her young age. “The legal age of intercorse starts at 16 so your jobs will consist of sanitation.” Tengen told Nezuko who seemed relieved. (Thank goodness. I wasn’t prepared to go down that path.) Nezuko thought to herself.

“Anyway the four of you will be searching for the spy’s that went missing who were investigating demon activity before you and find the identity of the demon. You should also know know that they come from my ninja clan so be prepared to know this. 1: You must show them this symbol to earn their trust. 2nd, it’s shinobi tradition to have 3 wives like I do”. Tengen explained.
Immediately Zenistu sparked with jealousy after hearing Tengen had three wives.

“3, Three wives, how the hell did you manage that? You must have kidnapped them. Was that what you were planning to do to the Kocho sisters?” Zenistu screamed endlessly, bringing those around them to their breaking point.

Then Nezuko, annoyed to the boiling point of Zenistu’s rant hit him hard in the groin causing a surge of pain to go through the blonde’s body, which caused a cracking noise to be heard.

“Could you not be a total arrogant piece of crap for 5 minutes!” Nezuko shouted. “Besides, Tengen grew up in a ninja family so the survival rate of children was very low. Most likely the clan arranged his marriages to ensure a greater mass of children were born to increase the chances of creating more fighters.” Nezuko told the curled up Zenistu.
“Anyways you three will be sent to the houses where demon activity is most seen and Nezuko, seeing that you're the only girl on the team I’ll put you on the market and accept the biggest offer. Social status may help us learn the demon’s identity.” Tengen told the team.

As the group got ready for tomorrow's beginning of the investigation, Nezuko looked into a mirror trying to force herself to smile as memories of her late mother filled her mind with sadness. (Don’t cry, Don’t cry, Don’t cry.) Nezuko thought to herself depressed.

MARKET

“200,000 yen do I hear anyone else?” Tengen shouted to the market buyers looking to purchase Nezuko. Nezuko stood in shock as she was flustered of what people were willing to pay for her. (Everyone always said that I was beautiful. I always believed they were just being kind, now I see why mother wanted me to see Tokyo when I became 16.) Nezuko thought as someone offered 350,00 yen for her then 500,000 then finally 800,000 yen. “800,000 yen going once going twice sold.” As Nezuko looked upon the noble family she was being sold too, they looked at her. “How old are you dear?” The lady asked. “15, turning 16 in autumn my lady.” Nezuko said while bowing. As the noble family took her, Tengen disappeared into the crowd.

When she arrived at the estate she was greeted by the master of the house. He had rainbow colored eyes and red robes with a young face. “Ah you must be the newest addition, don't worry my followers already told me everything about you. I promise not to put you in the used ones until you are of proper age. Anyway we have so much to discuss.” The lord said.
(Something about his voice seems settling and disturbing at the same time I think I can trust him.) Nezuko thought as the room got cold.
“It’s really good to see you with us…. NEZUKO KAMADO.” The lord said as ice covered Nezuko’s body.

(What’s going on? I can't move my legs.) Nezuko thought as the lord revealed his eyes reading {Upper 2}.
“You demon slayers have really caused LORD MUZAN so much anger after you killed Akaza, but I’m sure that you and your brother's head will be enough to please him.” Doma told the slayer. Without thinking Nezuko used her last free arm to activate the code blue flare into the sky (This flare alerts the presence of an upper rank demon2. A black flare alerts the presence of upper 1, green alerts of upper 6, yellow alerts of upper 5, purple alerts of upper 4 and red alerts of upper 3.)

“Calling for help I see. Unfortunately you missed one small thing, little girl. I’m not the only upper moon in this city.” Doma said while only Nezukos head remained free.
“A hashira is already in the city, and my friends are already tracking the other upper moon. We won’t stop until you demon scum are erased from this world!” Nezuko shouted.

5 days later-
Meanwhile Inosuke sensed something moving through the walls in the house he was living in and began to chase the demon into a cave system below the house.
“HAHAHAHA! You demons think you can hide from me because you're in a small hole. Well I can dislocate all my joints so as long as my head fits I can cut you all to pieces!” Inosuke said as he entered the cave while the house staff passed out after seeing a man with a boar's head ram out of the ceiling.

At Doma’s residence 5 hashira’s (Wind, Insect, Water, Serpent, and Mist) gathered outside as they planned how to defeat Doma with assistance from Kanao and Zenistu, who heard Nezuko was taken by Doma. Shiobu reveals her plan to take down the demon.

“If I can inject poison into his eyes he’ll be blinded for about 5 minutes per stab. Sanemi when the mist forms you and Giyu and Obania will slice off the demon's neck. Zenistu, you and Kanao will find Nezuko and deal with Doma’s followers. If you two save her, meet back in the mansion's hall to help finish off Doma.” Shinobu instructed.
Zenist dashed up the mansion to find Nezuko guarded by demons. As Kanao fought the larger numbers Zenistu dashed to free Nezuko.

“Thanks Zenistu.” Nezuko said as she broke the ice and grabbed her sword.
Meanwhile Doma appeared in front of the Hasira as they finished off the rest of his followers. “Wind breathing 7th form, Gale, sudden gusts.” Sanemi unleashed on the remaining demons.

“Ah so you actually came. For a moment I thought that sun breather was lying. Oh well at least I get to have some fun.” Doma said menacingly.

“So you don’t recognize me do you.” Sanemi said. “HMM tell me did you travel with a flower hashira say 3 to 4 years ago. Unfortunately I couldn’t consume her due to the sun rising.” Doma said with a deranged grin. Sanemi and Shinobu began to grip their swords so hard that their swords turned red. The two began to deliver multiple slashes to Doma’s face while the other hashira held off the demon’s attacks. “You fools don’t you know that only cutting my neck will do any-.” Doma is interrupted as he feels his sight going away and mist growing through the room.
“I injected your bloodlusted eyes with my poison. It causes damage to the nerves and muscle control.” Shinobu said with hatred in her eyes and voice as she remembered what Doma did to her sisters. “I see. I guess I’ll have to go all out now.” Doma said as he drew his blades.

Meanwhile Tanjiro Gave his farewells to the servants of his house as he went to confront the demon he found nearby (Daki the upper moon 6.) “Tell me what do you take human life for? Is it just a joke for you?” The enraged Tanjiro said after watching the demon slaughter a family. The battle began with Tanjiro using water breathing but had no effect. Then he felt his body being hit from all around and he started to bleed from his eyes. “Sun breathing 4th form, Burning bones summer sun.” Tanjiro unleashed blocking the multiple demon attacks. As the battle raged on the demon unleashed its fury on the civilians in the district causing multiple casualties.

When Tanjiro ran to protect them he felt the effects of overuse breathing kick in.

As the demon went to finish off the exhausted Tanjiro, Nezuko jumped in and attacked.
“Sun breathing, 8th form, sunflower thrust.” Nezuko unleashed multiple strikes at the demon. As the demon looked upon Nezuko it could see 2 moon shaped marks form on Nezuko’s face.

(That mark seems familiar. Is this the 2nd stage of the demon slayer mark.) Tanjiro though as he saw crescent marks form across Nezuko’s body.

Sanemii became the next wind hashira at 16 when he defeated the lower moon1. His first hashira meeting was when he first met Kanae. She always looked out for him whenever he got injured in battle.

At the butterfly mansion Kanae invited Sanemi to show him something.
“As you know as head of the Kocho clan I have the responsibility to look after the others and produce new heirs and I need help.” Kanae said with a lustrous look in her eyes.
Sanemi blushed and lost all feeling of response.
“OH I see well-.” Before he could finish Kanae revealed a small girl.

“Meet Kanao, I found her in an alleyway without anyone to help her so I adopted her as my new sister, isn’t she the cutest.” Kanae said with Sanemi giving a long silence.
“Anyway tonight I have to leave on a mission. I hope to see you soon Sanemi.” Kanae said as Sanemi waved her goodbye……… It would be the last time they spoke together.

NEZUKO VS DAKI

“How many god damn people did you kill to obtain that power!” Nezuko yelled with memories of her late family flashing back to her filling the marked girl with rage. Daki sensed a strange memory as flashes of Yorichi came to the demon as the marked Nezuko began a flurry of attacks with anger filling her.
“Water breathing, 1st form, 2nd form, 3rd form, 4th form, 5th form, 6th form, 7th form, 8th form, 9th form,10th form.” Nezuko unleashed, crushing the demon's sub body which Inosuke was fighting. Tanjiro got his strength back and joined nezuko for a dual attack.
“Water breathing 12th form, dual dragon tsunami.” After a minute the demon grabbed Tanjiro which sparked a flame of hatred in Nezuko as she was afraid to lose anyone else.
“You damn bastards won’t take anyone else from me!” Nezuko shouted as her blade turned red.

“Sun breathing, 1st form, 2nd form, 3rd form, 4th form, 5th form, 6th form, 7th form, 8th form, 9th form, 10th form, 11th form, 12th form.” After the onslaught of strikes Daki’s head was severed. “You think I’m done with you parasites!” Nezuko shouted at the dying demon while punching and kicking apart the remains of the body. “I’LL KILL YOU! I’LL KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU DAMN DEMONS UNTIL THE SUN BURNS OUT OF THE SKY! DO YOU HEAR ME MUZAN!”Nezuko shouted as tears began flowing down her eyes covering her blood stained face.
“SAY SOMETHING BASTARD! I’LL BURN YOU TO $#$&%$#!” As Nezuko screamed, Tanjiro grabbed hold of her when he saw his sister crying.

“It’s over Nezuko. We killed it. You can let it all out now. I know it’s feels hopeless, but we get stronger every day, so don’t ever hold back your emotions because no matter what your brother will be with you every step to victory. I promise you won’t lose anyone else.” Tanjiro said to Nezuko as he started sobbing.

When Nezuko finally calmed down she felt as years of suppressed emotions came out as the two started sobbing uncontrollably as they embraced.
“I’m so sorry, I’m sorry brother.” Nezuko said.
“It seems you beat me to it.” Tengen said to the twins.

Just then Tanjiro smelled a demon emerging. “Tengen, that wasn’t the main body!” Tanjiro shouted as Gyutaro rised and destroyed the district in a flash.

Tengen vs Gyutaro beings

The group looked in horror as a 10 foot tall demon emerged from Daki’s ashes. “You all think your tough, what despicable faces.” The true upper 6 said.
“Everyone behind me,” Tengen ordered. In the blink of an eye everything went dark.
When Tanjiro woke up he saw the city in flames and Nezuko passed out.
“Nezuko! Wake up please wake up.” Tanjiro pleaded to Nezuko as the demon approached him.
“What a failure you are. All your friends are dead,and you're here covered in injuries and poison in you.” The demon said while stabbing Tanjiro with a sickle. As Tanjiro screamed in pain, he felt his body burn from the inside in order to stop the poison and felt his heartbeat as if it was lightning. (Heartbeat at 200 beats per minute, body temp to 103 degrees, must manifest the mark.) Tanjiro thought as he remembered his father’s letter about the secrets of the first breathers. With a strong headbutt Tanjiro was able to gain enough momentum and his scar turned into a bright fire shaped mark giving him the power of the first breathers.

THE MARK AWAKENS

As Tengen emerged from the rubble to assist Tanjiro had been igniting blow after blow to the demon as if his strength and speed increased ten fold.

“You got some moves kid but that thing has too many blades to solo.” Tengen said as he took the vanguard.
Meanwhile Inosuke and Zenistu wake Nezuko after unlocking their marks while fighting the upper 6’s sub body.
(Zenistu’s mark is blue lightning strikes across his checks.)
(Inosuke’s mark is blue claw marks across his eyes and chest.)
“Wake up underling lord Inosuke needs an army to defeat that monster!” Inosuke shouted as rush the demon.

The battle lasted for hours, with Tengen and upper 6 slashing in sinc. As they caught up, Tanjiro, nezuko, Zenistu, and Inosukes swords hit the demon's neck.
Tengen kept holding the demon in place, costing him fatal injuries. As the squads swords got stuck in the neck they gripped the handles until they bled and they awakened all marks by will and nothing but rage filled their faces until they finally cut the neck.

Tanjiro felt the poison kicking in. Then Tengen threw the group through the sky before the demon exploded.
When Tanjiro woke up he saw ruins as he and Inosuke coughed up blood infected by demon poison.

Nezuko went to Tanjiro and injected him and Inosuke with anti venoms provided by Shinobu.

“Tanjiro you alive?” The exhausted Nezuko asked. “Just about, Zenistu and Inosuke seem to be alive. Did we win?” Tanjiro asked as he had passed out with Nezuko following him.

Meanwhile the biwa demon teleported Domas to his temple where the hashira got a look at the nature surrounding to pinpoint the demon's den.
“Squaw! Upper 6 has fallen, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenistu, and Inosuke are fatally injured. Requesting immediate medical support.” The crow said.

Obania rushed to Tengen’s last position to see the kamado squad passed out and Tengen missing an eye.
“So you managed to kill an upper moon, Uzi.” Obania asked.

“I hate to admit it but it was all them. All of them unlocked the mark.” Tengen said grinning.

“So I guess all the Hashira will now be gaining marks”. Obania said.

As the medics arrived they looked in shock as they saw the ruins.

REAWAKEN

Nezuko felt like she had been out for years. When woke up she found herself in the butterfly mansion. (What happened.) Nezuko thought as the door opened.

“AAAHH! How long have you been awake?” A medic said when he saw Nezuko awake.

AN hour later Nezuko was greeted by the triplets and Aoi thanking her for taking their place.

“When we heard you got captured by the upper 2 we thought we’d lose you.” The sisters said to nezuko.

“Where’s Tanjiro?” Nezuko asked. “He, Zenistu, and Inosuke received serious injuries. You, Tanjiro, and Zenistu survived due to the anti-venom but Mr Inosukes heart stopped last night.” Aoi said while crying and hugging Nezuko.

Nezuko found Tanjiro and Zenistu in the next station waking up.

“NEZUKO!” Tanjro shouted as he rushed out of the hospital to hug Nezuko while Aoi ran behind him. “Slow down moron, your injuries haven’t fully healed yet.” Aoi told Tanjiro.
Soon Zenistu heard that Nezuko waked up and rushed to her. “NNNEEEZZZUUUUKKKOOO!” Zenistu shouted so loud that the staff rushed to stop him {In vain}. Zenistu jumped onto Nezuko as she immediately started to headbut the blonde. When Zenistu passed out from head trauma Inosuke jumped from the window and crushed the blonde.

“HAHAHA! You all thought I was dead. Well Lord Inosuke can stop his heartbeat by pure beast will.” Inosuke proclaimed with every highly doubting him.

A few hours later Shinobu appeared and told the trio that they defeated the upper moon 6.

“HAHAHA! I knew it. Nobody can stop the king of the mountains!” Inosuke shouted at Aoi soon after slapping him. “The master has requested the four of you to go to his mansion.” Shinobu said with Kanao entering to hug Tanjiro.
(Smooth moves Tanjiro, Zenistu is probably filled with jealousy right now.) Nezuko smirked as she looked to see Zenistu’s face.

“Zenistu, you know if Tengen takes you as his student, you could have 3 wives.” Nezuko jokingly told the simp. “Y-You really think I could do it?” Zenistu asked with a blush on his face. “Yep, so I guess you're choosing the three wives over me.” Nezuko said while making fun of the blonde.

“Wait Nezuko it’s not uhuhuhu agahahah!” Zenistu screamed as Nezuko laughed to herself.

That noon the Kamado squad arrived at the master’s mansion where they went to the master’s chambers {The master has fallen ill and can’t lead the demon slayers anymore so his wife took over}. “Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenistu, Inosuke. Thank you for coming. As you know the mark is beginning to reawaken and the four of you have helped most of the hashira unlock their marks. As -cough-cough- my last command as the leader of the demon slayer corps. I hear by, pronounce you these titles. Zenistu the thunder hashira, Inosuke the beast hashira, Nezuko the sun hashira, and Tanjiro the flame hashira blessed by the Rengoku clan. The other hashira have been informed of my decision and will help train you all to reach their level. Good-cough- luck.” The master said frailty as the squad bowed in thanks.

