Reader POV:
In the soft glow of the moonlit room, I watched as Dick Grayson stirred restlessly in his sleep. His raven-black hair cascaded over his muscular shoulders, framing his striking blue eyes.
Suddenly, a low murmur escaped his lips. I leaned closer, intrigued by his incoherent ramblings.
'Holy acrobats, Batman...' he muttered, his voice husky with sleep.
I chuckled to myself, amused by his subconscious musings. He must have been dreaming of his nighttime adventures as Robin.
As the night wore on, Dick's tossing and turning grew more pronounced. He rolled over, his powerful body shifting beneath the sheets.
With a sudden lurch, he fell off the edge of the bed and crashed onto the floor with a loud thud.
I gasped and jumped to my feet, my heart pounding in my chest. The moonlight illuminated Dick's prone form, his eyes still closed in slumber.
'Dick!' I exclaimed, rushing to his side. 'Are you okay?'
He stirred and groaned, slowly opening his eyes.
'Y/N?' he mumbled, his voice groggy. 'What happened?'
'You fell out of bed,' I replied, unable to suppress a giggle.
Dick's eyes widened in embarrassment. 'I'm so sorry,' he said, scrambling to his feet. 'I didn't mean to scare you.'
'It's okay,' I said, a smile spreading across my face. 'It was actually kind of funny.'
Dick chuckled nervously. 'I'm glad you think so. I'm just a little clumsy when I'm asleep.'
He reached out and took my hand, pulling me towards him. 'I'm not sure what I would do without you, Y/N,' he said, his blue eyes twinkling with affection.
'You'd probably sleep on the floor more often,' I teased.
He laughed, and I couldn't resist giving him a playful kiss.
'Come on,' I said, 'Let's get you back in bed before you fall out again.'
Together, we made our way back to the bed, Dick's laughter echoing through the room.
As he settled back into the sheets, I couldn't help but marvel at the man he was. A skilled acrobat, a loyal friend, and a loving boyfriend. And even when he was clumsy and sleep-talking, he was still the most charming person I knew.
With a contented sigh, I closed my eyes, listening to the sound of Dick's steady breathing. I knew that no matter what adventures lay ahead, I would always have him by my side.
But just as I was drifting off to sleep, I heard a faint whisper.
'Holy night terrors, Batman...'
I couldn't help but chuckle, knowing that Dick would never truly escape his superhero alter ego, even in his dreams.
