Dear Mr Potter,
We are pleased to inform you the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will be allowing those students whose final year was disrupted, to return for an Eighth Year. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment, along with the special accommodations that will be provided during this next academic year
Term begins on the 1st of September. We await you owl by no later than 31st of July

All Eighth Year students will find themselves in need of all equipment required for a Seventh Year. if you wish to change your class timetable, please be aware you will be enrolled in both the Sixth and Seventh Year NEWT classes for any new subject you wish to study. Supplemental seminars will be held as well for any student who feels the need to attend them
Eighth Years will be given permission to visit Hogsmeade at any time, provided the student in questions' grades are above a passing mark in all classes.
This year there will be a new addition to the faculty staff. Hogwarts is well aware of the mistreatment some students experienced during the last academic year, so under our new leadership, and with full support from the School Board, Hogwarts will welcome Dr. Cartwright to the faculty to assist with any metal difficulties students may face upon returning to school grounds.
Hogwarts hopes these changes reassure any student unsure about returning, and invites parents to send their questions to the School Board.