When they went to the hashira headquarters Inosuke jumped in excitement. “Look out hashira, cause lord Inosuke goona best you all!” Inosuke shouted at Zenistu trying to not give a bad first impression.

“Welcome to the hashira headquarters. As of today the four of you will spend the next 7 months training under us to improve your skills. Recently Muzan has reduced his activity due to 2 upper moons dying which gives us a chance to get stronger.” Giyu said.

“The training will be harder with every instructor after the other. You’ll first train under Tengen with stamina training, then the mist hashira for quick movement training, 3rd will be Misturi with flexibility training, 4th will be shinobu with defensive training, 5th will be the serpent hashira with sword skill training, 6th will be durability training with Sanemi, 7thy will be muscle reinforcement training with the stone hashira, and finally dueling training with me.” Giyu said to the squad. As they were escorted to their new housing Tanjiro’s crow flew to him with a package.

“Squawk! Message from Rengoku clan to Tanjiro. Rengoku symbol to be engraved on Tanjiro’s sword.” The bird said as it gave him a letter from the former flame hashira.

THE LETTER

“Tanjiro Kamado, I apologize for our first encounter. Ever since I was removed from the corps after an injury left me unfit for service. I’ve been a failure of a man, husband and father. I drank myself so deep in liquor that It look me a month to learn that my wife and son have died. Rengoku spoke highly of you so as whatever act of retribution for my failures I’m giving you my family’s position of flame hashira and entrust the flame hashira journal and all the flame breathing forms to you. I hope you use this to improve your skills and bring peace to this world.

TRAINING BEGINS

When the squad's new swords arrived the swordsmith had gotten larger in muscle and was placing the swords carefully on the beds. “It took me 3 months to forge a sword worthy of a sun breather. I even turned them red to give them more power with my own blistered hand’s blood. So if you dare break them, I’LL TEAR YOU ORGANS OUT, FEED YOU TO WOLFS, AND BURN WHATEVER’S LEFT OF YOU IN THE DARKEST PIT OF HELL!” The swordsmith threatened while swinging tanjiro through the air.
“HOW OLD ARE YOU AWAY!” The light headed Kamado asked. “I’M 37.”

The next day, Kamado squad was sent to Uzi meadows where the Sound hashira sent them to 200 laps up and down the massive mountain the hashira HQ was located on my morning and 500 by the afternoon. When they finished the laps Tengen said that they would be doing this routine for every day for the month. The exhausted squad look in dismay as they had already been mentally and physically exhausted to the bone by today’s training.

Zenistu:( WHAT! THE SAME ROUTINE FOR A MONTH WE BARELY MANAGED TO SURVIVE TODAY. IF THIS IS THE EASIEST WHAT WILL THE OTHER TRAINERS BE LIKE!)
Inosuke:(HAHAHA! BRING IT ON GOD OF FESTIVALS, LORD INOSUKE CAN TAKE ANYTHING YOU THROUGH AT HIM!)
Nezuko:(I heard that Kanao was assigned as the new flower hashira. Hopefully with her presence we can survive this ordeal.)
Tanjiro:( I now understand why the hashira are the strongest in the corps.)

MIST TRAINER

Kanao arrived at the training site the next day and joined the squad as they passed Tengen’s training by month’s end. They were then sent to the mist hashira for speed training where they worked on the speed of their sword movements.

HASHIRA TRAINING

A month has passed since the five newly appointed hashira were sent to HQ where they meet the other hashira. As time went by the squad’s speed of swordsmanship increased drastically. “You passed my trials, good luck with Mitsuri.” The mist hashira said to the squad after a month training with him.

“I feel like this training is really paying off. I can feel my arms getting stronger with every swing I take.” Tanjiro told the group. “You should probably know that Mitsuri will be … a handful.” Nezuko said as she prepared for the next hashira.

Next day the Kamado squad, (Tanjiro, Nezuko, Kanao, Inosuke, Zenistu) were greeted by Mitsuri. “Welcome everyone. Today we start the flexibility training. I’ll be stretching your body to new horizons to improve your battle reflexes.” Mitsuri said as the squad immediately was placed down and their bodies were stretched to the point of breaking.

Kanao: (So this is what Nezuko warned us about and to imagine she trained with her before.)
Inosuke: (I know my body could move with dislocated joints
Tanjiro:(I feel like my body’s going to fall apart.)
Nezuko:(Come on Nezuko you did this a hundred times with her already. You can take another month.)
Zenistu:(M-M-More please my lady.)

After stretching their body’s beyond capability the squad was sent to Shinobu where they worked on counter attacks which Kanao helped with due to her past experience. Then they went to Obania, then Sanemi, then stone hashira, then Giyu for dueling. After barely surviving the hashira training the squad was now Hashira level power and were sent on more dangerous missions. Tanjiro alone has killed 1000 demons.

By the time everyone recognized them as hashira the Zenistu was sent on his own missions as well as Inosuke and Kanao. The new master agreed that Nezuko and Tanjiro should remain together on missions due to their skills being better in a tag team.

“Squawk! Tanjiro and Nezuko are to go to the swordsmith village.” A crow said as a wagon went to escort the twins.

When they arrived at the village they were summoned the guard the village due to recent disappearances of swordsmith’s rumored to happen due to demons.

(So an upper moon has been spotted. Just when I was recovering from this poison.) Nezuko thought as she went to the hot springs to relax. In her last fight Nezuko was hit by a demon poison that turns your body into a child temporarily. Now she needs to run just to keep up with Tanjiro until the poison wears off.

“Not a word to Zenistu or frankly anyone.” Nezuko told Tanjiro as she went to the hot spring.

Meanwhile Tanjiro found Genya in the forest training with some kind of machine.
“Genya! It’s good to see you again!” Tanjiro shouted. “Could you be quiet for 5 minutes! What the hell are you doing here anyway!” Genya asked the Kamado brother.

“I was appointed as a hashira by the master. There was also a spotting of demon activity near the village.” Tanjiro said.

“Listen Tanjiro you’ve met my brother right.” Genya asked. “Yeah, I headbuted him when he grabbed Nezuko by the neck.” Tanjiro replied.

“When we were kids our mother was turned into a demon and killed our family. Sanemi was forced to kill her and I wasn’t there to protect anyone. I felt useless that day and Sanemi stopped talking to me. Ever since then I’ve devoted my life to hunting demons.” Genya told the young Kamado. Tanjiro started to weep as grabbed Genya’s shoulder.

“I know how you feel. While me and my sister were selling charcoal in our village, our family was slaughtered by a demon. For years I’ve felt like a failure for not saving them. Still my friends helped me see the light and gave me the will to keep moving forward. Maybe you need friends like that too.” Tanjiro told Genya who was now smiling.

“Thanks Kamado.” Genya said as he left for the springs. Meanwhile Mitsuri ran over to Nezuko at the hot springs after seeing the shortened slayer.

(AHH! She is so cute!) Mitsuri thought as she hugged the small Nezuko.

3 days later Nezuko grew back to normal size and Murichrio joined the twins in guard duty.

“Have any of you seen the clan leader?” The hashira asked. Before anyone could respond Tanjiro smelled the scent of 2 powerful demons.

“Nezuko get down!” Tanjiro shouted as he decapitated the upper 4. “Tanjiro, save the swordsmith.” I’ll find the other demon.” Murichrio ordered as he ran out of the mansion.
As he left the upper 4 split into multiple different bodies and began to attack. The swordsmith sent out a yellow and purple flare to signal the nearby hashira’s.

Meanwhile Mitsuri was assisting in killing the weaker demons swarming the village while Murichrio fought the upper 5 demon, with his mark (Same as the anime).

As Tanjiro and nezuko fought the clones Genya appeared with a giant ax and a shotgun and began to fight the demon clones.

As the fight raged on, The clones fused into one powerful body in order to win.

(The fight goes the same in the anime with Mitsuri giving support while the Kamado squad kills the main body. Nezuko and Tanjiro remember Zenistu talking about thunder breathing and are able to use the first form. I couldn’t think of anything to change. Sorry. Now back to the story.)

As Tanjiro and Nezuko were carried out of the swordsmith village the villagers cheered as they left, showing their thanks. As they went to heal in the butterfly mansion Tanjiro reflected on how strong he has gotten in the past 6 months.

“Tanjiro, remember when we talked on the Mugan train?” Nezuko asked. Tanjiro nodded and asked what was on her mind.

“I remember back then I felt weak compared to others and felt that my hard work was for nothing. But after this encounter with demons I actually feel that everything we’ve done has actually impacted this world for the better. We unlocked the mark allowing others to use it. We saved all the passengers on the Mugan train, We have killed thousands of demons, and we killed two upper moons. For the first time in years I feel like we can actually win against Muzan.” Nezuko said with a smile on her face.
Tanjiro smiled back. “Tanjiro I spoke to Shinobu. She told me more about the mark’s history and I learned something you should know………………… Everyone who unlocked the mark died of sickness caused by the mark's overuse of cell growth. We’ll be dead by 28. I’m sorry Tanjiro.” Nezuko said as she started to sob. Tanjiro hug to comfort her.

“It’s alright Nezuko. I heard about it from Giyu and he told me that someone can remove the mark's side effects by absorbing the others mark at the cost of a soul, so when we reach near 28 I'll absorb your and the others marks so that you can live to old ages.” Tanjiro said as Nezuko began squeezing him.

“Tanjiro don’t think about that until Muzan is defeated, okay!” Nezuko pleaded.

“Of course Nezuko, I promise.” Tanjiro told Nezuko as they fell asleep after sustaining multiple injuries from their fight.

PAST HASHIRA
1907

The hashira pillars in 1907, consisted of 8 hashira.

Tanjuro Kamado, the sun hashira, age 27, has been hashira for 10 years, Tanjiro and Nezuko’s father.

Gyomei, age 14, the stone hashira, just became a hashira.

Shozen Kocho, the water hashira, age 37, has been a hashira for 21 years.

Shinjuro Rengoku, flame hashira, age 28, has been a hashira for 12 years.

Haruto Unagi, thunder hashira, age 36, has been a hashira for 18 years.

Kaito Kumeno, wind hashira, age 64, has been a hashira for 47 years.

Daichi Ito, mist hashira, age 68. Has been a hashira for 52 years.

Aina Kocho, flower hashira, age 35, has been the flower hashira for 19 years.

They’re all descendents of the major samurai clans that founded the demon slayers. The Kocho clan invented water and flower breathing, they can access the vermilion eyes which grants the user to determine a demon blood art and counter it. They can also turn invisible for short periods of time.

The Rengoku clan has a large reserve of physical strength that matches that of an upper moon.

The Kumeno clan were masters of wind breathing and had unnatural durability. For example, only members of the 12 kikisake can hurt them.

The Ito clan were the creators of demon slayer swords and mostly focused on blacksmithing. Mist breathing was the most common position for hashira’s of non noble blood.

The Unagi clan mastered thunder breathing, they could faze through attacks by overspeeding their molecular structure.

The monks in the wisteria mountains can harness nature energy which increases the energy in their bodies by 100.

The Kamado clan were the only people who could use sun breathing but Tanjuro’s wife and children lived in the isolated northern mountains to protect them from demon attacks. The rest of the clan lived in the port towns loyal to the slayers.

Many towns in Japan served under these samurai clans making those area’s corps bases.

Gyomei meet the other hashira after being selected by his elders to be the next stone hashira.

The major samurai clans decide who should represent them as a hashira by holding a vote among the clan on who they think is best suited. Votes can last up to 3 years at max and 2 weeks at minimum. It is possible to have a hashira of the 5 primary forms that's a non noble member such as Urokodaki, but it is very rare.

That night Gyomei is approached by Tanjuro Kamado.

“Lord Kamado.” Gyomei bowed after sensing the sun hashira approach.

“You're a hashira now Gyomei, there’s no need for you to feel like an apprentice.” Kamado said with a soft voice.

“Gyomei, it’s time you should know something about the first breathers. The corps got their power from the blue spider lily, a herb flower infused with the blood of the gods which is brought upon our realm whenever they deem it necessary. 5 years ago I received a vision from the first breathers who said that the blue spider lily will grow in a northern mountain and that my children will rid the land of demons. I feed the herb flower of the gods to my pregnant wife who gave birth to two twins with a powerful aura. When they come of age, I will bring them to Hq to be trained in sun breathing. For now I plan to bring them to the northern mountains to keep them out of Muzan’s view.” Tanjuro explained to the stone hashira.

“When they arrive, can I count on you to guide them to their true potential?” Kamado asked, with Gyomei immediately agreeing. That was 13 years ago. Now as Gyomei meets the Kamado twins for the first time, memories of the past fill his mind as he smiles.

Early 1915

Yusuke Kocho was the first water hashira who created the 10 original forms of water breathing and taught it to his children and servants. 100 years later the first flower hashira Yuri Kocho created the 7 original forms of flower breathing. The Kocho’s blood gives them the greatest natural talent for flower and water breathing. Before Urokodaki all water hashira’s came from the legendary Kocho clan

Shozen Kocho was the last water hashira before Giyu Tomika. 5 years ago Giyu, Kanae and Sanemi were assigned to escort Shozen on a mission to hunt down a large hive of bee demons. After succeeding, Doma attacked the group forcing them to draw straws for a sacrifice.

“I stall the freak while you report to HQ lord Kocho!” Sanemi said abruptly as he didn’t want any of his friends to die.

“Your loyalty to the corps is admirable, Sanemi, but you still are too young to die.” The water hashira said as he cut his arm to cause bleeding.

“This demon is attracted to the Kocho bloodline and has made it’s personal goal to kill as many Kocho’s as possible even if it loses in the process. Therefore I will stay behind to give you all the opportunity to survive, besides my tuberculosis will just be a burden for the corps if I can’t activate the proper breathing styles.” Shozen told everyone as he coughed up blood.

“Lord Kocho please don’t do this! Think about your children, they need you as a sensi of breathing styles and we need a water hashira!” Giyu pleaded with Kocho in hopes of convincing him to change his mind as Giyu cried in front of everyone.

“Tomioka, I will send a message by crow to make you my successor as the next water hashira. I saw you create a new form of water breathing on your own, even without the Kocho blood you have signs of becoming the strongest water hashira. Kanae stay strong for your sisters, they will need you more than ever after tonight. Good luck everyone.” Shozen said as he dashed towards Doma while everyone escaped.

“Ahh. What joy, Lord Muzan has truly blessed me to confront another Kocho, and a water hashira of all, this will surely be very entertaining.” Doma said as he licked his blades and began forming ice projectiles.

“Water breathing 10th form modified, Hydra constant fluiex.” Shozen used 3 swords (Like Zoro) to attack with 3 water dragons. Then the two exchanged blow after blow for 5 hours at which Shozen planned for a final strike.

“Water breathing 2nd form modified, 3 shuriken water wheels barrage.” Shozen threw his swords at Doma causing the demon to take the fight seriously after Shozen broke through the ice armor and damaged Doma’s composure.

“Demon blood art, unknowing icicle frostbite.” This caused the surrounding area to grow hundreds of ice arrows that overwhelmed and killed Shozen.

“You know, you Kocho’s bring me close to death's door every time I fight one of you. Your eyes' ability to see demon blood arts forming and how to counter them has keeped me entertained for centuries. Your wife and 3 sons gave me quite the battle last year and yet you Kocho’s die all the same. Well at least your rare blood will be a good feast.” Doma said to Kocho's corpse as he began to eat.

Late 1914

As Katio returned from a mission a doctor told him that his old age has made him unable to serve as a slayer. Katio accepted the fact that he can’t fight forever even to his displeasement of the fact he summoned Sanemi to his home.

“Lord Kumeno, is there anything you need?” Sanemi said as he bowed to the wind hashira.

“So you're my great grandson’s friend, I see why he talked so highly of you. Your skills and hard work exceed that of my clan and under the rough exterior I sense a soul who deeply cares about others. Boy, soon I must retire, have the wind hashira and I want you to be my successor.” Katio said as Sanemi stood in a frozen shock.

