Space exploration was no longer on the forefront of the minds of scientists and astronomers, rather rebuilding the global supply chain and working together to minimize the kessler effect from all of the destroyed satellites orbiting the Earth. Millions of Tiny shards of tin and iron floating in space made successfully navigating the skies to orbit a far riskier maneuver than it used to be. Once they got into the corridor leading to the rocket, they would quickly be discarded. Much to the chosens beweilderment. 

Then, the overhead light turned from white to green, and the doors on the far side of the room opened wide, and in strode Mya as the medical staff exited the room.

“Are you ladies ready to make history?” Mya said as everyone in the room cheered in excitement.

Mya looked Amanda straight in the eye then said, “Captain, what your doing today is going to be remembered for the entirety of mankinds existence, this mission, will inspire countless girls to become the strong women that this planet so desperately needs, we all look up to you Amanda, your a part of all of us here at Desmond.”

“There is no need for you to say anything, your the hero of mankind, you inspire us all. Mya said as she motioned towards the Teslas that would drive them out to the launch pad. 

Amanda nodded and then turned towards her crew then said, “This is the greatest honor of my life, despite such kind and beautiful words… Amanda began to tear up but continued, “I feel as if I don’t deserve the honor, I am just another woman same as all of you, but I promise, that I will be there for each and every one of you on this mission. This mission wouldn’t be possible without your combined help and guidance.

As the crew walked outside to get into the vehicles, they saw the chosen assemble in another line about 40 feet away to load up into a bus.
