Chapter Text
The wind gently caressed the tree's leaves leaving trails throughout the landscape of the manor.
Autumn was coming, full of vibrant foliages, crisp air, the scent of fallen leaves,
And the feeling of distance.
With the rustle of leaves underfoot and the gentle chill in the air. It's an opportunity for introspection.
Kevin couldn't deny on how he noticed, on he and bane slowly started staying too far from eachother, it felt forced.
Bane's touch felt superficial, full of flaws.
Once vibrant with hope, now crumbled under the weight of neglect.
They were like like petals in the autumn wind, drifting apart, while their hands that once reached out to touch, Now hesitate.
It all felt like heap of shattered dreams. Each passing moment feels like another crack in their fragile facade.
Kevin should've known it was elusive.
Should've known it wouldn't work out in the first place.
Should've known they were never meant to be.
Though the world spins on, and time flows free, their love remains bittersweet and unrequited ongoing for many decades to come.