“Lord Kumeno, I am not worthy of such a title, I failed Masachika Kumeno when we killed the lower moon 1,it should have been me that died that day.” Sanemi’s rant was stopped by Kaito as he placed his hand on the boy’s head.

“Your iron will and motivation to save others no matter the cost is why I want you as the next wind hashira.” Kaito said to Sanemi as the boy began to cry.

1919

Daichi Ito sat on a large rock in the swordsmith village as he talked to his student Muichrio. Daichi had been suffering from tuberculosis for the past year which was slowly killing him. He decided his successor after he died.

“Muichrio, many hardships will soon be forced upon you, but you must keep your will strong and fill the void in your heart with others that you can trust. Never forget who you truly are and never let anyone influence negative thoughts, for the pure soul can survive in this cruel world.” Daichi said to Muichrio before he passed on to the afterlife 3 days later.

LADY TAMAYO

At the Hashira headquarters the hashira, (Tengen, Murichrio, Mitsuri, Shinobu, Giyu, Gyomei, Sanemi, Obania, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Kanao, Inosuke, and Zenistu) were planning a raid on Doma’s temple with the help of Tamayo. Gyomei, the captain of the hashira, made the strategy of how to win.

“Alright that's enough, I’m addressing the elephant in the room. Does nobody at all feel off that this info that we're using in a coordinated attack is being given to use by a goddamn demon, hell or the fact we’re working with one!” Sanemi yelled out.

“I can assure you that when Tanjiro and I met her she made no attempt to attack us even when we were knocked out.” Nezuko said in Tamayo’s defense. “How do we know what her true motives are? She could be a damn spy for all we know, we’re the demon slayers and as one I have to decapitate the $#@$ing demon’s head!” Sanemi shouted as he began to leave. Then Tanjiro ran up to the wind hashira.

“Get out of my damn way brat. I don’t know why in hell’s name the master made you a hashira, but you need to know I don’t give a shit of your rank, your still a $#%$# weakling!” Sanemi shouted. “Shut up Sanemi, this kid has made more progress in defeating Muzan in 6 months than what we’ve been able to do in 200 years.” Tengen said in respect to Tanjiro. “Yeah, anyone who insults my underlings will answer to a mountain king, and a festival god.” Inosuke said proudly. “Thanks Imosuke.” Nezuko said with Inosuke getting irritated that Nezuko didn’t know how to pronounce his name.

“All of you get out of my way now!” Sanemi siad while drawing his sword but was stopped by Giyu. “Everyone stop it please.” Mitsuri begged while Inosuke was trying to get Nezuko to say his name right.

“INOSUKE, INOSUKE, INOSUKE, INOSUKE!”
“IMOSUKE, IMOSUKE, IMOSUKE, IMOSUKE!”

As a brawl was about to start Gyomei clapped his hands so loud that the sound barrier broke. This caused everyone to calm down and stop their arguing due to their respect for the stone hashira.

“In 3 days we will attack the demons temple at dawn to ensure that Doma won’t be able to flee. The demon has a desire to consume members of the Kocho clan so Kanao and Shinobu will act as bait while Sanemi, Obania, Inosuke, Zenistu, and Murichrio will trap the demon in the top floor. Tengen and I will deal with the demon's followers. Nezuko and Mitsuri will stay outside the temple in case we need backup if something goes wrong. Giyu and Tanjiro will then search the temple for any captives the demon has and save them if possible, when the two save the civilians they will join up with me and the main group to finish Doma, then when Muzan can no longer sense Doma’s will due to Tamayo’s drugs which will take the longest, Mitsuri and Nezuko will join the main group. Does everyone understand their assignments?” Gyomei asked everyone. The hashira’s nodded as Gyomei nodded back. “Then let operation ice smasher begin.” The stone hashira proudly stated.

3 days later when the sun rose, the hashira’s plan went into motion.

DOMA’s TEMPLE 1ST FLOOR

“Squawk! 800 demons reside in this temple ,400 at each side.” The crow said.
“You go for the left and I’ll go right.” Gyomei told Tengen as the raid began.
Tengen rushed a large demon group by himself while Gyomei found 30 foot tall demons awakening. “Stone breathing, 5th form, arcs of justice.” Gyomei unleashed his mace and ax to crush the heads of the giant demons in his path. More and more demons were crushed in the stone hashira’s rampage.

The temple had 7 floors with hundreds of demons in each one so 2 hashira, (There are currently 13 hashira’s {11 of them unlocked their mark, everyone but Gyomei and Tengen} 2 hashira’s were sent to each floor to kill demons, except for Inosuke who rushed the top floor.)
At the second floor Sanemi and Obania dealt with the hundreds of demons in a tag team. “Wind breathing first form, dust whirlwind cutter.” Sanemi unleashed a tornado of slashes upon the demons, cutting multiple heads off in a second.
“Serpent breathing 5th form, slithering serpent.” Obania used a long rage sword attack that killed demons like a targeting machine.

At the 3rd floor Giyu and Tanjro looked for civilians as the followers attacked.
“Water breathing 13th form, Tsunami current.” (This form was a mix between 11th and 12th form of water breathing.) Giyu’s slash destroyed every demon in the blink of an eye.
(He invented a whole new form of water breathing with my old invention. I feel like I’ll never surpass Giyu.) Tanjiro thought in jealousy.

“Tanjiro, Inosuke has rushed to the top floor, assist him, I can deal with the demons here.” Giyu ordered as tanjiro dashed up the temple.

In the 4th floor, Zenistu and Murichrio immediately killed their demons in a second and then killed the demons guarding the stairs with their quick speed attacks and marks unlocked.

On the 5th floor, Mitsuri and Nezuko were called in for backup. The two marked ones quickly destroyed the demons with them meeting with the main group learning that Kanao and Shinobu have cleared the 6th floor.

“The crows have spotted Doma on the top floor, Inosuke and Tengen have already engaged the enemy. Everyone knows the plan, good luck my hashira.” Gyomei said aas they entered the top floor.

DOMA VS HASHIRA

“Look out Upper moon 2 demon cause the beast hashira is coming through!” Inosuke shouted as he smashed through the ceiling as the other hashira entered the room. “HM, cute.” Doma said as he dodged the grabbed Inosuke boar head and deflected the surprise attack. “Well would you look at what we have here, every hashira before my presence and best of all my own son is here.” Doma said with the hashira’s being confused.
“What do you mean by son?” Nezuko asked. “Well it’s very simple really. Inosuke is my child.” Doma said with a quick darkness in his voice.

The Hashira stood in shock as they couldn’t believe that Inosuke could be a demon.
“HAHAHAHA! YES I KNEW I WAS MORE THAN HUMAN! YOU'RE ALL LOOKING AT A HALF BOAR AND HALF DEMON!” Inosuke shouted in joy believing he was special. “MAYBE I CAN REGENERATE MY LIMBS!” Inosuke thought out loud as he bit his finger. Everyone began to panic at the sight. “Inosuke, what are you thinking!” Tanjiro shouted in fear.

Just then Inosuke’s finger grew back in a second causing the Beast hashira to overjoy. “HAHA! I can regenerate, and best of all the sun won’t burn me to a crisp. Does this mean I can use that demon’s ice magic.” Inosuke said as he attempted to freeze the nearby pot and it worked. “HAHA! It worked, I wonder if I will survive slicing_.” Inosuke was stopped by Zenistu before he cut off his own head.

The hashira’s then heard Doma clapping as he showed them the remains of the master. “AH. he was such a fine feast. It was a pleasure freezing his body and absorbing and best of all the hashira are in my domain!” Doma said as his true form emerged as a giant snow yeti with a disturbing smile. Before anyone could move their feet were frozen to the floor. “Before eating you all, I'd like to tell you about little Inosuke here.” Doma said.

Inosuke’s past

“It was about 20 years ago when a young girl entered my temple she was about 17 at the time. She grew up in poverty and had nowhere to go so she seeked out a being who could grant miracles to save her from her family who wanted to sell ehr into slavery. After disposing of her family the girl was close to my side and as time went by I made her my wife. It was nice having someone rule beside you at least for a while. Eventually we had a child with black and blue hair we named Inosuke. He had my regenerative ability, demon blood art and was resistant from the sun. I plan to absorb the boy when the girl died. Unfortunately she found out who I truly was and threw the boy off a mountain and slit her own throat believing she created the anti christ. It was quite pitiful and sad to see that my new vessel was gone, but now my son has returned and when I consume him I will be able to conquer the sun and overthrow Muzan as the next demon king. So I truly have to thank you slayers. You’ve given me the ultimate prize I've searched centuries for.” Doma laughed with insanity.

The fight begins

Inosuke turned everyone's swords red as he formed ice shields around the hashira.
“Father. Before we end this I have to ask you. If I’m half demon, half human, how the hell did I end up being raised by boars?” Inosuke asked with rage, ingenting the marks of those who already awakened theirs. (Tengen and Gyomei’s marks won’t be unlocked until Infinity castle.) “Maybe it saved you from the fall because I never remember making love to a wild animal!” Doma said sharply as he began attacking.

Inosuke and Doma exchanged blow after blow. The half demon’s regeneration stood him on himself for a while before Doma summoned ice constructs to fight. “You're quite creative with that power, but you don’t have the centuries of battle experience I do.” Doma said as he froze Inosuke to the wall. “DAMN YOU COWARD!” Inosuke shoted.
“Everyone charge.” Shinobu ordered has each Hashira rushed the demon. The battle was hours long as each fighter gave their all in fighting Doma. Doma’s ice breath made it hard to unleash attacks but Nezuko was able to burn the ice with sun breathing. Sanemi and Obania sent the battle attacking the armor to distract Doma so that Tanjiro can cut off the head. Hours past as the sun began to set in the horizon. (Damn it! We spent too much time fighting and now the demon has the advantage!) The exhausted Sanemi thought as Doma grabbed Inosuke.

“Now it's time to enter my new body.” Doma said as he started to open his mouth. Suddenly Doma’s eyeball fell out. “My face is melting. How is that possible? I was able to cellularly destroy that flower girl's poison with ease.” Doma thought out loud as Shinobu started grinning.

“The master planned this years ago. He would fill every drop of his blood with my demon poison until his entire body was one big dose of poison. He planned to die by your hands so that we could send you to hell.” shinobu said as she approached the dying demon.

Just then Doma unleashed one final attack that turned everything into a dust that no one could see through in a chance to escape the slayers.

“Everyone do exactly as I say!” Tengen shouted as he used his heightened hearing to detect Doma’s position.

When the neck location was found every hashira rushed in with their strongest attack in an effort to cut the head off. “Don’t let the master’s sacrifice be in vein” Giyu shouted. Suddenly Murichrio felt an inherited memory come back that gave him a move to severe the neck.

“Moon breathing 4th form, crescent slice.” Murichrio unleashed a strike close to sun breathing, finishing the demon off. As Doma began to evaporate to dust. Inosuke started to celebrate. “HAHAHAHA! We did it. We killed my $#%$#$ father. No demon can match my power now. I-” Inosuke stopped as he fainted from exhaustion with many others following him as a flare to summon the medical team was sent out. (We did it, we actually beat him sister.) Shinobu thought as she and the others passed out from exhaustion.

Recovery

As Nezuko woke up in the butterfly mansion she saw the Kocho sisters hugging each other knowing that Doma was killed. Everyone was glad that none of the hashira’s were killed but still the master died and things wouldn’t be the same without him.

When the next meeting of the hashira’s started, Gyomei congratulated the hashira’s for their efforts.

“Doma’s defeat has sent shockwaves across the world. Muzan will most likely go into hiding until he finds replacements for the upper moons. So we have some breathing space to improve our skills until he strikes again. So good luck my hashira’s.” Gyomei said as everyone bowed.

As everyone left Tanjiro caught up to Kanao.

“Kanao, I was wondering if you would like to uhmm.” Tanjiro thought with his face blushing. “Are you um, asking me out? Kanao asked with her face turning red.

“Well it’s just i turn 16 today which is also when a firework festival will be happening in Tokyo and it would be nice to go with someone to the festival.” Tanjiro explained as Nezuko and the other Kocho sisters watched from a distance giving Tanjiro hand signs for what to do. Kanao smiled as she agreed to go on a date with Tanjiro.
Nezuko was overjoyed to see Tanjiro’s success.

As the sun set, the demon slayers thought about what lay ahead of them and looked forward to the bright future.

DATE OF THE ECLIPSE

When Muzan learned about Doma’s death he had a rampage on his demons, tearing them apart.

“Kokushibo, stay in the infinity castle until the next eclipse in 6 years. On that day we will end this pest once and for all.” Muzan declared as he decided to reduce demon creation to save blood for the final battle in 6 years.

MUICHRIO X NEZUKO

Muichrio goes to a cliff on Hq that is isolated from everyone else, he enjoys watching the stars and the waterfall during the night, it gives him a sense of happiness he thought was gone. As he dozed off into the sky Muichrio her movement in the trees.

(A demon all the way in the south, no wisteria flowers surround the mountain.) Muichrio thought as he drew his sword. As the leaves began to snake something fell down from the tree.

“Oh, Hello Muichrio.” Nezuko said as she jumped up while wiping the leaves of her face. Muichrio thought the rest of the hashira went to the port town to see the firework festival.

“Shouldn’t you be with the others?” Muichrio asked while wondering how long Nezuko was hiding in the wisteria tree.

“Well, I was wondering where you were so I went searching around Hq, then I found a trail that led out to the cliff and saw you looking into the sky. I didn’t know if you were visiting a family grave or were praying so I decided to wait in the tree until you were done with what you were doing. By the way, when did you get here because I lost count of the time I was up there.” Nezuko said as Muichrio looked at her dumbfounded.

(She was up there for 2 hours. Anyone else would get bored and leave.) Muichrio thought as he put down his sword.

“I never liked the loud noises in the town, I can’t describe why but I always feel overwhelmed when in the city or large population areas.” Muichrio said as the two sat down over the edge.

“I always feel like I have nothing important to say at times.” Muichrio said as the fireworks began to light up the sky.

“I know. When I first joined the corps, I thought me and Tanjiro would be able to easily avenge our family. That was until we encountered the lower moon 5. When we saw Giyu killed Rui with ease, I felt that I was weak and worthless, and that nothing I did could make a difference. Then I meet the other hashira, and you all encouraged me to continue to persevere and fight on and after seeing Mr Rengoku defat Akaza and after I unlocked my mark I finally felt that I had a chance to stand by your side.” Nezuko said with Muichrio being dazed off by her eyes.

“I always looked up to you during our time training together, you always kept our spirits up when the swordsmith village was attacked and gave us the time to kill Hantagu. You have a kind heart, even though you don’t show much about yourself to others you want to be happy with others, it’s why I admire you so much and maybe it’s… Um.. I don’t know what to say right now.” Nezuko said as she tried to hide her blush.

The two stood in silence for what felt like eternity. Muichrio was surprised that Nezuko of all people had feelings for him. He always enjoyed her company at the swordsmith village and when they worked together to take out Doma and when they went to investigate the Mugan train.

“Nezuko… I was wondering if well, would you be interested in being together?” Muichrio asked with his face turning red.

“You,.. want to go out with me? Are you sure?” Nezuko asked as she lost her composer.

“Well sure, if you want to.” Muichrio said with Nezuko smiling.

“I'd like to try that. Sure I’d like to go out with you, so um, do you want to join the others or..?” Nezuko stopped and realized something.

“If Zenitsu finds out about this, be prepared for anything, and probably have a sword with you at all times.” Nezuko jokingly stated as the two began to turn red.

(Why is this so terrifying? I’m a hashira damn it, I shouldn’t be this hard! Come on Nezuko, pull yourself together and do something to make it official.) Nezuko thought as her panicked mind went in for a kiss. As the two panicky kissed each other they released what happened and stood silent for a while.

“Sorry about that. I should have..” Muichrio was stopped by Nezuko who reassured him that everything was fine and that she wanted to be with him.

SANEMI AND OBANIA

As the festival began to start Obania and Sanemi went to eat some Ramen, while Giyu and Tanjiro went spectral watching with the Kocho sisters.

“How the hell do you even eat while wearing that mask 24/7?” Sanemi asked as Obania sent his snake down to feed it a dead mouse. Sanemi and Obanai have developed a close bond over the years as comrades in arms. They first met while attacking a mass demon camp in an abandoned castle 3 years ago. The two are frequently sent on missions together and Obania is the only hashira to truly get along with Sanemi.

“Finally the food is here.” Obania said as he raised the bowl to his face. No one knew what was under Obania’s mask so when he started to take it off Sanemi looked at his best friend with suspense and wonder in his eyes.

Sanemi:( What The $%@$%#, are you hiding Obania?)

When Sanemi caught a gaze on Obania he turned around to a wall and ate all his Ramen without showing his face, (Tobi style.)

“So, what are we going to do about the freak guy who thinks he’s a boar?” Sanemi asked with Obania feeling somewhat disturbed for an unknown reason.

“Inosuke has proven his loyalty to us on multiple occasions. He may be annoying but he is someone we can count on in battle.” Obania pointed out as his snake returned to him.

“At least the others won’t have such a drastic reaction when they discover what you truly are.” Sanemi said with Obania being confused on what his friend was referring to.

“Don’t try to deny anything. I saw you take multiple hits from Doma. Hits like those leaves someone with long lasting injuries or scars, and you were the first to recover in less than a day. In fact I can’t remember a single time when you were injured after a fight or even needed to sleep seeing that you always take night patrols for three years straight. What are you?” Sanemi asked while Obania figured out what was being pointed out.

“Out of everyone, I thought you would have the hardest reaction. I know you hate demons more than any of the other hashira and even towards most humans you are cooler than ice. I’ll tell everyone myself but please just give me time.” Obania requested his friend who agreed.

“I still don’t know why you wanted to work on every mission with me. Most of the time I just push others away even my kid brother thinks I hate him.” Sanemi said as he began to eat.

“You the first I could relate to back then. We both have extreme hatred towards demons and we often are seen as cold figures so I thought maybe we could get along somehow.” Obania said with Sanemi raising a glass of sake.

“Well, here’s to us. The coldest bastard’s of in the corps. May we continue to piss everyone off and kill more %$#$%$@ demons. By the way when everyone figures out what you are I’m going to act like I was clueless, I can’t look like a fool in front of them.” Sanemi said with Obania smirking.

“Sure thing, scar face.” Obania jokingly said as they drank the night away.

AOI X INOSUKE

(This should probably fit him, although I’m not sure if he will agree to wear a shirt.) Aoi thought to herself as she finished sewing a fur vest for Inosuke. During the fight with Doma, Inosuke’s boar mask was destroyed and he has been very depressed ever since. Aoi and the triplets decided to cheer him up by making the beast hashira a fur coat armor made with wisteria and bear hide and create a wolf mask that shows his face. When they presented it to Inosuke he stood in silence.

“W-W-What is that?” Inosuke asked in shock of the epic thing that was in front of him.

“Well, you seemed upset about losing that Boar mask that you love so much, so we decided to make you an animal armored coat to protect you in battle and we crafted a wolf mask so that the other demon slayers won’t mistake you for a demon.” Aoi told Inosuke as he put on the coat and mask.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Look out demon scum cause the one and only half demon Inosuke Hashibra is coming to slice you up, starting with helping everyone kill the sky!” Inosuke shouted as he jumped out of the butterfly mansion windows and ran through the port town with Aoi chasing behind to make sure Inosuke didn't hurt himself or others.

“Inosuke get back here!” Aoi shouted at the wild Inosuke.”

“HAHA! You're gonna have to catch me first underling!” Inosuke shouted as he jumped into the port.

THE REPLACEMENTS

Zenitsu began to breathe heavily as Nezuko approached him.

“Zenitsu, I need to tell you something important.” Nezuko said as Zenitsu began to make a long ramble.

“YES, I’LL GO OUT WITH YOU! WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO? THE FIREWORK FESTIVAL, TOKYO, THE MOUNTAINS!” Zenitsu ranted on until Nezuko shouted at him.

“Zenitsu, I’m dating Muichrio and I’m happy with him! I came here to tell you to move on and find someone else to simp over, and also give you some tips on how to get a girlfriend.” Nezuko told the thunder hashira as he completely froze.

After an hour Nezuko showed Zenitsu how to act properly while making sure he didn’t lash out.

“Squawk! Sun hashira Tanjiro and serpent hashira Obania are to report to headquarters for further instructions!” The crow ordered over the hashira base as Nezuko left Zenitsu. The blonde began to break a hole in the butterfly mansion’s fence.

(Muichrio took my Nezuko.) Zenitsu thought as the Kocho sisters restrained him.

“Where is that guy? I’m gonna end him!” Zenitsu shouted menacingly as Aoi knocked the blonde out before he could hurt anyone.

Meanwhile at the master’s mansion, the new leader of the demon slayers, [Lady Tamayo] had summoned Tanjiro and Obania for a mission.

“Muzan has begun to replace the upper moons by giving some demons a large amount of his blood. One of these demons has been attacking the city of tokyo’s markets. I need you to find the demon’s location and kill it before it can cause more damage.” Tamayo told the hashira’s. As Tanjiro and Obania went to the sighting the serpent hashira began to talk.

“So I guess it’s my time for a Kamado mission.” Obania said.

“Uh what do you mean?” Tanjiro asked the hashira.

“Well the other hashira have nicknamed you the upper moon’s bad luck, due to every time you're on a mission with us an upper moon dies. Just think about it. When you joined us on the Mugan train the upper 3 died, when you joined Tengen in the entertainment district we found the upper 2 demon’s den and killed the upper 6 demons. In the swordsmith village your presence unlocked the mark for every hashira, and you killed the upper4 and 5. When we attacked Doma’s temple, your access to the sun breathing let us kill Doma.” Obania pointed out.

“Well, technically Inosuke is the reason we defeated Doma, due to him controlling the demon blood fused ice.” Tanjiro said with Obania stopping him.

“The point is that this will be my solo mission with you so hopefully your luck will help us.” Obania said as they arrived at the city.

4 Hashiras one mission.

When they arrived in the city, Obania saw a kid with yellow and orange hair.

(Is that… No it can’t be. Oh what the hell am i thinking.) Obania said to himself as he went towards the kid.

“Senjuro Rengoku, I didn’t expect to see you here. Did the old man get kicked out of the Hq’s liquor store?” Obania jokingly said, which surprised Tanjiro who thought that Obania was a cold person.

“Actually I joined the demon slayer corps, in hopes of taking Kyojuro’s place of the flame hashira one day. Also I’ve been sent to investigate demon sightings with the love hashira.” Senjuro said as Mitsuri popped out of the crowd.

“OBANAI! I WAS SENT TO ASSIST YOU! I’M SO HAPPY I’M ON A MISSION WITH YOU!” Mitsuri shouted as she squeezed Obanai.

“I’m glad to see you too.” Obanai said as he tried to hide his blush.

“Senjuro you should know that an upper moon is in the area so don’t be a hero yet. I’m sure one day you will make a fine hashira, just stay behind me when the demon comes.” Tanjiro tells the young Rengoku.

That night, Obania and Mitsuri begin eating dumplings while Senjuro and Tanjiro begin to suspect something.

“Tanjiro.” Nezuko shouted from the city street’s.

“Lady Kamado, it’s an honor to meet you.” Senjuro said while bowing to the eclipse hashira.

“That’s going to take some getting used to. Anyway I brought Zenitsu here to help him get a girlfriend. His progress is not going so well.” Nezuko said as a crashing noise was heard from the market.

“Crap, I need to deal with him, it's been great to meet you Senjuro. ZENITSU COULD YOU BEHAVE BY YOURSELF FOR LITERALLY 5 MINUTES!” Nezuko yelled at the blonde who was making some of the city girls uncomfortable.

“So do you think that Lady Kanroji, and lord Iguro will finally get together?” Senjuro asked as he and Tanjiro ate.

“I don’t know. Obanai seems to have a cold exterior but sometimes a glimpse of light comes out when you least expect it to.” Tanjiro said as smoke began to rise in the market. Tanjiro and Senjuro rushed in to find the source.

“NEZUKO, I SWEAR IT WASN’T ME THIS TIME!” Zenitsu shouted as Nezuko knocked the blonde out in order to activate his selfless state to fight the demon that caused the fire.

“Everyone get out of here!” Obanai ordered as he, Mitsuri, Tanjiro, Senjuro, Nezuko and Zenitsu prepared for battle.

UPPER MOON 5 (REPLACEMENT)

As the smoke cleared a snake-like demon emerged from the rubble with blood covered fangs.

“Hello Obanai, it’s been awhile since we last met my kid brother.” The snake demon said as everyone looked at the frozen Obanai who couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

“how-HOW THE HELL ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!” Obanai shouted as fear overcame him.

“Wait, Lord Obanai, how do you know this demon?” Senjuro asked as the demon laughed menacingly.

“Boy, if I were you I wouldn’t bother moving or opening your eyes in the next minute. My demon blood art not only infects humans with deadly venom, but I also have a third eye that opens every 6 minutes and every time it opens, anyone who looks at it turns to stone. Also I can break apart into a million snakes to attack multiple targets all at once.” When hearing the demon’s ability everyone closed their eyes before the third eye activated.

“So, you're the legendary sun hashira that killed four upper moon’s. That girl with the blonde is your sister? Now I know your weakness.” The snake demon said while shooting out venom darts.

“Thunder breathing, 3rd form, thunder swarm.” Zenitsu unleashes a lightning shield around the hashira’s which deflects the poison darts.

(The thunder hashira as a constant access to the selfless state. He may be a problem, no matter, the upper moon 1 will be here soon to deal with the marked ones. I just need to bring Obanai to lord Muzan and I’ll get even more of his power.) The snake demon thought.

“Before I kill you all, I’d like to tell you my past. You won’t be able to move due to the paralysis venom touching your skin from my last attack, it will wear off in a few minutes.” The demon said as it layed on the ruins of the market.

OBANIA’S PAST

“You see, Doma’s bastard wasn’t the only half demon in this world. Muzan breeds with many humans in order to see how a half demon reacts to sunlight. As of now there are a million demons, a hundred thousand of which are half demons. 99% of them became mindless mutated monsters when they reached the age of 3 that have the strength of a lower moon and reside in the infinity castle. The other 1% survived physically and mentally at the cost of physical deformations, with the only expectation being the beast hashira due to Doma’s demon blood art freezing mutations.

The others gained powers at the age of 8 and could consume either human blood or sunlight which half demons are immune to. If a half demon didn’t eat humans, they could walk in the sun with regeneration powers and demon blood arts but had the lifespan of humans, and the ones that ate humans stopped aging to death but lost immunity to the sun like I did when I ate humans.

My name is Cobra. Obanai and I come from Japan’s elite families who worship lord Muzan. Every year they would sacrifice the weakest family member for Muzan’s breeding experiments and thus we were born. I ate my first human 16 years ago to become immortal. Unfortunately. My kid brother’s mutation was considered useless to Lord Muzan and he was thrown into the streets.

The reason he hides his pathetic face is to cover his stained mouth of all the humans he ate.” Cobra said.

“You're lying! Obanai is a hashira, he devoted his life to hunting demons!” Mitsuri shouted but was stopped by Obanai who took off his face mask to reveal a snake shaped mouth.

(Wait, is it weird that I find Obanai’s face beautiful even though his mouth is snake-like. Wait what am I thinking he was always beautiful.) Mitsuri thought as the newly revealed half demon opened his eyes.

THE TRUTH

“You're wrong. I’ve never eaten a human in my life. As time passed I learned that my screams can create sonic sound waves that damage the nerves system of demons and that I can breathe without the presence of air and I am immune to any poison and can destroy poison in others body’s.Before I was a demon slayer I used my powers to survive on the street.

Due to my cursed face I was treated as a freak by everyone, I was caged, beaten, experimented on and outcasted from society. At times I felt like destroying everyone in this damned world.

Then at age 12, the master saved me from corp members who thought I was a complete demon. I don’t blame them, anything with demon blood art is a danger. Even though he knew what I was and the danger I posed he accepted me as a human. Since that day, I vowed to kill every god damn demon I can find until either I died or until Muzan was dead.

Mitsuri, I'm sorry for always being quiet around you. I was so afraid that the kindest person I knew discovered my true self, you would be afraid. No matter what happens I want you to know that I always had feelings for you and I understand if you don’t feel the same way, but I promise you that you will survive this battle.” Obanai declared as everyone drew their swords and activated their marks.

BATTLE BEGINS

Obanai released a large scream that caused the demon to multiple in order to reduce nerve damage.

“Serpent breathing, 6th form, a thousand slithering venoms.” Obania's sword stretched into multiple giant snakeheads that ate the broken apart piece of Cobra, preventing her from attacking civilians.

“Flame breathing 2nd form, blazing universe.” Senjuro striked the tail of the main snake to slow the demon's movements.

“Love breathing, 8th form, tied heart slash.” Mitsuri delivered multiple wip slashes to the giant snake constructs that were the height of skyscrapers.

“Everyone! The demon is using its constructs and other demons as a shield. We need to destroy them to kill the upper moon!” Tanjiro shouted as Zenitsu opened his eyes.

“Thunder breathing 5th form, distant thunder.” Zenitsu unleashed a dozen thunder strike at the constructs which blinded the demon.

“Sun breathing 9th form, dragon sun halo head dance.” Tanjiro unleashed a fury of attacks on the snake venom strikes as he and the others rushed up the building where Cobra had taken the nest.

“Sun breathing 4th form, burning bones summer sun.” Nezuko prevented the demon from grabbing Senjuro as she tore apart the tail.

“Serpent breathing 3rd form, coil choke.” Obanai’s sword surrounded Cobra, trapping him in a snake-like grip, letting the others unleash a barrage of attacks until the neck relieved itself.

“Sun breathing 8th form sunflower thrust.” Nezuko and Mitsuri pinned the tail so the demon couldn’t break apart into pieces.

“Flame breathing 5th, form flame tiger.” Senjuro sent a tiger construct of fire to burn the mouth of Cobra to prevent the demon from using its venom darts by damaging the insides.

“Sun breathing 10th form, fire wheel.” Tanjiro striked the demon from above to destroy all the demon's stone turning eyes so that Zenitsu could land his shot.

“Thunder breathing 7th form, flaming thunder god.” Zenitsu dashed at the speed of light through the rubble and cut off the demon’s head in the blink of an eye.

As the demon faded away, Obanai absorbed its powers so that he could used them later.

(Damn you Obanai, how the hell did I lose. I became an upper moon and still I wasn’t able to kill him, and to imagine that he’s beaten 6 through 2.) Cobra thought as he disintegrated.

“Obanai! The demon it- it tore off your arm!” Mitsuri shouted as she rushed to Obanai. “I always loved you. Everything we ate I enjoyed every moment with you. Please don’t leave me.” Mitsuri sobbed until Obanai showed her that he could regenerate.

“I’m alive, I actually survived an encounter with an upper moon.” Senjuro said to himself as he collapsed from exhaustion.

3 days later, the Tokyo citizens thanked the hashiras for their help.

“Hey where’s Zenitsu?” Tanjiro asked as he noticed the blonde missing.

“Some of the girls who saw him fight for some reason were amazed by his skills and started talking to him. Now it actually looks like he has a chance of dating someone.” Nezuko said jokingly.

“So it looks like Obanai and Mitsuri are a thing now. I wonder what the others, mainly Sanemi will do to Obanai after he revealed to everyone he is a half demon?” Nezuko asked.

“Obanai has been a hashira for 3 years so I think he will be fine. Besides, Inosuke was revealed to be a half demon and everyone seems fine around him.” Tanjiro reassured the worried Nezuko.

“Tanjiro!” Senjuro shouted as he bowed in front of the sun hashira.

“Please sir. Take me on as your Tsuguko. I wish to become as strong as my brother and become the next flame hashira. My father is dead and I want to honor Kyojuro’s memory by helping others.” Senjuro pleaded to Tanjiro.

“Senjuro, I promise to make you the strongest flame hashira the corps has ever seen. It will take time and a lot of hard work, but I’m sure you will become a great hashira one day.” Tanjiro vowed as he agreed to teach Senjuro. As the boy hugged his new Sensi, Tanjiro noticed that Senjuro unlocked his demon slayer mark.

(In 6 years, the blood eclipse will open the gates to the infinity castle. I need to activate the final stage of the mark to save everyone.) Tanjiro thought as he and the others were sent to the butterfly mansion for treatment.

INFINITY CASTLE

“Kokushibo, I will be sending more powerful demons to fight the hashira with footage of their battles being sent to you telepathically so you can prepare for the final battle.” Muzan told the moon breather as the castle moved to upper 1’s training center.

STONE HASHIRA AND MOUNT FUJI

As Obanai revealed his half demon identity at the hashira meeting, Sanemi stood up as everyone watched carefully.

“What the $%@#.There's a thousand of these half demons roaming around in human bodies!” Sanemi shouted as Mitsuri stood in front of Obanai.

“So what if Snake face is a half demon. I’m a half demon too you know and all of you didn’t consider kicking me out of the corps.” Inosuke said in Obanai’s defense.

“You never knew about your true nature while I did and I wasn’t honest about it in fear of being killed or looked down upon. This is a different dilemma and I'm sorry for everything.” Obanai said to keep the mixed views on Inosuke away.

“I knew that Inosuke and Obanai were half demons from the start. I saw that in the transparent world that Obanai’s organs were not the same as everyone else’s. At first I was concerned about this information, but as I saw their devotion to our cause and decided to wait until Obanai and Inosuke said something about it.” Gyomei told the other hashira. At the end of the meeting the hashira agreed that Obanai should stay a hashira due to his loyalty.

“The other half demons. Do you think any of them could help us in our fight against Muzan?” Muichrio asked while Tamayo’s crow flew in.

“Not likely. Those who aren’t aligned with Muzan are most likely afraid to reveal themselves to the public.” Zenitsu said as Tamayo entered HQ.

“I’m sorry for the interruption, but the upper moon 1 was spotted at mount Fuji.” Tamayo said as the room went quiet until Gyomei stood up.

“Inosuke, Muichrio, Nezuko, you 3 are best suited for areas of high altitude. I would bring Tanjiro but he has taken Senjuro under his wing and is preoccupied with training the young boy.” Gyomei told the 3 as they prepared to climb the mountain.

“What’s up with the big guy?” Inosuke asked Muichrio.

“He’s been a hashira before any of the others joined the corps. He’s the captain of the hashira for a reason he is the strongest hashira, even without the mark none of us can match his strength.” Muichrio told the half demon.

In 3 days, the group reach the mountain and began to climb it.

Meanwhile Tanjiro begins teaching Senjuro to master his breathing style.

“Sun breathing is the most similar form to flame breathing meaning that the fires emitted by those styles mimic solar absorption and redirect it towards demons. In order to gain more strength you must fight an opponent that has strength beyond your capabilities which is why sparing is the best way to improve skills.” Tanjiro instructed Senjuro as they drew training swords.

Back at the mountain, Inosuke was showing off a new breathing style he created by infusing his ice blood art with beast breathing.

“Observe underlings.” Inosuke proclaimed as Nezuko and Muichrio looked in confusion.

“Ice breathing 1st form, frozen icebreaker.” One powerful strike that shatters the cellular structure of large demons, aimed towards the spine.

Ice breathing 2nd form, winter wrath.” Inosuke rotates so fast that he moves like a spin dash while holding his swords, he uses this to ram through demons and to ensure a better chance of decapitation when hitting a demon.

“Ice breathing 3rd form, frozen summit.” Inosuke can use the frozen winds to pull demons closer to him like a magnet, then he decapitates the demons when they get close enough.

“Ice breathing 4th form, silent avalanche.” Inosuke enters the selfless state and lands 100 strikes on a demon without making a sound in 1 second.

“Ice breathing 5th form, hailstorm crash.” Inosuke destroys all the ice he created to cause spikes of ice to fall down upon his enemies from the sky.

Ice breathing 6th form, mighty icicle dragon.” Similar to the 10th form of water breathing, this move creates a constant striking movement for long battles.

“Ice breathing 7th form, frozen wolf fangs.” The slice and dice move with the strikes paralyzing demon movements.

“Ice breathing 8th form, Thin ice dance.” This form increases the user's speed by making their movements feel like sliding across ice while the user strikes multiple targets in quick succession.

“Ice breathing 9th form, winter gale blizzard.” A force of a snow storm is used to attack demons from all sides inflicting heavy damage.

“Ice breathing 10th form, crystalized snowflakes.”1,000 Ice arrows constructs to attack demon necks from a long distance.

“Ice breathing 11th form, arctic destruction.” Inosuke creates ice clones of himself (Max 6) by cutting himself and bleeding out. These clones have the same skills as the original and can last for 24 hours.

“Ice breathing 12th form, sleeping tundra.” 10 buddha ice structures form to completely freeze the movements of demons.

“Ice breathing 13th form, falling snow.” Inosuke creates ice shields around himself and his friends. These shields have the durability of Palladium microalloy glass (The strongest substance on earth).

Ice breathing 14th form, Abyss.” Can only be used when demon slayer mark is in use, Inosuke can create a giant ice meteor the size of Tokyo by swirling his swords in circles to gather up enough blood to form the construct. Then he launches the meteor at the desired target.

“Ice breathing 15th form, Frostbite.” Inosuke’s swords were reforged with Douma’s blade fans to increase the striking force and to inject Inosuke’s blood that he can control by thought into demon bodies which turns the demon’s cell into pure ice, freezing it forever.

KOKUSHIBO SUMMIT

At the mountain's summit a large group of demons awaited the hashira. When they reached the top a demon the size of Mount Fuji appeared with upper 4 eyes.

“So Muzan really is just giving out blood and ranks out of desperation these days. I guess we really put a dent in his ego.” Muichrio said to agitate the demons.

“Water breathing 3rd form, flowing dance.” Nezuko quickly decapitated the weaker demons as Gyomei went to fight the mountain demon.

“Mist breathing 4th form, sea of clouds and haze.” Muichrio took quick work of his opponents while Inosuke rushed in to help Gyomei.

“What the hell is that thing?” Inosuke shouted at the stone hashira. The mountain demon tried to smas the hashira but Gyomei pinned the beast down in one blow. Then Inosuke unleashed his power.

“Stone breathing 5th form, pillars of justice.” “Ice breathing 12th form, sleeping tundra.” Inosuke used his demon powers to freeze the mountain demon so that Gyomei could finish it off in one powerful swing.

THE RETURN INFO

Inosuke smashed through the training hall roof to meet up with Tanjiro who was training Senjuro.

“You won’t believe what that big guy can do Kampachrio!” Inosuke shouted while frightening the Kocho triplets who were watching Senjuro.

“Inosuke! Can you for once just use a door! Also you're scaring everyone, you're a hashira now and you need to act better around the other corp members!” Tanjro said to Inosuke who began to ramble on nonsense for hours.

Meanwhile the thunder hashira rushed towards Nezuko when she returned from the mountain.

“Not now Zenitsu, I need to report something to Tamayo.” Nezuko said as Zenitsu held up a photograph of him and a city girl.

“Nezuko, I….. I got engaged to a daughter of a high and rich noble family.” Zenitsu told Nezuko with happiness overflowing. Nezuko stood dumbfounded at the information.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!hahaha…… Oh crap, you're serious.” Nezuko said as she realized the honesty in the blonde’s voice.

“How the hell did you pull that off in 2 months?” Nezuko asked the blonde.

“Well, after I killed the snake demon in Tokyo, one of the noble families saw me fight and believed that I was a samurai. They offered one of their daughters to me in marriage if I helped them rebuild the entertainment district where 25% of their money case from and I also need to teach their sons thunder breathing. The girl says that she is fine being with me and that I make delicious rice cakes.” Zenitsu explained as he told more about his finance named Yuri.

“Congrats Zenitsu, it’s still hard to believe that you of all people are getting married. You know that those married to nobility can take on multiple harems like Tengen does.” Nezuko told the thunder hashira who is uncontrollably blushing.

STRONGEST HASHIRA

A week later, Giyu meets with Nezuko and Tanjiro at his home to catch up on their lives.

“Shinobu came by earlier and presented a scale of the hashira and their Tsguko based on their potential and strength going forward, from strongest to weakest.” Giyu told the Kamado twins.

“What are the ranks at now?” Tanjiro asked with Nezuko. Giyu gave the twins the ranking of the hashira.

1: Gyomei (stone hashira).

2:Sanemi (Wind hashira).

3: Giyu ( water hashira).

4: Tanjiro Kamado (Sun hashira).

5:Nezuko Kamado (Eclipse hashira).

6: Muichrio (Mist hashira).

7: Inosuke (Beast hashira).

8: Zenitsu (Thunder hashira).

9: Obanai (Serpent hashira).

10: Mitsuri (Love hashira)

11: Kanao (Flower hashira).

12:Senjuro: (Potential flame hashira).

GIYU PAST

(To imagine that Gyomei hasn’t unlocked his mark and is still the strongest hashira.) Tanjiro thought as Giyu walked away. Nezuko saw a tear going down Giyu’s face and followed him.

“Is everything okay Giyu, I know your the quiet type but you seem well off.” Nezuko said as Giyu sat down near a river with the Kamado twins following. As they looked across the woods and beauty around them the water hashira began to speak.

“You two remind me of my brother and sister.” Giyu said as the Kamado twins stood in silence as they couldn’t believe that Giyu was talking about his past.

“You have family!” The twins shouted in shock. “I had a family.” Giyu replied as he began to feed the nearby ducks bread crumbs.

“We were orphaned after our parents were killed by demons. So after Urokodaki took us as his students and trained us to become demon slayers. Sabito and Makomo always had more natural talent for water breathing from the beginning and I always believed that Sabito would become the next water hashira.

Then final selection came. After the test was finished only 2 of the 20 participants died. Those two were Sabito and Makomo. They made sure that everyone else survived final selection, and they died protecting me, their kid brother. Truth is, I don’t deserve to be a hashira, I failed everyone that was close to me. I’m nothing but scum.” Giyu said as his self hatred and depression was seen.

Tanjiro then stepped in and snapped Giyu out of his lonely trance.

“Don’t say things like that! Because of you, me and Nezuko were able to join the demon slayers. You helped us learn about the breathing styles and saved us from Rui. Your skills helped us become hashira and because you saved us, only one upper moon demon remains and the demon slayer marks are reawakened for everyone. So don’t say your a burden because you are the reason we got this far and we will always carry your will in our hearts.” Tanjiro told Giyu as he and Nezuko hugged the water hashira.

Giyu began to cry as he saw the will of his brother and sister {Sabito, and Makomo} in the Kamado twins.

“Tanjiro, Nezuko, Thank you.” Giyu said as he smiled for the first time in years.

The next day Tamayo announced that due to a majority of demons going into hiding in fear of marked slayers, the hashira will be devoting their time to train the rest of the slayers.

“Whatever comes next we stand together, right.” Nezuko said as she and Tanjiro watched the sunset.

6 YEARS LATER

At the butterfly mansion Senjuro Rengoku (The new flame hashira,and Kyojuro’s kid brother [age 20]) was honing his flame breathing skills when he heard a crashing noise from inside the mansion. (I wonder what that could be.) Senjuro thought he went to find the disturbance. When he turned 15, Senjuro began training as Tanjiro’s Tsuguko. Even though Senjuro never had the talent of his older brother, Tanjiro never gave up on him and after 2 and a half years of sleepless nights and hard work. Senjuro was appointed to the position as Flame hashira. Thanks to Tanjiro’s training, Senjuro mastered every flame breathing form and created his own form. Flame breathing 10th form, molten eruption. This created a fast strike with lava slashes on the sides creating a triple attack.

(Master Tanjiro, you always did believe I could become a hashira with just hard work and no talent.) Senjuro thought as he saw the moon hashira, Nezuko running towards the mansion. “Senjuro!” Nezuko shouted with the boy looking confused as ever seeing his superior run around like an airhead. “Lady Kamado what’s wrong?” Senjuro asked.

Nezuko started panting hard. “Kanao went to labor this morning and I was busy hunting demons. Is she okay? Was Tanjiro with her? Is the baby healthy? I heard she was sent here to be treated and I came as fast as I could. I really hope Kanao’s okay. I know having a child is rough on the body, but I can’t relate because I can’t have kids. No literally Shinobu showed that I didn’t have the proper genetics to have children.” Nezuko began to rant until Senjuro stopped her.

“Have you tried going inside the mansion?” Senjuro asked. Nezuko looked dumbfounded and entered the mansion.

“Aoi where’s-.” Nezuko gets interrupted by Aoi. “She’s fine Nezuko, I’ll lead you to them.” As they approached Kanao’s room. “Hi Nezuko.” Tanjiro waved as Nezuko saw her niece and nephew for the first time. “They're so cuteeee. I’m so proud of you Kanao. I know it must have hurt a lot to bring them here.” Nezuko said as she cried over her sister in law. “It wasn’t that bad Nezuko, It wasn’t as bad as being stabbed or anything.” Kanao said light heartedly. “Sorry for making you worry Nezuko.” Tanjiro said.
“Don’t apologize you were the ones who became parents today and I wasn’t with you two to help.” Nezuko said while hugging Tanjiro.

“Senjuro.” The triplets called. Over the past years the triplets have developed a crush on Senjuro and have agreed to share him with each other. (If big brother saw me now he’d be comparing me to Tengen and his 3 wives.) Senjuro thought as the Kocho triplets squeezed him from all sides. Senjuro liked having them around him but at times they could be overbearing. When his father died of alcoholism he joined the demon slayers and met the triplets. They always supported his dream of becoming the next flame hashira. He already unlocked his mark(Sun shaped marks across his eyes.) which gave him a huge boost in power.

“Looks like you have experienced the first step of the flashy lifestyle.” Tengen said as he passed Senjuro.

Soon Murichrio was able to calm down his wife Nezuko, (More on that later). “Congrats on the kid Kamaprijo.” Inosuke said. As the years passed Inosuke developed a more polite personality as he developed a crush for Aoi at 17 and tried his best to become a better person for her. He still is an airhead and always is reckless in battle. “What would you all do without me?” Aoi asked jokingly.

Zenist was next to greet the new family with his wife Yui. At 18 Zenistu gave up on his chase of Nezuko after she and Murichrio started dating and a year later he somehow to everyone’s shock got married to a girl from the south.

“Sorry we’re late everyone, Mitsuri broke a hole in the wall when she found out that the twins were born. You don’t want to know how difficult it is to calm her down and three kids (age 3 and 1).” Obania said as Mitsuri ran to hug Kanao. Soon after the defeat of Doma Obania confessed his feelings for Mitsuri which she gladly accepted. They married at 20,22. They then had a pair of twins at 22,24, and had another child last year. Mitsuri decided 3 was enough because she didn’t have to divert too much time off her hashira duties.

The next day Giyu came to Tanjiro, seeming unsettled. “Guyi what’s wrong?” Tanjiro asked, seeing the sadness in Giyu’s face. “Urokodaki has passed.” Giyu said as tanjiro ran in for a hug seeing that his friend was in pain.

“First my parents, then my older brother Sabito, then Rengoku, then the master, and now my sensei has died.” Giyu stated as he put flowers on Urokodaki’s grave. “Mr Urokodaki, without you me and Nezuko would have never been able to get to where we are now. Please rest easy knowing that your teachings have saved countless lives.” Tanjiro and Nezuko said as they paid their respects to their master.

Zenistu looked down upon himself. His grandfather committed suicide when Zenistu’s brother turned into a demon and died on the Mugan train. He vowed from that day on to not be afraid. He doesn’t need to sleep to activate his true strength.

Lady Tamayo was now the leader of the demon slayers and had a plan to kill Muzan. During the next eclipse the infinity castle will be exposed to the mortal realm and can be entered. On that day the plan is to destroy Muzan.

Meanwhile Murichrio stares at the clouds with Nezuko. “What was the name of that flower again?” Murichrio asked his wife while they sat at the butterfly mansion. “Pretty sure it’s wisteria, it’s what we use to keep captured demons for final selection.” Nezuko replied as she went in to snuggle with Murichrio. When Nezuko was 17 she went on a mission with Murichrio to hunt down a hawk demon. After the battle Murichrio and Nezuko got udon to eat. While eating Murichrio and Nezuko started discussing their shared interest in knitting. After that the two started dating and when Nezuko turned 20 she married the mist hashira. Although the couple tried, they couldn’t have children due to Nezuko’s infertility. Although she was upset when she learned this, Nezuko kept looking on the bright side of life and with the support of her husband Nezuko got even stronger.

Genya felt worthless compared to the others. Even though he finally mastered stone breathing to the skills of a hashira and unlocked his mark, Genya still felt like he didn’t do enough to prove his worth as a demon slayer. (Snap out of it shithead, the demon slayers need you and your strategy mind besides you're already the 2nd in command of the 1st company and you’ve mastered stone and wind breathing.) Genya thought as he started his training.

Senjueo knew that something big was going to happen with the eclipse approaching. He heard that they plan to fight Muzan. (Have we really found him?) Senjuro thought as he was called for an emergency hashira meeting.

A few weeks later Tamayo saw Muzan approach the master’s old home. “Tamayo, I never expected to see you working for the demon slayers.” Muzan said as he got close to Tamayo. “Tonight is the blood eclipse. The last blood eclipse was during your battle with the first breathers if I’m correct.” Tamayo said as she sent out the last crows. “You were a fool to expose yourself.” MUzan said while grabbing the corps leader. “NO. Everything is going to plan. As we speak the demon slayers have entered the infinity castle (YOUR TRUE BODY) and are working to destroy the last of the demons you have stored in there. Farewell you bastard.” Tamayo finished as she ignited the TNT around the mansion, killing her and poisoning the demon king.

As Tanjiro looked at the explosion in the distance he knew that this plan had to work.

(Muzan I swear to finally live up to me and Nezuko’s promise of killing you and wiping demons off this world. Tonight you will die.) Tanjiro thought as he and the other hashira, even Tengen and Gyomei unlock their marks as they all enter the

INFINITY CASTLE!

The INFINITY CASTLE

As tens of thousands of demons emerged from the castle the 9th company found themselves relying on the Sound hashira to survive. After causing considerable damage the walls started moving Tengen away from his company. “Keep fighting!” Tengen ordered as he found himself in a tall room with stone pillars. At the room’s center of the room was a demon samurai surrounded by lower demons. After cleaning up the paws Tengen charged towards the samurai.

Meanwhile Shinobu and Mitsuri were focused on fighting the biwa demon that was protecting Muzan while he regenerated in the top castle level. “We just need to cut the head off and Muzan’s true form will emerge!” Shinobu shouted as the two hashira continued fighting.

While the biwa controlled the battlefield the other hashira in the lower castle levels were being teleported to the upper moon 1 demon, (Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenistu, Inosuke, Kanao, Genya, Giyu, Obania, Senjuro, Murichrio, Gyomei, Sanemi [all marked]). When Tanjiro saw where he was he smelled Tengen’s scent fighting. The God of festivals kept missing the demon even with the transparent word and selfless state.

“HAHAHA! I get it you’re too afraid to fight me, that's why you keep dodging me.” Tengen shouted as he struck again. At that moment Kokushibo saw his brother’s earrings on Tanjiro and disappeared leaving nothing but his voice.

“Tanjiro Kamado, tell me where did you get my brother’s earring?” Kokushibo asked. The hashira stood in shock knowing that their enemy was the first moon breather.

“They were passed down by Yorichi to Sumiyoshi, the first eclipse breather and has been passed down in our family ever since.” Tanjiro replied with fear in his eyes. “So you're my younger brother’s descendant. It seems that I still need to wipe out my bloodline.” The upper moon said as he launched forward only to be stopped by Uzi.

“I’m not done with you yet!” Tengen shouted as Kokushibo drew his sword. “TENGEN WAIT!” Sanemi shouted as everyone got ready to fight… “Moon breathing 1st form, lunar cut.” As Kokushibo finished his strike Tengen was sliced in half with blood pouring out.

As Inosuke was deafened with sorrow and shock, the upper moon sliced Inosukes limbs off.

“So you are Doma's experimental half demon. I’m not impressed.” Before the upper 1 could cut the boar's head off Sanemi saved him and reattached Inosukes limbs (Inosuke has a demon’s regen abilities.) “Everyone get your shit together! We spent years planning for this day and this bastard isn't going to stop us! Gyomei, Genya you're with me! Murichrio, Nezuko use that dual eclipse breathing to use at 11 o'clock! Tanjiro, Senjuro you're supporting Nezuko and Murichrio! Kanao, Zenistu, Inosuke to the left! Obanai, Giyu you're on the right! Let’s give this #$%$#$% a piece of hell!” Sanemi ordered as he took control of the battle.

Hashira vs Kokoshibo

Gyomei and Sanemi were carrying the battle as it tore layer after layer of the castle. “Eclipse breathing, 5th form, black light heat ray.” Murichrio and Nezuko lead a streak of dual attacks mixing sun and moon breathing to deliver an onslaught on long range attacks.

Meanwhile Obania and Giyu were using whatever attacks they could with the powerhouse of a battle. The castle began to collapse as the fight dealt too much damage to the walls. It was a flurry of attack after attack from each demon slayer trying to defeat upper1. Everyone's blades have turned red as Genya was dealing dual damage with Sanemi.

Senjuro felt like his arms would fall off as he caught the eye of the upper moon. (His strikes felt like a mountain is crashing down on me. Am I going to- NO snap out of it. You're a hashira damn it! Dying now would be a disgrace to the name Rengoku. Big brother died in the name of the corps and I won’t let his death be in vain!) Senjuro thought as he regripped his sword while deflecting the multiple moon breathing strikes.

“Flame breathing 4th form, blooming flame undulation.” Senjuro unleashed a flame shield to get him back into an offensive position.

“So you still have strength in you.” Kokoshibo stated as he unleashed the extensions of his sword. “Flame breathing 9th form, Rengoku!” (This is for you Kyjuro.) Senjuro thought as he charged. A flame dragon emerged around the boy as he went for a killing blow.

“Such arrogance.” Kokoshibo whispered as he raised his sword. (moon breath-, Wait where did he- Gahh!) Before the demon could think Senjuro had strike Kokoshibo from behind with the force of a nuke.

Senjuro’s attack rammed Kokoshibo through 10 kilometers of stone walls while the flame hashira’s strike began to burn off the demon's robes and flesh. (Impossible. Only Yoruichi was able to land a blow this powerful on me. This kid, how the hell are they this strong, he never even consumed the blue spider lily!) Kokoshibo thought as fear filled his eyes.

(Crap! I’m running out of energy. My body won’t be able to keep this form up for much longer!) Senjuro thought as his dash slowed down. (The boy seems to be at his limit. This is my chance to break free.) Kokoshibo thought as his feet locked into the floor.

“Senjuro!, tag out,!” Nezuko ordered as she took Senjuro’s offensive stance while Senjuro took defense with the others. (The plan was for each hashira to have rotations of offensive and defensive fighting positions.)

“Sun breathing 13th form, full cycle.” Nezuko unleashed a unique flurry of strikes that carried out all twelve Sun Breathing moves in one fluid motion.

“You call yourself a sun breather while relying on others. The blue spider lily wasted its power on such an ugly and pathetic tramp.” Kokoshibo told the Kamado sister while they sliced through the area's support pillars.

(What the *redacted*.) “You bastard!” Nezuko shouted as she headbutted Kokoshibo.

Nezuko landed multiple strikes on the demon’s eyes until Tanjiro caught up to their position. “Tanjiro, you mind giving me a hand?” Tanjiro heard Nezuko’s signal and jumped in from behind.

“So the actual sun hashira now fights me! I will enjoy destroying the last remnants of my brother's memory!” Kokoshibo declared as the twins unleashed hell upon Kokoshibo.

The twins caused the castle lights to turn red with the sun breathing igniting the wooden levels of the castle. It wasn’t until Inosuke recovered that the Kamado siblings could catch their breath.

“What the hell happened with you two. We were about to kill that monster until you two passed out!” Inosuke shouted while he placed them into cover. “Who’s fighting upper 1?” Nezuko asked as she tried to stand.

“Well if you want to know that badly. Kanao, Genya, and your boy toy of a lover have been working their asses off fighting that demon. Me and Zenistu are gonna give them cover. Get yourselves together as fast as possible!” Inosuke screamed as he rushed towards the fight.

Kokoshibo began to feel overwhelmed by the 5 demon slayer’s constant barrage of attacks.

(The half demon enforced the others with ice shields. So he really has mastered Doma’s abilities. No matter I just need to slice off the head and he’ll be gone and with- gagah! What the_gah!). Kokoshibo felt millions of yellow cuts cellularly destroy his eyes and slowing his regeneration.

“Thunder breathing 3rd form, thunder swarm.” Zenistu unleashed a thunder cage that held Kokushibo in place until the heavy hitters arrived. While waiting, Giyu, Obania, Inosuke, Kanao, Murichrio, and Zenistu landed multiple slashes on the back neck to weaken the upper moon.

Sanemi and Gyomei finally arrived and forced out Kokushibo’s final form. The wind and stone hashira’s caused such a powerful attack barrage that the other hashira’s had to step back.

(They always said they were the strongest out of the hashira.) Genya thought as he saw his brother and sensei devastate the demon While Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Senjuro got back into the fight.

Everyone was trading hits with the enemy until Tanjiro and Senjuro opened a weak spot. “Zenistu now!” Gyomei ordered. Zenistu’s full power allowed him to travel at light speed and made it seem that he was everywhere to even demon eyes. “Thunder breathing 7th form, flaming thunder god.” As Zenist disarmed the demon all the hashira’s hit the neck with their strongest attacks until swords started to sprout out of the demon, stabbing Sanemi.

“Cough-cough, Don’t-cough, stop no matter what!” Sanemi ordered while his internal organs bleeded out. Finally after what seemed like a century the upper moon 1’s head was sliced off.

Meanwhile Mitsuri was able to kill the biwa demon and destroy the castle.

Back in what remained of the lower levels, the hashira caught their breath and strength. The group formed around Tengen’s remains and gave their respects.

“I’m sorry you couldn’t live to see our victory. May you give good fortune to Kyojuro in the next life.” Gyomei said as he saw Sanemi fall to the floor.

“Brother!” Genya shouted as he tried to feed Sanemi demon flesh. “Don’t, my intestines have been destroyed-cough-cough, the flesh won’t do me any good.” Sanemi said as he coughed up blood.

“Please don’t do this not now. I’m sorry for yelling at you that day, I know that mother was turned into a demon, I’m so sorry I just-. I JUST WANT MY BIG BROTHER BACK, I’LL DO ANYTHING FOR THAT!” Genya cried as he tightened his grip on Sanemi.

“Be a good wind hashira for me. O- cough- cough-cough-cough, okay.” Sanemi said as he passed his sword to Genya while coughing up more blood.

At this point Genya couldn’t hold himself together as his face became a wet waterfall.

“Gen-cough, Genya, I knew you didn’t mean what you said that day. I-cough-cough, just wanted you to stay away from me so you -cough-cough, could have a good life you idiot.” Sanemi explained as he felt his heart slow down. Genya couldn’t look anymore at the horror.

Then he felt Sanemi’s hand on his face trying to give the younger brother comfort, causing Genya to reopen his watering eyes.

“we’d - cough, used to love sleeping when we-cough, when we were kids. All our problems seemed to-cough, fade away when we dreamed… What a wonderful dream you’ve been for me Genya.” Sanemi said as he died with a smile on his face, the one thing Genya wished to see come back for so long. Sanemi died smiling and holding on to his brother while the other hashira began to cry as sanemi’s body felt numb in death.

Genya began hitting the floor out of rage for what felt like days until Senjuro stopped him. “Please stay with us. We still need to defeat Muzan. Don’t let Tengen and Sanemi’s death’s be in vain. I know how you feel useless. Like you couldn't do anything to save them. I felt the same when my older brother died. Still they wouldn’t want us to give up! Please humanity still needs you Genya!” Senjuro told the newly appointed wind hashira.

As Genya stood up he grabbed his brother’s sword. “Where the hell is this bastard?” Genya demanded as he slashed open the roof revealing Shinobu and Mitsuri.

“We did it. We killed the biwa demon.” Mitsuri said with pride. Then the demon slayers found themselves transported to Tokyo in ruins. “You pests. You dare attack me. YOU DARE ATTACK A GOD!” Muzan shouted as he revealed his true form. “Everyone charge!” The enraged Genya ordered as everyone went in for the atack to end Muzan.

“Nezuko, are you ready?” Tanjiro looked at his sister as she drew her sword. “MUZAN TODAY WE AVENGE OUR FAMILIES!” Nezuko shouted as she and Tanjiro began their attack.

THE FINAL BATTLE HAS BEGUN.

MUZAN VS HASHIRA

As Genya landed the first blow Muzan unleashed his demon blood art.

“He’s too damn fast.” Genya shouted when he realized that cutting off the neck won’t kill Muzan. “Everyone don’t stop. If we can hold him off until sunrise then the sun will finish him off!” Senjuro shouted as he pinpointed Muzan’s hearts and brains in the transparent realm.

“This entire city was destroyed just by Muzan’s arrival. We have to end this now!” Tanjiro shouted as he unleashed a sun halo on Muzan.

“Everyone stay in format-.... Gah!” Tanjiro felt his organs bleed out as Muzan hit the sun hashira into a collapsed building.

“AHHHH!” Tanjiro screamed as his left arm got ripped out of its socket and felt his right eye being stabbed out.

“OH MY GOD! TANJIRO!” Kanao shouted as she rushed over to her husband with Shinobu following to give Tanjiro medical attention.

Meanwhile Muzan was dealing fatal damage on the hashira, with Giyu’s eyes being stabbed out and Gyomei taking the majority of Muzan’s attacks to shield Mitsuri and Obania. Nezuko did her best to weaken Muzan with her Sun breathing.
She was successful for 2 hours until Muzan caught her by the neck and began choking the moon hashira.

As Tanjiro opened his eyes he saw Kanao by his side as she said to him, “Take it easy you're already hurt enough, just try to-Gah!” Kanao started choking when she felt Muzan’s spears pierce through her heart.

Tanjiro watched in horror as his wife began to die in front of him.

“Kanao! STAY WITH ME!STAY WITH ME! STAY WITH ME!” tanjiro pleaded has Kanao’s heartbeat stopped and Tanjiro passed out.

Tanjiro opened his eyes to see a demon slayer with his earrings and a red robe.

“Greeting Tanjiro Kamado.” The man said in a calm and heartfelt voice. “I am Yoruichi, the first sun-breather.” He explained to Tanjiro. As Kamado heard this he bowed before his ancestor. “I’m so sorry! I’ve failed everyone! I’m not strong enough to defeat Muzan, and everyones going to die and, sniff.” Tanjiro felt somber as he failed to speak.

“There is a way for victory. If you allow me to help you…. There is a 3rd stage to the mark but it will cost you your life.” Yorichi explained.

Tanjiro looked up and asked, “What do I need to do?”

“Stab your lungs with your sword and the cells in your body will implode, causing all the battle experience and skills of my prime body to infuse with your body. After that, the other mark ones will be freed from the mark’s early death curse. Your body will die an hour after sunrise and every cell in your body will turn to ash.” Yurichii explained as he activated the mark's final power.

“Good luck Kamado.” Yurichii wished as Tanjiro reawakened in the mortal realm. Tanjiro followed Yurichii’s instructions and activated the final mark power.

Tanjiro began his fierce attack on Muzan with Yurichii’s power flowing through him. “GET YOUR *redacted* HANDS OFF NEZUKO YOU BASTARD!” Tanjiro shouted as he spammed the 13th form of sun breathing. Giyo and Gyomei started to cover Tanjiro as he stalled the demon king until the sun rose.

“How long till sunset?” Zenistu asked as he sliced off one of Muzan’s spears.

“Just 30 more minutes and we’ll be in the-.” Giyu stopped as he saw Shinobu’s dead body laying in the city’s rubble. Filled with rage, Giyu began to take the front lines with Tanjiro.

“Water breathing, final form, infinite ocean blast!” Giyu summoned a karakan construct of water that chained Muzan to a massive water tentacle that had been frozen by Inosuke’s demon blood art.

(This squid is slowing my regeneration. I need to expand my size.) Muzan thought as Tanjiro used sunflower thrust to boil in the construct's insides. “Keep pushing! The sun is almost….” Tanjiro stops as he feels Muzan’s claws strike his chest as A lump of flesh and arms broke through the construct.

“The sun has risen, it's only a matter of time until Muzan dies!” Murichrio screamed as Muzan grabbed a hold of Giyu’s neck.

“I HOPE THAT YOU BURN IN THE DARKEST PIT OF HELL WITH THE REST OF YOUR DEMONS!” Giyu shouted as Muzan snapped the water hashira’s neck.

Obanai freezed in shock as he saw another of his friends die before him.

“Focus Obanai we’re still not finished!” Gyomei shouted as he held the demon king in the sunlight.

“SENSEI IT'S GOING TO CRUSH YOU IF YOU EXPOSE YOURSELF LIKE THAT!” Genya shouted as a plea for his master to save himself.

“I know that I’ll die here Genya! Just make sure that we win!” Gyomei orders as Muzan puts all his blood poison into the stone hashira.

After so much death and bloodshed Muzan turned to ash after 15 minutes in the sun.

AFTERMATH

Genya looked up at the blood scorched battlefield as the medical team arrived. When they arrived Genya started to shout out orders.

“Count our fallen! Tend to the wounded! Find any civilian survivors and bring them to the butterfly mansion!”

When the count was finished the survivors' names were listed.

(Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenistu, Inosuke, Genya, Mitsuri, Murichrio, Obanai, Senjuro.)

The names of the deceased.
(Kanao, Shinobu, Giyu, Gyomei, Tengen, Sanemi.)

When Tanjiro heard the casualties he began to break down in tears. “Giyu if it wasn’t for you, me and Nezuko would have never survived. Shinobu thank you so much for your hospitality in the butterfly mansion for all these years. Gyomei your wisdom helped Senjuro gain the will of fire. Sanemi, although we didn’t get along that well, you truly care for Genya with all your heart and would do anything to protect him. Tengen, you helped me manifest the mark, your sacrifices will never be forgotten, and I’ll tell your wives that you died honorably.”

“Ka-Ka-Ka-Kanao, sniff. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WHY DID YOU TAKE THAT HIT FOR ME? I ALREADY WAS ON DEATH’S DOORSTEP, YOU KNEW I WAS GOING TO DIE! DON’T YOU REMEMBER OUR SON AND DAUGHTER! THEY NEEDED A MOTHER MORE THAN ANYTHING! WHY DID YOU LEAVE US ALL! SNIFF. AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Tanjiro screamed and cried until the stone streets cracked.

Meanwhile Obania and Mitsuri embraced when they found each other alive and with no fatal injuries. “Um, Obania don’t freak out but our marks are fading away.” Mitsuri pointed out to her husband.

Obania stood in shock as he remembered what happened, (Tanjiro used the 3rd stage to save us from the aftereffects of the mark.)

“NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO,NO! MY AWESOME ICE POWERS ARE GONE! And when I cut my hand the bleeding didn't stop immediately. I’m just a regular human again!” Inosuke scream while throwing a tantrum.

Zenistu tried to cover his ears with his torn up robe. (Does he ever shut up?) The thunder hashira thought as medical members took him to the Kocho’s house.

Meanwhile Nezuko dragged Tanjiro to an isolated area in the ruined Tokyo in order to check his wounds.

“It’s going to be alright Tanjiro. I just need to castrate the wound and the bleeding will stop, just hang in there a bit longer.” Nezuko pleaded as she then noticed a red worm-like creature enter Tanjiro’s blood wounds.

“Nezuko run. In half an hour my body will disintegrate with Muzan inside of me. If he gets close to the others then all this death would have been for nothing, and -GRAHHHHH!” Tanjiro screamed as he pleaded with Nezuko to run away.
Then Tanjiro’s arm regenerated as Muzan completely took over Kamado's body.

Nezuko held her sword with blood on her palms as she looked in horror at what just happened. Her brother turned into a demon. (What kind of nightmare is this.) Nezuko thought as Demon king Tanjiro picked up his sword readying for battle.

“T-T-T-Tanjiro?”

1.5 YEARS EARLIER

“TANJIRO!” Nezuko shouted with joy in her eyes. “Nezuko what happened?” Tanjiro asked as he saw Nezuko fall down the butterfly mansion’s stairs.

“Well um , after my last mission, hm, Murichrio came over and we walked across the westera gardens and well, um!...... HE ASKED IF HE COULD MARRY ME AND I SAID YES!” Nezuko said with enthusiasm. Tanjiro was overjoyed in pride when hearing the great news.
“That’s wonderful Nezuko. Wait, who else have you told this about?” Tanjiro asked so he could help plan a wedding.

“Um let’s see… Mitsuri, the Kocho sisters, Inosuke, Tengen and his wives, Senjuro, Genya, Lady Tamayo, Gyomei, Giyu, Obanai, and Zenistu who I’m pretty sure vowed to kill Murichrio. Please keep an eye on him.” Nezuko requested as she shivered.

“Don’t worry I’ll make sure Zenistu doesn’t do anything stupid. By the way, Tamayo is in the training center and has asked for you.” Tanjiro explained.

“Thanks.” Nezuko replied as she rushed into the training center.
When arrived Tamayo did a medical examination on Nezuko.

“The results are back, and Nezuko I’m sorry but your body can’t produce any children. I know you always wanted to start a family after defeating Muzan.” Tamayo said with condolences to Nezuko.

Nezuko began to cry knowing that she could never start the family she dreamed of having. (Murichrio, I’m so sorry that I can’t give you children.) Nezuko thought as tears rolled down her eyes.

Tamayo, sensing that Nezuko was depressed by the news, gave the Kamado sister a hug.

“I told Murichrio about this already, and he understands and doesn’t mind or judge that you can’t have children. That boy truly loves you Nezuko, even knowing he is the last of his family name he still loves you.” As Tamayo told Murichrio’s reaction, Nezuko began to slowly sob.

“T-Tamayo, I know this probably isn’t the best time to ask, but I feel that with your responsibilities as the corps commander I feel like I should ask now.” Nezuko explained as she and Tamayo sat down looking at the moon.

“Can you-,-Will you be willing to take the role of my mother for my wedding?” Hearing this Tamayo looked at Nezuko with a shocked and happy face.

“Nezuko, Is-Is this what you really want?” Tamayo asked while trying to hold back tears of joy. Nezuko nodded her head. “Of course Nezuko, it-sniff would be my honor.” Tamayo finished as she hugged Nezuko.

“Thank you, Tamayo.” Nezuko said.

(That was when things were happy when I still had my brother and the closest thing I had left to a mother.) Nezuko reflected on her past as Tanjiro was transformed into the demon king.

NEZUKO VS DEMON KING TANJIRO

Nezuko began to take a fighting stand as Tanjiro’s body was completely possessed by the remains of Muzan. “I’m sorry Tanjiro.” Nezuko said as she unleashed her assault.

“Sun breathing 12th form, flame dance.” Nezuko begins striking Tanjiro with multiple attacks to stall until the curse takes effect.

“YOU CAN’T DEFEAT ME, THIS BODY HAS ALL OF THE SKILLS THIS HASHIRA LEARNED. EVERY BREATH YOU MASTERED HE WENT ABOVE COMPREHENSION!” The demon king shouted as he countered every attack Nezuko blew at him. Then the demon king went in for a headbutt. Nezuko did the same, causing a massive shockwave to be sent across the city.

Meanwhile, Genya heard the shockwave and sensed Muzan’s presence. “Everyone get up! Muzan isn’t dead yet we still need to fight! Murichrio, Senjuro follow me!” Genya ordered as the three hashira rushed to the battle.

“Sun breathing, 13th form, full cycle.” Both twins unleashed turning the sky red.

Nezuko and Tanjiro’s strike started a massive earthquake that caused damage and death throughout the world. Nezuko, still trying to save Tanjiro, began to cry while fighting.

“Please, You have to fight it. Don’t become a demon! Tanjiro!” As Nezuko screamed she saw her brother cry, as if he was trying to stop.

“Nezuko get down!” Genya ordered as he shot a round that froze Muzan’s cells to the point they could no longer harm Nezuko.
“Mist breathing 7th form, obscuring clouds.” Murichrio covered the battlefield in fog which let him deal devastating blows to Tanjiro’s body in order to slow regeneration.

“Flame breathing, 9th form, Rengoku!” Senjuro shouted as he dashed into Tanjiro causing a beam of fire to shoot from the sky, speeding up the destruction of Tanjiro’s body. As nezuko prepared to land a finishing blow she heard Tanjiro speak one last time.

“It’s okay Nezuko. These past 9 years have been worth protecting you from harm. The mark will be gone after today. You and the others will be able to live full happy and long lives. Also because I’ll be dead soon, Please take care of my infant children. Their names are Hanako and Rokuta. They were named after our little brother and sister who died all those years ago. Be their mother for them,and please don’t lose your smile. It shines so much hope to people who need it, okay.” Tanjiro told Nezuko as he tried to comfort his sister’s pain.

“Water breathing, 5th form, blessed rain after the drought.” Nezuko unleashed a final strike to give her brother a painless death. As she fell down in tears she heard her brother say, “Thank you for staying alive sister, I’ll be waiting for you in the next life.”

Tanjiro had died before her eyes in order to finally end all demons. Nezuko felt her heart drown has her mind, body, and emotional state completely broke down.

“Why’d it have to be you! You were always the strongest and kindest out of all of us! Even though we are the same age I always looked up to you! Whatever God or mystic being who created the blue spider lily's please I’m begging of you! BRING MY BROTHER BACK TO ME! AAAHHHHH! AHHHHHHH!” Nezuko cried and punched through rubble until she passed out from exhaustion.

“Genya finally was able to release his emotions, feeling as if he saw Sanemi die twice.

“Send word to everyone that Tanjiro has died and that the demons are gone forever.” Genya orders the crow as tears fall down his face.

“Tanjiro Sensei, thank you for teaching me the path of Kyojuro’s process of becoming the flame hashira. I vow to keep your name alive for eternity.” Senjuro promised his master as he went to bury Tanjiro’s remains with honor.

“Nezuko! Hang in there. I know you're going through hell right now but I still need you to keep going. Your smile and kindness gave me the will to push my limits beyond talent. I won’t leave you Nezuko. No one else will. We can live the happy life we always talked about.” Murichrio told Nezuko in order to comfort her.

As Nezuko fell asleep one thing stayed in her mind.

Meanwhile crows sent the word of Tanjiro’s death to the other hashira.

“Impossible, I won’t believe it until I see the body.” Obania declared as Mitsuri hugged him while hearing the news.

“ Damn it! TANJIRO KAMADO! Why’d you have to die on us like that! Just as we beat Muzan’s ass!” Inosuke wailed out, finally getting Tanjiro’s name right.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help you Tanjiro.” Zenistu said as he began to cry deeply for hours.

RECOVERY

At the butterfly mansion Aoi finished treating the hashira’s wounds after a 6 month recovery. “To be honest, I thought none of you would heal after that fight.” Aoi said as a crow flew into the mansion.

“Squawk! All hashira’s are to go to the master’s mansion for the last hashira meeting!” The crow ordered as the hashira headed to the mansion.

When they arrived, the hashira were greeted by the Ubuyashiki clan.

“Nezuko, Zenistu, Inosuke, Genya, Mitsuri, Obanai, Murichrio, Senjuro. We thank you for destroying Muzan and ending the demon race. As of today the demon slayer corps are dispanned. We wish you good fortune in the years to come.” The clan said as they bowed their heads.

The next day, all the hashira’s gathered in the butterfly mansion to discuss their future.

“Even though Muzan is gone, the world still bleeds from his reign. We must help rebuild our shattered world and bring peace to humanity.” Genya explained to the group.

“My family's social status is that of a samurai clan so I’ll be focused on maintaining peace and order throughout Japan, while we rebuild Tokyo.” Senjuro proposed.

“I wish you luck Senjuro. Unfortunately I can’t join you. Mitsuri and I are retiring from swordsmanship to raise our family.” Obania explained as he bowed his head.

“The crows agreed to continue sending messages to all of us. I promise to send you letters and visit you all whenever I can.” Mitsuri promised as she squeezed everyone.

“So what’s your plan Inosuke?” Zenitsu asked the beast hashira.

“Well, I can’t regenerate or create ice anymore so, I guess I’ll become a beast hunter!” Inosuke said with pride in his face. “All the world's monster’s will bow before me!” Inosuke shouted with everyone looking confused.

“Anyway, me and Genya are going to be managing survival supplies to the survivors in Tokyo with my wife. Many of the medical corps agreed to help us.” Zenitsu told his friends.

Nezuko looked at the sunset as the sky turned yellow.

“To be honest, I don’t know what to do next. I can say for sure that I’ll be raising Hanako and Rokuta with Murichrio but other than that, what comes next is unknown.” Nezuko said as she felt depressed. Murichrio put his hand on Nezuko’s shoulder and began to comfort her.

“I know the future may be scary and what happens next is unpredictable, but Tanjiro wouldn’t want us to live in doubt for the rest of our lives. I think deep in your heart you know that as well.” Murichrio told his wife as Nezuko smiled.

“Thank’s Muchi.” Nezuko said.

The next day Nezuko and Murichrio headed to Aoi’s house to get their niece and nephew. Aoi had been taking care of the infants while Nezuko was healing from the battle with Muzan. She got a letter that her elder sister’s died and that Kanao wished for Nezuko to take care of the children if Kanao died in battle.

“It’s about time you two showed up. Those kids wouldn’t stop crying until I was with them every 5 minutes. I haven’t gotten a full night’s rest since the demon’s ended. Goodluck luck with them.” Aoi said jokingly as she handed the infants to Murichrio and Nezuko.

“Oh, and before you go, you should know that they love to be raised into the air. I can't reach high enough for the wind to blow unless I’m on a hill. So you’ll be much better than me.” Aoi said while addressing her short height.

“Like this?” Murichrio and Nezuko began raising the infants above their heads and watched them laugh.

“Rokuta, Hi, I’m your aunt Nezuko. I’m sorry it took us this long to recover. I’m sure Aoi was kind to you and-.... Sniff- You look just like your father.” Nezuko began to hug her nephew as memories of Tanjiro filled her head.

ONE YEAR AGO

“Nezuko!” Tanjiro shouted as he jumped onto the roof of Nezuko’s house where nezuko was meditating.

“You seem excited. What happened, you're starting to act like Inosuke.” Nezuko jokingly said as the twins began to laugh.

“Kanao is pregnant, Nezuko.” Tanjiro said as Nezuko began to overfill with joy.

“Oh my god, Tanjiro, I'm so proud of you.” Nezuko said as she hugged Tanjiro tightly.

“Do you need someone to watch over her, because I’m more than willing-.” Nezuko is interrupted by Tanjiro.

“It’s alright, Aoi is already preparing everything as we speak. Kanao will be forced to take maternity leave in three months due to Tamayo’s orders, and I need you to take on some of Kanao’s missions to fill her void until the kids are born okay.” Tanjiro told Nezuko as she agreed to help.

PRESENT DAY

As Nezuko began hugging her baby nephew Aoi and Murichrio hugged her as well, seeing that she was in pain.

“I wish they were here too. I miss my sisters. I’d do anything to see them again.” Aoi began to cry as well as the triplets hearing what had happened joined in comfort Nezuko.

In 3 days Nezuko and Murichrio were settled in their house overlooking the nearby town.

“Squawk! The hashira’s have arrived.” Nezuko’s crow said as someone knocked on the door. The house was quite large with multiple floors and enough area to raise the infants.

“Nezuko.” Mitsuri rushed in to hug the couple as the rest of the hashira entered to catch up. The hashira started to cook a large dinner with them telling stories about their new lives.

“Behold. The legend of the flaming thunder god, a story about the amazing thunder hashira who saved the world from the demon’s single handedly. Written and published by yours truly.” Zenitsu announced with a grin on his face.

“Yeah. I’m sure the book will do great Zenitsu.” Obania said sarcastically.

“Everyone, I have an announcement to make. After years of them constantly asking relentlessly, I finally caved in and agreed to take the Kocho triplets in as my wives.” Senjuro told everyone as the triplets jumped over Senjuro to kiss him.

(I swear those three will consume him alive if I don’t keep an eye out.) Aoi thought as she tried to calm down the triplets.

(What’s the name of that old train again?) Murichrio thought as his mind faded away into his head.

“Look out everyone, cause Lord Inosuke just got a new hide.” Inosuke declared showing off a jacket made from bear fur.

“Tanjiro would have loved to see all this unfold.” Genya stated to Nezuko as he entered the house.

“Come on, I’m sure everyone will be excited.” Nezuko told Genya as they were greeted by everyone.

No matter what they were faced with next in life, no matter what comes next. Nezuko knew that she was ready for the happy future ahead of her.

“T-T-Tanjiro.” Nezuko stood in shock as her brother walked towards her.

“Hi Nezuko, everyone went to the afterlife, I would go too but I wanted to make sure you lived a good life and for you to come with me. I know that sounds dumb and Kanao and the others are probably worried but I didn’t want to leave without you Nezu-.” Before Tanjiro could speak anymore Nezuko ran up and hugged her late brother so hard that they fell over.

“Please don’t say anything else. You were the best person this world has ever seen. You did enough to save us, don’t blame yourself for anything, just don’t leave me again!” Nezuko shouted as she cried for hours with Tanjiro hugging her back.

“Everyone is waiting for us. It’s best not to keep them waiting.” Tanjiro said as he and Nezuko reunited with their friends and loved ones in the next life.

“Stone breathing 2nd form, upper smash.” The swordsman throws both their axe and spiked flail for a pincer move before smashing down on the chain to cause the flail to then rebound and smash their target from afar.

“Stone breathing 3rd form, stone skin.” The swordsman unleashes a series of slashes with their blade deflecting nearby attacks.

“Stone breathing 4th form, volcanic rock- rapid conquest.” The swordsman manipulates both the flail and axe weapons at both ends of the chain by swinging the chain on both sides in order to strike his opponents using a two pronged wide ranged attack.

“Stone breathing 5th form, arcs of justice.” The swordsman utilizes a powerful barrage with their flail and axe, doing a great amount of damage. The axe is destined to hit first with the trajectory of the flail following from the opposite side and slamming into the opponent.

“Stone breathing 6th form, tectonic slam.” the swordsman begins spinning their flail across a wide area. This causes it to build up in speed as well as redirect the air flow to the user. The sudden change of air current draws in opponents as well as improves the user’s oxygen supply (consequently augmenting the technique’s power). “Stone breathing 15th form, obsidian rush.” The user will charge at their opponent and jump to a high height and perform a slash through the middle of their opponent's body. This form also ensures a safe landing for the user.

“Stone breathing 16th form, hopeful golden smash.” This form is said to bring luck to the user in battle, the user will rush toward their opponent and slash multiple times causing damage to wherever they hit on the opponent.

“Stone breathing 17th form, treasured crystal.” The user will stab the ground focusing on their next opponent's movements to try to help them understand their movement before striking their opponent again. This will help boost your sense of smell and hearing.

“Stone breathing 18th form, emerald crown.” This form is used when a Demon surrenders and it will cause little to no pain to the demon. It will make them feel a sense of affection and warmth.

“Stone breathing 19th form, steel strike.” The user's katana increases its size and sharpness, & dashes to the opponent and a blinding speed swing decipating the opponent easily.

“Stone breathing 20th form, demolition.” the user rushes to the enemy, utilizing a massive drill, when hitted the enemy dismantles its body and head into pieces.

“Stone breathing 21st form, metallic fangs.” the user leaps in the air in a loop, utilizing a serpent fang biting the opponents necks with no mercy.

“Stone breathing 22nd form, steel giant haze.” the user makes several metal spike poles around the users area, piercing the opponent making them stuck at it.

“Stone breathing 23rd form, mace impale.” the user utilizes a massive mace throwing it at the enemy, demolishing them easily when they get hit.

“Stone breathing 24th form, steel war hammer.” The user utilizes a massive hammer, making five heavy slashes, after the fifth swing the hammer smashes the ground hard, smashing the opponent in pieces.

“Flower breathing 1st form, thorne bush barrage.” Kanao unleashes multiple thorn projectiles at demon necks

“Flower breathing 2nd form, shadow plum.” The user releases several rotating sword slashes that deflect incoming physical attacks.

“Flower breathing 3rd form, root grasp.” Aims at the legs to immobilize fast movement, used as upperward slash.

“Flower breathing 4th form, crimson dance.” The user unleashes a single sword slash that curves and twists gracefully.

“Flower breathing 5th form, seeds of growth.” The user unleashes a flurry of nine consecutive attacks that flow and weave in on themselves.

“Flower breathing 6th form, whirling peach.” A technique used after or during evasion, the user spins around moving with their body weight to deliver an attack.

“Flower breathing 7th form, wisteria dance.” Move in which the user dashes at the speed of a bullet train and destroys any demon in its way (weak demons) by performing moves similar to dashing flame dance, (The modified 1st form of sun breathing where the user carried multiple fast strikes in fluid motion.)

“Flower breathing 8th form, cactus spike swing.” Used as both defensive and offensive by deflecting projectiles and making a strong forward strike that takes up alot of energy to decapitate, (Recommended for lower and upper moons.)

“Flower breathing 9th form, venus fly trap.” User unleashes aerial strikes by jumping while creating dozens of strikes to take out large groups of demons. Then on the way down the user bursts into wisteria butterflies that inject poison into any surviving demons then the user reforms their human body after the move is complete.

“Flower breathing 10th form, vine uphold.” User infuses wisteria poison into sword metal and strikes the limbs of demons. This is used to slow the regeneration and gives time for flexibility in attacks.

“Flower breathing 11th form, stabbing branches.” User attacks at inhumane speeds from all directions to confuse the enemy on where to regenerate. (Mark required.)

“Flower breathing 12th form, slamming roots.” Frontal strike where the user builds up momentum during a charge to break Doma’s hardening ice ability from 5 directions.

“Flower breathing 13th form, Gaia’s overtake.” User enters a selfless state and pushes a seemingly endless barrage of attacks in order to make the demon unaware of the user's strategy or predicting movements. After trapping the demon in close combat and draining its energy, the user summons constructs of honeydew to trap enemy movements and gives the user an opening to cut the head off.

Zenitsu

“Thunder breathing 8th form, fazing storm clouds.” Zenitsu moves his molecular structure so fast that he fazes through objects and attacks.

“Thunder breathing 9th form, nimbus storm cloud strike.” Zenitsu runs in a circular motion to create a massive lightning ball which he launches at the demons.

“Thunder breathing 10th form, electro magnetic pull and push.” Zenitsu charges like a magnet and this causes Hundreds of demons to be magnetically pulled into a thunder cloud construct which shoots those demons into lighting bolts that imploded when they are shot out into other demons.

“Thunder breathing 11th form, thunder clones.” Zenitsu vibrates his molecular structure enough to create clones to fight on multiple fronts.

“Thunder breathing 12th form, thunder wheel.” Zenitsu rotated in a 360 angle fast to drill through any demons in his way.

“Thunder breathing 13th form, thrust and explosion.” The swordsman unleashes a thrust attack that causes a noise very similar to a strong blast when it hits the opponent.

“Thunder breathing 14th form, bursting jump.” The swordsman jumps enormously high trying to confuse the enemy, who will not be able to correctly understand the trajectory. The Demon Slayer then thrusts the daggers into the foe’s body.

“Thunder breathing 15th form, blaster vortex.” The swordsman swirls the sword, moving it rhythmically from one hand to the other. Good for close quarters combat.

“Thunder breathing 16th form, subdued burst.” This form requires extremely precise and strong movements. The swordsman temporarily embeds the sword in the enemy with a strong blow that causes a noise very similar to a subdued blast.

“Thunder breathing 17th form, warm cuts.” This form is extremely complex because it requires abnormal precision strength and speed. The swordsman performs quick cuts on specific areas of the opponent’s body in order to weaken and confuse him. Then he proceeds by inserting the sword in the forehead of the enemy and finally he proceeds with the beheading. All these actions, however, must be implemented within no more than a few seconds.

“Thunder breathing 18th form, death explosions.” The swordsman quickly runs to the enemy’s torso and inserts the daggers into his stomach, then quickly pulls them out, dividing the upper body of the enemy from the lower. After that, the enemy's upper limbs are blocked with the swordsman's legs and the opponent is beheaded. At the same time, the daggers are rotated in an almost confused way, so that the bright reflections stun the opponent.

“Thunder breathing 19th form, biltz swarm.” The user unleashes thirty, consecutive vertical and horizontal slashes within quick succession before finishing off with a powerful, upward, arc slash that sends the enemy flying in the air, then is followed by a strike of lightning from the sky.

“Thunder breathing 20th form, ball of lightning.” The swordsman holds both swords in a crossing order choosing whether to guard using an x formation or a +formation. This is used to guard from different slashes which makes it a highly versatile defensive technique.

“Thunder breathing 21st form, lightning shards.” The swordsman charges up, which powers the sword with electrical energy. Then releases 50 consecutive piercing thrusts on the opponent at extreme speeds which may stun the opponent with electrical energy.

“Thunder breathing 22nd form, breakneck volt.” The swordsman's sword generates a strike of lightning onto the enemy, which stuns the enemy. The lightning bolt can be an arching strike, a straightforward strike, or a curved strike. The swordsman then strikes the enemy in the same way the lightning struck the enemy at extreme speeds, which deals massive damage.

“Thunder breathing 23rd form, rolling thunder.” The swordsman front flips and "dash-rolls" towards the enemy with the sword being held upwards. The swordsman then blitzes the enemy before landing which leaves no opening for a counterattack or evasion.

“Thunder breathing 24th form, thunderbolt burst.” This move replicates both the first and sixth form of Thunder Breathing in which the swordsman slashes both swords simultaneously in an x formation which is followed by a fast bolt of lightning which stuns and burns the enemy and guarantees no chance of evasion. Then the swordsman rushes towards the enemy and impales the opponent at blinding speeds.

“Thunder breathing 25th form, lightning god’s wrath.” The user infuses the entire body and blades with lethal levels of electricity and, moving faster than the mind can register, dashes in a zigzag coated in lightning, slicing and incinerating anything in the way. Anything and anyone that comes within 10 meters of the user as they dash is sliced and electrocuted by stray electricity spreading unpredictably like lightning across the sky. The closer to the path of the dash, the heavier the damage, and vice versa.

“Thunder breathing 26th form, disintegration.” The swordsman unleashes a powerful barrage of thrusts and stabs that creates small, arrow-shaped shockwaves that can damage the bones with each thrusts. This technique can be performed close-ranged or long-ranged.

“Thunder breathing 27th form, primary combustion.” The swordsman swings their sword with extreme speed which makes the blade of the sword rise in temperature, it helps in slashing demons or objects easily.

“Thunder breathing 28th form, rupturing blow.” The swordsman swings their sword three ways in a wide circular motion creating tall shockwaves rupturing anything in its range.

“Thunder breathing 29th form,destructive counter.” The swordsman tilts their sword in a guarding manner then rushes towards the enemy while pushing through, creating a barrier.

“Thunder breathing 30th form, bloodlust.” The swordsman rushes in towards the nearest enemy and stabs the enemy in a twisting motion and does the same to five other enemies in quick succession.

“Thunder breathing 31st form, detonation.” The swordsman throws out multiple mini-bombs and pelts them towards the enemy using a barrage of swings and arcs, detonating the bombs near the enemy and their projectiles.

“Thunder breathing 32nd form, arcs of disorder.” The swordsman swings the sword around their body in a wide and random manner, creating sickle-like cutter shockwaves that trample enemies above and around the swordsman.

“Thunder breathing 33rd form, time slowment clock work.” The user channels their blade for 2 seconds before swinging themself 3 times. On the third time of swinging, the user unleashes a big realm that slows demon movements and obscures demons' visions while improving allies movement speed.

“Thunder breathing 34th form, 10 second reverse.” The user grips their sheathed blade and charges the moment they open their eyes and until within striking range, they quickly draw their blade, performing an upwards, diagonal slash past their opponent, delivering several cuts and slices in presumably a single strike.

“Thunder breathing 35th form, strike of the hourglass.” The user dashes forward and seemingly creates large amounts of sand (approximately 300 million grains) resembling sand in an hourglass. The grains are seen behind the blade, increasing the weight of the sword and effectively supporting the user's next attack, which is often a vertical or horizontal slash.

“Thunder breathing 36th form, destiny changes.” The user recedes a white aura all around their body, as a result their speed is seemingly, momentarily amplified, they rush their enemy and strike them with a series of sword slashes, faster than the eye can perceive.

“Thunder breathing 37th form, blinding lights.” century fast forward.” The user summons a big, wide clock in the sky and the needle of the clock will go anti-clockwise while reversing time back to the beginning of the war. If the user or any of their allies is fatally injured, this user can use this technique to rewind back to the time where they were not badly injured.

“Thunder breathing 38th form, cutting fury.” The user takes a stance before becoming entirely motionless as a glowing white clock is seen above them, winding and ticking 100 times in moments. Afterwards, the user projects a white aura and gains enhanced physical capabilities and pursues relentlessly afterwards, this form possesses a limited usage as it inflicts almost constant strain on the user's body and can only be used for roughly a minute.

“Thunder breathing 39th form, foresight.” The user's blade glows white and if they successfully strike their target, they seemingly are able to predict the enemy's movements, indicated when their eyes flash white for small intervals, which strongly resembles glancing into the future. This technique is only truly effective when the user has great precision and good intel on their opponent beforehand, allowing them to deconstruct their opponent's attacks and predict what they'll do ahead of time.

“Thunder breathing 40th form, annihilation.” The swordsman thrusts their sword into the ground creating a destructive underground shockwave that creates an eruption of destructive yellow aura lightning flames from an unknown source underground. The flame is said to burn even the toughest of metals and destroy entire forests. The swordsman uses thunder breathing all combinations and creates this extremely powerful ability enough to handle Kokushibo, the Upper Moon 1. User then uses all of their strength in one final slash to the neck. Cost of the users left foot.

Genya

“Wood breathing 1st form, birch spider web.” This form launches a wooden bullet into an enemy causing their bodies to be paralyzed with wood growing out of them.

“Wood breathing 2nd form, wood clones.” This creates wooden clones of Genya that fight by his side.

“Wood breathing 3rd form, crushing oak.” Genya grows claes that tear through demons like a bear.

“Wood breathing 4th form, timber dance.” Genya’s body hardens as he cuts down demons in quick succession.

“Wood breathing 5th form, pine dragon buddha statue.” Genya summons a giant buddha statue that unleashes a barrage of wooden dragon heads at demons.

Muichrio

“Mist breathing 8th form, thin cloud teleport.” Muichrio enters the selfless state as he teleports behind the enemy if he is completely surrounded by attacks. Similar to dead calm.

“Mist breathing 9th form, passing dusk.” Inspired by Zenitsu, the mist hashira makes his body thin as air in order to temporarily be invincible to attacks.

“Mist breathing 10th form, mist dragon dance.” Similar to the sun halo dragon, this form

After training with a user of thunder breathing this form was created as a quick way to dodge attacks or a quicker more powerful strike in one go.

If the user has awakened the demon slayer mark then this form is even more powerful because of the speed and reaction time being greatly increased with an awakened mark.
